This time I stayed in five different hotels in Chiang Mai for five days. Generally speaking, as a hotel in the ancient city, it can be said to be very cost-effective. I will come next time. The residents are basically European and American. You can choose several set meals for breakfast, with a little more western style, good taste, not very large quantity, fruit and coffee. The location is near Wat Phra Singh. Let's walk past Wat Phra Singh for five minutes. There is a roast chicken restaurant in the alley outside the hotel. There are many people queuing every day, passing by but not going in. The hotel staff are very enthusiastic. The interior decoration of the hotel is small and exquisite. There is a swimming pool but it is relatively small, suitable for a dip. The room is also small and exquisite. It is just right for one or two people to live in. The crowd is not suitable. The bathroom is clean and there is a bathtub, but the bath water is not too hot. The room has a small balcony with good lighting, but the room facing the street may be a bit noisy.

We were pleasantly surprised with how much we enjoyed this hostel. The rooms were very clean and tidy and the towels are replaced each day. The ladies who run the guesthouse are lovely and will cook for you and wash your clothes for very cheap. A big selling point for this guesthouse is that they offer you unlimited bottled water which was brilliant for me as I suffer in the heat at times. The location is great and the outside section is very social and allows you to meet other travellers. Highly recommended.

Due to the epidemic in Chiang Mai during the off-season in July, I saw reviews on the Internet that it was good to stay. 1. The discount price for low-season stay is very beautiful; 2. The hotel is small and has more than forty rooms, the layout is very warm, the rooms are also very new, it is said that the new decoration in 2019 (no smell) 3. Breakfast is very simple, but adults and children Satisfied; 4. Every afternoon in the hotel courtyard, there is a free neck and back massage for guests for 10 minutes; 5. The hotel is in the central alley of Chiang Mai’s old city, walking to the biggest weekend night market pedestrian street for 3 minutes; 6. If you choose to be in Qing Family trips with parents and children living in downtown Mai are very suitable; extra beds are available, suitable for bringing children; 7. The swimming pool is 1.2-1.4 meters deep and requires parents to accompany it all the time; 8. The parking lot faces the street alleys outside the hotel and has 24-hour security.

I really like what Han Han said, I wish you stay with everything you like. [Happy] In this Lanna-style hotel, it took four days. There is no large infinity pool, but three breakfasts with new designs. There is no elevator until the click of the wooden staircase does not affect the resting passenger. Hemp yukata, scent in the bathroom will make the mood become dry salt aroma, letter cookies and dried guava! Every detail screams my liking! The double-layer sound insulation of the room is excellent, and the balcony windows are the hustle and bustle occupied by the car. I like the large padded chairs on the balcony. In the morning, by the cold wind that has not been heated, In the afternoon curled up waiting for the sunset to go down from the temple roof in the distance, Good evening to start playing games to cheer for the gecko to catch mosquitoes. The smiles of the three shop assistants are unforgettable warmth. Enter the door and hand over the ice juice and towel, The whole world is saying that the Thai language spoken by the Thai people is the national gun, and I only appreciate the gentleness of the accent that this country brings!

This hostel is fantastic, so much so that I'm about to book an extra night since I'm having such a great time. The pool area is lovely, the rooms are cozy and not overcrowded, they offer free breakfast (albeit simple - toast, coffee, tea - enough to get your day started), and the staff and owner are so kind and welcoming! When it comes to staying in hostels there are 3 things that are important to me - location, cleanliness, and overall vibe of the place (pools are also always a plus). The location is perfect, in old town close to the ornate temples, great food, and bustling nightlife - yet still far away enough that it's chill and quiet. It also has a spectacular view of the mountains from the street! The hostel is incredibly clean and the bathrooms are very nice and feel well taken care of. If you stay in hostels, you know this is a rare and cherished quality! The vibe is great! It's not a super party hostel, but it does have some slight party vibes come sundown. Not the blackout-on-a-hostel-bar-crawl vibes of the super party hostels in Chiang Mai (thank goodness). The people that stay here are all very cool and friendly. This place is a good one to meet interesting backpackers from all over the world. And the best part? They give you a stamp card so if you stay for 5 nights then you get the 6th one for free! Highly recommend it!

