Hotels Near The Saucery In Mijas Review
Lets start with the good things. A lovely location in the hills with great views to the mountains beyond. Room was fine and we had a lovely verandah overlooking the 18th hole of Asia course. Spa was nice with decent indoor pool (winter) and steam and sauna. Staff overall were friendly especially in the hotel. Housekeepers did a great job and reception staff were lovely. However there were some downsides. The most disappointing part of the holiday was the sub standard food - breakfast was ok (Fresh mushrooms would be better than tinned) but the food on the menu for lunches and dinners was poor. We tried various dishes and all were lacking. Burgers, hot dogs and sandwiches were dry and stodgy - we had to return several dishes. Pasta not even hot (Golf Clubhouse) - came out so quickly that we presumed that these dishes are all pre-prepared and just heated in a microwave oven? We were even given a tiny sample dish in the downstairs restaurant by the waiter who did not explain what it was. Even my son who works as a waiter in a 5 star hotel in Scotland was shocked. We do not have Allergens fortunately - but this little dish had fish and something else in it. He never explained the dish nor asked if we were allergic to anything. This is a health and safety concern as it could easily lead to a guest having an allergic reaction. Finally the golf - as that was the main purpose of the trip. The Americas and Asia course are a bit crazy due to the ridiculous inclines both up and down. Many golfers at the resort of both sexes are plus 50 - so do not hit the ball far anyway. Add the inclines to this and you have a situation where many golfers take multiple shots to get the ball to the many elevated greens. This led to very slow play and sadly not a MARSHALL in sight? On one day we decided to stop our round before completing the first nine, as play was so ridiculously slow. I did ask to see the Manager at the Clubhouse and he seemed defensive although I was very polite. We explained the situation and he told me that there were marshalls. In 8 days of playing golf we NEVER SAW A SINGLE MARSHALL! If you are going to design such a steep course (Americas is especially steep) then you must have marshalls to stop golfers from holding up play. We come from the home of golf in Scotland - slow play is NOT TOLERATED. So please La Cala - listen to these comments and ensure that your marshalls, wherever they are hiding, do their job. On the good side we really enjoyed the EUROPA course and finished with a super round in fantastic weather with another British couple. We loved the layout and design of Europa and only the 18th could be considered in the "crazy golf" mould of the Americas course. In summary we enjoyed ourselves, as we always will. However the golf course management needs to improve and it cannot be hard to upgrade the standard of food in both the hotel and the clubhouse.
The English at the front desk is not particularly good. The buffet dinner is more cost-effective than the surrounding Italian restaurants. The daughter is 15 years old and counts as a child. In the hotel you can see the Mediterranean Sea. The hotel pool is very iced. It is recommended to put some towels next to the hotel. The night view around the hotel is beautiful, and there is a very meaningful museum.
The only hotel in the itinerary is more convenient to go to the next stop to travel to Cordoba. The director has a small car impact, less than 20 minutes to the city attractions, the hotel also has a free shuttle. Surprisingly, the lady happened to be a Hilton member, each person sent a bottle of water, and some other hotel service offers but no use. There is a big supermarket in the costa, but it is a break on Sunday.
The hotel is located in the heart of the old town, just 5 minutes walk from the Cathedral and the Royal Palace, and 15 minutes from Plaza de España. The terrace of the room is superb, large and has a great view, and the cathedral overlooks the cathedral at night. The breakfast is full, the garden bar is beautiful, there is a pianist playing live at night, and the piano teacher is very good at Chinese. It will have all the songs of Teresa Teng, playing sweetly for the children, singing and singing.
The hotel's breakfast is full of fruits, and the location is about 7 Euros from the old city center for rent. There is a water park next to it but it is not open in winter. One of the quadruple rooms booked is a sofa bed. The hotel bathroom design is good. Separate, the wash basin is also very convenient. The swimming pool is warm. The outdoor temperature in December is about 20 degrees. It is not cold at all in the evening.
There is no charge for parking the car in front of the hotel. I do not know where the paid parking lot written in the hotel description is. However, there are only a few parking spaces at the entrance of the hotel.
The breakfast was not varied and the dishes were not too clean.
The rooms are average, no surprises.
