I don't know who opened this hotel. The layout of the room made me feel incredible. The trash can used the old one. Our room is an Indian family room. In fact, the old house is still very charming, but the decoration inside this room, no I don’t want to sleep at night. First of all, there is a melancholy black-and-white photo of a child wearing an adult dress. It’s especially big, and there is a mottled mirror that makes people feel like they’re going to take a dice in minutes. It’s beautiful. Beautiful, the service is really good, the staff are very qualified. I am sorry that my daughter has also broken their towel rails. We are going to catch the plane at six in the morning, and the waiter has packaged breakfast for us. The sound insulation effect is particularly poor, the next door is the alley, but the earplugs are very intimate. There is no such insomnia. Shampoo shower gel is also very good, with a touch of aroma. The toilet is very big. I don't know if you like the old things. I don't like it anyway. It is enough to live once.

The hotel is very distinctive and has a strong mix of styles. The room is a duplex structure, spacious and comfortable. There are no problems with two adults with two children. The breakfast variety is not too much, but it is not bad. There is no distribution slippers in the room. After communicating with the waiter, it is very warm to the room; the first floor of the hotel The kebaya restaurant is the most popular Nyonya restaurant in Penang. It is worthwhile to have a place to book in advance.

For sure it’s not easy find a place so lovely. The family carrying on this place is absolutely great, helpful and kind as much as is possible. Yea maybe the breakfast is not the best you can have, but it’s fine, you can have homemade jams and kaya with bread, make your porridge, free coffee all day long if you want, tea, fresh water... but Isn’t nice when you stay in a place and the owners are always smiling at you and disposable for eeeeverything you need? Even take you out for the night Chinese ghost festival, or how was it called. They are happy to have you here and you will be happy to stay. The dorm was very clean, with curtains for the very comfortable beds, where you could feel as you are in a small private room inside. Definitely highly recommended.

Traffic in this era is naturally not a problem, no matter where you live, the traffic is very convenient, so I will mainly talk about the accommodation. The cleaning is quite clean, the sheets and quilts can also be changed, dry and good smelling, in the room The ventilation is very good, and the quality can be guaranteed. I think the most outstanding feature of this homestay is the good design, the house has a good texture, and the lighting and decoration. It is worth living!

The picture advertised was real !! Quiet surroundings and sgt privacy. Beautiful landscape sgt. The interior is very romantic. the whole room including the bathroom is sgt clean. Comfortable, fragrant bed. There's a mosquito net! Enough plug points. There are two water purifiers, showing the owner is very concerned about cleanliness and comfort. Electric mosquito repellent is ready to be installed, aerosol is provided, but we don't use it because there are no mosquitoes. Umbrellas are also provided. There is an electric fan. Extra point when they prepare afternoon tea at checkin - a tray of green tea, a piece of chocolate that is very choclatier (nyumm) and sweets served with a tray and a very classic tea set. The staff is very friendly - they just looked at our faces, they kept calling our names. Please take the luggage out of the car Small effort tp effective in the hearts of visitors, feel like welcome. Keep it up guys! The only thing missing is parking. Yet it should be accepted as it is a classic area. Definitely will come again for the next honeymoon (honeymoon till the end of our life😉).

This is a boutique hotel. Our queen room was comfortable and ample for two of us. The bathroom was modern and light but keep in mind it is only separated from the room by a block out curtain. The exhaust fan works well though. Wifi in room 202 was sketchy but strong near the door or just outside it. It is fine in the common areas. The common areas and plunge pool are very pleasant indeed. Staff were helpful and always able to be found during their operating hours. There is a great kitchen area with a fridge etc. No fridge or tea making in room. Location is excellent. Windows are insulated letting in only the tiniest bit of noise on weekend nights. There is a two story walk up to the rooms but the manager insisted on carrying our bags. The no shoe policy was a bit of a nuisance but not uncommon in SE Asia. The included breakfast, served in the cafe next door, was great for the price. We appreciated having water supplied in jugs in both room and kitchen area and, having brought our own water bottles, didn’t buy a single plastic one. We would happily stay here again.

The host was so amazing. He went above and beyond to help me. Because of COVID-19 I’ve had to overstay my visa. He went to the immigration office on my behalf to ask what I should do. I have never experienced such great service. I definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel is strategically located in the downtown area of Georgetown. There is a handsome Chinese man at the front desk. The building has a history of 100 years, but the hotel was opened in 2010. It is antique and full of Nanyang features. The room is small but comfortable. Our family also upgraded to a private room on the second floor for free. You can walk to the dining and walking. The hotel is next to the Kee Roast, 3 minutes to Dadong Restaurant, 5 minutes to Shantou Street, Yueping bean sprouts chicken, and upside down the museum. The only downside is that the pool is too small and the water is normal and has a sour taste.

