We have stayed at the Eo Inn many times in the past, with the most recent being Saturday 8/8/20. It is in the heart of downtown, across the street from the NW corner of Lake Eola. It is also an easy walk to restaurants and other shops in the area. We have generally opted for the King Balcony, which provides a long shaded balcony area and a wonderfully comfortable bed. The rooms are very reasonably priced with free parking included. The Inn is old but clean and well-maintained. Some services, such as the free coffee in the lobby have been suspended due to Covid 19. Check-in / out is easy with mask requirements and distancing maintained. The Innkeeper at the front desk is as friendly and helpful as ever and much appreciated. Eo Inn is our "go to" place when we visit our son in Downtown Orlando!

Well, this was our 3rd stay at the Grand Bohemian and we more than likely won’t return. We had a 2 night stay reserved using 80,000 points. We checked in late on a Friday night and went to the room (1214) to drop off our bags and then headed out for dinner and to partake in the surrounding nightlife. Upon returning which was quite late we crawled straight into bed. After waking up, getting out of bed and opening the drapes I was horrified to see stains on the bottom sheet! Almost like someone had coffee in bed and spilt it and then housekeeping just made up the bed. Honestly, I don’t think our room was properly cleaned at all! Hair all over the tile floor in the bathroom, there was also toenail clippings and other dirtiness on the carpet. Obviously, no one had vacuumed the floors either! We were very grossed out to say the least!! It appeared that we were put into a room that had not been properly serviced for a new check in. We showered quick and got ready and I called quest services to report the problems. He said that it was very unacceptable and that he would have someone take care of the room while we were out for the day. We returned about 5-6 hours later and we went upstairs to get changed for dinner to find our room still untouched by housekeeping!! We went down to the front desk and spoke with a manager who put us into a different room (1417) which was a one bedroom suite which was pretty nice and she also gave us a $50 food and beverage credit. The new room however had an annoying vent fan in the bathroom that you could not turn off and we had to listen to that constant hum all night long! Needless to say, we didn’t have a great sleep. The workout room was disappointing and small with one of the three treadmills out of order. It definitely needed some updating. Bottom line, for a hotel of this caliber we were very disappointed with these shortcomings! On a high note, the staff that we had interactions with were all very friendly.

Pleased to be at this hotel for a travel assignment. My room upgrade has a stellar view overlooking the water and stunning sunset views. Nicole checked me in and despite some shortfalls on my company’s side got me through smoothly and courteously. Thanks Nicole! Everything is clean and sanitary. No pool access but gym is available for use on a first come first serve basis. It’s sanitized after each use. Missing the usual hot breakfast but all in all a very convenient location. Only surprise is the 1030pm train that comes blazing thru hand on horn every night. It’s close to the train tracks. Otherwise love it here!

This place was great. The hotel was undergoing renovations while we were there and while the staff warned us about it, we never heard anything. The renovations looked great and our room was one of the finished rooms. My traveling companion and myself both really liked the room we had. The renovations serve the hotel well. What really made this hotel stand out was the staff. We interacted with many different staff members and it’s evident that management must be doing something well. The front desk staff were always cheerful and happy to help in any way they could with any request. If any question or issue arose (we had zero issues), the staff handles everything very quickly and will follow up later on to make sure all is well. Deborah certainly embodies customer service and she truly made our time spent in Orlando better than expected. She made us feel like family and my companion and myself chatted with her every morning—her personality is perfect for her job. She is a very hard worker and one evening I watched her bounce between working the front desk and being a server at the café. She did it with ease and without complaint. She is wonderful and is an asset to the property. The sweet and kind ladies at the bar were also great. Both Maria and Debra were appreciated by us during our stay. They remembered our drink order every morning and would start to work on our order when they’d see us enter the lobby each morning. They were always smiling and would inquire about our plans and would offer insight on places to eat or things to do. The two also learned our names quickly and would ask each of us about the other when we were not together. It felt sincere and I appreciated their hospitality and kindness. I also talked to the manager there. I don’t recall her name, but I do remember that she had been in the Marriott family for a number of years. She was fantastic and funny and we both liked chatting with her every time we’d see her. A staff member mentioned to me that she admired the manager and respected the way she treated everyone…and it shows. There was another manager I spoke with (perhaps he was the business director?) and he was also very gracious and validated how outstanding his staff is. All in all, should I find myself back in downtown Orlando, I’d be happy to stay here again. I really liked how this place operates and how much I actually felt like I was part of their family. I find that not many places take the time to make their guests feel the way I did while staying here. I stay at a wide range of hotels for my job and this place stood out on many levels. Even at mid-to-high range places, staff are certainly helpful, cordial and kind, but this Courtyard gives the more expensive places a run for their money. I hope the staff gets rewarded for all the hard work they do and the level of customer service they deliver. Keep up the great work!

