My husband & I stayed at Zur Studios & Suites in Beirut for 2 weeks in an exceutive suite. It was very comfortable with high end furnishings. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The common areas are extremely clean and disinfection products are used and available at the reception and in the elevators. The bed linen and the towels are changed on a daily basis. Parking access is available to clients with 24 hour security. Food delivery staff are not allowed to access the building for hygiene purposes. I would highly recommend Zur Suites & Studios!

I booked this hotel as a group booking, 12 people, 8 rooms. The staff were most helpful and offered an excellent rate. We checked in at 2am due to our flight time and the staff were there to meet us and very friendly. The whole stay they were very helpful for local advice and provided impecible service throughout our stay. The rooms are not huge but very modern and exceptionably clean. The roof top pool/Bar is very well designed with great views across the city, perfect all day especialy for sun set drinks. I would not stay anywhere else in Beirut after staying here.

My husband and I stayed in the hotel over New Years for one week. This is one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in, the service and cleanliness is impeccable, the staff is extremely friendly. The hotel is very comfortable and truly gave the feeling of a home away from home. The price for the hotel along with room service is very reasonable. The room incorporated a great deal of amenities, one usually does not receive in other hotels (not even some of the leading hotels in the world). Not to mention everything is fairly close. From the reception, to housekeeping, to the staff at breakfast, everyone made you feel welcome and happy to be there. Will definitely stay there again on my next visit and will recommend it to anyone who’s visiting Beirut.

This is a great place to stay in a fun neighborhood. From the moment I booked my room until I left, the whole Meshmosh team was helpful and informative! The rooms are nice, clean and affordable. Breakfast is fantastic, with a lot of choice and good coffee/tea available. A friend of mine needed a room last minute since the hotel she had booked was a disaster, Grand Meshmosh stepped up and helped her with an easy move and a nice place to stay! Airport shuttle was also convenient and well priced.

If Sofitel Le Gabriel was called after a different name I would rate the hotel with 4/5 but unfortunately it's a Sofitel and definitely is lacking those little extras to make you feel special. When a guest is a platinum cardholder it's these touches that make you feel special for trusting AccorHotels chain. What I mean... We had two nights (3 full days) at Beirut staying at Sofitel Le Grabriel. We arrived early in the morning (around 8 am at the hotel) and we were given a room although check-in opens at 14:00. Honestly we didn't have any expectations for getting a room so early and we thought we would just leave our suitcases and go away until check-in time. It was a nice gesture to give us a room immediately. It was the exact room type we booked - luxury double. Usually, upon availability there is an upgrade to platinum members. Of course we didn't know how full is the hotel and cannot insist on that but during our entire stay we crossed three guests (!). Generally it was pretty quiet in the hotel so I find it weird we didn't have an upgrade in the room (we could wait for a check-in at 14;00 if it was to get a nicer room). The luxury room we got on the 8th floor was nice but the bathroom was too small. Maybe the smallest we ever got in a Sofitel. There was a nice veranda but only one chair to sit and although we thought of spending sometime outside on the balcony late in the evening, it was impossible. Furthermore, only one bathrobe and only one pair of slippers were available. Most of the times you get a welcome note by the manager in the room with a bottle of water and a little treat that makes you feel 'special', and even when this is not ready on the first day, they leave it in your room the second day. We got nothing apart from two small bottles of water that were replaced every day. During the turn down service the housekeeping provided new clean towels but they didn't replace the empty water bottles on the bedside table. I don't know the policy of this exact hotel. Maybe the instructions they have is to just have the bottled water replaced once during the day. Strange though in a country like Lebanon that you cannot drink water from the tap so you must either use the mini bar or get from outside. In all our stays elsewhere in this chain they had been provided with new bottles during turn down service. It's all about details, yes. What if there was just one chair on the balcony and just one bathrobe. It's not that a big thing, yes. Also, it's not the value of a small bottle of water, neither that of the welcome treat, but it's the gesture to a loyal guest and what makes the hotel differentiating from an equivalent 5* that is not a Sofitel. On the positive side I have to thank the friendly male receptionist in the evening (I'm sorry I don't remember the name) that booked us a restaurant of our preference for dinner and also for being polite and attentive! We asked him the last night for a late check out on the next day and he extended i

