Terrible experience. There is never anyone at the reception and they charge you what they want. They charged us 20 percent more than our reservation and they don't want to give it back. The staff is very rude. Our room had the beds wedged between two walls, so it was very difficult to enter and the bathtub in the living room. One of the worst places I've ever been. Don't spoil your stay in such a beautiful city by staying in such an unpleasant place.

If you wish to be cheated, visit this hotel and let yourself feel like a fool. Briefly, the hotel was very nice. The staff at the reception was friendly and cooperative, accommodation perfect as expected, breakfast deserve an update, coffee was terrible. Unfortunately, the owner has increased the price for the room after our stay, which we found out from the invoice during the payment. The room we reserved is standardly offered cheaper approx. CZK 1000 per night, compared to the price we were forced to pay. I tried to chat with the owner but was disappointed with such arrogant communication where the owner blamed me for being a liar.

The hotel staff are very friendly. There are tall handsome guys to help carry boxes on the first day and when they leave on the second day. The breakfast is also very warm. You can also choose cooked food and coffee. The whole style is very Mediterranean. We also gave us the hotel door. The key, if you come back late, you can open the door yourself, and teach us how to lock the door of the room with enthusiasm. The room is very clean and spacious, and the toilet is decorated in a simple and comfortable way. I hope I can go there again.

This newly renovated hotel has beautiful common rooms. Our room for 3 nights, 111, was sandwiched between two really nice suites. Room was okay with heavy wooden furniture. Window was high up the wall so unable to open. Bathroom is ultra modern but we only had a deep bathtub with a handheld shower head. Water went everywhere as there was no curtain or screen. Bathroom floor and towel rack was heated. The suites got coffee service but our double room had none. We did ask our guide for a kettle and teabags which we did get, but housekeeping never brought more after the first night. There was a radiator near the bed, but we found the room hot. Luckily we had a portable fan to use. Breakfast area is really small with limited options. Coffee machine only made espresso or cappuccino. Location was convenient for exploring the town. If you have a choice when reserving, go for one of the suites.

Future guests please beware of this property and the couple that own it. They are extremely prejudice. I went in trying to book a room and I wanted to use chase travel points, as we are low on funds. I tried telling the owner that and he said “no only cash”... he wasn’t understanding, so I wrote it out in google translate, but the whole time the guy had an attitude with me, in the mean time, a man came in and they spoke and laughed and everything was fine, so I told him (over google translate) that it would be nice if he was just as friendly to someone that speaks English as he was to him. And I said that very nicely and mildly. He then opens up the counter in front of his desks and starts to push me out of his house, shocked, I said “Hey?? don’t push me??” And i did nothing in return, like push back or anything, as I don’t believe in retaliation, and THEN HE SHOVED ME SO HARD that my arm hurts and before he could get any more angry and violent, I walked quickly off his property, literally this is the whole side of it. I didn’t reply angrily, I didn’t push back or even give a few choice words or fingers... I did nothing of the sort. And this is how he treated me... just WOW!!!

We stayed at this gem for three nights. Everything was perfect- clean and big rooms. The girl that checked us in was SO friendly, beautiful and helpful. She advised restaurants,and places to see and visit. Just outside the pension is a outside place serving hot wine, deserts, cookies etc. The Christmas market is not even 3 minutes walk away, atm across the road. It is also very quiet at night. This is probably our favorite place that we stayed at during our Europe trip.

