It is very comfortable to live, it is also close to Chinese Street, to a series of attractions such as the World War II Memorial Lincoln Memorial, and a ten-minute drive to the Captain white seafood market. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the service is perfect. Overall good. The only drawback is probably that wifi is too slow. US apps such as Netflix are fine, but normal Chinese ones such as WeChat or using a laptop to go online are very slow. This network really makes me uncomfortable, choking people who have not bought a card in the United States ...

I want to publicly thank the amazing staff here who made my month-long stay wonderful! Bryan, Melvin, Mohamed, all the valet crew, Chris, Faisal, Markos, Cecilie, and the front desk staff. Belinda at the front desk was such a sweetheart and so much fun to talk to. Her outfits are on point, too! Everyone was kind, quick to help, always asked how I was doing, always with a smile, and it felt really nice to be able to say hi to everyone day in and day out during my stay. The hotel amenities are terrific. The gym is has treadmills, a Peleton, weights, a bike, and an elliptical machine. (My only suggestion is to make sure the equipment is calibrated correctly). The happy hour each night is perfect for when I return from work (5-6pm). There is coffee in the morning starting at 6:30 am. I also brought my cat with me for the entire month and she got to walk around the hotel and check out everything. She was a big hit with the guests! This is the friendliest hotel and the only hotel I will stay in when I come to D.C. For those of you who stay on the 2nd floor, you may see these little doors along the hallway. They look like magical Alice in Wonderland doors. I found out they are just sprinklers/valves in there (sorry to ruin the magic ;) ). I am sad to leave D.C. and really sad to leave Kimpton. Thank you for the excellent customer service and for all your kindness!

Pretty good hotel. I like the restaurant downstairs called Hekou. I still miss that pepper, green, not spicy, one bite, wrapped in cheese. . And that shower gel is called Shanghai Beach, but it says shanghaitang in English, it feels misspelled, hehe

Please note my review relates to our stay in mid July 2022. Still in renovation mode, although we weren’t disturbed by any work. We had a double room that comprised of a seating area, kitchenette, standard bathroom, and 2 small double beds. Unfortunately the hotel’s situation and design is unfortunate. Our room on the 5th floor had a window to the front looking into the hallway and the a window at the back that looked straight at the building next door so we had no natural light and worse still there were few lights in the room making it pretty dingy. Shower was not as powerful as hoped. The toilet looks like it was kept from the pre-renovated room. We also received a hotchpotch set of toiletries, suggesting they were left over from pre-reno. Breakfast was the glummest breakfast experience I have ever had stuck down in the windowless, dingy conference space. Food was dull and tasteless and thankfully complimentary. However, all that said it was clean and comfortable enough as a base for a 2 night stay in Washington to see the sites.

Hotel location is good, convenient to major attractions, there are connected rooms, family stay is very convenient. There are also some celebrity restaurants around, which can be reached on foot. There is a parking service, $ 63, a bit expensive. At that time, because the surroundings were unfamiliar, I gave the car directly to the doorman. Later, I went out to eat and found that there is a parking lot less than 30 meters away from the hotel.

In order to visit the national mall and everything around it, the location became the top priority. Yes, you can walk to these places. The room is really small, considering the location and price, the price is good. Stop at the underground of the opposite mall, 25 dollars a day, first go to the front desk to pay, and then print a ticket for you. Except for the small refrigerator inside the room, everything else is available. Recommend it!

The hotel is just across the White House, from the Intercontinental of New York to Washington, Washington's Intercontinental is better than New York. It is also an old building. Everywhere, the history is frozen. The room is bigger than the intercontinental of Manhattan. The style is the same as that of the place. Classical luxury style. The breakfast is similar to the one there. It is a simple self-service style. The old American hotel is not as rich as the domestic hotel buffet breakfast. Most of them are based on simple basic needs.

The hotel rooms are large and the location is good, not far from the attractions. We went on Thanksgiving and there were few people. Unfortunately, many restaurants were closed that day. Fortunately, whole food is not far away, you can only buy something there to eat. Because it is a suite, there is a kitchen in the room, and there are all utensils. When I go next time, I will bring some ingredients to burn.

Had a short but pleasant stay in DC at this hotel. It’s very modern and decorated in a pleasant clean and efficient style. Room was spacious with comfortable beds and Netflix ready tv. The rain shower had good pressure and large supply of shampoo conditioner etc. There is valet parking but we opted for the much more economic parking across the street at Wholefoods. Location was convenient to the capital and eateries such as Ámbar Capitol Hill. The restaurant in the 11th floor has great views of the capital and a great spot for breakfast. The buffet breakfast is $20 per person and the limited selection is made up by the view and great coffee with scone.

The location is excellent, in the dock area, it seems to be the local high-end living and entertainment area, the restaurants are relatively high-end. The night view is not bad. The hotel is very new, the door is small, the lobby needs to take the elevator to the second floor. The room is large, the health is good, and the view is good. The only downside is that the water in the faucet is not very clean at first, so it will be fine for a while.

