|11.72km from city centerExtremely clean and newer looking hotel. Very nice front desk attendant (Love was her name); very helpful and welcoming. Great size room and love any hotel with a microwave and mini fridge (this one is actually COLD!) Fitness center standards but very clean and all equipment works Breakfast this morning on the other hand had hiccups but only the (non) cook to blame. Liz (I’m assuming she is the Bistro manager) was so amazing with her help to the server in general but also to me. Asked for poached eggs on my bistro breakfast bowl (which is a standard menu item for the courtyard bistros…have had them many many times at many courtyards and it’s one of my favorites)…she said she didn’t think the cook knew how to poach eggs…I laughed and was like but that is a very basic cooking technique. She said she’ll instruct the cook how to do so and let me check when it’s done. When it came out I looked and said yep they look about right. Brought the meal to my room and realized the rest of the dish (kale, tomatoes, green onion, cheese), wasn’t even cooked or even heated…so yeah raw kale is not good…luckily I could steam it in my microwave…and yes that is how this dish is cooked at other bistros…at the very least flash fried and served hot (not cold)…I let Liz know this after and did state again the eggs were perfect but the cook needs to either resign or start to learn how to cook. These hotels get busy with business folks who need a breakfast cooked as it should be. Overall tho, the hotel is great and I would stay again. Shout out again to Liz and Love..they are both awesome

|6.43km from city centerWorst stay ever!!! First they wouldn’t honor an early check in that was guaranteed before making the reservation. Stating they couldn’t change my card before the 3:00 pm check in. So I asked to cancel and said I’ll go across the street then. The employee quickly changed their story and allowed early check in. And charged my card for the early check in. I get to my room and after 12 straight hours of driving through the night I quickly crash on the bed. I wake up to COCKROACHES on the floor and on the walls. I asked for a manager to get a refund to leave and there wasn’t one on duty. I was told I could be switched rooms. If they are in one room they are in all! I was given the number to the manager which coincidentally just rings. There were roaches on the walls, floors, and even in the mini fridge. I *****ped the bed to make sure none were on the bed. I don’t want to know what was there while I slept. The free breakfast consisted of hamburger buns and a milk jug as the juice dispenser was not working. There was mold on the walls and ceiling. Thank goodness I was in the military and given the harpoon shot and an array of other shots, who knows what I would have picked up at this hotel. This was definitely the WORST hotel ever. Being deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan was a better experience and there were people trying to kill me there. I will never be staying there again.

|1.43km from city centerSo it doesn't take much for me to be satisfied with a hotel because I typically travel alone and don't stay in the room very much. I have now stayed here twice and the first time was ok for a one night stay. The second time, I stayed for two nights this past weekend. I typically use the stairs to go up and down as opposed to the elevator. When I went down the first time, there was a large pile of human feces on the ground level. Only reason I noticed it was because of the crazy stench that stung my nostrils as I neared the ground floor. Whatever, crap happens I guess and someone cleaned it up later because it wasn't there the next time I came through. Housekeeping must not have cleaned the bathroom before I checked in because there was still hair stuck in the sink. Overall, I'm not going to ding them for these two things that bad like most people do on these reviews. The room (aside from the bathroom sink) was clean and the bed was comfy. The staff is always friendly and it's just about a mile walk to the Battery area with Truist Park. There is on-site parking for a small fee. This won't be my go-to in the future unless their price is just far below other rooms in the area.

Really upset me as they must have seen 5 messages?? - in a courtyard (supposed 3-4 sear hotel basic inroom amenities as a note pad and a pen should be standard… unfortunately in neither of our two rooms ;-( Again basically the hotel was fine, but those details show lack of customer care and can do attitude

|8.62km from city centerWe took our 9 year old to his first two Braves games and stayed at this hotel for 4 days. We had never stayed here before, but a relative recommended the hotel. The room was clean and smelled nice. I always check the sheets and pillows. The only negative was the white thin coverlet looked pretty on top, but was covered in paint smudges or marker of some kind on the underside. We just removed it and set it to the side. The staff, for the most part, was incredibly nice and very helpful. Crystal and Marianna at the front desk were absolutely wonderful! Warm smiles and very helpful with any questions. The breakfast each day was great! The woman serving was all smiles and kept everything well stocked. Our housekeeper was super friendly and traded our towels and washcloths as well as replenished our toilet tissue and in room coffee. The only major negative to our trip was the night counter employee, Josh. He had a terrible attitude and was disrespectful and rude. Not just to us. We observed his bad attitude on our second night and experienced it ourselves on our last night. Out of respect for my son, I waited until he was comfortably back in our room before I returned to the lobby to get Josh’s name. We had been very nice and friendly when we originally entered the lobby and even asked Josh several questions about his day. He ignored us completely, and we were standing directly in front of him at the counter trying to pay for some drinks. When he returned our change he set it down behind the plastic barrier and then ignored us. We couldn’t get hold of it and asked if he could push it forward. He continued to ignore us as if we weren’t there. Keep in mind we were literally standing across the counter from him at the check in desk. My wife ended up pushing on the plastic barrier until it touched the register so she could slide the dollars out. The entire time he ignored us, even as we were asking him to please slide the money under the plastic. In an effort to avoid a conflict in front of my son we simply said, “Well then. I guess have a good night.” He still didn’t respond…. When I returned to the lobby, his excuse was, “..I have had to deal with these baseball people all week.” I was wearing a Braves shirt…. There was more with Josh, but I have made my point. So, to wrap it up, Josh is a terrible front desk representative for this hotel and needs to be moved where he has no guest contact. The rest of the staff and management are great!

