This time I booked a room for my friend. I stayed at Zhang Cliff in 2013. At that time, it was the same room type (the most expensive) that my friend stayed in. It was also a sea-view room on the back of the mountain, but maybe because it was at the far end, there was no previous one. The room is large, with trees obstructing the sea view, my friends feel a bit different from the overdue ones, but the environment is relatively quiet

The hotel is on the main road, not far from the white sand beach, walk 15 minutes, ride a motorcycle for a few minutes, the taxi Taix along the street starts with 50 plants for one person to 50 plants for 3 people (you must bargain, if you don’t have a bargain, it’s 100 plants) One person) The hotel is a garden landscape style, a single cabin is quiet and comfortable, children with 500 extra beds a night are laid on the floor to sleep, very clean, breakfast is rich and nutritious and delicious, it is recommended, rent a motorcycle every day to shuttle around the island It’s good if you don’t live by the beach. In addition, I recommend the hotel to go out and turn right. A cooking shop run by sisters who walks up the stairs tastes good and affordable. It’s good except for not opening the door to see the sea. I especially recommend the main road near White Beach after 5pm The delicious food stalls, all kinds of delicious grounding gas, box lunch and cooking should be the Chinese love! Note that this house does not have a swimming pool, but not too far from the beach

Just spent 5 nights here, the accomodation is lovely although bathrooms could do with a refurb, beds comfy, bungalows and gardens beautiful but... the pool area is is in need of serious tidying up, for starters there are more broken loungers than useable, pool table not fit for purpose, no umbrellas as shown on all booking sites, it could be so much better given the bungalows are good. Speaking to a couple who were there last year and they said they could not believe the difference as how bad it is this year. Such a shame as it's in an ideal spot, a few bars close by and beach just a 15 minute stroll, after 5 days we had to move for last 2 nights next door at Paddys Palm (see other review) as they were booked. Staff are lovely but do not seem to realise the importance of the outside space.

I booked a sea view air-conditioned bungalow and was really impressed. For the price around 500 baht a night because it's just still low season maybe? The view of ocean and sunsets for 4 nights were amazing. Location is pretty good but 15 minute walk to the beach. Plenty of nice cheap restaurants to the right when you walk out. It's abit old and were afew ants in room every night but no problem. Room cleaner daily with 2 bottles of water and amenities. Tour lady at front gives cheap price for any activity you may want to do. When back I'll probebly stay again for the view at a great price.

This is a fabulous location if you just want to kick back and totally chill. Sitting, people watching in the evening and popping into the room to get a cool beer and a glass of wine from the fridge before you venture to many of the good beach restaurants for your evening meal was perfect. No shoes required! It is basic accommodation, clean and tidy but it has everything you will need for a short stay. Suwimon has always been very friendly and helpful when we needed different chairs due to my bad back! We have stayed here numerous times and are looking forward to returning for Christmas 2018

After staying for 3 days, I think breakfast is okay. I love fried eggs and I can choose three kinds of eggs. The fruit is not bad too, quite sweet. I booked a two-person room, went to the front desk and paid 600 pigs a day in cash. The location of the hotel is quite good. It is on the white beach and the entrance is 711, which is very convenient. However, the 711 goods that are about 50 meters away are more diverse. This hotel is so popular because it was opened by a Chinese owner (or one of the owners is a Chinese), and the Chinese restaurant seems to mention this hotel, anyway, Chinese people seem to choose it. Hotel location: The hotel is facing the street in the bustling street of White Beach, and the other side is directly with the beach. But when the tide is high, it will be the sea directly. Service and hygiene: The hotel staff are greeted with smiles, and are responsive to all requests. The overall hygiene is also clean and tidy. Room: The room is not big, but very clean and tidy. The only thing is that it’s a bit troublesome to go upstairs and downstairs. There is no elevator. Breakfast: not too many kinds, but enough to eat~ it tastes good Bar: There is a small bar at the door facing the street, you can enjoy yourself at night Bringing children: We do not have an extra bed, no fee will be charged, and no extra money is required for breakfast. The hotel does not have a swimming pool~ everyone just swim directly in the sea haha