After my usual place to stay, across the road from Tapae Gate, turned from budget to boutique hotel and with it the price level, I walked down Tapae Road in order find a “new old place”. And I found the Tapae Inn Hotel. It is old and worn and if you like fancy hotels, you would not be happy here. But for me it is good enough and nothing beats the price in this location (380 Bhat/Night). When I don’t sleep, I am out exploring the town any way. That it is very close to my favourite Indian restaurant is just another plus. The halls and corridors are styled like a museum. They are packed with old advertisements, old newspaper articles and movie posters. Most of it comes from the 1960s and 70s. - Most rooms can be secured with an additional pad lock. - The WiFi internet in the room is really fast. - At least my room had hot shower and I think they all have. - Rooms are air-conditioned. - They sell a limited number of beverages from a fridge next to the reception. - The lady at the reception is very friendly and helpful. - The reception counter is open 24/7. - It is very close to the night market (2 minutes). - “Spices” Indian Restaurant is nearby (1 Minute). - Tapae Gate is 5 to 10 minutes away. - A small Tops supermarket is across the road. The lady that runs the reception desk is very friendly and the guy on night duty was very helpful and efficient when I had trouble with the air-conditioner at midnight. The next Soi leads you straight into the Chiang Mai China Town area (1 minute walking). There is a big, red sign pointing you in the right direction. An additional sign gives Information about other highlights of China Town. Hundreds of travel agencies in Chiang Mai call themselves “Tourist Information” in order to lure in travellers. The official tourist information office, run by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), is only 3 minutes away, on the same side of the road and near the river.

I would highly recommend this hostel. It is approx a 10 minute walk to the old town, although most places are accessible within a approx 25 min walk. The hostel itself is really chilled out and great if you’re looking for somewhere that is quiet and you can actually sleep etc. The rooms were spacious, with a large locker in the downstairs. The bathrooms were cleaned every morning. I personally didn’t find the shower being a wet room an issue. There was tea, coffee and biscuits accessible all day. With bread out in the mornings to toast. The staff were lovely. There is a seating area outside to chill, as well as a balcony and small sofa area upstairs.

Although the hotel is not large, but the room is wide, the entire hotel is very elegantly decorated, with Lanna characteristics, but the large color of the main color makes people feel comfortable, not like the traditional Lanna color is very heavy. The whole corridor was clean and tidy, stayed for three nights, and the room was clean and barefoot every day. Did not buy breakfast, thinking that I would sleep late and would go out for food. The location is very good, although it is necessary to take a short walk, but to go to Chiang Mai Gate, Tha Pae Gate, Changkang Road are walking ten or twenty minutes, very convenient to save money, suitable for couples to travel. There is a construction site opposite the building that will be noisy during the day, but also go out during the day, overall satisfied, cost-effective! recommend!

I stayed in Room 4 on the 2nd floor, I was scared when I was sleeping by myself, so I turned on the light, but this was a street light right in front of the window, so the room was bright with that light, so I personally liked it. Location: This is the place I booked to go to Catsuan, so it's a 5-minute walk to Catsuan or 10 minutes? Anyway, it was easy to walk around, but the other places are a bit unclear to walk around. Breakfast: This is a restaurant How many mosquitoes were in the room, instead of a liquid home mat? I have that, I don't know the effect; Lol There is a front desk, a cafe, and a breakfast room on the 1st floor, but the two hosts seem to be sisters or friends. When I checked out, it seemed like my mother was out, it looks like a Chinese family. Anyway, the host is very friendly ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ It is because of the host if you visit here again Please note that the front desk is open until 8 PM, not 24 hours. There is a snack bar that is open 24 hours in the breakfast room, and there was an ant because the snacks were sweet. I have the same one, but I ate one, but when I return to Korea, I keep thinking about it, I should eat more then, ha.... *facility Dryer O Air conditioner O Netflex x YouTube O Shower O (water pressure is weak, washbasin is thin) Elbe X (Likes up when the carrier goes up, when it comes down, yo saps) Door latch O (Eun-geun important because she is alone) My departure time is evening, so I thought that the last day was just Woo-nim, but I had nothing to do until evening, and I wanted to end the trip in a leisurely way. It would be good for short-term stays and those who are not good at the dorm and go out and walk around. If you are staying for a long time and want to stay at the hostel and want a hotel-class cleanliness, it would be better to think about it again. That is all!