The Magazine Vista Hotel in Penang is more cost-effective. When choosing this hotel, I consulted for a long time, such as booking (more reviews, good or bad), Ctrip (only a simple review). Because it only opened in 2018, the hardware is very new, and the hygiene is good. I especially like to have a washing machine, but I have to find a place to dry the clothes indoors. The location of the apartment is very good. On the left is the GAMA supermarket, and on the right is the landmark of Everbright. Fruits and snacks have their own favorites! Call the front desk before arriving at the hotel, because the front desk is not here, so call in advance and the hotel will send staff to wait at the door. When you call, you need to speak English. There is a Chinese-speaking waiter. India borrowed ”Di Li” (transliteration)-Figure 6 this one. If you call him, you will have no difficulty in communication. He will come to collect a tax of MYR 10 per night, introduce room facilities, and even help you set up a taxi app on your phone. The network is poor and it can't be connected for a few days, so it is important to buy a local phone card. On the second floor facing the street, the noise of motorcycles on the street is loud, which will affect the rest. These problems are not big, this hotel is worth recommending.

The location of the hotel is very good, it is very small, two boxes can not be opened flat in the house. Going to the surname bridge, murals, museums and supermarkets are very close. There is a net red coffee outside the hotel, you must try it. The hotel started to take off your shoes from the door and it was clean. The black brother at the front desk is very enthusiastic. I will give you an introduction to the game. It will not be Chinese or English. Hotel breakfast is average, very small variety, coffee bread slices. Overall praise.

We booked 4 nights in this relatively new 3-star hotel (3 years old) situated in a very good location of Penang. Before the trip we did not have high expectations of the hotel as we had a couple of bad experiences in 4- and 5-star hotels around other parts of Malaysia, but this one impresses us a lot. The hotel and room (we booked the studio) are very clean, well-maintained, and has potable drinking tap water. The amenities are great, shampoo and shower gel are provided in pump dispensers. Room is spacious, our child loves the place and was running around all day long. The floor - parquet and tiles are squeaky clean (no exaggeration), we didn't even have to wear the room slippers or worry about our child stepping on gravel or dust. Laundry bag is provided in the drawer where we could keep our worn clothings. The mirror is at the walkway, not visible from our bed which is great for visitors who do not like seeing mirrors all around. There isn't anything much we could complain, but if I would it will be the lack of shavers and loss of wifi when we turned the TV off. The router is built in the TV system so it has to be turned on if you wish to use the wifi. Doesn't affect us as we had roaming internet. There also isn't a proper car pouch area, so cars will have to drop at the side of the road and we had to quickly disembark with our baggage and other items as the vehicle may obstruct traffic. The fire alarm went off at 4am on our first night which woke us up, but it could be due to technical issues and it didn't dampen our stay for the remaining 3 nights. Staff were all friendly and helpful, and the extent of their sanitization takes away your worries about having to live with the covid virus in the hotel. The guard makes it a point to sanitize our shoes when we arrive (most of, but not all the time), though we don't really understand how sanitizing the shoes alone could deter the virus. They also provided us a baby cot as we requested prior to the trip, and it came with a pillow. The hotel is a 5 minutes walk away from the popular mural arts area, 3 minutes away to the Jetty foodcourt - large eatery with lots of local food selections and live gig, and 4 minutes to a convenience store. Right opposite the hotel is the Chew and Tan Jetties, popular tourist attractions. Location: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Check in & out: 5/5 Room maintenance: 5/5 Amenities: 4/5 (no shavers, have to leave TV on for wifi 😑) Staff friendliness: 5/5 Breakfast: Did not try, rather go for the Penang food around the island Pool & Gym: Did not have the time to try For a hotel like this it could easily be graded 4-star. It's a no-brainer that we will return to this hotel the next time we visit Penang. Well done!

Worst stay ever! Reception gv us a room which guests were still staying inside the room. We were shocked when we opened the door and there's sound inside and that guests quickly locked the door immediately. Then we went back to reception and they told us that the wasn't register when the guests took the key. It was very horrible and dangerous to someone whom the room was being opened. Luckily we hv a new room later. Room and toilet was huge 👍 but sound proof wasn't good. But overall the location was very good!

Overnight for up to 3 people. The room looks as advertised. The air conditioner is clean and tidy, except that it is not cold enough. That's why the room is provided with an air cooler. The air cooler is a little noisy, so it's quite annoying when you go to bed. Good place. Free parking is available, but space is very limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Suitable for short-term and budget stays.

