London
|1.18km from city centerThe Edison is as good as ever and of such quality. Hotels in London are too expensive, so I booked the cheapest room type. On the downside, there is no view from the window. This hotel has a great feeling, the entrance is very beautiful, but there are many bars around at night, it would be scary to walk on foot. The toiletries are still specially customized by le labo. In the morning, the downstairs smells like coffee, and when you come back at night, it smells like le labo the noir, which is very comfortable. The room is fully equipped, the toilet is fully surrounded by rain, and there is mineral water. The light switch is also very delicate.

|2.71km from city centerThis time I came to London and stayed at the Magnificent, the Fragmented Shangri-La, the Horse Guards and the Bulgari. The rooms in this 1,500-pound hotel had no highlights at all. I really felt like I was paying an IQ tax! Moreover, the air conditioner was very noisy, there was dust on the table, and even the pens had no refills. Several others have their own characteristics. Bulgari is not recommended.

Wembley
|1.32km from city centerStayed here last night with my son, we were at the stadium for a concert. This place is literally a walk down the hill to the stadium so perfect location. I couldn’t fault it really, it is a pub with rooms above- not a fancy hotel. I feel other reviews are very unfair… We paid 1/4 of the price to other places at Wembley. Our room was spotlessly clean with super comfy beds. would definitely book again!

|5.4km from city centerVery good location - a lot of attractions are within walking distance and DLR stations, train station and bus stops are nearby.
The room was large, clean and tidy, we can cook simple breakfast and dinner with the kitchen utilities provided.
The staffs are friendly and helpful, they helped us to keep some of our luggage during the period we had a cruise trip.

Kingston upon Thames
|1.67km from city centerWe had to leave very unexpectedly, but did find the hotel a little run down looking from the outside. We had arrived early and the room was ready, but we could only check in early for an extra charge which we declined, as we were going out anyway so just left our bags in the car. The room was supposed to be an executive room however, it was like any other room we had ever stayed in so don’t know what was executive about it. Tea tray was a bit stingy with 1 packet of biscuits between 2 of us (1 biscuit each). Only 4 milk cartons, but plenty of tea and coffee sachets. The bathroom had nice shower gel and lotion supplied with plenty of towels but, also had blue insulation tape on the radiator and the ceiling above the bath was peeling it all looked a little tired. The room was clean and perfectly comfortable, but definitely lacked that added luxury that I thought we had upgraded to with executive. Maybe that was my own fault not checking exactly what the difference was between normal and executive aside from the price. Sadly, our trip was cut short with an emergency, so we never got to stay overnight or sample the breakfast.

|4.11km from city centerSome hiccups during checkin. We specified in our booking that we have 2 kids. We even stated their ages. When we arrived, they said booking is only made for 2 adults. I showed them everything I have to prove my booking. They said we used a 3rd party agent to book (ie trip.com). The agent made a mistake and we should talk to them. (What???? ) But they will do me a favour and do the talking… ?? (Doing me a favour like I did sth wromg??). In the end they upgrade us to a family suite, adding that it could be for 1 night only, they may require us to move and bla bla bla…..
Yes you upgraded me but so what! Your staff’s attitude is the whole problem. I used a 3rd party agent, but it’s a company you approved of. When problems arise you blame it on customer?! I gave a 2/5 for service simply bcoz of the upgrade.

King's Cross St. Pancras
London
|2.61km from city centerI lived in this hotel for the first time in the UK. The experience was very good at the time, the hotel is in a good location and cost-effective, so I thought I would choose to stay here afterwards. I wanted to book a room in advance for the second time this time, but chose a lot of dates without a room. Later only accessible rooms were available. Think about staying alive for two nights. Because one of them happens to be a New Year's Eve, it goes without saying that the price is not cost-effective. The room I gave was facing the street, and I didn't sleep well after a night of noisy. And this time the service attitude was very average. Retaining luggage is also reluctant. The front desk was also lazy. In short, I won't come next time. In the end, a penny is a penny, and a willingness to spend money on Mayfair's Marriott.

|3.36km from city centerI have been to multiple hotel in london. I would say this hotel is the most reasonable price with best location. The only things I was not expected was at least they should provide a bottle of water and a slipper... Apparently the carpet was bit marked and I have to wear to shoes all the time... Apart from that overall, I am happy with this places.

|6.36km from city centerThe service was immaculate as all staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nice and had a great view. There was even a complimentary ferry directly to Canary Wharf. One improvement would be that on the trip app there is a photo of pool however this hotel does not have one. After booking we saw the picture of the pool and brought swim costumes unnecessarily due to this.
Nevertheless, I enjoyed my stay and would both recommend it to others and stay again myself.

|7.53km from city centerTravelled to London for a course. Stayed one night. Comfy bed, great breakfast, convenient location, tidy and clean, quiet. Beatriz on reception was very nice. Air con was a bit weak but kicked in eventually. Door looked like it had been kicked in at some point and door frame damage still visible (room 108). Might be a bit worrying for some customers. I would stay again. It was good value for money. Felt light on staff. Like very few people trying to run quite a large hotel. All were polite and friendly.

|9.4km from city centerReally good hotel with friendly staff and nice amenities! Everything looks nicely furnished and there were no issue with the cleanliness. Food was good too were decent variety. The only issues were the missing table as shown in the photos for Family Room and the hotel only use bathroom curtains instead of glass, which was weird aesthetically given how nicely furnished the rest of the room is.
Other than that, it's a great stay and I recommend this hotel.