Slippers are only provided once. No post-fill. Equal to one week, I didn't comb my hair. Hotel service: Very good. The last day, the children's lobby broke the leg. Someone immediately sent a medical packet. Very good. Surroundings: Good location Attractions Night market Within 15 minutes walk There are fruit shops and catering restaurants around. The first time I traveled alone, so I looked for a hotel with a lot of Chinese people. After I went there, the front desk was very friendly. I asked for a higher-level quiet room and changed it for me. There was no impatience. Each door to the ancient city is about 20 minutes walk, next to a massage shop and a bird's nest shop. The room is almost the same as that in China for 7 days. I am quite satisfied that there are windows that can be opened and ventilated. The clothes are dried by the sun in the afternoon and the room does not have moldy smell. It is good to stay here for 4 nights. (The picture is sunrise outside the window, hee hee)

There is a small refrigerator that can buy some cold drinks. Walking through the river is the ancient city. There is a sister meeting Chinese in the front desk. I had two wonderful experiences of staying here this month and was enchanted by the room I stayed in and the spectacular view of the Gold Buddha. I fell in love with my beautiful room and I would 100% recommend this gorgeous place to anyone wanting a peaceful, clean, gorgeous place to stay. They give you new water every day (in glass bottles NOT plastic, HALLELUJAH! finally, so.much.plastic.everywhere. I digress.) The location is PERFECT. Right at the border into the Old City, super near the cool bar North Gate, near a 7/11 and near a pharmacy and the hospital if necessary. The fantastic man who runs it, O/Sirapong is caring, kind, fantastic, a lovely person and goes above and beyond to help with absolutely anything you need. Breakfasts also had varieties of meals in a menu which I thought was quite generous because normally breakfasts can be quite standard. I loved staying here and would definitely return here which is why I came back twice.

I booked this because the hotel booked before was full on the last day. In general: the advantages are outstanding, the disadvantages are fatal. Let me talk about the advantages: First, the location is good, quiet in the middle of the street, there are three exits in the alley, one is the Sunday night market, the other is the Three Kings Memorial Tower, there are many snack bars in the three exits, and there are also 711 nearby. In the city center, all places in the city are within walking distance. The second is very clean, no matter the rooms, corridors or stairs are spotlessly clean, and the third is that there is an elevator. Compared with most hotels in the city, there is no elevator. Smaller is fine. Disadvantages: First of all, it is too inconvenient to take a bath. The water heater is a kind of electric water heater that overheats. It should be turned off when it is used and adjusted (note that it is turned off). The water temperature is troublesome and not hot. Secondly, the shower area is small and the water will be good. A large amount of water flowed down the shower curtain to the ground, and there was no mop, which made the scene very busy. Third, it was too disturbing to not let the laundry. Fourth, the quilt was very thick, and the air conditioner was turned on to the lowest level. It was still too hot to sleep. I obviously felt an internal fire when I got up. If the above problems can be resolved, it is worth staying again