This is not the first time I've stayed here and it certainly won't be the last. I discovered this gem of a hotel in September of this year quite by accident by searching for a Marriott owned property for one night. I had stayed a little too late in the evening than I had intended, so subsequently needed a hotel room. Being a Rewards member, any opportunity to earn points is a plus. The price, along with the quiet of the area and great staff I've encounted each time I've stayed, ( 4 times since September including this one) has made this particular hotel feel like home. It's also very convenient to major roads in the area with grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, churchs and theme parks. I must compliment the fantastic staff on their professionalism and courtesy in anything amd everything I have seen them handle. Leslie, Gerald and David Santoro are the best at what they do !!!!!! Looking forward to my next trip.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this location during the winter holidays. As I arrived at the hotel, I was immediately greeted by employee Joe Gonzalez at the front desk. He greeted me with a smile and was extremely efficient at check-in. In addition, I would run into him on occasion during my two week visit. He would always greet me by name and asked if I ever needed anything. I truly appreciate the fact that he treated me not only as a guest, but as part of the Marriott family. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I look forward to my next visit at this location. J.T.

Stayed for 3 nights on the 5th floor and had a view of Disney Springs (Room 504). If Disney and Epcot were still doing nightly fireworks they could probably be watched from this room. I booked the studio suite, but the pleasant person at the desk upgraded me for free to the 1 bedroom suite which was very nice. The suite had everything that you could want and was very clean and spacious. The staff at this hotel were very courteous and I had no issues with any part of my stay. They do charge a $15.00 nightly fee if you need to park a vehicle. The parking garage is directly behind the hotel, but was never very busy and I was always able to park on the ground level.

We were scheduled to come to this Marriott Royal Palm Resort after my husband’s annual Panamanian reunion on Saturday, June 28. We have been coming to this resort for a week every end of June/July for the past three years. His reunion was cancelled, but we decided to still stay here. Our two daughters came on Friday afternoon to celebrate a late Father’s Day, so we paid for an extra night also. We put in a request for certain rooms, and we were given our first choice. The pool and hot tub area was calm at the required 50% capacity. No one was turned away. The entire two buildings were only at about 50% capacity. We requested more items two different times, and a bag with the items was brought within 30 minutes to our room. We were required to wear face masks when walking around outside and when in the front office area. All workers wore face masks, and were friendly, as usual. The workers were cleaning different areas every time we saw them. We felt very safe during this COVID-19 time. The front desk workers were friendly also. The landscape with its ponds is well maintained, and the interior of the rooms are aesthetic pleasing and comfortable. We brought enough food to cook or grill, so we never left the resort to eat. The grills were cleaned every day. We were able to walk to Saba Palms, but the large World Marriott seemed very out of place since it was closed, and the golf course was closed as well. We love the Marriott Royal Palm Resort; it is like an oasis away from home. We will be back again!