I stayed here for six nights, and for my needs would stay in another part of the city on a return visit. The room size is good, with a separate seating and work area from the bedroom. The heavy curtains work well to block out the sun if you need darkness for sleeping. Nothing can be done, however, to block out the noise. As other reviewers have noted the nightclub downstairs blasts music until 2-3am on the weekends, and until 1am other nights. Be prepared! (I had requested a quiet room although did not receive one, if they even exist??) The bathroom is also a good size although the lighting in the bathroom is extremely dull, even with all of the lights on. The minibar and other amenities are decent and sometimes refilled. Overall the property is tired and worn. As it is advertised as a boutique hotel I did not expect standard 5* quality, however, this property is certainly not a 4* or 5* property however you rate it. Service levels are average, and few staff members ever said a word to me coming or going or even acknowledged my presence in any way. I was booked on the non-smoking floor and for several nights of my stay there was a/were heavy smoker/s in the room next door. It was so bad that the smoke woke me up. One evening the pool/bar area was booked for a private party, and there was no notice of this in the lobby or my room so I went upstairs to relax for a bit and walked into a mess. I'm sure it could be a nice space for a drink, but I cannot confirm. The level of cleanliness is also average. You can tell the rooms are vacuumed as you can see the markings on the well-worn carpet. There were dark hairs in my shower when I checked in, and they remained unmoved in my shower for the entirety of my stay. There was also toothpaste around the mirror and back of the sink area that also remained for my entire stay. You can easily walk to Beirut Souks, central business areas and nearby neighborhood for shopping, cafes, and nightclubs. If this your thing, then this could be a good location for you. Cars, taxis, etc. cannot reach the hotel directly so you will have a very short walk to reach the hotel if you are dropped off on the nearby road.

Great hotel for solo stays, business travel and couples. Best rooftop in Beirut. I stayed in the summer and hardly left the hotel because there is so much to do. I had a great experience with the staff from the valet to reception, maid/room service etc. and I knew I would from my first communion with sales manager Mazen who helped put together the perfect long stay package for me. I’m an expat who is constantly traveling and staying in the same old boring hotels that look the same. What I love about Smallville is that it is an experience not just a stay.

The Key Aparthotel is a really lovely boutique hotel with lovely friendly, professional and helpful staff. The interior design is clean, modern and stylish. Rooms are a pretty good size with high ceilings and effective use of mirrors to make them feel more spacious. The galley kitchen in the room is well designed and practical without taking up much space. Beds are really comfortable with beautiful quality linen. The only thing I would redesign is the bathroom door which ideally should be a sliding door, to free up space in the compact bathroom. I have no hesitation in recommending the Key Aparthotel and will stay again next time I visit Beirut.

About transportation: Easy to walk to reach downtown attractions About chartered car: The hotel provides a tour package for chartered travel. It is more convenient than taxi. Effective tour Save time (It’s a waste of time on the bus. Long-distance attractions can only go one day.) About the diet: There is a commissary and a big supermarket nearby. The 50-year-old shop on the recommended picture is reasonable and very delicious.

As a first time visitor to Beirut, from the US, this hotel served us very well as a base for exploring the city. The hotel itself is large, well centered, and very unique. The lobby features multiple places for lunch, breakfast, beer, etc. It's all there. I was a bit concerned as the hotel reviews said it had no onsite dining options - but really they do as the lobby has tons of options. The choices are much better than your standard onsite hotel dining. Across the street is a small shop for snacks, drink etc, again everything you need to make a trip comfortable as you deal with jet lag and a new city. The area was extremely well located with many shopping and sight seeing options available. The area itself was well maintained and a nice center for exploring the different areas of Beirut. I was torn between this hotel and Le Gray, and after seeing Le Gray and downtown, I was glad we stayed here in Hamra. The walk to Downtown took 2 of us (late thirties) 20 minutes and the walk back along the Corniche was 30m. It is a fairly easy walk and not as far as I had thought. Hotel provided umbrellas due to the rain and it was a nice touch. The room was extremely large, similar to a large studio apartment. The room is stocked with everything you need and is all clean as one would expect for a hotel. I stayed in a Van Dyck Sea View Suite and it was a great choice, located on the 12th floor, the views were amazing. We booked transport via the hotel and the driver was exactly where he said he would be when we arrived, clear name placard and easy to find. This was HUGE for us and really made for a great first impression. Professional gentleman, clean car, and easy arrival after 20 hours of travel. Only small issues as an FYI: 1) Breakfast wasn't mentioned and then was a bit awkward to get details on. You take it in Paul's and tell the waiter your room number and you have ~22 per person USD to select whatever you want. Seems to work for anything at anytime. 2) House keeping forgot something every single day, either coffee, shampoo, or similar. Overall the hotel is a great choice for a tourist needing a good base for relaxing and enjoying the city. Wonderful hotel.
