We stayhed here to see family after the holidays. Similar to the Castle Autograph in Orlando, this hotel is below standard for an Autograph. It is worn out (but less so than the Castle). I would say it is a tad dingy and dirty. Service is also mixed. I asked for fresh towels on day three of our stay in the morning. The Bonvoy app said they were delivered. But nothing was delivered. When I called downstairs that night, they rushed up some towels. There is no also complementary water in the room for Bonvoy members. You have to ask for waters at checkin. I don’t know why this bothers me so much. Its not that hard to put water in the room. They stock the minibar with it (for $5/bottle) and when I asked, they said I could use the minibar if I had to. The upside is the hotel is super popular at night. Its like covid doesn’t exist anymore. There is a nice vibe downstairs although I’d avoid it as I’m terrified of catching the virus due to a pregnant wife. The downside was breakfast. It was a nightmare on our first day. The hotel doesn’t have enough staff so we were asked to wait ten minutes before being seated. Then we waited another 45 mins before being served. Other tables were seated and served before we were even offered coffee. At one point, there was a line of people out the door waiting for breakfast. All of them left. The hotel also ran out of bred. I know the hotel industry is suffering with labor and supply shortages. The manager, Nicole, was doubling as our waitress but she was part of the problem. When I posted a review on Google and Tripadvisor pointing out breakfast took over 90 mins (close to 2 hours), she called me the next day at 9am to tell me she cares. I appreciate the effort, but the buck stops w her for being a poor manager. And who calls at 9am for guests on a holiday. There was plenty of front of house staff from what we could tell (we owned a sit down place in London at one point). She said they were redoing breakfast and had a solution. Her idea was to turn it into an open buffet with unmasked (and possibly unvaccinated) guests serving themselves. I think a better alternative would have been to have a served buffet. Just my two cents. We walked down to a nice coffee shop about 15 mins away and ate there. On the last day of check out, our keycard didn’t work. This is normal at Marriotts where the card times out to the original time. When I went to ask the guy downstairs for an update to the card, he said he couldn’t possibly honor a late checkout, even for a platinum or titanium member. But the Bonvoy app told me I had a late checkout confirmed. He then told me he is in charge of the app and told me that was impossible, and asked me to show him my app. I did and it was pretty clear in the app that I had a late checkout confirmed until 4pm. I don’t see why he felt the need to argue. We actually had a second reservation for another two nights, but we cancelled it to switch to another hotel. In these troubled times

We chose this hotel for its location to a concert we were attending at the Dr Phillips center for performing arts. It is extremely dog friendly, free pet stay and free toy and frizbee. Last minute we ended up getting a dog sitter. This hotel is literally walking distance with safe cross walks to alot of things! Parking is 25$ valet which is standard for downtown Orlando. Everything to the check in process was smooth, fast and easy. Shantal was so pleasant but we delt with Joel most of the time. He was accommodating and even took time to show us the dog rescue binder since there was no rescue dog in the playpin. I wish we were staying more than 1 night because the place is beautiful, the pool, the lights at night!!! Thanks for a great stay!

Stayed 2 nights at Downtown Orlando Marriott. Easy walking distance to downtown area. Room was clean and good amenities. Quite even though right on the highway. Bathroom was clean. We belong to Marriott Reward program called Bonvoy. They gave us a free lounge with full breakfast and open all day for water and snacks. Open in evening for Wine and snacks, however, we did not use it in evening. That was really nice and we appreciated the effort to make us feel welcome in that way. The only thing that takes it from a 5 star to a 4 star is that when we checked, my wife grabbed a couple bottles of water. The person checking us in failed to mention that 30 feet away we could get free bottled water from the VIP Lounge. Instead he decide to simply say nothing and charge us for the water. Not too big of a deal but could have mentioned the VIP lounge was open... I would absolutely return to this hotel for any future Orlando visits.

Keisha and Anna were an absolute joy to deal with at the front desk. We had been thru hell and back at the airport and missed a connecting flight. This left us stick at the airport at 12:30 AM with no where to go. Keisha immediately checked us in and provided empathy for our hard day. The hotel room was large and clean with very comfortable bedding. The customer service at this hotel was SPOT ON. Also the hotel is located in a great area that is close to many restaurants and 8 miles from the airport. I will definitely stay there again!