The supermarket is very cheap. Mangosteen Rambutan is more than 3 pounds. The hotel is located in the most lively part of White Beach. The hotel's breakfast food is not too many, but it is also quite complete, it is ok to eat, the restaurant is in a good environment at the beach, the hotel has its own swimming pool and the beach, our family of three children is 11 years old, set the twin room 1.1 One bed, enough to sleep, the front desk is very warm, there is no need to pay the deposit, and we don't have to pay for the extra bed. It takes 14 o'clock for the check-in. Let me wait for my orange juice. No slippers, no toothbrush and toothpaste in the room. band. 2 free bottles of mineral water for 2 bottles of breakfast coupons per day. The hotel room is like a grass house, just like living in a tropical rain forest, the ecological environment is good, the lizard gecko mosquitoes are many, it is necessary to do mosquito and sun protection. We stayed 10 days with family and friends at this great resort and both kids and parents were very satisfied. The beach is fantastic, the pool area very nice and the staff is great! A special thank's to Gof who worked in the restaurant and helped us with everything from orders from the meny to finding motorbikes we could rent and tips about things to do on the island. He was fantastic! The great staff really made the difference. Also the food is very good with a nice chef from Italy in the kitchen! A minus is the villa rooms on the ground floor. Both villas we rented had a distinct cellar smell (moisture).

I reserved for two nights and extended one more night. I could have stayed a week more. Hotel is comfortable and going out to nearby beaches is a great pleasure. Here are the details why I was so happy in this hotel. 1. The hotel has rooms on the jetty (on a hill as well). A room with a balcony facing the sea and islands is comfortable. There’s A/C. But you can keep sliding doors open with anti mosquito screen doors closed. Then you get a nice breeze at night. 2. The open air restaurant is a place you can relax day and night, watching boats go by ,swallows flying, fish jumping out of water! Food is fresh and delicious. I had fried fish with sauce, steamed fish as well as a few kinds of curry. All of them highly recommended. It is better to tell them what you would like to eat beforehand, including breakfast. Then the cook will prepare exactly the way you want and also saving time to wait. 3. I took a tour of 6 beaches by motorboat. One island called “Koh Wai” pleased me most. It is a “Robinson Crusoe “type(photo attached).Extremely serene, white sands and corals attract colorful fish. There is a simple cafe-restaurant also. So I went there again next day . It’s a snorkeling paradise. It turned out to be Sunday. So several boats arrived with tourists. They usually depart after one hour. Weekdays are much more quiet. 4. Last but not least, all the staff in the hotel are very pleasant and helpful. The owner, Deter and Sue , are ready to accommodate you as much comfort as you require. Deter gave me abundant information on available activities, such as going by kayak or jogging in the forest. We had plenty of time to chat and I enjoyed listening to his insight on Thai society as well as countries he had visited as a globetrotter. One piece of advice. This hotel does not accept credit cards. Better to bring cash , especially Thai bahts. There’s no money exchange nearby. In short, I recommend this hotel for people who would like to get a peace of mind in a serene environment. I am already planning to come back next year for a longer stay.

stayed Marina Sands just 1 night in december 2020 , really enjoyed the stay , if you are taking your boat to K.Chang there is a small marina right next to the hotel but the river is pretty shallow in parts so best to plan at high tide , hotel located very close to the beach , a lovely secluded bay , the whole complex is huge so a golf cart is available to take you to the main reception , rooms very nice , large tv , safety box , fridge , bathroom , kettle tea & coffee with BIG cups which i loved !! 2 pools 1 next to the rooms and another larger pool located on the beach at the main reception , breakfast was very nice , restaurant just a couple mtrs from the sea so great place to eat , the only thing i did not like was that this complex was about 8 kilometres from white sands beach and the taxi was a little expensive at 500bht one way , 1000 bht return trip , there are shops about a 25 minute walk from the rooms , 7-11 , big C and a number of thai food shops where a motorbike can be rented , very peaceful, quiet ,relaxing place to stay if you are not looking for lots of nightlife !!