Compared to other accommodations on this trip, the cost is not high, but it is also possible that Seville itself is more expensive. Stayed in Seville for one night, it is not good to compare hotels in the same city.
Very good value for money, can be rated as a five-star hotel. The lobby has a sense of design and spaciousness. The receptionist is a gentleman in his 50s with very standard English; there is a swimming pool, and the rooms are not large or small. The standard room of nearly 30 square meters is fine. We took a train from Madrid to Seville and walked for 10 minutes to get to the hotel. The breakfast was full of fruit, and the big cherries had a large plate. Opposite the road is the British Palace shopping mall. There is a supermarket on the ground floor of the shopping mall. Take a taxi to the Plaza of Spain, the Royal Palace and other attractions about 4 kilometers, 6-10 euros. The local fruity wine at the hotel bar is great
Go to a hotel in Seville, where life is convenient, downstairs is a shopping mall, you can buy daily necessities and food, there is a large Dia convenience store. Did not have breakfast at the hotel, it was convenient to buy milk fruit in Dia. Suitable for children. It is the tallest building in Seville. There is a bus station downstairs, and a bus station across the river can go to the surrounding small towns. Sevilla is not very fluent in English, but the drivers know the building, it is recommended to save the picture to the phone to the driver, they will know that it is here.
Hotel location in the new area, parking is 15 euros a night, but free parking on the road outside the hotel, there are many taxis at the entrance of the hotel, take a taxi to the Royal Palace of Seville spent 7 euros, take the bus back about 30 minutes, the room The window is facing the interior of the hotel. There is no ventilation or landscape at all. It will be very hot. The bathtub design is very bad. There is no shower curtain. The shower will make the toilet water. Other facilities can also be used.
Hotel location is very convenient for many restaurants, go to the attractions to walk, in fact, the train station is not too far, because in the town can not stop for a long time can only stop at the underground parking lot of the town, parking fees are not cheap However, the safe space is also more spacious than the Granada parking lot. The hotel interior is very clean, and there is a rooftop pool and bar on the top floor, which is very suitable for a dazzling view.
Very clean! The hotel is a tall building. It is a very eye-catching building in the city of Seville. It is a barrel-shaped design with a patio in the middle. All rooms have exterior windows. The door of the room faces the corridor around the patio. Especially reasonable. The hotel is not in the Old Town, more than 1 km west is the Royal Palace and the main church (Old Town), less than 1 km south is the Plaza de Espana, and more than 1 km north is the train station. The Royal Palace and Plaza de Espana are both near the river. The city of Seville is not too big, and it is convenient to live in this location.
The hotel is very close to the train station. You can basically see the hotel when you leave the station. It is also very convenient to rent a car. The rental point is right in front of the train station. The rooms are small and the facilities are not new enough, which is acceptable for a day's temporary accommodation by train. Opposite the hotel are the supermarket and the appliance store, as well as Burger King. It is recommended to eat at two local restaurants next to Burger King. Basically, locals eat in the morning.
Located in the city centre. A moderate hotel very close to Plaza de Espana. Within walking distance to Prado San Sabastion bus station and San Bernada bus & train stations. 10 minutes walk to Royal Alcazar of Seville and Seville Cathedral. Check-in and check-out were easy handled by experience front office staff. Room was big and with basic facilities therein. Overall my stay was quite pleasant and comfortable. However, only two lifts are available for hotel guests and the size of lift is rather small.
The location is better, the hotel is more eye-catching, the highway is about ten minutes drive, the parking is more convenient, and the hotel will have a corresponding discount for parking fees. The city center is more congested, so it is recommended to park your car at the hotel, you can take a taxi to the city center and other attractions. It is very close to the Plaza de Espana, and you can go to the square to take a picture of the dusk or morning light, which is very beautiful.