The Delaney Hotel is wonderful find! It’s a modern, stylish hotel with amazing amenities and friendly, competent and helpful staff. My room was over the top! Love the decor and the bed and pillows are so comfortable. I really appreciated the special little touches and attention to detail… from the espresso machines to the luxury bath products, to the complementary water! The gym had a great assortment of machines, weights, balls and mats. The Delaney Tavern is spectacular… do not miss out on trying some of the delicious food and beverages! Thank you to all of the wonderful staff… particularly Keenigya at the front desk who was outstanding and made us feel so welcome! We will be back!

The accommodations at the Wingate Orlando Int. Airport hotel are average at best. Our room did have mold in the bathroom and a broken shelf in the shower. That's the good part. We flew into MCO and landed around 11:15p. We picked up our luggage and called for the hotel shuttle to get us (@11:45p). We waited....... At 12:20a we called to see where the shuttle was. My call was put directly on hold.......music. I hang up. At 12:26a I call again.......ring, ring, ring, ring.......no answer. At 12:28a I call again and I am told the shuttle is on its way, but there is bad traffic. Bad traffic at12:30 in the morning? Okay? We wait.......and we wait....... At 1:20a the couple next to me, waiting for the same shuttle hangs up his phone and turns to me and states the shuttle driver has gone home for the night and no more pick ups will happen tonight. We hire an UBER and get to the hotel around 2:00a. By the time we got to the hotel a staff change had occurred and the new staff had no idea what was going on. I did get reimbursed for the UBER that morning when we checked on. Come to find out, the shuttle van does not state Wingate anywhere on the van. The shuttle van has Ramada Inn decals on it. What the......? To add insult to injury, the party we were traveling with had their reservation cancelled with no contact for some reason...........so we had unexpected roommates that night. Beware of this hotel.

We have booked this hotel in the month of NOV 2021 for 5 days. This is an apartment style living hotel which we loved. Very close to Disney World. We always book our hotels near to the destination as we travel with kids who are very energetic and cannot wait to get to the destination. Coming to the hotel, it's home away from home. It's like a studio apartment. We never saw a hotel providing the kitchen utensils and cookware, but here I was surprised to see all the utensils. They provided utensils for a 4 member family. Plates, Bowls,Spoons,Forks,Knives,Spatula and cookware. We also had a coffee maker and small coffee machine, instant coffee packets and sugar packets. They also gave dish liquid, kitchen towel rolls 2. Complementary breakfast is available. Due to COVID-19 we are not allowed to sit in the breakfast area, one person can go pick all the food. I don't know about pre COVID-19, but during our stay we got a simple breakfast like Bananas, Orange Juice, Cupcakes and Oat Meal Bars... Luckily we had one store nearby where we got Indian groceries. We bought rice, lentils,Ready to use curries and some Rotis. WiFi is available in all areas and is free of charge. Dry cleaning with Additional charge, Common Laundry with Additional charge.Room were maintained very clean.Very friendly front office. They have shuttles to get to all parks of Disney and Universal Studios. Very easy to check out. We just called the front office and told them we are leaving. No need to drop the key. We kept the keys as a souvenir :D . We enjoyed our stay at Sonesta and would love to book our stay with them again!! Would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone...

While it's certainly not a bare-bones one star budget hotel, for a budget property run by a major theme park it's very good. The mid-century minimalist style helps with that I guess. I had reserved a high floor room but they had "run out" by the time I checked in, but they reduced my rate and my parking fee as a result. Still, it's not something you should run out of as it simply should have been reserved. Kind of implies they gave it away to please someone else who was upset that got there before me. But whatever. The room is...small. Borderline cramped, but gets the job done. Absolutely no decorations of any kind on the walls, which is an odd choice but whatever. But still, the bed was comfy, it was quiet, and had everything I needed. The AC was powerful and it went arctic in there pretty easily. The little iPad that controls everything (including lighting) was a nice tough. A power outage for the whole hotel made the TV and iPad unusable on my last night for about an hour, which would've been a real problem had I not been going to bed anyhow. Rooftop bar is great. Nice views, good cocktails, decent food, not terribly overpriced. The food court in the lobby is overpriced though, that's for sure. But at least had lots of options. Could not find a vending machine on my floor. When I asked the front desk they said they were all sold out of water anyhow and sold me one directly. Still, frustrating that I couldn't find vending anywhere on my own. Shuttle to the parks stops right by the lobby and is super convenient. The walk would be a little much in the heat, but probably not too much longer than the walk from the shuttle area to the park gates. Would stay here again given the chance. The amenities are fine and the early park entrance is great. And it's priced the same or less than other nearby off-property hotels.

