Me and my colleagues, we had a conference in Bucharest and Dalin*** Hotel was recommended by the organizers as being close to the event. So we went there. First of all, when checking in, we had to pay for all three nights that we had to stay. After that we went to the rooms. Rooms are dated with old furniture and filthy carpets. Bathroom was ok until I had a shower and half of the drained water leaked into the bathroom. I told the manager about this issue next day and it was kind of repaired but not entirely. A colleague found a bed linen in the room. She was determined to give up the room and move to another hotel, but she was refused money refund for two nights. I had a room on the second floor and one night there was a feast at the restaurant on the first floor. I knew about this, but I didn't think I couldn't sleep until 3 in the morning, despite the fact that I had taken sleeping pills in the evening. Breakfast included was the same in all mornings: eggs or scrambled eggs, some sausages and cheese, traces of tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers, plus coffee or tea. If you wanted a second coffee, you had to pay for it. The juice offered was anything but natural. This hotel is not worth, in my opinion, more than one and a half or two stars. The only advantages are the location, at about 10 minutes walk to the city center and the Old Town, and that it is cheaper than other *** hotels. I won't repeat this experience again when in Bucharest.

Firstly the hotel rang us the week before we were due to arrive and said they didn't have a room. Then rang back to say they did. We arrived a bit early as we had to drop a hire car off and the room was not ready which was fair enough. We then came back just before the 3pm check in time and had to wait over half an hour after that as they said that it was taking the cleaner a long time to clean because the previous occupants were very messy! Once we got in the room it was very clean and spacious. The decor is very different but interesting. The view from he outside area was stunning. The sofa bed was still a sofa so myself and my husband battled with the sofa to turn it into a bed. Once that was done there was no cover and we we asked reception and they said there wasn't one?? So they expected he children to sleep uncovered. We ended up using the top sheet from the main bed, this was Ok for them as he room was like a sauna! The breakfast was basic 1 type of cereal no eggs left and no fresh juice. The kitchen assistant was lovely and with some hand gestures she made us a lovely omelette. The guy on reception was friendly and got my husband a coffee as we waited but no organisation and other staff looked miserable and hard to figure out who worked there as they don't wear a uniform. A shame as the rooms are spacious and it is in a great location.

We stayed there at the recommendation if my parents, who stayed there before and loved it. It was not what i expected to be fair. The bathroom was dirty and mouldy. I did not feel at ease what so ever all night, couldn't wait to get out of there. Another strange thing, they dont accept card payment!!??!

The reception staff helped, but laughed and rolled their eyes at my tourist questions (this is not professional behavior). I had a prepaid booking, including the city and local taxes, payable at booking time. The payment was executed in EUR. At departure I was asked to pay a 'exchange rate difference'. What incurred the difference? The payment was executed from an EUR account on Mercure Hotels' website where the rates were displayed in EUR. According to the emails I wasn't supposed to pay anything at departure. The staff just raised their shoulders and asked me to pay. Rude, unprofessional and unjustifiable. The room was nice and clean and the breakfast met my expectations. There is no taxi station nearby, although you can order one with the help of employees.

The hotel has such a wonderful view of the city, especially when the sun goes down and the night it’s coming you will be amazed to see all the beauty of the city itself. Besides this fact, the staff was very kind and helpful, they even got involved helping me with the transport, they called for a secured cab and it was all great. I know Romania for quite long because I settled here with my business and I could say that this hotel provides all you need for a place to stay including their great Skybar. They also have great services and I totally recommend it to you. If you look for a hotel in the city center, with food and beverages already included, near all the facilities you need and surrounded by some really nice people who work here, well this is all you need and the best thing about it is that the hotel it’s a brand new one and it’s doing its best by far !

The location of the hotel is actually very good, very close to the old street, the starting point of the key airport bus is also in the nearest square. The room is very large, which is the biggest of the six hotels in this trip. The fly in the ointment is that the location of Wi-Fi in the bedroom is completely gone, reminding me that I can't watch the phone while sleeping. Has reacted with the hotel, can you change rooms, but said that each room is like this, if you switch to the top floor executive room, because it is far from Wi-Fi, it is even worse. So every day we go online on the two sofas in the toilet door because the signal is good. Breakfast is OK, dessert is delicious.

Arrived here in the early hours of the morning, reception was organised and expecting us. Check in was swift and painless. Our standard room was on the second floor and met our expectations on size and comfort. The bedding appeared spotless and the bed itself was very comfortable. We had a good sized shower with no plumbing issues and loads of hot water. The room temperature suited us fine, although I did open the window a bit for some air. No apparent noise from corridor or lift. Breakfast was extensive and catered well for our needs. Lots of fresh fruit and decent coffee. Staff here are attentive and polite and deserve a mention . I have nothing bad to say about the hotel. We ordered our taxi before leaving the UK, and did this through the hotel. Would recommend this service as it came on time and no awkward moments wondering what it was going to cost . If you are considering coming to Bucharest, I can recommend this hotel.

