Located on a very busy road, so it's good for accessing via car but make sure you get a room away from the front of the hotel as traffic is all night. Reception is modern and the staff were very friendly throughout. Breakfast was good, buffet style and plenty of choice. Rooms were ok, bit dated but it did the job for 2 nights. Water pressure is very good so the shower was brilliant. Parking spaces are tight, but plenty of them so any size car can find somewhere to park. Parking is paid for via reception. WiFi was easy to access and quite quick. Overall a good hotel to stay on business and I would stay again next time I am in the area.

We checked into the Hilton Croydon, as it was slightly higher in price then others in the area we thought we would get a better service. The cost was fairly high for this area as it’s pretty much a dump when you arrive surrounded by industrial estates. We arrived and had to pay £10 for parking daily! The car park is half empty complete rip off. Needed one hourly earlier check in - another £15 (terrible as the room was empty and ready). Arrived in the room, which is tiny, no room for my children to move around. The room overlooks the empty car park which we are paying for although the road is free. The room is so basic we may as well booked the travel lodge it’s no different except the insane price. In the room they don’t provide water! They actually said they would charge us for water. The price of the hotel they can at least provide a bottle of water. After complaining we were finally given some water. Tried calling reception and no one would answer I then went down to complain. The staff were rude and unhelpful. They did not have another room available and I complained we were only given 2 towels for a family of 4. They were not apologetic and an hour later they brought up extra towels. The towels are discoloured and look worn out. I asked to be moved to another room they don’t have any available but I can upgrade tomorrow for an additional £80! I mean these are now central London prices. I spoke with your customer service advisor who agreed this service is awful. They tried calling the hotel, surprise surprise no one answers the phone. I never complain and use Hiltons often but this time this has really impacted on wanting to book any other hotels in this chain. The staff here basically palmed me off and said booking need to respond to my complaints. Very poor service for the price. I will probably check out and book somewhere else. To top it all off the air con doesn’t work and the windows don’t open. They advertise a new restaurant refurb, except it doesn’t do lunch or dinner! Again false advertising. Which meant I had to go out to get dinner for my family. The breakfast is £15 pp again as though we are in central London. Avoid this hotel, uncaring, poor customer experience - not family friendly.

I was a little bit dubious about booking this hotel because it was so cheap (£29 per night) and because of some of the bad reviews I had read. I booked the hotel for one night anyway as I just needed a bed for the night and was prepared to have a less than pleasant stay, however my stay was not bad at all. I was able to park my car a couple of streets away for free from 6pm up until 9am (but always check the road signs or ask a member of staff what the parking times are. On arrival the reception staff were friendly and helpful. I liked the fact that you couldn't use the elevator without your electronic room key as I am not complacent about security. My room was on the 7th floor and being so high up I couldn't hear the traffic but I could hear the tv in the room next door but it wasn't loud enough to prevent me from getting to sleep. Even though the room was smaller than I was used to, I was able to walk around the bed. And that was it... no table or chair but there was a fixing on the wall where you could hang your clothes and bag. The heater was excellent and mine was able to get up to 32°C/89°F as it was a cold night outside around -2°C/28°F but my room was warm in just a few minutes. The room was clean and so was the bed linen and had quite a nice graphic stenciled on the wall of the London skyline. I know I'm probably being fussy here but the tv which was excellent by the way was way too big for the room. I suppose some people would love this but it really did strain my eyes. Turning down the brightness helped a little but I ended up turning it off in the end. The bathroom was small but clean with a large liquid soap dispenser on the sink. I was able to get the temperature I wanted on the shower in about 30 seconds. The shower curtain didn't pull all the way round because it was incorrectly fitted and I just left it as it was. The bed was comfortable and my nights sleep was undisturbed. There was a kettle and microwave oven you could use downstairs so I just heated up a subway sandwich I had left over from the night before. In conclusion: Yes it is very basic but if you just need a bed for a night or two (probably not much longer) then in my experience you can't go far wrong here. I have seen some of the nightmare reviews but that was not my experience.

I have lived in this hotel for countless days. The decoration is quite loud, and the sound insulation is a bit general. Every morning, someone knocks on the door insanely and asks if you want to clean the room. The traffic is quite convenient. It’s just a straight walk out of the train station. But I feel a little dark and dark feeling around me. I feel quite safe. Go to london Victoria for about 18 minutes. There is a supermarket downstairs.

Great place to stay . Friendly reception team making check in process fast and sufficient . Professional team members and comfortable rooms. The only little thing regarding Hilton American pancakes there were not abatable at breakfast and cutlery require to look in too different male as very outdated . Apart of that highly recommended and good value for money