Review: Extended Stay America 1951 Summit Tower Blvd Orlando (Maitland) FL 32810 General Manager Isabel Munoz We stayed here for 7 nights in March 2022 Location: Firstly, don't confuse this review with two other very nearby ESA hotels. Although the same brand, they can be quite different. Just north of Orlando, away from the "attractions", but very close to center city and the northern residential communities. Fast food restaurants across the street. Grocery within a mile. Other shopping within a couple of miles. The neighborhood is primarily upscale office buildings and residential; well lighted, quiet. We felt very safe here. Not much evidence of nearby public transportation. Outstanding health club complex (pools, ice rinks, basketball, tennis, pickleball, training) a short walk away, but pricey. The Hotel is older, and a bit on the "budget" side (no ice machine, minimal free breakfast, no USB ports in the room), BUT... ...it's very well maintained. Our room and hallway were clearly recently refurbished, with fresh carpet and flooring, new paint on the walls (very professionally done), and everything works. We had a single queen suite, with kitchenette, dinette/desk, lounge chair, and isolated vanity and tub/shower. The exterior windows actually opened, the AC was quiet and powerful. Everything was clean. A coin-op laundry is on the 2nd floor, all machines worked. Internet basic was free, pay for upgrade (we used our Hotspot instead, 4 bars). Other features (that we didn't use): Outdoor pool, treadmills. Staff was friendly and responsive. We asked for and received basic cooking utensils; sometimes the room key card didn't work, but they were apologetic and quickly remedied the problem. Summary: this is a basic, but exceptionally well maintained hotel in a quiet neighborhood. My compliments to the Manager and Staff. We tipped them generously.

My family and I checked in arrived at the pool area around 6:30 p.m. We headed toward the little water park for young kids, since we have a toddler. We were immediately disturbed by the sight of a woman standing with her family, wearing a lacy bra and see-through lacy thong…She bent over right in front of us, creating an extremely disturbing image that made my husband “want to gouge [his] eyes out.” She also sat her naked rear end all over the patio furniture out there. If that wasn’t enough, the couple did not watch their young children at all in the hour we allowed our toddler to play in that area, (while distracting him from the sight we were disturbed by). Their little boy, who could not have been more than 2 years old, had no shorts or diaper on and was wandering all over, out of their sight, struggling up and down stairs…(Have these people never heard of pedophiles??) When a hotel employee came over to start the “Mickey Dance Party” for kids, the bra and thong lady came over, dancing inappropriately right near the kids, bending over again and flopping everything all over…My husband and I decided to get our child the heck out of there before he saw. While the man I presume was the father, watched his wife’s display with a big smile, the little girl (maybe 5 years old), followed my family and I all the way back to the entrance to the hotel. My husband and I looked back several times, trying to get the parents’ attention, but they didn’t even notice or care. The poor girl was wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt in the water. I know there are people in this world who don’t share the same ethical values or concerns for their children’s safety as my husband and I, but I am so disturbed that the hotel staff did not do anything about this inappropriate attire and behavior. I am trying to put this delicately, but in truth, it was disgusting. The aspects of the hotel itself that have been updated are nice, but there are several things and areas that look outdated and/or dirty. The breakfast was very good and the man at the omelette station was great, but otherwise, I was pretty disappointed and do not recommend this hotel.

There is nothing specifically bad about this hotel, there is also nothing specifically great about it. My room was clean which is key and the most important. Credit to housekeeping for this! The biggest problems were with the air conditioning. It was either way too cold or not comfortable at all with humidity and heat. There was nothing I could do to find a happy medium. The refrigerator was turned off when I got there so it took a while to get to temperature, which was a bit inconvenient for the drinks I had just purchased. My room was directly above one of the building spotlights that was malfunctioning. It was constantly flickering all night long and made my room look like a disco. The curtains didn’t close enough to prevent this. The breakfast was one of the worst I’ve had though at any Choice hotel. I realize this isn’t the Four Seasons brunch and you get what you pay for but I’ve been to other similarly priced choice hotels with a much better selection and quality. I was also disappointed that the snack shop they had didn’t have any diet soda of any kind. With that being said, it was an average business stay. It’s a place where your employer will send you with just the basics and bare minimum comforts. This is not a place for a tourist or a leisure stay.

