Overall the experience was good. Having been coming to Breck for 20 years. Have stayed at many high end resorts at more than double this price. For value this was a good choice. Not outstanding but ok Pros: Great location, excellent observed Covid cleaning procedures, good sized rooms updated decor, generally an accommodating front desk Cons: Tight parking, front desk who says-no problem even when you point out others are parking in your lot. While dog friendly-and it smells like a dog motel with barking dogs. We have dogs but we don’t drag them along because we care about them and our fellow travelers. Resorts generally don’t permit them but motel level travelers are less responsible impacting the travel/dog experience for everyone. Just understand that this is part of the deal.

Wife and I were upgraded to Unit #311 at Trails End on a recent trip to Breckenridge, after we were originally booked at Breck Inn. It was definitely a good upgrade! The property is in a perfect location just off Village Way. We didn't ski on this latest visit, but we could tell lifts were within walking distance as people were walking with all their gear toward Peak 9 on the two mornings we were there. My favorite was the two hot tubs; one inside and one outside, but both right next to each other. It's great to have the choice. Changing rooms are located up the staircase that shares the indoor hot tub room. They are not marked so you just have to wonder what's up those stairs. Two changing rooms with showers are located up there. There is also a sauna, which I'm not going to talk about since I'm not a fan, but I know people do like those things for some reason. As I said in the title, we had Unit #311. It is a 1-bedroom condo with a queen bed and a sleeper sofa. There is also a full kitchen with everything you need to make meals...except for cooking spray. Be sure to buy cooking spray when you go to City Market to buy food if you plan on making meals in the condo. This particular condo has seen a partial upgrade in decor. The kitchen has been fully upgraded with new flooring and cabinets! The dishwasher and range all appear to be older and the microwave appears to be new. I did bring this to the property company's attention that the refrigerator was starting to go on the fritz. The freezer worked just fine, but the fridge area only got cold-ish even on the highest setting. Hopefully this got fixed after we checked out and the next renters checked in. The rest of the unit hasn't seen any upgrades since, quite possibly, the 80s! It is 100% carpet even in the bathroom and the carpet definitely needs replacing. While the TV in the living room is new, there is still a very old CRT TV in the bedroom. The fireplace worked very well and is the primary source for heating the condo. All the units in this building have very good size balconies and ours had a table with chairs. Trails End is a nice place, easy walking to the lifts and easy walking to downtown. Bus lines also pass right by the building. It's one of those places where parking once and doing everything is a definite possibility.

Came to Breck for a long weekend with our family of 4 and cousins from all over the country. We had room W312 for 9 of us altogether. This was a beautifully upgraded condo with 4 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms. 3 rooms have queens and 4th room has 2 bunk beds with a full bed on bottom bunk. There was also a pullout sofa bed. We could have easily slept 12 people. Kitchen was well stocked and had coffee maker, filters, cream/sugar and 2 days of coffee packets to start. Front desk was helpful, you can store your skis/snowboards at front also. There are 3 hot tubs, heated pool, wet and dry sauna-all on the first floor and well worth using after a hard day on the mountain. They do get crowded around 4:30-5, so get there early! The location of this property is excellent, no car needed. You can walk to Main Street, the village and gondola to peak 7/8 all within 5 minutes. You can also ski right back to property on the 4 o’clock run. This was the perfect place for our large group for 3 nights! I will happily return when I come back to Breckenridge.