I've been here for a week and i had a issue with the manager name Timmothy , he came to my room because i was having trouble with the toilet and he acuse me to be smoking weed inside the room wich it was a lie... He went down and call me from the lobby telling me i had to paid the dog fee and i explain to him that when i check in for the first time they had told me that the dog was free becuase hes a service dog.. At the lobby he treated me really bad in front of others customers and other employee.. I really need to be referred to somebody above him because i feel theres other way to talk to people. When i was talking to him he had a smirk on his face and i told him to stop with the smirk on his face because that was really disrepectful he had a nasty attitude , he kept giving my son dirty looks and he tried to lie by saying he had recieved multiple complaints but yet he or no other employee told me before if there was multiple complaints somebody wouldve spoken up. I guess he didnt care that one of his employee was there watching everything. He does not know anything about costomer service at all. I feel discriminated , i feel he had something against me and my son because our race/ethnicty .

Where does one begin? We had the unfortunate opportunity to stay here for 2.5 weeks due to a home insurance claim. While unpacking our car into our tiny dated room we had to walk through several people smoking right next to the door. Imagine staying at a hotel where a cigarette bin and camping chairs are parked right next to the entrance where you are staying. We had asked for a first floor room near an exit since we had our dogs with us. We got one of the worst rooms on the property. The room next to us had people that live here... who are coming and going at all times (loudly)and sometime they would be passed out in the camping chairs while high. Burnt spoons next to them. Real classy Hey mgmt: here are photos and descriptions of what is going on. Mgmt: shrugs shoulders Cigarette butts, beer cans, orange peels strewn about this area to which we had to walk around. If we complained we were told yeah we know this is a problem and they would not it down in a little book. Let’s talk about the room: AC unit is loud and inconsistent. It’s either 82* or 55* in the room. The unit is so loud you can’t even enjoy relaxing on your small couch. It is filthy because our allergies we crazy every morning. We had to work during the day so we would leave and have no issues. Come back and allergy attack would ensue. The fridge froze all of our food. Then when you turn it down... still froze our food. The microwave either boiled your food or didn’t even nuke it a degree warmer. Coffee maker?! Yes we have one! That smoked and exploded in your face if you dared turned it on. Room was not cleaned at all for the first week. After asking 3 days straight as to why, we were told due to limited housekeeping and that there is a schedule. Our full clean was Tuesday... didn’t happen. Now Wednesday... didn’t happen. Finally on Friday, 9 days after checking in our room was finally cleaned. After that, it was cleaned EVERYDAY?! So I guess mgmt said screw the schedule. Breakfast: we were told due to COVID the options would be limited. First week there was cereal, milk, crappy muffins and bread. Instant Oatmeal and grit packs were available to take to your room to try and get your microwave to cooperate enough to eat them. And moldy oranges if you cared for one or three. Only good part was the coffee was decent enough to start your day. Second week, cereal and milk were gone. Next the coffee. Mgmt advised due to COVID they could not longer serve these items. By the last 2 days there was nothing. Not even moldy fruit to choose from. Overall if you enjoy a Marriott bed but a Howard Johnson of the 90s hotel stay by all means this is the place for you.

Wow! My family and I stayed on a 3 night trip for a sales presentation. The presentation wasn’t terrible, however towards the end of it, we started feeling pressure. We tried to explain to our salesman that in all honesty we would need time to think on it simply due to the fact that in light of the corona virus things are a little up in the air, my husband and I both work jobs that are in danger of shutting down because of this and with losing hours and money we just weren’t sure that jumping into a sale was a great idea, they had a hard time understanding that part, however our salesman was super nice and eventually understood where we were coming from! The room itself was amazing. We had a 1 bedroom king suite on the top penthouse floor which meant you needed a key to access that floor and that was awesome. We had the most amazing view of the surrounding areas including the Disney parks and had they not been closed we would have had amazing views of the fireworks every single night. The room itself was very newly renovated and BEAUTIFUL! It was incredibly spacious and we enjoyed the full kitchen and the washer and dryer! The bathroom was incredibly large and the ONLY thing I wish was different is that there was more counter space, there wasn’t much room for toiletries! Everyone we encountered was incredibly friendly and in light of the virus crisis it was comforting to watch the constant wiping down of public areas and the abundance of hand sanitizer stations! The parks being closed wasn’t a big deal to us because there was plenty for the kids to do at the resort, and for my youngest who wasn’t big enough to go down the water slide, a quick visit to the kids center and he was gifted a bag with bubbles, a beach ball, fun duck shaped goggles and a water squirter, it really made his entire day! My oldest won a water slide race and got a medal and a free snow cone. Our only gripe is that we didn’t have more time to enjoy this gorgeous resort. It was sad packing our things to leave this morning! I would highly recommend this resort to anyone. Oh! One more thing, the free movie rentals were a god send too!