Breakfast is relatively simple, with eggs, bread, waffles, patties, juice and the like. There are a lot of people, but they can be full. You can eat a little before going out to play. If you travel, there is a shuttle bus to Disney, but only to the magic kingdom, you can book in advance. If we go to Universal, we are all travelling by uber, which is also very convenient. When we go, it is about $ 11, and when we return, it is about $ 16. It's about 15 minutes' walk from the outlets. I can still accept it. On the last day, I went shopping and found something very affordable. By the way, from the airport uber past the hotel was about $ 28. When we went, it was 30 and when we returned, it was 26. The environment is very good, the room is clean and relatively new, I feel very good hotel abroad, and the service is very good. There is no extra charge. When I went in, the credit card paid a deposit of about 80 knives, which is acceptable. After that, the deduction for the hotel consumption was refunded to me. Slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste, shampoo conditioner and soap are not provided. Overall, the price is very satisfactory!

We booked this property *specifically* because we liked the idea of having more space than a traditional hotel room - and we could still use the new water park and pool at the main Marriott World Center building. We called at the time of booking (a few months before our trip) to confirm that as guests at Sabal Palms we can also utilize ALL amenities - including the new water park. I spoke directly to the front desk and the woman confirmed that information for us. I called back about a month before our trip and was told the same thing. We flew down to Orlando, arrived at Sabal Palms, and were immediately told that we can use the pool at the main hotel - but NOT the new water park. If we wanted to use the water park we would have to cancel our stay and book a new stay at the main hotel. So - albeit very aggravated - we were planning to do so - but the main hotel was booked solid and could not accommodate us at all. Our kids were so pumped up about the water park and you literally had to walk by it each time to get to the main pool area. It was like a giant tease. The front desk agent at Sabal Palms was very nice and explained that she has been having this problem for a couple of weeks. Apparently the World Center Marriott changed their rules within the last few weeks regarding the water park access, but no one contacted guests who already had reservations made to let them know about the new rules. We ended up canceling our stay at Sabal Palms altogether and moved to a lovely Disney hotel. It's also important to note that there is a ton of construction going on near Sabal Palms units. There are dumpsters and mobile construction units/pods all over the place, and tons of rubble near the tennis court. You kind of feel like you're in the back alley of the shadow of the Marriott World Center building. We do appreciate that the Sabal Palms front desk and manager recognized the issue and let us cancel our stay without a penalty.

Didn't love the food or drink options....but it was better than the more expensive Disney hotel in that regard. The buses were a little better too, maybe because they don't go to as many places or as far. The Disney bathroom was a little better. Also this place had a gym. It looked fairly large. The hours of the restaurant/convenience store could have been a little better. What's frustrating about that is you want to maybe take some pills with some food, and get to the park early, but you can't get the food, because the restaurant/convenience store isn't open yet. The lines at Starbucks tended to be long. I think the main advantage of this hotel is that you get early access to the park. My wife said "Yeah, and it's an hour early access, not half an hour like that other park. So then you get to walk right into the Harry Potter Gringots ride or maybe the castle. Also I love that City Walk is fairly close by. You don't love the food options? City Walk will solve your problem and more affordably. I agree Universal is just more laid back and in a lot of ways just works better for us and our teenager. I gave this a lower grade because of the hotel itself, but I see it as a vehicle to access Universal, that I see as a currently better overall deal and experience. There was also this point where suddenly it rained crazy hard with lightning. I give it to the staff for jumping into action and taking steps to mitigate problems from that. They closed off the pool at that moment and I think in that case they probably should have turned off some of the pool lighting at that moment. The lighting made me think it might still be open.