Only down points were told they didn’t offer bottles of water (even though my Hilton honors stated I get water), and also issue with heating/aircon in room and it was very cold, but they did supply electric heaters.

|0.62km from city centerEverything was very good. Breakfast offers a lot of coice - except warm breakfast is only on Weekends. On the Trip site the check in time is incorrect (ov voucher it says after 12, but it is after 14) - despite us coming too early, they gave us the room and made coffee for free. The hotel is locked over night and the staff is really friendly. We were in the hotel trought the hottest days in history but they prepared a ventilator - because they don't have AC (normally).

|4.33km from city centerAccommodation is close to places to eat such as the KFC Burger King Nando. Tesco Lotus Express is open 24 hours. Anyone traveling by subway is convenient. Not far from the accommodation, large room with a double bed, but the disadvantage is that there is no water provided. And change the sheets every 2 days. We stay 5 nights, change just 2 times but rearrange the bed every day. Overall, very satisfied. Lovely staff Very informative and helpful, very impressed. If there is a chance, I will go back to stay again. Also nearby is Harrods, just 25 minutes walk. For those who like to walk, can walk straight away.

|2.08km from city centerWhere to start...first impressions were not good at all. We stayed on Wednesday 11th November. We were locked out, despite staff knowing we would be arriving late (we arrived at 23:15). We tried for 15 minutes, in the pouring rain to get in, we called and called and called..no answer and then the door miraculously opened as if by magic. We got to reception to be greeted by the most miserable person we have ever met. No apology, no hello, no nothing just ”gotta reservation?”..as someone who runs a 4 star hotel this guy wouldn't have a job, how he (Asian, 5ft 10ish, black jumper) actually HAS a job I'll never know all I can think is nepotism. I realise we are in London, the land of no manners but we expected more from a 4 star hotel. Anyway, our room was ok, no toiletries, only 1 set of towels (Covid? Who knows), poor tv channels and a non working remote due to our 'Mr. Miserable' host we didn't want to complain incase we made him cry. Nice pillows in the room, I like firm pillows. Breakfast was nice considering and the server Faruk/Faruq was lovely. An asset and a saving grace to our trip, helpful, friendly, welcoming, couldn't do enough for us maybe he could train Mr. Miserable in how to be nice. Our check out was smooth our receptionist asked how our stay was honestly we couldn't be bothered to tell her about our check in and bet she wouldn't have done anything anyway. All in all we wouldn't stay in a holiday Inn again, we have had better service in an Ibis.

|1.31km from city centerJust an average hotel convenient for the area. Closed for 3 months from 1st November 2020. A few problems with the room but can be put down to the closure of the hotel for a few months. Double check when booking about breakfast being included in your rate and be aware it is a simple boxed 'continental' breakfast; Parking, though advertised is not free - from £10 per night, again check when booking and spaces are limited. At weekends, on street, free parking is available. if you need t be in this area and just need a place to rest your head, this hotel would do.

|3.38km from city centerPleasantly surprised by the hotel, very close to Paddington Station, easy access to the West End by bus and tube. Receptionist very helpful, room was ready when we arrived at 11am, which was great, it was very clean with a good supply of coffee and tea plus biscuits all good quality. Slight down side was a vey small shower room and toilet, the shower itself was very weak. The room was cleaned to a high standard every day. The breakfast was good, the waiter very good, nothing too much trouble. Would definitely stay again. Good value for the money paid.

|0.4km from city centerA good stay at The Alexander Pope - we visit a few times a year as our son and daughter in law live locally. As usual - the people were friendly and accommodating, the room clean and ready for our early arrival. Two small comments where improvemtns could be made: 1. Instant coffee in the room please rather than coffee pods and a machine! 2. Can the breakfast menu be varied so that we can have a smaller breakfast for less money? Otherwise excellent - thanks.

|0.76km from city centerI have spent 40 years traveling the world and I have stayed in the smallest hotels that Japan has to offer including capsule hotels. Hotel Mimi beats them all - the room I stayed in was small, really small with no window. But it was great! - I knew what I was letting myself in for but I knew all I wanted was a comfortable bed and somewhere to wash and the room excelled at both of these things. Beautiful marble bathroom with Molton Brown soaps and shampoos. Now, if you ask if it was worth the nearly £200 I paid the answer is no - but this is London and thats what you have to pay. Stay at Mimi's - but make sure you know what you could experience.

|3.59km from city centerAfter a 12 hour flight, staying at Moxy was a welcome relief. Check-in was easy and the front desk staff were very welcoming. They explained everything we needed to know so we could enjoy our stay. The room was spacious for a family of 4, it was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was amazing. There was a large selection of food and drinks ajd was a great wah to start the day. There is a small gym on the ground floor which is well stocked with a variety of exercise equipment. The theme and decor of the hotel is modern and artistic. Locstion wise, it is easy to get to from Heathrow Airport. Overall, we had a great stay and wished it could have been longer.

|3.32km from city centerI stay with the IHG group every week and one hotel stay rolls into another. However tonight's stay deserves a positive review thanks to young man on reception called Joshua. I arrived at the hotel extremely early, just after 14:00 and understandly my room was not yet ready. Joshua gave me a drinks voucher and set me up in the downstairs bar / restaurant. It's comfy and quiet down there and I was able to get on with some work. Once my room was ready I discovered that I had been upgraded which was a pleasant surprise. Then later in the evening Joshua was kind enough to bring me up a fan along with a key that allowed him to open the windows. So often you're just another number, but not tonight. Joshua was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and polite. I will use this hotel as often as possible and recommend it to others.