There was only one receptionist who were handling everything by herself. The key card was faulty and i had to go up and down few times to get it done. First, the housekeeper came to open the door and advice me to go down to activate the card. Went down and came up the the same issue. The card was faulty, unable to open the door, at the end, was offered another room at another level. The overall experience of checking in and getting a room was unpleasant. The final family suite i got was good and it was clean.

A Chinese-owned bed and breakfast is very close to the surname bridge. There are also many Chinese-opened tea rooms for breakfast. The room is small, the toilet is cool, and no one can speak Chinese when the boss is absent. The grand birthday of the Tiangong, I do not know whether it is fireworks or someone hit the window. Anyway, when the shower was in the window, the window was so loud that the mother was scared. I thought someone was out of the window. I quickly called to come over and check, and I didn’t find out the reason. The staff was also very good. It’s said that we didn’t change rooms, and we didn’t bother to change the last day.

- good location at Georgetown (few minutes walking distance to Clan Jetty, Little India, street arts, museums) - stayed at level 4 (highest floor) with a view of heritage buildings - impressive & thoughtful design of the room (look new & clean) - in-room breakfast has been sent to the room on time as request but it is not worth the price (picture is only for illustration purpose, some dishes listed in the menu is not being served, coffee powder given instead of brew coffee) - shampoo and shower gel in very mini size bottle which are not really sufficient for two person - request for extra bottle of drinking water but been informed that it will be charged for RM3 - staff service need to be improved (slow check in and unprofessional telephone etiquette) but the one who sent us breakfast was helpful - free indoor parking (have to be careful of the narrow driveway) - poor Wi-Fi - water pressure in bathroom is a little low - air cond took quite some times to cold - beyond my expectation for a 3-star hotel, above average in overall, worth the price, will consider to stay again next time

I checked this hotel on and all look nice. Actually, I got surprise when I saw it in Penang. The main gate is really small and we almost could not find it. Inside the hotel was a little bit old but it was still lovely with vintage decoration. A big inconvenience is the elevator could not run and we had to bring the luggage to the 4th floor by our hands. But fortunately, the staffs were reallt nice and helped us a lot (actually there's only one man helped us). The rooms are small and have no windows but all furnitures inside were great. Cool ac, soft bed and warm shower. From this hotel, you can move to other highlight points of Penang easily 😉

Our stay at the blue mansion was amazing from start to finish. The staff were excellent and efficient. The room was great, with some nice touches like biscuits and sarongs to use by the pool. It’s worth noting the room had a fan and air conditioning which we didn’t expect from a historic residence. We were blown away by the hotel and would recommend it to anyone staying in Georgetown. It really added to our trip.

The third time I stayed at the fc hotel was as good as the experience, and the parking was convenient. This time I stayed in the single room and the room was very clean. I hope the hotel will accommodate the corner room I want next time. At 3:00 in the middle of the night, unfortunately, I encountered a strange firefighter in room 306, who was staying in more than 20 rooms in Sabah. He slammed the door in and out of the corridor until 5:00 in the morning. This kind of firefighter who destroys the image of the country is really It shouldn't be, no wonder Malaysia is so bad. Although I can't rest well this time and drive 180 kilometers to Penang to encounter such a strange thing, I still give the hotel full marks. After all, it is not easy for the industry.

What a lovely hotel! For the price I was paying, I was not expecting much. But everything, from the hospitality to the room, was amazing! The room itself is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and wonderful to come back to after a long day of wandering. The air conditioner works great, the shower has actual hot water (not a given in Malaysia, I've found), and the bed is comfortable. The hotel provides extra little touches, like fantastic, thick, large towels for the bathroom and daily water bottles. Netflix and Youtube are connected through the tv, so you always have options. And I was thoroughly impressed by the housekeeping staff, who seemed to do a deep-deep clean every morning. The location is excellent. It's not in the center of downtown, so you don't have the noise and craziness, but it's only a short walk away. Even better, it's super close to Komtar, the main bus terminal. If you are going anywhere too far to walk (or if you don't want to walk far when it's 90 degrees outside!) the free CAT bus and all of the other intracity buses are only a couple of blocks away. It was perfect for coming in on the ferry - I hopped on the free CAT bus, got off at Komtar and walked 5 minutes. I understand as well that the hotel will lend out bikes for use of the guests, but that's not my thing. Something that won't matter to a lot of people, but I loved, was that there are 3 incredible vegan restaurants within a 5-minute walk of the place and great coffee places only a block or two away. Wifi was good. Other than a blip one night when it was slow (I think it was a provider thing, not the hotel), I was getting 15mbps download speed. If I return to Penang, this will definitely be where I stay. Highly recommend!