My wife and I stay here with our Exchange student. The breakfast was not good, just microwave sandwiches and a muffin with sub par juice. The alarm clock in our room was broken (see attached photo). We had cockroaches in the bathroom which I managed to kill one of them (see attached photo). And when we called the front desk they never answered the phone. The worst part was when we use the hot tub and the chlorine levels were so high that it bleached our swimsuits and I got chlorine burns so bad it caused my skin to peel where my swimsuit was. When I told the staff that they should put up a sign and not allow anyone in the hot tub that evening until the chlorine levels drop, they basically ignored me and no sign was put up. When I called the general manager he did nothing. The only plus about this hotel is its location in close proximity to Icon Park. That said, there are many other options I would highly recommend you choose over this hotel.

We booked multiple rooms for me to copy. Satisfied, I have stayed at a good motel near Disney. The layout of the room is still a typical motel, but the conditions are better than normal, and it is cleaner, big, and many houses. Check in at the front desk will require map I found my own house, which was opposite Universal Studios. We booked a room without breakfast. The next day I went out for a three-minute walk and had a McDonald's. I had breakfast and packed the food for lunch in the park. The room is good in hygiene, the hot water is great, the Ferris wheel can be seen in the corridor, and the surroundings are lively. We went back to the hotel at more than nine o'clock after watching the light show from the animal kingdom. Doors, such a scene is normal in China, but in the American large rural areas, I think it needs to be mentioned specifically. I feel safe when I have a light. Next time I visit Universal Studios, I will continue to choose to live here. In addition, Ctrip is really a conscientious merchant. For the same room, Ctrip is much cheaper than Booking. Therefore, even if it is settled in RMB and the exchange rate factor is removed, it is more cost-effective to choose Ctrip.

It's annoying, so I'm pretty familiar with Ripple, but this was one of the best hotels I've been to so far. The facilities are so great. In particular, I think it is a huge advantage to have a water taxi from the hotel to Universal. I didn't expect much for a water taxi, I just thought it was like a flume ride, wow... The view while riding a water taxi from the hotel to Universal is truly spectacular. I thought it was a Southeast Asian resort. Rather, it was so good that the way I took the water taxi was more memorable than the Universal. Personally, I go to Universal, but I think that not taking a water taxi is half the trip. I know that about 4 universal partner hotels operate water taxis, so I recommend taking a water taxi even if not here. There is a waiting line, but you don't have to wait that long, and if you don't want to wait, it's a really good location, only 10 to 15 minutes on foot. The hotel pool is also really really good. There are palm trees and you can enjoy the unique Florida atmosphere. There is a slide and a hot tub, so it's really good to take a break. I used the restaurant in the hotel lobby, and considering the US price of 15-20 dollars per menu, the price is not too burdensome for a hotel. The cocktails here aren't the best, but I think they're good enough to end the day well while relieving your weary body. Because it was Christmas, a wonderful guitar performance was played in front of my eyes, and it was a fun time for my eyes, ears, and mouth. The breakfast buffet wasn't great, but it wasn't lacking either, it was just a hotel breakfast buffet. The price of accommodation was in the late 200,000s/day range, but considering that it is Christmas Day, one of the peak seasons of the year, the price was not too bad. The price was similar to the Hilton near Disney where I stayed the night before. I personally liked this place much better than the Hilton there. I liked the hotel so much more than I thought that I would like to stay at the hotel all day without going to Universal. I couldn't do that due to my tight schedule, but if you're planning to stay at a hotel here, I recommend that you enjoy a full day at the hotel during your Universal itinerary. The pool, restaurant, and bar are not open 24 hours, so if you stay in Universal until Universal closes, I think you will not be able to fully enjoy the merits of the hotel. Lastly, since it is a large hotel, the friendliness of the staff was mediocre, and there is an additional charge for using fast Wi-Fi.

We went to the hotel for a few days with my grandchildren. Check in was quick and our rooms were beautiful and spacious. We didn’t spend much time in there as we went to the pool and to Disney. The hotel was quite busy as I think there was a convention during those days but it didn’t bother us. Everything was perfect! We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast and the staff there was great. Shout out to Erika! My grandchildren were looking forward to it every morning. I think it is important to emphasised the great work as well as the one that is not. In this case we met Deighton, the front desk manager. He was flirting with a coworker. I think this issue should be addressed. Check out was fast and we met Robert, another manager. He was awesome and very professional!