The hotel was clean and tidy. The overall stay experience was very good! Will choose this next time
Perfect for rest. The place in this hotel is great. Officers are also very happy to help. The guest room is very elegant, with a huge and comfortable room. We will definitely live here next time
Hotel services in general, this four-five-star hotel in this one-month European trip, can be said to be the most unsatisfactory hotel. The room was small and the facilities were some years old. The old man also caught a cold because the hotel's central air conditioner was too cold for the first night. After that, the cough and fever continued for two weeks, and the trip was very painful. In addition, there was an unpleasant experience during the stay, which delayed the two-day trip. Because Ctrip did not write clearly the room type on the order, and the Chinese version of my confirmation form clearly stated the room type and specific information, but the English version did not write, and did not pay attention to the English version before departure, and did not notice, resulting in At the time of check-in, the hotel refused to arrange the room we booked, only to give the standard room, coordination for a long time no results, travel with the elderly at home, and let the elderly wait for a few hours, very guilty. After the hotel manager came out to coordinate, I was willing to provide Ctrip's order to them and agreed that I could take it as a credential to go with Ctrip's feedback. I also suggested that the proof is not their responsibility, and I would like to arrange it as much as possible in the next day. Baggage. From noon to communication at night, too tired, the first time to feedback Ctrip, Ctrip can not coordinate, let us first stay, willing to pay compensation for the next day to change the hotel or can negotiate with the hotel for the room we booked. Yes, the next day, several customer service contacts said that we had to coordinate, we had to wait, and then responded in a few hours. After a few round trips, the next day passed, and our two-day trip was delayed. This service is too difference. After that, the hotel still communicated well when we checked in on the first day, but only arranged a room adjustment. It is impossible to blame the hotel for the order. After returning to China, the complaint was Ctrip and the communication was resolved in the past two months. As an old customer, as a diamond customer, I feel a little disappointed.
This hotel is in the city center, convenient to go anywhere. The scenery from the window is good. The bathtub is really an added value. It was Valentine's Day, so I bought a rose, put the petals in the bathtub and took some pictures! Breakfast is good, and fruit tea is available in the lobby!
In my first business trip in months, I had an unremarkable stay at gorgeous One Shot Palacio Conde de Torrejon, where I was treated like a Royal. The fabulous hotel combines all the charm of a typical Andalusian home, the grandness of staying in a Palace with all its history, and the comforts of a deluxe boutique hotel. Delicious breakfast was served in my table and while I missed dinner, I noticed that restaurant is a hit with locals and visitors alike, as it was quite busy. Service was top notch, especially from the staff at Front Office who catered to my every need. I will definetely come back soon, but next time it will be for leisurem to show Seville to my son and enjoy the rooftop pool with a view.
On a business trip in Seville, during the weekend, relax in the ancient city by the weekend. The hotel is in the center of the ancient city, only 200m away from Seville Cathedral. There are many restaurants and bars on the side, the room is as seen on the picture. It is to see the kind of super-thinking, a little bit of the southern Spanish royal style ~ when it is just around 3 pm, the hotel began to provide free afternoon tea, breakfast is also provided free of charge. The front desk mm has a very warm, sweet smile and other ice face. The overall is nothing but expensive! I want to stay next time.
The location of the hotel is very good, right next to the Cathedral of Seville, 40 meters apart, you can reach the door.
This hotel should be considered a very old hotel, so the hotel equipment is very old, the equipment is not comfortable to use, no slippers, but on the first day of stay, I will give toothpaste and toothbrush, no kettle, etc., give my room on the first floor. Directly adjacent to the street, the windows are not easy to open and can only be illuminated by lights. The room has a moist smell. The air conditioner didn't heat, and there was no heating in the months to go, but it was very cold at night, so I had to ask the hotel to add a thin bed and a thick coat to sleep.
I feel that there is only one advantage of the lot, others are not recommended.
The hotel is in a good location. A taxi from the airport costs 25 Euros and takes about 20 minutes. The front desk needs to be lifted to the 1st floor (actually 2nd floor). The staff is very welcoming and speaks English well. The hotel is next to the home of the Seville team, and there is a shopping mall next to it. It is not far from the Ingles shops. You can reach the Seville Palace and Plaza de Espana in the Old Town by 2-3 stops. The 10 yuan card for subway buses has a discount. There is an EA special bus at the door to the airport. You can't swipe a card for 4 euros. There are also direct buses to the train station and coach station. Breakfast is rich in variety, but will be in line late, the room is comfortable and warm, clean and tidy, there are sofa beds, can accommodate multiple people, overall is good and will stay again.