It takes more than ten minutes to walk to Thapae Gate. When you turn out, you will find the Zhoutian Night Market. Within 100 meters, you will find restaurants, convenience stores, and horses and chickens! If you are afraid of noisy sleeping, please inform the front desk in advance not to face the street room. This place has loads of pro's but also a few cons. Pros: The bed was the most comfortable and largest we have slept in since being away, the rooms are huge, the shower is excellent and the Wi-Fi is very good. There is also a safe in the rooms. Location was central in the old town. Cons: our room (3a) was right next to a school. The kids are very noisy but we were already up so it didn't bother us too much. After we went down for breakfast we couldn't hear the kids at all, so I think it was just in our room. The breakfast was awful, but it was included so may be just go elsewhere. The only thing on offer was eggs and toast, the fried eggs were stone cold and not cooked well, and there was only 1 small toaster for all of the guests so we had to wait a lot. Neutral review of the staff, they were ok but you could tell they didn't really want to be there. Although it sounds like a lot of cons, the pros far outweigh them and we'd recommend this place for a home away from home.

Except not being able to make an appointment. Will have the opportunity to come again. I would like to make a comment. Stayed at this hotel again after four years. The location is easy to find on Ningman Road. There are 7-11 and drug stores at the intersection. There are many online red shops nearby. After all, there is no need to worry about eating on Ningman Road. The hotel reception has more Cantonese speaking staff than before. The room is still very good, big enough, personally prefer to stay on the second floor room next to the pool. Because there are more trees in the hotel, it is more important to take good measures to prevent mosquitoes. Squirrels can also be seen in the hotel. Breakfast is the only drawback, I feel that there is not much choice. You will hear the sound of the plane flying over, but the room is better soundproofed, and it will not be noisy in the room. The location of the hotel is very good. The Chedi Luang Temple is to the north. It only takes 2 or 3 minutes to walk to Thapae Gate. The decoration inside the hotel has cultural characteristics. The two young girls at the front desk are very enthusiastic and speak good Chinese. There is no problem in communication. Hot water and coffee are provided in the lobby. The room is much bigger than imagined. The two beds in the room can also accommodate a long sofa and two single wooden sofas. It is already very spacious, but there is also a special cloakroom with a table with a long mirror. The bathroom is a bit small, but it's enough~ There are two air conditioners in the room, and one is enough. The hotel does not allow laundry to dry clothes, but there is a place to hang underwear after washing. Disadvantages: Toiletries are not provided; the hotel looks clean and tidy as a whole, but the sheets are dirty and not cleaned, so I don’t want to score high; the air-conditioning host is loud and the room is very noisy; the bathroom light and the ventilation fan are the same switch. In fact, Kane and Eunjiao are the same shop, this is the one, and the pool on the cover is on the second floor. The whole is a baroque style. The hotel breakfast cannot be said to be particularly rich, but it is fair enough. There are curry noodles, fried rice, fried noodles, in exchange, and freshly ground coffee. There is an elevator and you can take it to Ningman Road for free. The location is relatively quiet. If you care about the sound of planes taking off and landing, don't live in this one. Go to the third store by the river. As for the locality, what I want to say is that it takes only three minutes to come in from the side of the road, but the road is still noisy, you can try it. If you don’t understand anything, you can ask the front desk, but not everyone at the front desk speaks English because it works in shifts. During the day, the front desk will accompany two people, one in English and the other in Chinese. If you come in the afternoon and you happen to encounter the front desk who can’t speak Chinese, you can find the hotel brother outside. This time the resort is super satisfied! First of all, the service is good. We stayed for 5 days. Arrival and departure will arrange a vehicle airport shuttle. Secondly, the male waiter wearing glasses at the hotel where we checked in gave us a very detailed introduction, what facilities the hotel has, swimming pool, spa, table football, billiards, bar, time to time is very detailed, and also to the room. We gave an introduction, which drinks and snacks are available, which are free and which are charged very intimately! Another amazing thing is that one day we came back to the city late and had dinner directly at the hotel. It was almost better than any one found in the ancient city and the quality was very high. Must try! The rooms are also very comfortable, small and fresh and Nordic. In addition, the pool is very clean, which is very important for resort hotels! The environment is also good, the overall is very good! I don't think the location of the hotel is a problem at all, it is very convenient and cheap to use grab! I am very satisfied as an ascending Virgo! Other small details and these ratios are not important at all.