So I am writing this from the hotel now. I chose this hotel for 4 reasons. 1- Marriott's superior name in hotel business. 2-Location. 3- I needed a kitchenette or at least a microwave And 4-I visited my cousin here in 2016 and it was AMAZING But I must say I am very disappointed. The hotel is in an EXCELLENT location. The staff are very pleadant (Thank you Mr Khalil -evening reception) and the lady in breakfast is v sweet. And the hotel is quite clean. Rooms are ok-sized and beds are confortable. But that's about it. It cannot be Marriott standard. It is so dated. There is a terrible smoking odour. The breakfast is very very VERY poor (packed) They run out of hot food before breakfast time is over And I found moldy bagles in breakfast. I complained to reception lady and she promised to tell the manager at 3pm!!!!!!!!!!!!! As if it was sthg like towels were not available nit a HEALTH HAZARD!! I told my son to take a photo but he said: mom never mind..tbe whole left side of the bagel rack is moldy! It is true that they removed the charge of the first night as a compensation ..but only after I called Marriott central. I thought they would be horrified about the incident and call me or leave a message in my room or anything. But no they did not. Nothing. Till I called the hotel company But my daughter is still terrified of eating any bread or bagles from there still. What kind of a holiday is that? And the worst thing ever? Is I visted a friend in a near by hotel Double Tree by Hilton sea world and her hotel was a FABULOUS resort v close by..and it was cheaper. 200$ cheaper. My kids were very frustrated. I am sure the manager will comment saying they reached out and solved my issue. But sorry no they didnt. And till this minute they didnt even send an email (or in all honesty maybe I didnt receive it). It is I who went to the front office and made an issue. But removing 1 night charge will not remove my daughter's fear from eating here. So..in short I probably wont stay here again. If you are looking for Marriott standard..don't look here. If u only care about location..this us a good place to stay. And I am not very happy with my stay.

I traveled with my child. It was nice that Disney or Universal were near. Car hire is also available at the hotel. Resort blood is $ 30 per night including tax ~ I was worried about cleanliness but very clean, The staff were friendly. However, there was a product that passed the expiration date of the coffee provided, but I was surprised that it was normal, so I was hungry after drinking it. Anyway, I was glad to give you the right product after that. Next time I'll stay in a Sheraton with good value.

Very close to the airport, get off the plane and call the hotel, they will tell you where to wait for them to pick up, 10 minutes later the car will arrive, really close. We returned to the airport and sent it to the hotel. Each time we gave a tip of 5 knives for reference. The hotel is a very ordinary airport hotel, it is completely acceptable to stay for one night, breakfast is in the lobby, quite rich

Zero stars! JW Marriott- Grande Lakes ruined my family's first post-Covid vacation. We selected Grande Lakes for several specific reasons. Less than a week before our arrival date, I received a poorly written email at 10:58p telling me my room was "relocated" to a different Marriott due to "delays with room renovation". I thought the email was spam due to the writing. I quickly called Marriott to inform them they'd been hacked and someone had access to my reservation info. When I called the hotel, I was told my reservation had been cancelled for an unknown reason. I spoke with 3 different people that night (and into the early morning hours of the next day), but no one could explain what happened. Each person I spoke with assured me they’d fixed the problem and my reservation was reinstated without issue. I even received an updated reservation confirmation, although the price had been increased by $600 for the (now) lakefront view I didn’t ask for. I was assured I wouldn't be charged the difference. The Marriott Bonvoy loyalty rep I spoke with (person #3 who kept me on a nearly 30-minute hold) was the final one to assure me everything was fine. She said I'd receive a new confirmation directly from the hotel with the corrected price. The next morning, I hadn't received anything, so I called the hotel again and spoke with person #4. She said the reservation showed cancelled again. What?! I'd spent hours on the phone past midnight just a few hours ago. Person #4 wasn't sure what happened to the reservation, but, after a while, told me she'd fixed the problem and my reservation was fine. I explained how upsetting the entire situation had been and how I couldn’t trust that everything was okay because she was person #4. She assured me she'd fix the price and would send the updated confirmation in 10 minutes. A couple hours later, I get an email from person #4 saying she was able to confirm the original email (the poorly written one) was, in fact, correct and my reservation had been relocated to a different Marriott location. Now, I'm back at square one. Not one time did anyone say there are no rooms available at the property- remember they'd upgraded my room to a lakefront view. After several back-and-forth emails with an Assistant Front Desk Manager (Tricia and the writer of the original email), I was basically told there was nothing they could. I told her that was not acceptable and she eventually came back to say she would allow me to keep the original reservation at Grande Lakes vs. the relocated reservation at World Center. Who just relocates a family's hotel location? Obviously, the room renovation excuse was a lie because each person I spoke with kept reinstating the reservation. To make matters worse, when I asked for a confirmation from Tricia after she “allowed” me to keep my original plans, Tricia told me there wasn't one- I needed to use one of the numbers Marriott Bonvoy had already told me was no longer valid. So, I was supposed to trust