Our clients and I stayed in this hotel for one night in mid-May. The hotel charged us 2,400 CZK per single room (about $110), i.e. a 4-star hotel price in Prague. When we got in the rooms, there were cobwebs and dust in many places, some lightbulbs were not working. Our bathroom had hair on the floor… But the worst was yet to come. We were supposed to have a breakfast the next morning at 8 a.m. When I got downstairs a little after eight, our clients were standing there, completely in shock. The dinning room was dark and no breakfast was ready. I went in and found a sleeping waiter on the floor of the dinning room. When I eventually managed to wake him up, he seamed quite hungover and not exactly in the best shape. Since some of our clients stayed in Hotel Peregrin (the same management), we managed to get our clients there and they got some breakfast (mostly whatever was left from the guests in that hotel). When I wrote the owner/manager of the place a couple of days later, she refused to give us any money back, basically saying that we got the service we needed, i.e. a bed and a breakfast, even if it was “complicated”. Apparently, this is how these people imagine services should be in a place where they charge 4-star hotel prices. Absolutely terrible, I have never experienced such bad services and such terrible attitude. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS by staying at their hotel!

The location is great in the town center. It is easy to access river and castle in few minutes walking distance. The room, bed, bathroom and all accommodations were great and clean. The breakfast was very good included in the price. The staffs were very helpful with smile all the time. For people who drive car there, you need a permission ticket (100czk) to drive into the town for loading/unloading the luggage. And it's cheaper to buy the parking ticket (200-250czk) in the hotel and park wherever they have contract with.

The hotel’s facilities are simple and clean, you just need to bring your own toiletries. The hotel is located by the river and the owner is very nice. He introduced us to the best local restaurants with low prices. The breakfast next door to the hotel is very delicious. The store is small but very good. Comfortable, fresh food, especially the homemade strawberry jam is very delicious, the hotel will give a discount card of 100 crowns (for breakfast).

When stepping up the spiral stairs, we immediately loved the apartment. It’s well designed and decorated. Every spot looks so thoughtful. The room is beautiful. Spacial, super clean, nice furniture, kitchen facilities… Looking out from the window, fantastic view! Sorry I should mention at the beginning, the staff who served our check in, was so nice, helpful. She offered us a paper map, briefed the key tourist information of the day. We wish we could have planned for a longer stay here.

This place was absolutely perfect. Three of us stayed for a night and couldn’t have asked for more. A nice guy checked us in and gave us all the info we needed for our stay. Our room was authentic and spacious and comfortable and had a view of the castle. Breakfast was marvelous. Everything you want to see is within a five or ten minute walk at most. We generally stay at five star hotels(look at other reviews) and this place is a hidden gem.

A very satisfying hotel. The lobby is like an ancient castle. People can sit in the windows of the room and say hello to passersby🙋♀️. The bathroom is bright and spacious, with 🛁, the toiletries are L'Occitane, and the Wi-Fi signal 📶 is strong. All attractions are within walking distance. If you walk from the bus terminal, there is a certain distance, which takes about 12-15 minutes. There are slopes and stairs in some sections.

The hotel is in a good location, very close to the entrance of the town, from the bus stop to the entrance to the town. Be aware that there is a step where you can get down to the river. We didn't find the path at the time, went to the town and went around, and the stone road dragged the suitcase is too sinful! We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Cesky Krumlov. As a family of 5 it’s hard to find reasonable, centrally located accommodations in Europe. We arrived after hours but arranged for them to leave the keys in the mailbox for us. The room had a double bed, a fold-out double couch, and a double bed in the loft. There was an included kitchen which was great for heating up leftovers or having a late night cup of tea or a local beer. Breakfast was included which was great. There was a playground on site, which our kids loved. The hotel was a short 10 minute walk to town which made it perfect for us in terms of cleanliness, location, and space. Remember to bring your own toiletries when traveling in Europe. Highly recommend this cute hotel!

The town is beautiful. The hotel is lovely. I walked in so excited to be there. The staff was checking people out so I waited. When it was my turn I asked to just store my luggage as it was too early for check in. She snapped at me that I shouldn’t have come during check in and if I wanted to see the town that day I should have booked the previous night. I was so sad. I ended up taking my luggage and getting lunch next store (it was 10:40, not like it was 7am.) I took the bus from Linz so I didn’t get to choose my arrival. Also there were silver fish bugs in the bathroom as other reviews have noted. Finally the card with the keys says breakfast is 6:30. I waited until 6:30 and was again snapped at that it’s 7. Then 10 minutes later they let other guests in. Room and view were lovely as were some staff, but I’ve honestly never felt so unwelcome and couldn’t wait to leave.