I hate to write bad reviews. It’s not fair to the hard working staff. However - This time I HAVE to make an exception. I’m habe booked a stay in The Radisson Blu in Bukarest - Junior Suite. Nice staff, however- terrible place. We are living on a construction site. (they should have told us) It is terribly loud as they are working on the ground floor. The room was not clean (Cornflakes under the bed) Furniture was broken Hair and dirt in the bathrooms No stationary Old coffee machine Fitness Center is being used by public as well - 5 star hotel ? Carpets are old and used All in all I deeply REGRET the stay

Location is perfect, you can find tons of restaurants, touristic places just a few hundred meters away.... The room are very clean, nothing to complain about. Rooms can be somewhat loud, but just ask for a more quit one and it should be perfect. Crew is clearly on point, always helpful (even when they don't have to) and will always try to advise as best as they can for places to see. Even with the current Covid situation, the breakfast can be served on the terasse and is really good. I came in Bucarest for work, the whole Hilton team made the trip much more pleasant. I will come again for sure

The best of the six hotels I stayed in this trip, the red room of the key room, feels like a honeymoon. Ok, just take this as our honeymoon. Because our plane arrived in the early hours of the morning, we checked in at 5 o'clock, but we didn't book the room in the previous night. If checkin is added to the night before 12 o'clock, it will still be a little uncomfortable, but the hotel is also reasonable. I think about the price, after all, it is too tired, they are right. Hotel breakfast is of course very rich, the key is honey, the original way to eat, I also see for the first time, no slippers, so be sure to bring slippers. Great for business, parent-child travel!

We stayed her for a long weekend in February. We had booked a deluxe double room which included a complimentary mini bar. When we arrived at the hotel we received a very warm welcome from the reception staff and were told that we were also to receive a complimentary breakfast in the buffet restaurant. This was great as it set us up nicely for the day. Lots of choice and of good quality. Sparkling wine was available each morning too. We had a city view room on level 8. The style of the room is classic Intercontinental. It was extremely comfortable and had a balcony. We were lucky enough to have fantastic weather so often had the balcony door open. The amenities were great. High quality toiletries, nespresso coffee machine, robes, slippers and the mini bar. The mini bar which consisted of wine, beer, spirits, mixers, soft dinks, water and snacks was replenished each day. We chose the hotel as we are IHG members and the location. 40 mins in a cab from the airport (although we got the bus back no 783, went from the stop just south of the hotel) 10 min walk to the Old Town, 30 min walk to Palace of the Parliament. Spa/ pool is good too. IHG members get a complimentary welcome drink at the bar too! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Intercontinental Bucharest. Highly recommended.

This was my fourth or fifth visit to the Athenee Palace Hilton in Bucharest, but it was my first time not on business and the first time with my wife. I believe it predates its association with Hilton. What you get is a classic hotel in the center of what makes Bucharest special with the advantages of the Hilton Brand. It has been my experience that European Hiltons are more luxurious than those in the US. This hotel is certainly no exception. We only experienced breakfast in the restaurant, but it was totally first class, from service to the freshness and variety of items, all combining to provide a pampered experience. The same could be said for the Executive Lounge. Not large, but nicely laid out, well attended and with impressive spreads of food, both during evening snacks and during breakfast. Like breakfast in the dining room, the service was truly first class. Our room was nice, with a comfortable bed, well resupplied amenities and plenty of hangers and hanging space. We only visited the spa and fitness area, but they were well laid out and well staffed. The pool wasn't huge, but it was larger than many, not as long as I would have preferred for swimming laps, but long enough. Reception and concierge were top class and quite helpful, and the hotel lobby and space between the lobby and restaurant are what you would want if you were entertaining important guests. The same could be said for the bar area (I think called the London Pub). If I were entertaining business guests, I would be very pleased to do it here. Finally, the location is perfect - across the street from Revolution Square and national art museum and a short walk to old town. If I return to Bucharest, I will, with a doubt, return to the Athenee Palace.

POSITION: Very good. Ten minutes on foot to Piata 21 Decembrie 1989 (bus stop to airoport), twenty minutes to Gara Nord station. Many sights reachable on foot. I booked it because Ateneul Român concert hall is near. Although it is easy to get lost in the surrounding streets. HOTEL: Interior is stylish and old. It is not easy for maintaining. Nevertheless cleanliness was good. No major remarks. ROOM: A double room was pretty big. Oriented to the street with low traffic. So I could sleep by the open window i.e. balcony door. There was minibar and coffee/tea device which I liked. In a big bathroom I liked tap and helve in the shower cabin. Many little things that make the stay comfortable. WIFI:OK BREAKFAST: I did not have it. VALUE FOR MONEY:Very good. I booked the room very favorably via Booking.com.