The interior was spacious with impressive high-ceilings. The use of curtains and sliding doors allowed me to feel as though the entire environment flowed in a comforting manner. I chose this hotel because it’s brand spanking new and I was traveling with my husband and 2 toddlers and didn’t want to be in an icky old hotel. Check in was good and quick. The room was really clean. Sheet and towels were changed daily. My only issue was breakfast wasn’t anything to rave about really, eggs, bacon, toast, waffles, all pretty tasteless. That aside I’m really happy I chose this hotel. The front desk people are really nice and I was able to ask for plates, ketchup, forks from the breakfast area after regular breakfast hours. They have a laundry area on the second floor, and I washed and dried a load of clothes for my kids. I love the complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby, it was really tasty. The parking was free and your could always find a spot. The beds were comfortable. Overall it was a great stay and my kids loved coming back to their hotel... as my daughter put it “ the one with the sun on it”

Before arriving to this hotel, I called and requested a shuttle from MCO (Orlando International Airport). They promptly gave me an ETA and the shuttle driver was very helpful and made great food recommendations. I stayed at this hotel for a work conference and was pleasantly greeted upon arrival by the front desk agent. The hotel is definitely newer and the area surrounding is still developing and expanding. Lots of great food establishments around the hotel property within walking distance. There’s FREE parking for hotel guests if you bring a car. Rooms were modern, roomy and very clean. We travel quite a bit and I am fairly specific in things I like and dislike in a property. The Marriott Harbour Lake was excellent all around. When staying in Orlando there are SO many choices so researching what you want and need is important. I also called to see what was open/closed. This trip, I knew we would be staying mostly on property with 2 teens and a 6 year old making it more important than ever that the property suited our needs. The 6 year old loves to swim but gets bored quickly of the regular pools at resorts. I knew we needed something fun to keep us busy all day. MHL has 2 pool areas, each directly across the resort road from each other making it easy to go back and forth. 1 is the shipwreck pool. There is a pirate ship with several slides and fun things like a ships wheel. Around the pool are features that squirt water at the kids while they play. The buildings in this area are 12. 13, 14 and 15. This area also has The Patio where you can get food, drinks, ice cream etc. Also a nice jacuzzi area off to the side. The Florida Falls pool area has a fantastic splash pad area with 2 giant dumping buckets. While we were there the splash pad equipment was repainted. The pool is beautiful, with a slide on one end. Just behind the slide is a jacuzzi and outside the gate is The Outpost where you can get drinks and quick serve snacks like hot pretzels and chicken bites. The mini-golf course and playground are also on this side. The playground was roped off for most of out stay and we saw at the end of our trip that a new awesome looking playground was installed. The buildings around this pool area are 28, 29, 30 and 31. The employees told us that during non covid times their activities department has things going all day long for the kids as well. Definitely a great pick of resort of you are traveling with younger kids. The condos were updated and very modern with everything we needed available. The beds were soft and comfortable. If like me you are picky about which unit you stay in based on property location, a few things to note is that unlike many resorts we have stayed in there is only 1 door. No back door access. Blogs 12 and 13 form and L with the screened back patio area of 12 facing the water and 13 faces the pool. These buildings are closer to the garden area and there are also a few bench swings along the water behind the buildings. 14 and 15 form and L. 15 faces the water from your back patio. 14 faces the volleyball court and shipwreck pool. Behind these buildings is the boardwalk trail. Lots of walkers and joggers on it. The gorgeous dock at the edge of the lake is also on this side. For those that like to be closest to playground, Golf, activitoes or the slide pool then 28 is the closest with 29 being the other half of the building. 30 and 31 are away from all of the activities if you prefer less traffic. The gym is open 24 hours and had very up to date equipment. It should also be noted tha