The room was mostly clean upon arrival, staff always friendly and helpful. The elevator did not work for first 1.5 months, housekeeping was horrible. I was informed if I needed cleaning supplies or a vacuum I was welcome to come get theirs when I inquired about cleaning, so I cleaned my own bathroom/room during my stay. Also had to change my own sheets and then began washing my own towels as I was told several times they werent available at the time I asked. The area is great, everything close by that you may need.

|8.68km from city centerPicked this location due to its proximity to work trip site. Arrived to find the usual COVID cleaning update letter in the room explaining their enhancements and changes. Then walked into the bathroom to see lines of false eyelashes stuck to the wall. Tell me more about that enhanced cleaning...... eww. If you're COVID/masking conscious, be aware all front desk staff isn't masking, most travelors aren't either. Breakfast staff was masked. The TVs now have the option to control them from your cell phone with a QR code, which we enjoyed. Only other real complaint was the water pressure was really low and it took forever to get hot water in the shower and I was about to give up before it finally arrived. Otherwise this was a very average Fairfield stay. Would stay here again if needed.

I should have called when I realized we only had one washcloth. It wasn't a big deal, and I could have waited for them to bring them up. The person who met us late at night was very friendly and very nice. It was a pleasure checking in. Thank you for making our stay pleasant and easy. Clean rooms, bathrooms and we will stay again if we are through the area again.

Outdoor common areas are inaccessible due to season - but weather is moderate and it would be nice to be able to spend some time outside. Stayed here for the price - but spend a few more dollars and stay elsewhere.

Being close to the main road you could definitely hear the traffic but it did seem to die down later into the evening so not really an issue. Had a minor issue with the shower, the entire shower faucet popped off lol not a deal breaker just annoying having to hold it in place. The bigger issue was the roach(es). Sorry, but they were there. I managed to snap a pic of one, the others scurried away when the curtains opened. So, trying to sleep knowing things are scurrying around made the night interesting :) Having said all that, I believe management indicated they would credit my rewards membership with some points. I'd also stay at another Marriott establishment as well.

I needed soap and it was up and to my room in like 5 minutes. Breakfast buffet for 20$/person has a good amount of things to choose from and the waitresses are wonderful as well. Room was clean and big. We had plenty of towels and soaps and such. 12 minute walk to the battery and there was crossing guards to help cross Cobb Parkway to the game to keep everyone safe which was very awesome considering its a very busy road. We had an amazing time.

They remembered us on this visit (I guess we’ve been a lot) & it was very nice. Always happy to accommodate. Even with the Covid times we live in they try to make the experience normal! Some small issues arise from time to time that are related to the construction of the building and certainly no fault of the staff! Will stay again.

I initially only planned to stay 1 week but ended up staying 6 months due to the great hospitality. Loved every moment. The staff was not just about “business” but they made it feel like family with all the great conversations I got to share with the employees. Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep after that. I immediately complained to night staff and he wouldn't do anything about it or offer me anything for my night of sleep being ruined. Won't be back.

Many have branded themselves as top tier 5 stars but the Hyatt Regency is the HEAD OF THE CLASS in Total Package services, from staff to accommodations, personable staff from front desks to maids and managers. There is a climate and atmosphere that is incomparable and never disappoints. In my humble opinions, it's Hyatt-The Best and all others competing for 2nd place. Stacy at the front desk was BEYOND helpful, funny and knowledgeable! We told her we were planning on dining in our usual favorite establishment and she recommended the Marietta Fish Market….. Its our new favorite seafood restaurant!!! We even brought her back an enormous slice of decadent chocolate cake from the restaurant. Back to the hotel.. The room is very clean and extremely comfortable. The showers had wall-attached shampoo, conditioner and body wash, which was very convenient. I love the fact they have free breakfast AND dinner! I never heard of a hotel offering that before. Plus you get 3 free alcoholic beverages if you care to indulge, every evening. Randy is also VERY friendly, funny and professional! I can’t wait to stay here again!!

Especially for Jainaba, she is a Muslim and very friendly to us, he learns Bahasa, so that he can communicate with us. Then one day we asked Jainaba if we could order rice for breakfast, because we really miss Indonesian cuisine. And finally Jainaba conveyed to John about our request. Thank God our request was granted by John. He gave us Kongi Rice a.k.a chicken rice as our breakfast. thanks Jainaba. Thank you All Atlanta Marriot Hotel at Galleria Staffs.

Not only did management (Alexander Hamilton) work closely with us to ensure our room would be available at the cheapest rate (CBA, baseball) the staff were all very friendly and accommodating. We were greeted with a smile upon our arrival and the check-in process was flawless. Our boys thoroughly enjoyed the continental breakfast and the staff members working in that area were more than helpful! We plan to make a yearly trip to Atlanta for a baseball game and will definitely be staying at this hotel in the future!

We get there at 1:00 and was told we couldn’t check in until. at least 3:00 Eve. Tho they charged me for early checkin . We were two people, they told me they had no rooms available with fridge as they had given them away even tho I was guaranteed. No microwave either.The room was for two, but we get to room and it’s clearly met for one! One desk chair at a table, one lounge thingy that no one over 40 would be comfortable in, and with my handicap I couldn’t get in it! They only supplied towels for one, we had to ask for more.we are supposed to get breakfast credit, but we didn’t They gave a card for a free drink at the bay which was closed. Nothing in the room or bathroom was very clean.Oh and if you wanted the room cleaned, you had to let the front desk know in the morning before 9:am.I set an alarm to do so which I shouldn’t have to do, I am on vacation. When we got back to our room at 3 pm, it still hadn’t been cleaned, so we settled for clean towels. We were so disappointed as we chose the double tree for its reputation in the Hilton family of hotels. It was not a good experience at all!