The house is a four-star house, but the core is Samsung .... Regardless of sanitation or facilities, I think it ’s almost the same as an ordinary Samsung hotel ... And to be honest, the location is also awkward. It is not convenient to go from the airport to the hotel. It ’s not so easy either walking 3km plus bus for 1h, or turning pure bus for 2h (you need to drive around a large circle around the old city ...), your flight is a little late at night and you think of the hotel or you will take a taxi or Just go down the street in the middle of the night or wait for half an hour to wait for a half-hour bus. (Most buses have reduced frequency after 9pm) ..... the price is really cheap ... but you just find The convenient Samsung hotel next to the train station is not over ...
Hotel location is good, very close to the old town, the hotel room is very clean and warm, book a comfortable view room, so there is a small balcony, the view is good! In short, the room was very clean and new and very warm. like very much! See how breakfast is tomorrow morning. The front desk service is also very good! Yes, there are hot water bottles and tea bags!
The location of the hotel is close to the edge of the ancient city, and it is very convenient to go to the railway station and the sights in the ancient city. The room we booked does not include breakfast. When the train arrived earlier, the hotel arranged the room directly, but the room was like a newly renovated one, which was very big, which caused me some headaches. The hotel is required to change rooms, but there is no empty room to wait until after three o'clock to change the room. Hotel service is not bad, the room has two bottles of drinking water every day. The room is clean and sanitary. The overall comparison is okay.
As shown, the hotel is very beautiful! Every detail inside is amazing! Very literary, very retro feeling! The room is large, the lower level is the living room, the sofa can be opened to form a large bed, and the upper level has a super comfortable double bed! Inside is the dressing room and a very large bathroom! The restaurant has two parts, indoor and outdoor, and the breakfast in the small courtyard outside is very comfortable! A wide variety of breakfast! There is also a terrace on the top floor where you can see Seville Cathedral! The hotel is just a short walk to various attractions, very convenient!
1. This is a comfortable business hotel, with a total height of 4 floors. The lobby is very elegant in a Spanish hotel. A considerable part of the customers are European and American group passengers. The waiting tourist buses can often be seen at the gates ~ When you meet these grandpas and grandmothers in the elevator, they will politely say good night ~
2. As shown in Figure 1.2, the display in the room is very simple. There is a small window sill to stand and look at the view. I am not satisfied with the bedding. Unlike the domestic ones, they are all white. Fortunately, I wore a dirty bag by myself. Most of the big bed rooms in Spain are such two single cots together!
3. The geographical location is far from the old town of Seville, but it is very suitable for self-driving tour! There is no parking fee in the hotel underground garage. There are many free parking spaces at the back of the hotel and on the side road! !! !! You also need to drive to the nearest McDonald's. Friends who don't drive themselves still don't recommend it!
4. Self-driving friends can consider looking for free parking on the roadside near the Golden Tower. If you ca n’t find it, you can navigate to the bullring. There is a public parking lot at the door. The parking is capped at € 18 for a whole day. not much. I just stopped there, the price is very high!
The hotel is located in the old town, very close to the palace and the church, surrounded by restaurants, no breakfast is required at all, and it usually costs 15 euros for breakfast and coffee for three people. The hotel room is small, and there is basically little room to put down the double bed (the put together). We also added a bed to the 10-year-old baby, which is even more crowded. An extra bed costs 40 Euros per night, please pay attention. There is a hot water bottle, but there is no daily free mineral water. I used to live in the Crown plaza in Barcelona every day, and there was a bottle for the holiday inn in Lisbon. The room 221 is strange. The layout is weird. The overall evaluation is moderate to upper, more general. In addition, self-driving is not recommended, the road is really impossible to drive, and parking is expensive.
Location: The hotel is located in the heart of the old town, just a 3-5 minute walk from Seville Cathedral and the Royal Palace. If you choose to take the airport bus to and from the airport, you need to walk to the "Golden Tower" station in about 10 minutes. Hotel facilities: We are arranged in a room next to the first floor, in addition to the bedroom and bathroom, there is a small courtyard. Environment, health is better! Quiet and comfortable. Hotel service: The front desk staff is more enthusiastic and will say hello when entering and leaving the hotel.
I ’m not used to breakfast. Others are OK. The service attitude is still good. The environment is good. The place is close to the attractions. I have been satisfied after staying for a week. The breakfast is really uncomfortable.
