Me and my fiancé have stayed here 3 times now and got engaged here a couple of years ago. It’s an incredibly beautiful hotel, charming and quirky, every room we have stayed in has been totally different. The staff are always friendly and polite, and the rooms are always very clean. Highly recommend booking a room with a bath! We will be staying here for our wedding night, if we hadn’t already booked a wedding venue we would have also booked this hotel for the whole wedding.

Had the pleasure of looking round the leisure and spa facilities at The Waterside Hotel the other day. Alex showed us around, he was extremely welcoming and informative. He took the time to show us around and explain all of the facilities to us (there’s so much available and so much space so there was a lot to see!) including all the changes that have been made to make the venue Covid safe. I particularly liked that the gym had lots of different areas to it rather than one large intimidating space as can be the case with other gyms. We had looked around another premium gym in the area and found that The Waterside really had the wow factor so decided to sign up straight away. Beautiful pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi all now open again after initial covid reopening restrictions. I’m particularly impressed with that the leisure centre has a separate ladies gym accessed through the changing rooms but the main gym area also had a very friendly non-intimidating feel to it also. And the gym being open 24 hours is amazing and means I have no excuses to not go! Excited to try some of the classes (of which there’s a great variety) getting involved with the SWIMTAG system of monitoring swimming. And learning more about the Mywellness system that’s all linked through the fancy Waterside app. I’m really looking forward to my gym visits now... and not just because I plan to watch Netflix on the treadmills then have a pint in the bar after(although let’s face it it’s an added bonus of joining a luxury facility like this).

Reliable Premier Inn - good value, easy parking and great accessibility from M6, M56 etc. Close to Burton Road shops and bars, also close to tram link for central Manchester. Stayed here for Friday and Saturday nights while visiting son who is studying at Manchester University. On site dining available, but the hotel is only a fifteen minute stroll from the shops, bars and restaurants of Burton Road.

Arrived here not expecting much as I hadn't booked it however on entering our room I was pleasantly surprised. We booked the deluxe family room which had 2 doubles in. On walking in it was clean and spacious, and the way it's design allows for you to set up a snack, drinks area while your getting ready. There were enough sockets to ensure you could charge phones, pop a speaker in and curl your hair at the same time. We had the first floor to ourselves so the bathroom was pretty much ours. The owners were very good too. The toilet kept flowing up so we rang and they fixed it, it was a bit cold in our room and they fixed it. Nothing was too much, they even gave us a later check out time because we explained we'd be drinking and we'd still have alcohol in our systems too early. I would definitely recommend and use them again.

I stayed at this hotel in the second year, and the experience is still very good, except for breakfast, some varieties have been adjusted. The staff are very friendly. I saw a lot of foreigners at breakfast, and there were also a few Chinese people. It is estimated that like us, we all came to see the children studying abroad and spent the Spring Festival. The best thing is that the kitchen facilities and utensils in the room are complete, as well as the dishwasher. The self-service laundry room is also very good, convenient for washing and drying. I went to Bath for a day on the weekend. When I came back in the evening, I gave the room closest to me at the time of check-in. The room was smaller, with a smaller couch and a narrower bed. Upgraded to suites by adding 40 pounds a day, there is a hall of nearly 20 square meters, very spacious.

Honestly, this place sent my anxiety through the roof. I walked into the room, and the bed was in a used state, bedding all askew, hair all on the bed, used towels on the bed and the table, as well as a gas cannister that I am informed that people use for substances to get high. No one had checked the room before my arrival clearly. When I contacted the property, they said sorry it was in that state and asked why I hadn't informed them so they could rectify the situation, but having PTSD and anxiety I just had to leave and inform them when I had arrived somewhere I felt safe. This was the last I heard. Not even an apology that it had affected me in such a way, or to let me know that staff would be spoken to in order to ensure that this didn't happen again. The site I used to book contacted me days later to see if I was happy with the response and see if things had been resolved between myself and the property. To this I said no I am not happy. No apology for how it had affected my anxiety finding a room with used drug equipment in it, and considering that I had to the spend 4 times as much for another room elsewhere, not to mention the cost of taxis to get me back to the city centre and back to that area in the morning for the reason I was there, I didn't think that a refund was an unreasonable request, but neither an apology or refund has been offered.