I was in town attending my graduation with family and friends. After that trip, I was suppose to head to another state for work, but that second leg of the trip was canceled due to the Corona Virus. This left me with a few days layover. I decided to try Extended Stay based on a friend’s recommendation and it was close to where I was and around lots of stores and restaurants. I was exhausted but stepping into the Extended Stay perked next up. The scene was right from first sight and followed through with good rest through the night. The room was just what I needed to feel at home but perhaps the part of the deal was the warmth and friendliness of the people. The manager , Camille Huyghes went out of her way to ensure I had a good stay. She answers all my questions, attended to room preferences, and was cordial by nature. All of the workers that I encountered had the same demeanor. My only problem was that I wish I could stay longer. Looking forward to returning. Stefan.

We booked multiple rooms for me to copy. Satisfied, I have stayed at a good motel near Disney. The layout of the room is still a typical motel, but the conditions are better than normal, and it is cleaner, big, and many houses. Check in at the front desk will require map I found my own house, which was opposite Universal Studios. We booked a room without breakfast. The next day I went out for a three-minute walk and had a McDonald's. I had breakfast and packed the food for lunch in the park. The room is good in hygiene, the hot water is great, the Ferris wheel can be seen in the corridor, and the surroundings are lively. We went back to the hotel at more than nine o'clock after watching the light show from the animal kingdom. Doors, such a scene is normal in China, but in the American large rural areas, I think it needs to be mentioned specifically. I feel safe when I have a light. Next time I visit Universal Studios, I will continue to choose to live here. In addition, Ctrip is really a conscientious merchant. For the same room, Ctrip is much cheaper than Booking. Therefore, even if it is settled in RMB and the exchange rate factor is removed, it is more cost-effective to choose Ctrip.

We enjoyed this hotel very very much. Yes it needs a little updating, but it is one of the cleanest hotels I've been in. The staff was so friendly. They chatted with you, but most of all smiled when you were walking out/coming in. We ended up with a suite with a kitchenette which was a total surprise. If we knew our two meals in Orlando were not so terrific, we would have cooked them here. The room was so quiet. The hotel was central to everything. Enjoyed it very much and will definitely rebook when we are back in Orlando.

Lake Bryan
We’ve stayed at pretty much all the MVC properties in the Lake Buena Vista area. This was our first time at the Imperial Palms. The rooms are pretty spacious, perfect for our family of 6. My son slept on the sofa bed in the LR and it was very comfortable. It’s a newer style sofa bed we have seen and some resorts and hotels; it’s a foam mattress so there are no springs poking through and it’s big. My son is 6’2 and he had plenty of space to stretch out. The only reason I don’t give this property 5 stars is the bathrooms need to be renovated desperately. The tile have been given a facelift with white paint and painted grout, but the shower pan in the master bath was disgusting. It’s stained with dark grey in the crannies of the textured bottom. Housekeeping staff were lovely and very accommodating and tried their best to get it cleaner for us but it really just needs to be replaced. The smaller pool located right next to our building is also very dated, but it’s fine for the kids. This property is very close to WDW and made getting to the parks quick and easy. In August the points required to stay here is a bargain for a 3BR. It definitely isn’t a resort like Grande Vista or Lakeshore Reserve, so if you’re looking to spend your days at a luxurious pool this isn’t the property for you. Yes you can use the World Center pool but it’s far away and a pain to get to from here. If like us you’re just looking for a comfortable place to lay your head to do WDW this is a great location.

I was only staying one night in order to go to Disney very early the next day, I am not too far from Orlando but figured I would get more sleep. Now I wish I would have just sucked it up and got up early. Everything was fine until we got to our room. It smelled like cigarette smoke. I thought it may be coming from outside and started unpacking as it was almost 10pm and my 6 year old was already falling asleep on the bed. Then I went into the bathroom and discovered the source of the smell. It was like someone smoke multiple cigarettes in there that day. It was SO ANNOYING and disgusting. Since it was somewhat confined to the bathroom (and I was unpacked and my kid was asleep) I didn't call to switch rooms. Any other scenario and I would have. Unfortunately I could smell it on our clothes when I got in my car the next morning so clearly I should have switched. Other than that, everything was average and acceptable for just a place to sleep but the smoke clearly overshadows it. Not sure if they gave me the smelly room because I booked through Hotwire last minute or that is just normal procedure for them. I highly doubt they were sold out and could have left that room to air out. There are so many options in Orlando so stay somewhere else.

