Because this trip was for three adults and one child, the goal of looking for a hotel from the beginning was a family suite. I accidentally found that the price of this apartment hotel was right and decided it decisively. Arrived at the shop near the early morning on the evening of March 16, and checked in at the front desk soon after checking the information. The next day I found that the hotel was downstairs to the Bencoolen subway station, and the entrance was the taxi waiting area. There was 7-11 downstairs, a large dining hall, easy to go out and easy to eat. There is a swimming pool on the roof and a children’s play area, which is very suitable for bringing children out.

They were able to prepare my room swiftly & even offered us to book a time slot for the swimming pool upstairs. The twin beds in the room was quite spacious & we had made good use of the appliances provided such as the water kettle, mini fridge, & hair dryer. Best of all was the bathtub, which was quite rare to find at its given price. I do recommend this place if you want to keep your budget affordable yet worth it.

the service was not that great, one of the staff was very rude and the service wasn’t that great because we were stopped after coming back from our outing to do some check in stuff again when it should have been done in the first round. we were already so tired but we even told the staff but the staff didn’t listen to what we were saying so we just follow through. other then that, the room was really spacious and for the price paid, it was totally worth it. the cleanliness was not that great because we found dirty things under our bed like used condom. we were really disturbed and disappointed by it. the amenities given by the hotel, like stuff in the fridge was free which was great. other then that, i’ll rate my stay in this hotel 6/10. it could have been better.

Room was only ready about 5.15pm probably due to holiday season crowd and possibly disinfectant procedure. Lobby was small with special wallpaper design. Room interior was nice, with dangling colorful ornament that looks like dreamcatcher. Tv position was a little too high. Shower felt abit tight too but the rainfall shower head was good. All in all it still works as a good night sleep hotel with lots of delicious food to choose from nearby. Not beside the mrt but all within short walk to raffles place, city hall, dhoby ghaut and of course it is in bugis itself. Will stay again if there's good offer!

Location is good to access any place of Singapore using public transportaion or by walk. The surrounding of hotel is musium, grand park and histric region, so spacious, clean and no noisy. Also facility(Gym, Swimming pool...) is common with YMCA, it is one of good point in this hotel. I would recommend this hotel and have a mind to book again in next visit. One thing to be careful is no sugar open in the room, it make to gather small ant near sugar open area such as candy, chokolate....

Staff were friendly upon entering the lobby. They guided us to do the SafeEntry and temperature check before checking in. Check in was really fast and smooth, though they only provided 1 room card so I had to ask for another one. The booked room was big enough for 3 of us, with the toilet being quite spacious too. The hallways were quite warm and stuffy but once you enter your room, you can adjust the air-con settings. Everything was clean and accessible, especially with a Korean mart next to the building and 7-11 directly opposite. We are very satisfied! 🤗

The location of the hotel is a great highlight. The most convenient way to get to and from the airport is to take the airport bus. The one-way only 9 new, but compared to the airport to the hotel, the return hotel to the airport is not easy to book, probably because of time and hotel routes. Therefore, I specially tried the subway to and from the airport. I feel that if I am not in a hurry, the subway is also very convenient. From the airport T4, first take the airport shuttle bus to T2 according to the instructions, then according to the MRT sign, take the airport to the EXPO connection line, then take the blue line for about 1 hour to the Little India subway station. 81 SELEGIE HOTEL walks 200 meters to the right hand side of the EXIT A exit of Little India Metro Station, then turn right at the traffic light intersection for 100 meters. Returning from the small Indian subway station, take the blue line to EXPO, then transfer to the airport connection line to T3, then transfer bus to T4, the whole journey is about one and a half hours

Excellent Scores: Location - very convenient as near to city centre, plus walking distance to three metro lines. Varieties food choices as eateries and food centres nearby with acceptable price tag. The building of this hotel looks presentable and well upkeep. Satisfied/Fair Scores: Services - Politeness and helpful Front Desk staffs . Efficient maintenance technician. Well upkeep to the Lifts lobby, Rooms corridor, and front entrance areas. Poor Scores: (1) Cleanliness - During our 5D4N stayed, there wasn’t any floor vacuum cleaning; wasn’t any toilet and basin washed; wasn’t any wipe to the tabletops and furniture; wasn’t any bed linen replaced; Replaced Towels were on requested plus needed a follow up calls to the Housekeeping . In the Room that we stayed, layer of dust on the tabletops and the tray for Cups/Glasses/Coffee/Tea; carpet flooring obviously covered with layer of dust; (2) Facilities - The sole eatery inside the hotel is situated beside the front desks lobby area, it’s a small place, and limited choice of food, not convenient during rainy season. We were looking for Hotel with Fitness facility in the search of the 5D4N Staycation. The Hotel Royal @Queens Street is one of the listed hotel. However, been told that the hotel fitness facility is closed due to the covid-19 pandemic safety measures, we have to look for fitness facilities outside the building. Would be appreciate if there is a folder on information about hotel facilities placed in the room.