We stayed in Depandance Edward Kelly, room No.10 in attic. The room corresponded to the photos, clean and tidy, very large and beautiful. There is a cafe downstairs (not part of the hotel) with great coffee, good desserts and amazing view to the river/castle. But here the positives end. The breakfast shocked us. What a difference between how the hotel looks/costs and what they offered for breakfast (+ how it is presented) surprised. In a village guesthouse I would somehow expect, in a campsite on the Vltava River I understood. But in this hotel? Poor quality, insufficient quantity, not continuously replenished. Breakfast = BIG FAILURE. Considering the price of the hotel, you feel ripped off. You could stay in the hotel, but for breakfast go somewhere else. (Anywhere)

The host is very nice and helpful.He pick us up at the bus station at the first day even also take us back to the bus station when we left. The room is so comfortable, clean, warm and beautiful. We like the pink colour style and also provide free fruit and bottle of water for us. Everything is good and the location is nearby the restaurants and shops which is so convenient. We have great time here. If we come back later, we probably will book here again.

I stayed at my favorite hotel on this trip. Although it is 7-8 minutes away from the town, it saves the trouble of pushing luggage on the stone road. The hotel is small and exquisite. The Krumlov Tower is such a unique place to stay and at a reasonable price. The check-in process was very easy and the hosts are very accommodating. The breakfast we were provided was a very generous portion and the location cannot be beaten with the brewery right across the street, as well as a place to rent rafts during the summer on the other side. It is a quick walk to the castle and to the center of the city. We traveled by train so we arranged for a taxi to take us from the train station to the accommodation which was 100CZK one way, otherwise it is a 20 minute walk downhill on the way to the accommodation. It could be a bit noisy at night due to a bar within close proximity that was playing loud music but this ended by 11PM/midnight. We were in the room on the first floor so we did not have to worry about carrying luggage up the stairs but it is something to be mindful of if traveling with large luggage. The hosts provided a guidebook with very interesting information about the history of the tower, as well as recommendations for places to eat, drink, etc. in the city which was very appreciated.

All My wife and I stayed here for three nights in mid-September, ‘22. We enjoyed it very much and recommend it highly. It is a classic old hotel set right on the river, just across from the picturesque castle. One of the town bridges is just in front of the hotel, and the street leads to the castle in one direction and to the main part of the old town in the other. We found the location to be very convenient. A short distance away is another bridge with a walkway that leads to one of the town parking areas. It would be possible to reach the hotel with a small amount of luggage, but we opted to park and walk to the hotel before obtaining a town pass to drive to the front of the hotel with our luggage. If you then choose one of the hotel’s private parking options, which we did, someone from the hotel will guide you in another vehicle to your parking area and bring you back to the hotel. Be aware that even with a town pass you can’t drive in town from 10 am to 3 pm, which can complicate departure as well as arrival. We arranged for a taxi to pick us up with our luggage and take us to our car when we checked out to get around this. Our room (401) was on the corner of the top floor and likely an upgrade from our castle-view room. It was a very large suite with a bedroom area, a sitting area, a separate room with closet and storage area, and a huge tiled-bathroom with an enclosed alcove for the toilet. We had terrific views of the town, the river, and the castle from every room. The sleeping area had a comfortable king bed, a desk, sofa, tv cabinet, small round table with two chairs, nicely decorated a classical style. There was a single cup coffee maker that was very good. The closet wqs large, but had only and few hangers and the safe wasn’t operable. The bathroom had a pedestal sink with adequate counter space, and a shower/tub combo. Our only complaint about the room was that there were no heat controls and it was unseasonably chilly during our visit. Breakfast was a very good buffet with lots of fruit, cereals, baked goods, eggs, breakfast meats, etc. All in all, we highly recommend the Dvorak for comfort, location, and character.