The hotel in Koh Chang is very cost-effective, with a double room of just over 150 a night. There is a small town within 500 meters. The front desk provides help to reserve horses and chickens and rent motorcycles. The hotel is located in the middle of the roundabout route. The beach can be shared with the Koh Chang Paradise Hotel across the road. It only takes 5 minutes to walk. As long as you cross the road, the hotel staff will help me stop the car, very considerate (at first I thought it was a security guard, I dare not pass by). Breakfast is a buffet. It is a relatively large resort, and it feels very foreign overall. But because it is very large and there are many people, but the hotel only has a not too big beach, so if you go late, there will be no beach chairs. There is also a sewage outlet on the beach, but this does not affect the mood of those ghosts swimming. The attitude of the service staff can not be said to be bad, but as far as the poker face is concerned, it is understandable because there are two staff members who go to the front desk every time without watching them idle. The room I stayed in had no windows and the air conditioning sound was particularly loud. The overall feeling is not high.

Location is everything. And that certainly goes for this little (7 bungalows) resort. The bungalow is average. It’s clean, old fridge and AC. Good beds. Service is on demand. The bungalows are situated in a nice garden. Better a bad house in a great location than the other way around. It’s a 3 minutes walk through a beautiful lagoon to one of the best beaches of Koh Chang. White sands and crystal clear blue water. Wide range of restaurants and shops all in walking distance. What else do you want? Well, a little friendliness and courtesy to the guests by the French and Thai caretaker? We stayed there for a week and not once they greeted us or gave any sign of recognition that we were their guests. When I came to pay, a rude “what do you want” by the Frenchman was all I got. The day we left, they did not came out of their office to say goodbyes nor thanking us for being their guests. According to the comments they write on reviews like these they think that they are doing a great job. Yes, they run the place perfectly. If it wasn’t for the guests.

Because of the time relationship, we only rushed for one night. The overall environment is quite good compared to other islands. It is basically a local tourist and foreigner in Thailand. There are almost no nationals, such as youth travel. Very small and fresh, suitable for taking pictures, although only stayed for one night, but we are almost a big thing. The next day, because we checked out very early, we dropped the passport there! It may also be that the boss wife did not wake up so much that she also forgot to return the passport to us. It was when we arrived in Bangkok in the evening to find out that the passport had been dropped there. I was scared to death with my friend. It took me a long time to know that people had called us since they found out that our passport was not taken away, but it was fixed at home. , so the phone left the domestic phone (we changed the local card after we came to Thailand, so remind everyone to set aside the foreign area in advance, you must leave a number of your district), after a few exchanges, finally To be clear, the proprietress asked someone to send the passport to us at the airport the next day, until we got the passport, we were all awkward, because the language exchange, the middle of the variety simply did not want to say more, but the boss The handling is still very positive, the whole process is helping us report the process, contact us, and contact the driver. We are still very touched. I hope that everyone can learn from our foresight and wish you a good time. Yeouido is still worth it.

The four of us booked two rooms by the sea. One room had a new air conditioner and had good hot water. The other room had an older air conditioner and had a very loud running sound. The hot water was an electric water heater. The breakfast is average, not to Chinese people's appetite. Eating at the hotel at noon was quite satisfactory, and there were singing in the restaurant at night. Hotel staff service is good. The hotel swimming pool is not big, but there are beaches and the sea, and there are not many swimming pools. The only bad thing is that I rented a car with the front desk. The car rental form she showed was 300-400🐷. I asked it to be expensive, and she only took out a 250🐷 However, it is not recommended to rent a car at the hotel. Later, we found that we walked to the right outside the hotel. There was a car rental shop not far away, 150🐷 a day.

We stayed for 4 nights in early November in one of the garden bungalows at KB resort. Everything was excellent with the added silver lining (for us) that there was no one around on the beach and at other nearby resorts, this was midweek during the CoVid crisis. The Bungalow was clean with modern well maintained airconditioning. In front of our bungalow was a terrace with comfy chairs and a table. Great for relaxing with a book. The gardens are well kept and relaxing and the beach just a few strides away. The service, cocktails, food etc was perfect. Due to CoVid breakfast is now a la carte rather than buffet style, but surprisingly despite the lack of guests all the dinner options were available and the standard excellent. I have been here before and I will return again- a great relaxed resort and a great discount during the current crisis. Real value at a great price.

