      I visited Seoul with my parents. The biggest reason I chose Best Western Gangnam was because of the Connect Room. It was nice to be able to use the two rooms together as there is a door that can be opened and closed between the room and the room. Because the location is Gangnam, the distance to the destination the next day is close I was satisfied. There are plenty of parking spaces left, so I did it without a problem. I passed breakfast for Corona and ordered it to be delivered. The delivery person cannot enter, so you have to go down to the lobby to pick it up.       Hi, boys, I was in this hostel for 5 nights at the beginning of October 2019. Indeed there were so many hostels in this area more or less similar, with the same services and more or less at the same price, perhaps even less expensive. I was super undecisive but then I chose almost one at random, based on the reviews of the castle beds of ahaha, but also on the beautiful pictures of the beds of ahaha (not a good method I would say), in any case the stay was really very pleasant. The owner, who is a fantastic character, is super nice and available, including his wife really very well.. They also have 3 dogs, but those I hated them :). The hostel is very clean and rather new, with clean bathrooms (it is shoes in the hostel, which you will find more or less everywhere). The location is excellent, literally 3 minutes walk from the Hongdae University metro station, and just two steps from the central road/road of Hongdae. The hostel is a little hidden, but with some intuition is located (at the right of Luv is True, you will see ;). The beds are very comfortable, all of wooden with tenders, spine to load the phone and light, all that is necessary.

      Highly recommended place to stay in South Korea when you are travelling on a budget. The room is spacious enough for me and my friend. Everything we need is there, including umbrella and selfie stick (just make sure to return them after using😂). The staffs are also very helpful and approachable. Uncle Tom was incredible too as he can speak many languages, including Filipino. I can never forget that day in the dining area where he surprised a guest from Kazakhstan by he speaking his language! It was just amazing.😃 He is attentive to the needs of his guests (thank you for the heat packs😍) and makes sure to interact with us during breakfast (which is free 😁). The location of the hostel is also very good as it very near Insadong and Exit 7 Jongno 3 Subway Station. It is near Changdeokgung Palace and a temple, thereby the area is generally quiet which makes it perfect if you want to rest after a day full of activities. All in all, Hostel Tommy is a perfect place to stay. Will surely be back in the future. 😃 P.S. I miss this doggy from our room. P.P.S. You can follow Hostel Tommy on Instagram! I was surprised as her rudeness as I was looking forward to my stay and had never experienced this before here. It was to the point that I was fuming even when I went into my room and to dinner. They turned a bad experience around. I would like for action to be taken against Joy, or at least spoken to about her behavior. Daol Guesthouse is in a super convenient location in Hongdae and away from the busy area which is nice. We stayed in a 3 bedroom with private bathroom and it was just nice for 3 female adults. Ji Won and her family are super warm and friendly and they are ever ready to help you with any advice to get around the city. They also prepare breakfast every morning with seasonal fruits. They introduced us to a local Ginseng Market which led us to find this hole in the wall fried chicken place which we think is hands down the best fried chicken. If you are looking for a no frills, warm bed and convenient location to rest at night after walking all day in the city, best place to be at, Daol Guesthouse.