The location is right next to the University of Manchester Business School. It is very convenient to send children to book a hotel, and breakfast is one of the best in the British hotels I have stayed in. The first day the children went to school to almost 2 o'clock, the delay was Room time, but the hotel does not charge more, as appropriate, the hotel has a gym, floor-to-ceiling windows can see students coming in and out of the campus feels good, it is worth recommending to Manchester University parents! The biggest advantage is that it is very close to the Old Trafford stadium. It takes about 10 minutes to walk. It is very easy to find. The hotel reception will give you a free 20% discount coupon for Old Trafford Stadium tickets. However, the location of the hotel is somewhat remote, a bit far from the city, and there are not many surrounding facilities. Dinner is directly settled in the hotel. Fortunately, the traffic is still relatively convenient, there is a METROLINK platform to and from the city next to it, about 5 stops from the downtown area.

Location is great for what I needed, but the hotel itself was very poor. Overwhelming bad smell throughout the hotel. Unsavoury characters just hanging about and not much staff around to move them along. Room was average, again really bad smell throughout the whole place. Walls are thin. Guests next door had obviously fallen out and were keen on letting everyone know for the majority of the night. (Understand Travelodge cannot help this!) Shower was awful, didn't even bother as the pressure and condition was so poor. For what I paid, it did the job but certainly won't be staying again.

The room itself was nice and clean. Reception basically can not see people, wifi password can not find people to ask. I heard loud noises from next door from 8:00 to 8:00 in the morning. The whole hotel is very abnormal, giving people a very unsafe feeling. Downstairs is the flagship store of gay bar street.

We stayed for 2 days while we were here for work. The room was dirty when we arrived and very noise. First night here (a work night) there was a bright green light on the ceiling which stopped either of us sleeping, when we asked reception if there was any help they told us it was a health and safety necessity and that the room was badly designed but essential to leave the light on. I figured out if I slept the wrong way rough with the bathroom door open I could block out some of the light, but ultimately it kept us both awake. On top of that the room was unseasonably hot with no aircon options, only a very loud air vent. The second night the room next to us insisted on having a late night party from 3-6am, while we knew there would be some noise based on the location nothing prepared us for this level of disruption and noise. To add to this there were basic utilities missing - water glasses, a toilet brush, towel hanging facilities, all of which Added to a truly unforgettable stay - and all for the wrong reasons. The walls where marked the ya le was dusty and not clean and there were visible marks /dirt in the bedding. The staff were friendly but clearly had no ability to help or improve the visitors stay.

The location is very good, Manchester City Centre, straight to the center Piccadilly Gardens. Less than 10 minutes walk to Piccadilly train station, surrounded by many shopping centers and shops, restaurants. The service staff is very good. Note that you can only check in after 2 pm, and it’s too early to discuss. You can temporarily leave your luggage, go shopping and come back to check in. The room decoration is relatively new, clean and hygienic, modern in style, complete in facilities, convenient for WIFI.

So Saturday when we checked in to the hotel there was no hot water in room 106. When I went to reception they said to leave it running for 10mins and it will work. That didn’t work so they changed us to room 110, where the water was lukewarm at best, but better than the previous room. Next morning in the new room, ran the shower for about half an hour and still wasn’t hot so just gave up and went to shower at a friends. Third day, switched on the water around 0720, and at 0815 it was still not hot, I called in one of the cleaners from the hallway who came in and confirmed it was not hot. He tried to put me in a different room but the water wasn’t hot in that room either but he said was my only option so I asked to speak to a manager and said the manager doesn’t start till 1100. I then called the emergency number, and the person on the phone said I must be wrong as they have never had a problem with the hot water in that room. He then came to my door, in a pair of joggers and a vest and said he was the manager. He put his hand under the shower and said the water is hot and turn around to walk out. When I say it was not hot enough we ended up in a shouting match, he called me all sorts of names, said I wasn’t ok in the head, and a very stupid woman if I wanted to shower my 4 year old in hot water because I could burn her. He then asked if I was checking out that day because if I wasn’t then he would throw me out of the hotel. When I asked if booking.com knew that’s how he spoke to customers he said that he would get me blocked from booking.com because I’m very stupid. He then turned around and slammed the door in my face. This all happened at the door to my room so my 4 year who had been asleep was startled awake.