I enjoyed a ten night stay at this Homewood in September 2020. My only complaint happened right off the bat, as my preference is a high floor room. I was assigned a second floor room prior to arrival and when I got there, the best the front desk could get me was third floor (out of seven). This didn't turn out too bad, as I was only disturbed by the upstairs neighbors once. Otherwise, things were fairly quiet. I booked the king one bedroom suite, which has ample room for a solo traveller. I think the web site lists it at 464 sq ft, but it felt bigger to me. The closet space is a little awkward, but does have a safe. Rooms were mostly refreshed in the last year, with new carpet, furniture, and appliances in the kitchen. It did not appear the bathroom was updated too much. The room was very clean and they seem to be following the "Hilton CleanStay" program. Housekeeping is offered every third night during COVID, but that is negotiable with the front desk. Since I wouldn't need service the day prior to checkout, I scheduled housekeeping after my third and seventh nights to have my bed linens changed. The front desk provided any amenities needed in between and the housekeepers always asked when they saw me in the hallway. Renee was the employee I interacted most with and she was great! She was always working hard with a positive attitude. I don't think she takes too many nights off! Pool and fitness center are shared with the Hilton Garden Inn next door. I used both these amenities with no issues. No issues with wifi, other than when using the fitness center you need to hookup to the Garden Inn. Renee was able to provide the code. I love this location! It is close to Disney, Universal, and shopping. I walked to and from Disney Springs a few times during my stay. It's pretty much a 2.5 mile walk from hotel to World of Disney. The hotel has a shuttle service that goes to some of the parks, but the times it was offered did not work out for me. There is a Lynx (city bus) bus stop across Palm Parkway which goes all the way to the Disney Ticket and Transportation Center for $2. As for shopping, the Vineland Premium Outlets are quick to get to and there is a brand new Target within a mile. I saw a review mention there are no restaurants nearby. I disagree, as there are countless chains within a 10 minute drive. I look forward to staying here again the next time I visit the Orlando area!

Our family stayed here for nine days while doing Disney and we have little complaints. Hands down, the nicest staff -- everyone was helpful, kind and checking in to make sure we had what we needed. Traveling during COVID has it's downfall, but the hotel followed guidelines of the CDC, State and it's own in-house rules. We rarely even saw other guests. Everything was updated. The room is on the small side, especially for a bigger family with a lot of suitcases. And I didn't feel like our bathroom floor was that clean -- the grout needed some work. But all and all, you really can't beat the price for the quality of place. We were planning to stay closer to Disney at a resort, but once we learned that all of the amenities were stripped due to COVID, we stayed here and so glad we did. It's really minutes to everything and is surrounded by several eateries and a few grocery stores.

After Hurricane Sally caused our cancelled flight into Panama City Beach AP (ECP) -- near our home in Florida’s Panhandle -- we were fortunate to call this Hampton Inn Hotel and speak with Nick, to make arrangements for our one-night stay before driving home. Nick sent the shuttle to pick us up at the airport and he even called us back to let us know that the shuttle had arrived for us! He was very helpful and informative – and we definitely appreciated it after a long day of travel from the West Coast. This Hampton Inn has a great location too – right across the street from Bonefish Grill – dinner was wonderful! Here’s our Review Criteria: 1. Bed: Great – very comfortable! 2. Cleanliness: Excellent! 3. Quiet: Excellent! 4. Size of the room: Excellent! 5. The Internet worked perfectly! 6. TV worked perfectly! 7. Breakfast was typical. Always a Key Question: Will we return? Of course – if we ever get stuck in Orlando for another Hurricane!