I took the time to look for a good hotel option, since my trip was with my daughter, the hotel really seemed good to me but I looked for "breakfast included" and in the photos they put the restaurant. When I got to my first "breakfast" they told me ahhh it's not here it's in the store! Continental breakfast? They gave me a tray with a cold tasteless bagel, an apple and a juice! That was not a breakfast! It looked like food for a beggar! I did not go back for my "continental breakfast" I was very disappointed by this! On the other hand, I sought help with a couple of issues: I didn't get a good internet connection and they couldn't help me when I asked for help on where to test for COVID. I would recommend trip.com but not this hotel. It is a pity because it is beautiful and very well located. But I did not feel well cared for.

We had a change of plans and had to get an earlier flight home and needed to find a hotel in Orlando for a good night's rest before an early morning flight home. We didn't use many amenities with such a short stay. We were greeted nicely upon checking in and appreciated the details of the hotel and stay. Since it was later in the evening when we arrived and we needed to get to bed quickly we opted for the late night dinner at the hotel. It wasn't exceptional, however the pizza was good and the salad was pretty good. The service at the restaurant wasn't great, however we didn't mind too much. It is nice they offer this option for those not making the dinner hours or just arriving late and wanting food still. The room was cleaned well and all the staff around the hotel were very friendly and cordial.

It's an older hotel but it's good. I don't particularly like the $100 deposit considering I only paid half that on Hotwire for the room. We had a ground floor room and it had laminate flooring rather than carpet, which always makes the room feel cleaner (which in this case it was). There were no bugs anywhere and the bathroom was clean. My wife said the water in the shower could have been hotter but it wasn't like it was ice cold. The beds were okay, it felt like they were memory foam mattresses which was good. There were plenty of pillows so we had enough even though we each sleep on 2-3 pillows at night. I wish the sign was lit because it would have made it easier to find off of I-Drive but just look for the Black Angus Steakhouse and turn in that driveway. It's hooked to the hotel. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

To be honest, it was a pretty basic no frills room. My family had a comfortable stay and everyone was extremely helpful and hospitable. It felt cozy and humble after a few days and the pool was beautiful. It has a built in store for all your needs and a Applebee’s right in the hotel. As well as a free Disney shuttle (scheduled) to the parks. It’s not the closest hotel to Disney so less access to other specialized Disney transportation options but it’s very cost effective and it’s maybe less than 15 minutes away driving (Magic Kingdom). It was very clean and made for some cozy memories forever. That being said… the negatives… The key has to be slid into the door rather than tapped like more modern hotels and plenty of times the sensor would not go off if I did it too fast or slow. The main light switch doesn’t turn on the lights (you have to manually turn the lamps on) and the air conditioning is only controlled by the thermostat. There was a connecting room feature that kind of just connects to the next room over and obviously stays locked, kind of made me more uneasy than I’d like to admit. Basic furniture. The tv was very simplistic and didn’t have access to Netflix (smart tv capabilities) but it was fine because I only used the tv to entertain my child on our Disney trip and the Disney channel was available. The paint treatment for the walls is kind of hideous and the lighting makes it kind of worse, those lazer yellow white light bulbs make the place feel uninviting. The way that you get to your room is to walk inside and outside again then inside. I wasn’t feeling that much lol. There is one big window but we never really got to enjoy the view as the shade covers the whole window (so people can’t see you when they walk by your room). You can enjoy the view from the shared balcony though. but the negatives aside it was genuinely not bad. Most of the problem is that the hotel seems a little outdated. Being a family trip, it seemed to kind of work for the feeling of coziness. The staff was super helpful and it felt welcoming overall and gave us that feeling of home away from home.