We had decided to get away for 1 night before lockdown and hubby had holidays to take so rang up and checked that it was ok as we were leaving the morning of the day before lockdown 2 and from nearby and it was fine yes. So we booked for 1 night with meal package which was breakfast in the morning and the evening before a 2 course meal with drink. There is a beefeater next door so that is where the meals are served. We had to book for the evening meal and breakfast and so our evening meal was at 5.15pm and breakfast at 8am. I will review the beefeater separately, but it was very good value to add onto your room booking. The hotel was very comfortable and plenty of parking and covid measures were good. So nice night away and walking around Heaton Park which is very close by.

Really nice to see the hotel maintaining the standards set from my last visit in August when I visited with my fiancé. I returned this month for work and the staff have been lovely and the hotel is very clean and fresh which is very reassuring. It was really nice of Callum to have remembered me from my last visit as I’m sure many guests have passed through. Callum again was very helpful which was very refreshing especially at the moment where many people don’t want to give the time to be helpful. Looking forward to my next visit to Manchester and my next stay here.

In Birmingham, this is also the home. The structure of Manchester City is twice as expensive as that of Birmingham. I didn’t understand what was going on. I thought I booked for two nights. It was only after I found out that it was only one night’s price, mainly not Soundproofing, sleepless at night, there has been a noise outside, and I won’t stay here next time.

Check in was relatively straight forward. Was offered an upgrade to executive for £20. Had to pay this in cash - wasn’t sure why. Having read the description of executive room I wasn’t convinced I’d got this but for being on floor 12 rather than 5 was ok. Websites say executive should have sky, dishwasher, larger bed. Didn’t get this so think descriptions might need to be updated. It’s nice to have a separate living room and bedroom when you’re on a city break and price was slightly less than 4 star hotels nearby. Shower screen needs to be looked at as just let’s water through it and soaks the floor. Lots of usb points. Plugs in the bedroom above bedside table can’t be used as there’s not enough space for the wire underneath. Great views over the city. Lots of development round about so in a few years will be a better area. Not the most comfortable - sofa and bed quite hard so I couldn’t have stayed for more than a couple of nights. Hard wearing for longer stays, maybe more concern for keeping furniture rather than comfort of guest.

Living in the first floor, the interior decoration is very unsuitable for the Chinese. The bed shelves are carved up and down, left and right, and the characters on the side of the bed. There is also a large mirror on the side of the bed. The left and right sides of the hotel are all bars and restaurants. It will not stop before 3am, especially the sound of drumming, although the sound is not loud, but the rhythm is similar to the heartbeat, which seriously affects the rest. Fortunately, the front desk service attitude is still very good, but also presented early, otherwise the shadow area is bigger.

The location of the hotel is close to the Central Museum and the Municipal Office. The appearance is very beautiful. The guard is a handsome grandfather. I asked for a higher level of living. I gave it six floors, clean and tidy. Both beds have rounds and can be easily combined. Separate, safe, free mineral water, glass bottled, considering the possibility of recycling bottles, so no use, toiletries, but no slippers, Ctrip booked in advance and paid the full amount, no resistance at all, cost-effective high. There are almost no Chinese, only a team of Air China flight attendants are resting in the hall. The hotel will turn right and there will be a full-day pizza shop, 8 fat 8 inches, live production, convenience store feels closed at 8 or 9 o'clock in the evening, overall I am very satisfied

In the future, I hope to note the floor and other details in the basic situation of the room. When I arrived at the hotel, I first gave a room on the LG floor. The hygiene of the room was unsatisfactory. The window was almost against the wall, and there was only one corner to see the light. You can see that the railway was above. The train was passing loudly and sleeping Bad people must not live in such a room. At four o'clock in the afternoon, I was still confused about jet lag. I was scared by the sharp alarm sound, which lasted for tens of seconds. No one came to see it. Then the alarm sounded again for several seconds. So I could n’t bear to change the room. When I asked about the alarm, I said there was no problem. I did n’t explain the reason. I explained the reason for the change. The hotel had a good attitude. I took someone to take a look at a room on the second floor. , Meaning disabled people can use it, there is no bathtub. Decided to change rooms, afraid of staying downstairs and running out of problems. The newly changed rooms are generally good, but they are ridiculously high and live a bit unaccustomed to living. The room is equipped with some snacks such as fries, popcorn and chocolate, which is considered intimate.