I first stayed at the SEA Hotel back in 2014 as it was recommended by my aunt and uncle who always stay here when in Singapore. I love the place. It’s old and rustic (a throwback to another time) but for $100 SGD a night with a fabulous vegetarian buffet breakfast included (Kwan Im restaurant) and prime location in Bugis you couldn’t ask for anything more. Also when booking the staff are excellent in replying to queries and give very detailed information about getting to the hotel and airport transport options and nearby attractions. Free wifi was included and it was fast and reliable. The staff on the front desk were friendly especially the girl who checked me in. Bugis+ shopping mall (10 levels with cinemas, food/retail options galore and taxi rank) is less than 5 mins walk. I use this as a taxi pick up/drop off point to various attractions from the hotel. Bugis MRT Station is 5-10 mins walk and is on the airport line (10th station from the airport, with 1 change at Tanah Merah, cost only SGD 2.50) The Kwan Im Temple is right next door and worth checking out (it gets very busy with local worshippers). Directly outside is a pedestrian mall with a flurry of activity with market stalls and street vendors. The hotel is simple and rooms unadorned with only the basics but it’s all there and excellent value for money. They do request you leave your key if you go out and recollect (24 hour reception) but I conveniently forgot to do this most of the time and it was never a problem. Oh and don’t even think about bringing durians to the hotel!

I stayed in Ibis budget for three nights, and had a wonderful time. I checked in with Ellesha and she is a credit to the hotel, very professional. Room was overlooking the road and everything was working perfectly : from air conditioner to the equipment in the room. Bed was comfortable and all clean. I would also add that if you use Ibis budget in Europe, they do not provide as many things in the room compared with this, and also in my opinion the room was with enough space for me, I do not see all the complaints of not enough space for luggage. The hotel is situated ten minutes walk from Little India Station and also well connected with the main attractions. I had breakfast only once , which was with just few choices; to be honest it did not appeal to me, but I was happy anyway with all surrounded. I will definitely return if I am in Singapore. Thumbs-up for the Reception staff (excellent)!

I booked a room with only two beds because I was afraid of being noisy. However, I didn't expect the couple who came back after 11 o'clock to chat until 1 am. The room had only wooden boards, and the conversation was basically clear. Korean roommates were so noisy that they ran out. I wore headphones for a few hours without sleep, and my roommate came back at five or six in the morning, but it did n’t take long for the three sisters in the opposite room to start chatting and laughing early in the morning. The roommate was so angry that he went downstairs Room. He should have not slept all night. I only slept for three hours. I couldn't walk the next day and it was too sleepy to sleep all night. I know that this problem can't be blamed on the hotel. The poor guests next door are really abominable. The sound insulation of the room is really bad. I knew it would be like this, so why bother spending extra money to book a twin room, the Chase shop is cheaper. In short, my journey was ruined the next day, and it was better to die. I lay on the side of the road to sleep. The tidy part seemed to be okay, but my body was itchy all night, and I kept scratching it all night, like being bitten by a worm, I do n’t know if it was a flea.

Booked 3 rooms for family staycation. I would like to thank Ms Dillah and Mun kind assistance in arranging an earlier check-in for the 2 rooms. Front desk staff are all friendly and helpful. The room is spacious and clean. Water pressure of the bathroom is good! However, I was kind of disappointed that the club lounge did not open. Nevertheless, they do send food and drinks to our room at 6pm, and will refill our drink every 45mins. The lady that serve the drinks and the guy that serve the food was very nice and friendly. The food (chicken chop with truffle mash potatoe) is DELICIOUS, and the white wine (requested during 2nd serving) they offered is nice!!! But didn't had chance to ask what is the brand, as I left the room after 2nd serving. Not sure how long they serve the drink, I guess till 7:30pm? Great location, so we can easily bring our parents to Haji lane to walk around and feel as though we are on vacation. Ginger Restaurant decoration is lovely!!! But the breakfast serve at Ginger restaurant was pretty average to me... Wouldn't mind having as a package, but wouldn't pay the price for the kind of food serve. Service at the restaurant were much slower too as staff tend to look at the floor instead of the guest. But its CNY so I shall not comment much. But there's one aunty that serve food with big lovely smile. Its a petty that I didn't take note of her name. Overall experience staying in Park Royal Hotel Beach Road is good! Would definitely recommend if you are looking at staycation situated at convenience location filled with hipster cafe and nice restaurant.

Actually requested for highest floor with amazing view but they didn’t fulfil my request. It’s okay, they also mention to make advance booking for swimming pool and so we did, but pool is fully booked, felt so disappointed. During check in we try our luck again for the pool, lucky there is last 3 slot of us. Around 7pm went swimming, but no one was there. (Wonder why they say it’s fully book) 😕 In the afternoon try to make booking for pool again, again they say fully book. We didn’t bother to go down to check. Aside from that, we do appreciate the gifts that comes in the package that include late check out at 6pm, inclusive of breakfast and semi lunch buffet for 2 adults. Room was very spacious and clean. Overall we are happy with our stay there. Definitely we come again.