If you're looking to enjoy an evening sauna or be in a gay environment, you can do that here, but I would advise against booking a room in the guesthouse. Get a much better room elsewhere and come to Club One Seven on a day pass, which I think was only 150 Baht. Rooms are very basic and much better deals for the price are all over the place in Chiang Mai. (I paid more than $100/night Canadian – about 2,350 Baht – per night for one of Club One Seven's largest rooms. I had the one nearest the entrance on the ground floor. My biggest complaint with Club One Seven was loud dance music way past midnight on the night before I had a morning flight back to Canada. This was on a Tuesday night. You would think that a weeknight would not be a particularly loud night, but at Club One Seven, you can never tell. This was the loudest night during my five-night stay in December 2019. My requests to turn the music down were ignored and I was told that there were paying customers in the sauna than in my room so the music would stay at the volume it was. There was no general manager of any sort that I could see during my five days. Staff seemed to have their own areas that they were assigned to. People doing music simply could not have cared less. There needs to be coherent oversight of the entire operation. The sauna itself has a large dark-room maze area, so if that is your thing, there is that. The place also has a dry sauna that is hot. Its wet sauna has a door that can't close fully so it is never much more than mildly warm. One ridiculous sign in my bathroom read, "Our guesthouse is over 130 years old therefore our pipes are narrow and fragile. We request that all toilet paper and condoms be packed in the covered trash so the pipes don't get blocked. Please help us protect our home." (I will try to upload a photo) Now, they don't really mean that you can't flush toilet paper, but the estimate that the hotel room building is 130 years old may well be true. Walls are thin, as are ceilings. So you hear noise from other rooms. There are few electrical outlets, sometimes power goes out, and lights generally are dim. The room safe is small and is not connected to anything, (see photo that I plan to upload) so it is not really secure in that regard. Anyone could easily walk off with the safe. Mosquito nets line the bed as the place is by the river. It is nice to be able to socialize with other gay men at breakfast and through the day. The sun is present in the breakfast area but not by the pool. So morning is the time to tan at the restaurant by the river, which has a pleasant and tranquil view. About the only reason to stay here for me was morning chats with other gay travellers and being able to be naked in the sun. Other travellers and I agreed that a better layout would be for the pool to be where the restaurant is so there would be some sun by the pool. There are many employees and they keep busy. That means vacuuming the gym every mor

Nimmanhaemin Road Area
This hostel is the best accommodation in my trip life! First, through I stay here, Tony who is host asked us plan and give us very useful tips. Second, the hostel’s location is very good. The convenience mart(seven-eleven) locate around 2 minutes by walk, cheap and delicious noodle restaurant is around 3 minutes. Above all, the hostel is next to road, so it’s easy to go there by any tuktuk or thuntaeu(I don’k know that’s exact spelling) but the room is quiet! Third, the room is clear and quite, services are good(for example, breakfast, given water everyday, security ect...) but cheap! Forth, tony is very good at English. Shortly,I just want to say like this.”Why aren’t you reservation?”

Chiangmai Old City
Breakfast time is up to 10 o'clock, breakfast is not much! The room is not very big, it feels a little difficult to add a bed, we brought the children without an extra bed! The location of the hotel is very good, downstairs is the weekend night market, go out and walk a bit to the right is Thapae Gate! The hotel has no parking lot! I dropped something and returned to the hotel room midway. I found that the hotel staff took off their shoes to clean the room, and several people cleaned it together. Suddenly I felt that the 20 baht tip was a bit too small. My phone dropped on the table in the room. Moved! The hotel swimming pool water is a bit cold, we didn't go swimming, but I saw that the hotel staff cleaned the pool every day and installed the pool water. It is estimated to be tested!