The environment here is really awesome. You don't need to go around to the hotel at all, you can play for a few days. The rooms are very Thai. The environment of the park is like a large tropical rain forest park, a private beach, breakfast is on the beach, a wooden house with only three sides and no windows. There are also many types of food! It's very comfortable to walk around in the park, most foreigners here! Chinese people are rare. After having stayed on the West coast of Koh Chang, we took a taxi to the ferry where we were picked up by the shuttle of the Garden of Joy. We were impressed by the variety of plants and trees. It is really fenominal ! It has been built 15 years ago completely in the original Thai teadition . Very charming. The vegetation gives also a lot of shadow which is more than welcome in such a warm climate. The cabins are well spread over the garden. The swimming pool with jacuzzi is rather large and when in the water one can admire the view of the sea. This provides a heavenly feeling! The sunbeds were protecting us from the sun as covered by umbrellas. One could easily move them to a place under the trees on the boarder of the sea . We were here with 2 teenagers, who enjoyed the canoeing, the badminton, the petanque and the ball games in the swimming pool. We all enjoyed the food served. The menu provides a large variety of Thai food, European dishes (spare ribs, steak , self made pizza etc) and some Belgian specialities : mussels & steak stew (carbonade/stoofvlees). All were very tasty and reasonably priced ! ( the best food we received in Thailand). A small word on the breakfast. The bread is prepared by a real Belgian baker and this could be tasted ! But one can also go for a Thai breakfast. The coffee machine produced excellent coffee (something we missed in the other hotels). The service of the staff is excellent. Besides the quiteness of this paradise, the sport activities and the excellent food we also got some valuable info on the island from the ex (Vlaamse)Brussels owner. Thanks to him, the boys had their first scuba dives. The Paddy owner is also an ex Belgian resident, so the courses can be provided in different languages. Conclusion, this little quite paradise is highly recommended. After our 5 days stay, we went to Bangkok with a private minibus (iamkohchang.com). This transport is very easy and reliable. We were pleased with the delivered service. Note that the booking of this hotel has to be paid cash. Their is an ATM located in the next door hospital.

Initially I was rather sceptical about booking this resort given its remote location but on arrival I was pleasantly surprised. I loved the quiet rustic set up and cute little bungalows. Its worth booking the sea front bungalows for the views!!! You should know this development is actually owned and part of the next door hotel. You will need yo walk over for food. Breakfast is simple and not the best. However, having said that when you order a la carte at Coco Chacha i was amazed at how good and authentic the local Thai food was. I would rate it as the best I had on the island and I have tried many places!!!! Staff are kind and helpful. Kayaking around to the abandoned boat hotel is well worth it and fun. Beach Massages are well priced and highly recommended. I regret only booking and staying here for two nights and wished I stayed longer rather than moving on to Lonely Beach. I actually found myself coming back here even after I moved hotel. After several trips to KC I think I have now found my favourite place on Koh Chang.

They are small bungalows, and there are not many hotel rooms, so the breakfast type is not rich, and there are usually twenty or thirty people on the beach. Hotel features: very large and landscape-like, a bit like a park, there are cable cars in the hotel, travel by cable car or free golf cart, if you live in the back room. There will be many monkeys in front of you in the morning. The sea view is invincible. 5 points for the location: The last section towards Bangbao Fishing Village on Kabe Beach. The hotel entrance is built on a very steep mountain road. The first entrance is to the lobby and the second entrance is to the hotel's breakfast room. The door is the beach. 50 meters into the beach in front there will not be any small stones or reefs, all fine sand. The hotel also comes with an island with a beach on which you can boat. 180 Baht per hour. Hotel facilities give 5 points: the overall design and layout is very good. I live at the fourth stop by the cable car, next to the breakfast room. 5 points for breakfast: definitely the highest level buffet breakfast in Koh Chang. If you buy single adult 600 baht. A very hearty buffet dinner at Koh Chang was only 279 baht. Room type: I live in a 63 square-foot family room. There are two single beds that can be combined into a large bed, a single room, which can sleep children, a chaise longue, or sleep for children (not more than 1.6 meters children). Three adults and one child sleep completely. problem. Price: Before the Spring Festival, the price was over 1800 RMB. Later, due to the coronavirus, no one came. The price was 5800 in the first 6 days, and the price was about 4800 in the next 4 days. Service; there are Thai people at the front desk. English is good. But all belong to professional smiley. There is a sense of distance. There are also two European foremen in the hotel. By the way, I lived in Koh Chang for half a month. Only the Russian foreman at Grand Spa knows Chinese, English and Russian. Other hotels do not speak Chinese at all. English is pretty good. Wifi signal: All are small routers. The signal was gone within a few steps. The signal was very weak in the room. And each room only gives a password. This password can only be connected to one mobile phone. The extra equipment needs to ask the front desk for the room password. The overall signal on Koh Chang is not as good as Bangkok and Pattaya.