I booked for my fiancé's birthday and in lieu to celebrate New Years. Firstly, early check in was given as to prevent the crowd during the New Years Eve. Very smart move made by the hotel which I am very thankful for! It helps to control the crowd. Trip.com has emailed me to WhatsApp the hotel as were told by the hotel to request for early check in. Replies by the hotel staffs were fast too! After checking in, I called to reserve the pool but it was sad I could not go as it was raining! The room was rather small but that's fine by me! The shampoo and body wash given smells nice! I usually do not use hotel's shampoo/bodywash but this hotel's toiletries was quite nice! The view from the toiler was not bad too! You need to of course close the blind to have a private shower. Was given free macaroons delivered by the robots to my room as it was my fiancé's birthday! Super kind gesture made by the hotel staffs! We were super touched! The next day, when I went down to pick up my breakfast as I choose to take away(can select to dine in or take away), the staff could not find my breakfast order as my breakfast order was misplaced by one of the staffs (the one I gave my order sheet to) But that's okay because I did not mind waiting for them to pack my food again. I was also granted late check out! Overall, pleasant stay! The team was all very friendly and approachable. Thank you!

There was a 3-hour delay in checking-in but we were reasonably compensated in the form of complimentary parking and dining credits. Kudos to the front desk and concierge staff who were efficient and patient, especially with some unreasonable guests (no need to make things difficult for those who are trying to make your stay better). Food quality of in room dining was good and the safety measure was well managed at the pool. Thank you to all that have served us during our stay, you are Awesome! Just one thing not so pleasant thou, the service attitude of a particular male staff at Ash and Elm was rather bad that’s why we decided not to dine there. Seemed like somethings don’t change (bad experience with Ash and Elm years back), so except for the restaurant, we would love to come back again 😁

Beds were clean and comfortable. Front desk staff service was friendly and professional. After the 1st night, was woken up by drilling and hammering noises at 9 plus in the morning. Breakfast in room dining was ordered at 930am, arrived at 1150am as in doom dining department could not cope w the huge amount of orders. Was informed that our breakfast would arrive at 1130am. So first day, wasn't impressed w renovation noises that disrupted our sleep and a breakfast that was more of brunch. Did request for room change and was given another room. Air conditioning in the new room was not working well n had to request for a fan. Overall, the old building and maintenance of the hotel would place it as a 4 star hotel rather than a 5-star rating.

Lavender
Hotel Boss is about the location. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel and Lavender MRT Station is 200m away. Bugis and City Hall area is a short bus ride away and Kampong Glam is within walking distance. Check-in was surprisingly quick, given the long queues inside the lobby as well as 2 separate long queues outside the hotel (one along it's drop-off point via Syed Alwi Road and another along its front - Victoria Street). The staff were friendly and welcoming. Pretty good attitude given the large crowd and check-ins. It's a mid-range hotel with many rooms. The rooms, however, are pretty small. Tiny, I would say. I have got a Triple Room and the distance between the foot of the bed and the desk is about a person's width. The en-suite toilet is tiny too. A big-sized guy like me would hit the wall or the basin when I changed inside the toilet. There are no traditional toilet paper dispenser. Instead, what was installed was a tissue paper in a cylindrical container where you pulled down piece by piece. This was installed by the mirror behind you if you used the bowl, so it was pretty inconvenient. The water strength of the tap and showers were good. Toiletries and towels were provided and replenished/changed daily. The bed was comfortable but only one pillow was provided and the pillow was thin. The air-con is pretty strong and given the small size of the rooms, the room was cooled pretty quickly. There is no wardrobe but an open-style hanging system was used with 6 hangers. Coffee and tea was provided as well as a kettle. The mini-fridge was great! The strength was great and chilled my drinks quickly. One really bad thing about Hotel Boss is that they have pretty thin walls. I could hear the muffled sounds of my next-door neighbours talking and the sound of the TV. There were some shouting two doors down and that was audible. Had to call the staff up to handle and they did a pretty good job. The in-room telephone wasn't working well and I could not hear anything after 2 calls down to the reception but they sent a guy up after that to make sure things were good. Breakfast was provided and served at their 4th floor Halal-certified restaurant. It was a choice between a Chinese or Western set. Serving was great with the typical breakfast items, in addition to yogurt, bread and cereal with milk. There were queues at certain times of breakfast (after 9.30am) but that was probably due to the high occupancy rate. All in all, I believe the Triple Room I stayed in was too cosy for 3 adults. I loved the service and condition of the room. It was convenient to get to a lot of places. However, one thing to note is that they would locked the front doors (facing Victoria Street) from 9pm-5am and you would have to access via it's drop-off point (facing Syed Alwi Road and Kallang River).
