Each of the seven rooms are unique. I would like to think we had one of the best, with high ceilings, a small balcony, and view of the piazza. The bed was comfortable, with nice linens. The bath was large, with a large shower. Wi-Fi worked well, and there were plenty of outlets for phone and laptop charging. We meet several staff members during our two night stay and all were very courteous and helpful. We parked in a metered spot near the cathedral and walked in with our bags. The lady at reception explained that we could park in a free spot near the piazza, so I moved the car. It worked well for us for two days, even the second day when we returned late in the afternoon. The only thing nicer than the breakfast was the beautiful breakfast room. Service was perfect.

Centrally located and within reach of all places of interest. We arrived by car but parking wasn't much of a problem in a street nearby at no cost. Receptionists were very helpful and gave good advise how to park our car nearby and pointed out places of interest and gave suggestions of where to go, which indeed were worth visiting. Room was quiet, spacious and clean, including bathroom. Appreciated that toiletries, WIFI and mini fridge were supplied. Breakfast was simple yet good. It provided the essentials: cheese, salami, bread, yoghurt, fruit, croissants, juice, tea and coffee. Really appreciate that they gave local produce and all was fresh and genuine. We were really satisfied with our stay and would definitely return if visiting Oristano again. The only negative point is that they have a lift but it only operates till the first floor. Since our room was on the second floor, we had to continue with the stairs. It wasn't much of a problem for us, but it would have been if having kids or if have mobility problems. Would definitely return if visiting Oristano.

I stayed for 4 nights. The hotel was modern, simply decorated and very clean. The room was large and airy with a good comfortable large bed. The bedroom was serviced daily and the friendly housekeeping staff kept the rooms spotless during my stay. The air conditioning worked well and there is a fridge in the room. The bathroom is basic but very clean and functional. Good to see they take environmental issues seriously with recycling bins in the corridors. The breakfast was included in the price and was varied and plentiful with decent coffee. Will definitely return again sometime this year. The hotel is a very short walk from the town centre.

This is an “old school” traditional hotel which is a real jewel in Sardinia. Staff are amazing, polite and very helpful. The rooms are lovely old world charm with proper furniture and high ceilings (if a bland chain hotel is what you like then this is not for you). Breakfast buffet is nice with a coffee machine, pastries and a variety of breads and cold options which is sufficient to start the day and it is constantly replenished (if available, try to get a table outside). Had no problem parking close but make sure you are not in a blue line bay as they are charged. Hotel restaurant is amazing by the way, try it.

A former teacher & perfect English speaker. This was bar far the warmest welcome I’ve ever received, anywhere on the planet! My immediate regret being is only booked for 1 night. Never before have I wanted to spend so much time with a B&B owner. The B&B is set around a central courtyard with rooms leading off & I suspect former stables or stalls of some form. I was given one of the rooms on the second floor of the huge main building. These are a recent addition according to Salvatore, ones he is justifiably proud of. The rooms are spotlessly clean, as is the en-suite bathroom. The rooms have AC below the window & are very efficient. WiFi was a little problematic, but I was warned of this upon arrival & there was already an engineer trying to deal with it. The bed was possibly the best I’ve used in Sardinia, the pillows a perfect match. The small flatscreen TV has a number of channels where the Italian dubbing could be removed giving you many more options to watch. The bathroom was spotless, with a huge & very clean shower tray. The yellow tiles within being equally as invigorating as the shower itself. A warm breakfast shared with Salvatore. A wealth of local knowledge & keen to share the history of Oristano, including the former & original outer perimeter wall defence which runs through the middle of his dining area. Salvatore’ wife prepares all the cakes for breakfast, there is also a selection of local meats & cheese, Salvatore being justifiably proud of the Pecorino. Salvatore also provides an endless supply of still & sparkling water from the fudge outside & you are invited to help yourself from the moment you meet. I would unquestionably stay with Salvatore again & I’m genuinely saddened that I don’t know when or if this will happen again. Thank you Salvatore!

We walked in off the street looking for a one night stay but ended up staying 3 nights. The room rate is great value, the staff very good, location close to the town centre, on street parking was not a problem all 3 nights, breakfast was good and plentiful. Not top end but a very pleasant place to stay and I’d certainly go back if in the area again.

It is not easy in this Covid-19 period running a hotel without guests feeling second important, but in Mistral2 they tend to do a good job. Temperature checks are done when checking in for the hotel and for breakfast or the restaurant. The masks are obligatory in many places and the lifts are running on single (room) occupancy. But it works. They had just extended the restaurant area to the floor terrace where we had a good but not special diner one night. The breakfast buffet is not a take-it-yourself but all things are handed to you by staff.Wwhich is also a bit of an awkward thing. Altogether, it didn't impact our stay in anyway on the negative side. That good experience was not totally directed towards the extreme positive side as the hotel has not much atmosphere nor did the rooms add anything special to what you expect of a hotel. Fine beds, bit of small pillows. Sufficient room and wardrobe space but no decoration or colours. Good shower but all simple. Wifi, cleaning, garbage collection it is all that you expect from a hotel but nothing stands out. Location a couple of hundred metres from the city centre and the cathedral as well as the fact that they have a free parking garage doe make this a good choice for a stay in Oristano.

This is a very good hotel, with friendly attentive staff. The rooms are air conditioned and have good sized en suite bathrooms with shower. They are cleaned to a good standard everyday. The swimming pool is perfect with a bar offering a selection of beers, ice creams and coffee tea etc. Breakfast was continental style offering a range of fruits, croissants and cheese and ham toasties. Note: we booked this hotel knowing we would have a car rented so I would advise this as the hotel is too far from the coast to walk. The amazing beaches at Tharos are about 10 minutes drive and are stunning. Oristano itself is a pleasant town with some great restaurants about 15 mins walking distance, would recommend Blao and Tratorria to eat for authentic Sardinian cooking and ask the receptionist to make reservations for you as they get booked up very quickly ! Very happy with our holiday.