Check out from Chill today, the front desk took out the camera and took a photo with us, saying that the photo will be sent to us, the hotel sent us a car, the front desk waiter was far away from the car, and still waved goodbye to us, the lobby manager personally followed the car At the entrance to the new hotel, a souvenir was presented before the departure. Chill's service is truly impeccable. Whether it is a restaurant or a guest room, you can feel full of enthusiasm and sincerity. Every time the bed is turned, the waiter puts the pig's little pig on the pillow and puts it on, every time he travels. The front desk took the initiative to send mineral water and mosquito repellent. Our demand is almost no delay feedback, even more than we expected. So that the pig girl was still in love until the last moment, saying that this is the best service hotel she has ever stayed in, so I must give the hotel a good review.

Klong Prao Beach

Bang Bao Bay
I want to talk about this unusual hotel experience: I booked a round-trip ticket from Bangkok Airport to Koh Chang. It was said that it was delivered to the hotel. In fact, it can only be delivered to Lonely Beach. The road behind is not included. We took a Texi (similar to tu tu) 100B per person from Lonely Beach to the hotel. At the fork in the road, the driver put us down and pointed to the sign of the hotel on the side of the road and said, "Go into this path." So we were very happy, thanked the driver and walked on the side road. After walking five hundred meters, we started to feel silly. We felt like we had walked into a village. Except for the trees on both sides, there were occasional houses. The more we walked in, the more fearful we got. On the way, a villager on a motorcycle came to talk to us and asked where we were going. (Don't dare to talk nonsense, the guide says that you can't talk to passers-by, but you can't help but say, I don't know if the driver has been tricked) The villagers said that they would go a long way, and shook their heads and left. How could the hotel be far away? I don’t believe it, it can’t be seen from the map. We decided to continue walking, and asked another villager in the middle, or we should continue walking. I dragged my luggage for almost one kilometer, but I haven't found it yet. The more I walk in, the more fearful it is. At this time, an old man riding a three-wheeled motorcycle showed up and told us to get in his car and take us there for free. We were even more scared – old man? Tricycle? free? (Mom said that she can't talk to strangers) Not daring to go, a blond ghost girl driving a car came and asked where we were going. After talking to the old man, she told us to get into the old man's car. Come on, he seems to be in his 60s and 70s. We are very good that he should be able to fight him before. If I can't, I will pose and say I will scare him with Chinese Kung Fu. So we got on his tricycle, and the car drove up a small slope. The downhill was a small road with many monkeys running in the middle of the road. This frightened us both. Mama, how can we hide from the monkey~ My face turned blue, Just about to say something, the car stopped. The old man pointed to the front roof and said: Go down, this house is. It doesn't look like a black shop, but finally here? ! It seems to be here... I stuffed the old man with 40B and walked down quickly. Damn-I finally found you, luckily I didn't give up! Closer to home, the hotel faces the sea, spring flowers bloom, and the environment is very good! The breakfast is super delicious, comparable to the five-star hotels in Australia, and it is delicious and delicious. The hotel has a free car at a fixed time every day to take guests to Bangbao Fishing Village. It's best to rent a motorcycle, it's a bit inconvenient to get in and out. If you want to live in isolation, this is a good choice. Europeans like to choose this hotel, and relatively few Chinese. (Picture 1 is the road through the hotel)

Klong Prao Beach