Overall I enjoyed my stay and their customer service was TOPS. They did fall short on a few areas, but I would stay here again nevertheless. Cleanliness: It was apparent that the condo had been cleaned, but the bathroom had hair in the shower and on the bath towels. Everything else was clean, even inside the microwave and refrigerator. They came back mid-week to empty garbage and refresh the towels, that was nice. Location: A little outside of the town center, but the area is generally pretty small and it's walk-able just about anywhere. There are also free shuttle stops everywhere. These guys ALSO have their OWN shuttle which they make available to guests from 8am-10pm - all you have to do is call. I used the shuttle service several times and was very pleased. If you are there to ski, they are located at the bottom of the 4 o'clock trail which made getting home at the end of the day really easy and convenient. Amenities: The ski lockers are a real treat - not having to bring your equipment inside all wet and snowy is a huge plus. The lodge/lobby has a fireplace which was nice to get toasty after skiing. The hot tubs were also a nice treat, right outside the lodge. Washer/dryer in the basement was a nice plus so I did not have to pack dirty stinky clothes in my suitcase. $2/wash and $1/dry and they even give you the detergent for free. Comfort: The beds and sheets were comfortable. The bath towels were a little scratchy but not terrible. The condo unit in general was very small and felt a little cramped at times. We had a 2-bedroom, which also had a pull-out couch so you can technically fit 6 adults in there. But with only ONE bathroom, it was a challenger. We only had 3 people (me, my hubby and my brother). Especially when we were all trying to get out the door in the morning to hit the slopes - it was a slowly revolving door of smelly encounters! A few more notes: 1. If you or someone you are traveling with will be unhappy if there is not TV or internet then this is not the place for you. We had trouble with cable and internet all week. Maintenance gladly and quickly came out when we called, but it was an inconvenience. Fortunately we were mostly busy doing things outdoors and conversing, so the cable was not an issue. Of course, no one likes being without wiFi though. 2. Heat is provided by electric baseboard heating. In my experience electric heat is always extra dry and finicky. This was no exception. It was like there were only two settings - arctic or boiling. 3. The way the units are set up around the building, you really have very little privacy and it's noisy just about all of the time. Housekeeping did leave ear plugs but it was not all that pleasant to hear the constant clunkety-clunk of snow boots parading up and down the walkways and stairs all day. 4. As I said before, the customer service was really the best. They were available from the moment we booked our stay all the

We stayed at Mountain Thunder for a week while our three kids were having virtual school during COVID. We booked through Expedia (we are Expedia Gold members and this is an Expedia VIP property) and received an upgrade to a larger condo on arrival. We were very pleased with the upgrade. The condo "townhome" was in excellent condition and well equipped. The internet was fast and supported three concurrent video conferences at once. The pedestrian access to Main Street restaurants and shopping is ideal. A couple of notes: 1. Main street is closed to vehicle traffic during COVID. Additionally, the city is building a new parking deck across from the entrance to the lodge. This resulted in heavy traffic on North Park Avenue and made entering and exiting the lodge an exercise in patience. 2. The $35 a night resort fee needs to be adjusted down to a lower rate during COVID. The resort fee includes: Shuttle service Ski shuttle Business center/computer access Internet access In-room coffee Charging the standard $35 a night fee when there is no housekeeping during COVID, the in-room coffee provided is weak and flavorless and the gym is closed is a bit egregious. The public grills are off limits, and using the shuttle, especially when the weather is nice, seems risky during COVID. We did make use of the internet and the main pool area, but that was it. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if the resort fee policy and inclusions were adjusted to reflect the current health crisis.

This was our second year to stay at One Ski Hill Place for our family ski trip. We have a 7 and 6 year old that we brought with us (younger three stayed at home). The place is amazing. The staff is excellent— From Brian and Dylan inside to Nate and Andrew outside as ski valets. Everything was great. The location is amazing. If you are skiing with kids, stay here. The ability to rent skis next to the hotel and valet each day is unbeatable. The hotel has a great pool and hot tub. Getting into town is super easy using the shuttle service or courtesy car. The bowling alley provided tons of fun. The nightly cookies and hot chocolate were a favorite of the kids. The rooms are incredible. We had a two bedroom and had my wife and two kids and a friend of my wife’s for 2 of our 4 nights. We had plenty of space. If you are wondering if it is worth it, it is. Book your stay and enjoy.

Disclaimer this is my first trip to Breckenridge and it is early in the season so I try to be extremely fair and transparent. Please look at the number of excellent reviews and when they stayed, also the possibility they are NOT skiers. We booked early in the season - Independence chair was closed. If that chair is closed you do not have ski out! You can take the gondola down to Peak 8, but if that chair is closed I would stay at Peak 8 or Peak 9 to begin with. The ski in is a very nice trail that puts you right at the property, take Claimjumper down and follow the signage. If you are a skier, we stayed in Unit 7106 that is very close to the ski lockers and same level as fitness center with a steam room. The room is nice and spacious too. If the rest of the review does not discourage you I would consider asking for this Unit. Someone else posted about this unit too discussing roll out bed, etc.. Now for the negative stuff. Front desk was not helpful on more than one occasion. I was going to tell you all of the details, but Bryan the manager spoke to me and assured me that the front desk will go over how to handle hotel guests. So in the future if you have issues with the front desk reach out to Bryan. In summary, front desk needs training in customer service. There are not amenities you would expect for a property that looks this nice. No robes, no food, and you do have access to One Ski Hill and their amenities, but my advice is just go stay at the sister property. If the chair is working this is a great ski in and ski out location. Location 5 stars. Service right now 3 stars. Cleanliness 4 because of the housekeeping issue.