Very sweet pension, we had a very small and cozy room with refrigerator and clean bathroom. Price-performance ratio top. The owner/operator is very effortless and very sympathetic. Location perfect but something hidden in a small way that leads to the castle. There are also small snacks, coffee and drinks at a small price at the reception.

When I went from Prague, I thought about what to do from the bus terminal to the hotel because there was no taxi at the bus terminal of Chesky Kromlov. It was also troublesome to call a taxi and I found the hotel within walking distance from the bus terminal. After all, there was no suitable hotel near the end point bus terminal, so I decided to get off at the bus stop of spicaku in front of the end point and go to the hotel within walking distance from there I bought a bus ticket like that. When I actually got on, there were about one third of people who got off at Spicaku. Is it less than 10 minutes walk to the hotel on a smooth road? I think it's easy to understand because there is a big sign on the street. From the hotel to the castle parking lot is １－２ minutes. I think it is a good location for morning walks because you can go to the view point around the castle even in the early morning. The hotel itself is very normal, but the staff's English is easy to understand, WIFI is free, the hot water in the shower is full, and the breakfast was small, but overall, It was a very easy hotel. The electric kettle was freely lent. It seemed to be able to borrow a fan, but it was not hot, so I didn't use it.

We only had 1 night in Cesky Krumlov, unfortunately, but this was the perfect place to spend that one night/day. We stayed in Room 5 , which has a private balcony overlooking the castle with 2 chairs and a table, and is on the ground floor, with no stairs to go up or down. The apartment had 2 bedrooms, (we didnt ever look at the other one!) , a den, a bathroom, and another small room with another toilet. There was a sink and microwave in the den area, sofa, chairs, and the apartment was very spacious. You have to use the key after hours to enter the building since it is not staffed 24 hours, then use the key to enter your apartment, so coordinating the arrival time is important to get your keys. The balcony was the perfect setting for our take out pizza and bottle of wine. The apartment is very close to a drop off spot for shuttles, since car traffic is restricted during the day, so our walk was minimal from the drop off. The apartment is 30 second walk to the town square, and 2 seconds to the awesome Satlavske restaurant. We cant imagine a better place to stay.

The hotel is in ck town and is 100 meters away from the square in the center of the town. The room is my favorite style, all wood, floor creaking, very age-sensitive. The waiter said that the house was very old, so there was no elevator, but it was very intimate to help us take our luggage upstairs. Breakfast is simple but enough to eat, blueberry pizza is especially delicious 😋.

The location is great in the town center. It is easy to access river and castle in few minutes walking distance. The room, bed, bathroom and all accommodations were great and clean. The breakfast was very good included in the price. The staffs were very helpful with smile all the time. For people who drive car there, you need a permission ticket (100czk) to drive into the town for loading/unloading the luggage. And it's cheaper to buy the parking ticket (200-250czk) in the hotel and park wherever they have contract with.

The hotel staff are very friendly. There are tall handsome guys to help carry boxes on the first day and when they leave on the second day. The breakfast is also very warm. You can also choose cooked food and coffee. The whole style is very Mediterranean. We also gave us the hotel door. The key, if you come back late, you can open the door yourself, and teach us how to lock the door of the room with enthusiasm. The room is very clean and spacious, and the toilet is decorated in a simple and comfortable way. I hope I can go there again.

We stayed at this gem for three nights. Everything was perfect- clean and big rooms. The girl that checked us in was SO friendly, beautiful and helpful. She advised restaurants,and places to see and visit. Just outside the pension is a outside place serving hot wine, deserts, cookies etc. The Christmas market is not even 3 minutes walk away, atm across the road. It is also very quiet at night. This is probably our favorite place that we stayed at during our Europe trip.