This hotel is great and in a good location, within a 10-minute walk to the Adele Shopping Centre. Opposite is a theater. When I arrived, I lined up for a concert. It seemed like a concert. Parking is very close to the hotel, the front desk will give you a map and be patient. It is a bit expensive, 25 fat 24 hours, but there are 10 fat people and 7 fat parking lot around, I have not stopped, if you have time, you can consider. Our two adults have a five-year-old child, no extra bed, no problem in the big bed room. The room is large, the bed is large, and the bathroom is wet and dry. Breakfast is unmatched by many express hotels and hotel chains. The juice is freshly squeezed, the slices of bread are served with the waiter, and they are baked and brought to you. If you come to Manchester United, I really recommend this store, the price is fixed in advance, not expensive.

Good location, on Oxford Road, a hotel for children to book, very convenient between university and Chinatown, stay 5 nights, but the breakfast is scary, every day is the same, although the breakfast in every British hotel is surprisingly consistent However, there is no hardest food but only harder food. The child did not eat after eating two mouthfuls. I also eat with my breath closed, but I really do n’t want to eat it on the third day, and I wasted my breakfast money. Luggage can only be stored on the same day. If I live the next day, it will not be stored. It is not user-friendly, and I was busy packing 4 boxes of luggage. This hotel is rated #1 in Manchester on Trip Advisor and they deserve it! Hotel: very very luxurious with every detail thought of (even down to detail in the lifts!), extremely clean, staff so welcoming and friendly, location is perfect near Piccadilly station, two car parks 30 seconds walk (£15 for 24 hours) or on-site parking too. We had a Signature Suite, huge bedroom/seating area, bed could easily fit 4 people in, lovely lit up wardrobe with plenty of space, desk/dressing area and also a sofa & chair and table, the suite also had 2 bathrooms! The air con worked amazing. Huge heavy wooden & glass oriental style sliding doors separated the different areas of the suite which was another touch of luxury not just basic doors. Room was extremely clean and had a ripping sticker on the door when waking in so you know it was freshly sanitised too. One bathroom had a free standing bath and dressing area and the other with a shower which was also a mini steam room with seat inside and heated flooring. Everything was thought of - room included Bulgari toiletries and Dakota toiletries (both great quality and triple the size of other hotels toiletries), slippers & robe, Nespresso machine & pods, regular coffee packets & tea too, complimentary stocked mini bar, full Sky TV package. I believe the complementary mini bar and robes are only in the Suites but available on request, either way this wouldn’t make or break the experience! In the morning we had breakfast delivered to our room (Tier 3 when visiting so restaurant was closed for dining in) we paid £15pp and had huge tray of food brought to us. 2x everything - sausage sandwiches, fruit pots, croissants, pain au chocolats, granola with yoghurt and orange juice. It’s like the breakfast buffet came to us. Would highly recommend staying in this hotel if you are visiting Manchester!! We will definitely be coming back once restrictions are lifted so we can experience the Dakota restaurant & grill and stay over again.

Stayed here with my mother for a short break at the beginning of October. Both rooms were excellent, comfortable and quiet, particularly the accessible room that my mother had and both rooms met our needs for our two night stay. Excellent service from the staff as always. Hotel is ideally located for central Manchester. The only gripe I have is that there is no disabled parking at the hotel - parking is in one of the nearby NCP car parks. There was also no drop off point where I could have got my mother into the hotel while I then parked and brought our luggage. It is for that reason that we probably would stay at another hotel when visiting the area in future.