The hotel is in a very good location, 15 minutes walk to the Capitol, 5 minutes from the Space Museum and 10 minutes from the Natural Museum. There is no way to comment on the hotel breakfast. There is Starbucks in the downstairs lobby, two sandwich restaurants next to it, and a McDonald's. There is a simple Korean meal for ten minutes. Eating is very convenient. There is a small convenience store in the hotel lobby. There is a supermarket next to it, but it is closed at five o'clock at nine o'clock, which is useless for early return. Brought two children to stay, no extra cost. Of all the wonderful things that RCDC has to offer, the most noteworthy thing for us is the staff at the Club Lounge. All staff members did an excellent job; particularly worth mentioning for their service are Jenny, Nayana and especially Kathy Turner. We are also especially grateful to Fatiha, also at the Club Lounge. We like to read a paper copy of The New York Times on Sunday mornings; when none was available, she or somebody else may have gone across the street and purchased one specifically for us, probably from the pharmacy. We especially appreciated the array of options offered at the presentations in the Club Lounge. We have visited many of Club Lounges throughout the RC array of properties and these offerings were certainly among the best. Particularly wonderful were the evening desserts prepared by the Pastry Chef, Patricia Serryburton. Most of the offerings were amazing; a few were knock-outs (that’s a compliment). All were beautifully presented. This is a fine hotel; for those who want the addition of the Club Lounge as part of their experience, we recommend the Club enthusiastically. It’s great to have the extra space just to relax, meet friends, read, or whatever—well worth the extra expense. And, with a dedicated staff like the one described above, this Club is hard to beat.

Not staying at other hotels in Washington, may not be objective. This is THE hostel of Washington, DC. The location, architecture, interior, atmosphere and the crowd and crew are perfectly appointed for a fun, hipster, and budget-conscious elopements in the nation's capital. It's the very idea of futuristic America. It's like visiting London, Amsterdam, Tokyo, New York, and International Space Station all at once. I encourage every visitor to DC who is not foreign to hostel/auberge de jeunesse concept to venture out to explore this establishment and the richness of the neighborhood--that still remains a neighborhood in defiance of aggressive gentrification all around. So support this neighborhood in every way YOU can! PS: its located on the same Metro Line as DCA airport and the Maitre d'Hôtel Dmitri runs the place like a tight ship while keeping it fun. What more can anyone ask for?

The hotel is in a university, the university environment is very good, everywhere is quiet. Room facilities are relatively simple, free mineral water is not provided, but there are machines selling snacks. The waiter attitude was ok. There is a free shuttle bus to and from the hotel and Union Station every 15 minutes. The car is located at the 50th parking lot downstairs. If it's called Lyft (cheaper than Uber), you need to enter the hotel name, don't enter the address, or the driver will stop at the entrance of the university, and it will be a little far away. The most annoying thing this time is Ctrip. It was obviously a single bed, but got a double bed. Anyway, the rooms booked by Ctrip for the entire North American trip are singles and doubles, everyone should confirm more.

Our recent stay at this sophisticated, non-touristy oasis clinched its status as our new go-to hotel in DC. Our room was spacious and attractive, the bathroom featured the best rain shower on the planet, and the staff was professional and friendly. Breakfast was excellent and calm (no easy-listening music or screaming kids). We particularly enjoyed our several interactions with the highly personable concierge Romaine. The double bed room was not enough, so I spent 60 dollars per night to upgrade the room. I clearly gave three breakfast vouchers. As a result, when I arrived at the restaurant, I added 7 dollars per person. The breakfast type was very small. No, only bread and fruits, cold meals. Adding seven dollars also adds two or three more. After breakfast, the service fee is recommended. Five knives are recommended. Overall breakfast was average. I chose the AC DC Downtown as the base for my travels within the nation’s capital back in July 2020. The location is absolutely unbeatable, as everything you’d need for a fulfilling DC adventure is no further than a few blocks. I appreciated my stay at this AC property and consider it to be worthy of four stars, but I hope to see improvements on just a few small aspects of my experience for next time. I should begin with the highest compliments to the staff; they were kind and attentive to all my needs. They worked to ensure I had a room facing the interior courtyard space, rather than the street, which is always a preference for me. A few guests in an adjacent room to mine were hard at work partying or goofing off or whatever, blasting loud music at around one in the morning (when I arrived after my late-night flight), and the night auditor quickly phoned that room to make them aware of their excessive noise. It stopped within minutes. And when I had to check-out early the next morning instead of stay one more night, my reservation was edited professionally and without hassle. Bravo to the staff! (Moreover, I also wish to shout-out managers Donald LeCompte and Leroy Turnquest for personally following up via email on my stay—I could tell they cared about guests’ experiences and how to best serve them again in the future. Much appreciated to receive these messages!) Now I wanna sort of sway into the aspects of my time at the AC I would’ve enjoyed better had just a few tiny improvements been made—and much of this can stem from my proactivity next visit. The rooms were COVID-clean, comfy, and very quiet from the outside air/sky/atmosphere, but their functionality was a bit questionable. I realize ACs are geared toward shorter, urban-focused stays during which the idea of a hotel isn’t as paramount, but I would’ve loved to utilize larger bedside tables/stands and more spacious walkways. If I remember correctly, I was specifically given a mobility-accessible room, which is basically false advertising for wheelchair-bound folks. For me, I managed since I can walk just fine inside my room and park my chair elsewhere, but I always try to be a voice for the disability community—please reconsider the choice to label this room as accessible if the space can’t be expanded to ADA standards. In general, I wasn’t too impressed with functionality, but I managed fine when I spent the night. Additionally, the noise from adjoining rooms is incredibly amplified. Next time I come, I will ask to sleep in a room around which no other guests are staying. I know how tough it is to fix the mechanics and structure of a big building, and I know nothing can ever be perfect, but I still desire to do my part by asking to avoid others to ensure my stay is more private and relaxed in the future. It is true I’ve dedicated a significant portion of this review to describing negatives, but please please trust me that my rating of four stars still stands. I recognize that the ma
