The cozy cottage is an incredible charming place to stay In ITB close to everything! So whether you’re in town for an event, for work, or just to enjoy Raleigh and all it has to offer you will not be disappointed with this wonderful home. Enjoy the large dining area and fully stocked kitchen to have those fun dinners at home, the open floor plan is excellent for entertaining and enjoying everyone’s company :-) There are three nice sized bedrooms and closets. A master bedroom with king bed, a second bedroom with a queen bed and a third bedroom with a full bed and desk which can be used as a great office space to work from home. The full bathroom has marble floors and shower walls perfect to relax in at the end of the day or take a long hot bath! With a washer and dryer at your convenience, toiletries and linens provided as well there’s nothing you need but to bring yourself to the cozy cottage. Enjoy the fire pit in the backyard that is fully fenced and pet friendly and kid friendly :-) enjoy the firepit too!! And the neighborhood is is as quaint as it comes with wonderful pet friendly streets to walks around, And several restaurants and bars and coffee shops are within walking distance only a few blocks away! Everything is close by five points and Glenwood south, the NC State and Downtown are all a 5 minute drive and the airport is about 15 min and RTP is a short drive as well :) The Cozy cottage is pet friendly as well. They hotel was very clean and staff was very nice. I don’t recommend booking through Trip.com. I booked and prepaid several days before arriving and the room that I had booked was unavailable. The hotel said they reached out to trip.com to let them know that I wouldn’t have a room and to contact me. Instead I got confirmation emails stating my room was available for check in. The hotel was very nice and helped me get an available room with not additional cost but trip.com refused to do any kind of refund for they different room.

In general, it’s a bad experience of staying this hotel. Won’t come back anymore unless there are improvements. Pros: room is spacious and good location for a stopover. Cons: I stayed in room #105. 1. Poor lighting at the living room area and the front door area. Only the lighting in bathroom is bright. 2. Very noisy that I wasn’t able to sleep at all. Non stop noises from the upstairs and neighbors. Especially the sound of toilet flushing. Was like several minutes a loud flushing of toilet at around 3:20am onwards. The sound of toilet flushing of my room is also very loud. 3. The receptionist at the evening forgot to add comments of late checkout of my booking. The next day when I back to hotel for packing but the door card was expired. But the receptionist in the day time helped me to figure out.

The hotel is too stingy! The water flow is deliberately adjusted to be very small, as thin as a pencil, and it takes half a day to rub the towel. The water tank in the toilet was also working intermittently, and the sliding door of the shower room would slide open automatically when closed, so I had no choice but to use something to hold it up. I don’t even know how the four stars came about? Maybe it's just that the external environment of the hotel is good, but it's just fake! Will never stay at this hotel again.

I enjoyed the pool and the A/C was very good in the room. I had a balcony that overlooked the road and shopping center. Balcony king room looks exactly as advertised. The room was quiet and the sheets and towels were clean. Appreciated the refrigerator and microwave in the room. The ceiling had an uneven plastering done, but it did not affect my stay. The balcony has a simple two chair and table set, nice to have a drink on during a warm night. However, there is not a great view as this hotel is right off the road toward the city. Breakfast ends at 9 am, I wish they would change it to 10. I did not bother to wake for breakfast the next morning so I don’t really know what they had except yogurt, coffee, and a pancake making machine. Overall was a great stay and the staff is kind.

It was not a bad place to stay, though we only ate three times for breakfast, 1 the last day which was free due to plane cancelation so they gave my daughter and I free breakfast but the other two times were 1 comp'd that a friend received for three people in which the other was paid for by a friend. Needless to say, I got charged $45 for one day of the breakfast which likely was because the waitress made us put our room #, though she said she understood our meals were comp'd. Sadly even after calling the hotel, speaking to one person who then sent me to the finance manager whom I left a message with but still hasn't called back in almost a week. Frustrating to say the least.

Can't say the hotel was too bad. However I can say the location is somewhat sketchy. Directly outside of the hotel their is alot of activity going on which is needless to say very questionable. Possible drug deals, ************ and drug doing. There is a gas station/convenience store right there on the premises which too draws a large crowd. However the rooms were ok. I just didn't like that I felt my car would be unsafe in there parking area due to the amount of questionable traffic. So sad to say I never took my luggage out the car in fear someone standing by would notice a bag or two and come back later to check it out. I did choose to leave but not because of the lodging. I think if you can get past the outdoor activity it may make for a nice rest spot.

Overall a decent place to stay if you're looking for a no frills room to stay the night. Elevator is not working so be prepared to climb stairs to the 2nd or 3rd floors unless you're lucky enough to secure a 1st floor room.

Our room was VERY clean upon entry and the front desk staff was pleasant. It is a red roof so as far as I know that brand does not offer breakfast normally but they do have coffee in the mornings at this location. I also liked that I was able to open our window to let in some fresh air. A lot of hotels you aren't able to open the windows at all since they are permanently installed.