Reasonable, clean and well appointed accommodations. The hotel is located on a much better part of I-drive, and off the main road, so it is very quiet. The pool area is wonderful with copious amounts of furniture and cabanas, and Colin is a great bartender at the on-site Tiki bar! There’s a great, quick shuttle to universal, and it’s only a $10-$15 Lyft/Uber ride to any attraction on I-Drive. About the only gripe we had was the fact that you had to pay for breakfast ($13 for adults, $7 for kids), while it is included for guests across the street at the Hilton Homewood.

Typically all I give are pros when I’m staying at a SpringHill Suites but as my tithe stated it’s had pros and cons. PRO’S: it’s in a beautiful location and is extremely clean! Close to Super Target, restaurants and shopping in addition to the Mall. Got a great rate with our Friends and Family discount even though there is a $12 parking fee per night that I somehow missed…..INCLUDING charging for handicap parking which I personally think is ridiculous! CON’S: we almost exclusively stay at Marriott’s all over the US and I have NEVER had them insist on seeing my husbands ID instead of mine, since both our names are on the F&F form. He was unpacking the car, the line was getting longer and it was totally inconvenient….the end of the world, no, just extremely inconvenient. Came a day early, so we ended up with 2 reservations. Although we got to stay in the same room, which we appreciated, they couldn’t merge the reservations and I had to go back down to the desk to check out and recheck in, re-swipe my card, and re-activate our room keys. The lady at the desk was very nice and I told her my husband had health issues which made it hard for him to sleep at night and so he had just fallen asleep, could she let housekeeping know NOT to stop at our room, we didn’t need anything. She said she notified them and I believe she did, but not 45 minutes later….housekeeping woke him up and entered our room. Was it the end of the world….no….but it didn’t need to happen and could have been avoided. Talk about kicking up your adrenaline being startled out if a dead sleep! Haven’t even told the desk yet….I feel like why bother. They’ll say sorry and that’ll be the end of it. 🤷‍♀️

If you are like me, who just use Hotel in Orlando for bath and sleep, here is the best cost-benefit. The hotel is decent, clean and with great staff in front desk. The only downside is the mattress, for me is too soft, but nothing that made me stay awake at night. The room is great, with microwave, small fridge, iron, hairdryers, etc, basic needed amenities. The breakfast we paid per day (May/22) and it was 8 dollars. Its simples but for us, it attended perfectly. Pool we have not used. I will say it again: if you prefer to spend your money with other things (there are SO MANY other things to spend your money with!!!), that’s a great budget hotel to stay in! It has what you need. If you are a fancy person, and need the best shampoo in your room, the best bed, breakfast, all clean like a white hospital room, maybe you should spent triple or more and go to Disney complexes. The hotel does what is expected from it. And i felt safe while staying there. Free Wi-Fi and park. Do not think twice, go with Monreale. Hope this review helps you to decide. PS: If you do not speak English, no worries... Staff speak.... 80% of the guesses are Brazilian and Spanish speakers, few of them Europeans. Seems that American people stay away from it, and we were curious about it. Do not they like Brazilians? Do not they like to save money with a budget hotel? Have no idea why..... but the fact you do not see Americans there (we haven´t).

We stayed for two weeks in Feb 2022 on a BA package. We wanted somewhere easy for Universal and also not too far from Daytona International and this fitted the bill. Let's do the negatives first - room was dark even with curtains open and lights on. The alarm clock seemed to automatically reset for 6am each day - so be warned! (To be fair, I just reset it each day and did not ask at reception how to stop it, instructions on Google didn't help). We did find that people shouted along the corridor to friends in different rooms and allowed their kids to run up and down the corridor - parents, please be mindful of other people! The positives - which far, far outweigh the two negatives! Large room, two very comfortable beds. Working fridge and microwave. Air con was very effective. Lovely clean towels every day. Swimming pool - warm and good quality towels provided. No resort or parking fee and security on the gate at all times. Walking distance for some restaurants and not far to others. We chose to walk to Universal - around 30 minutes, wide pavements, plenty of crossings etc so felt perfectly safe. No interaction needed with reception apart from checking in and out and staff we did encounter, were always friendly and polite and greeted us with a cheery hello. I didn't need to use the laundry facilities but they looked good. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
