2.85km from The Village GrillThe hotel operates a free shuttle bus, the attached photo shows the timetable. Do not forget the Emirates mall and Dubai mall have a tube station attached, so you can get the shuttle bus then travel on from there. A one day go anywhere, metro, bus and tram ticket costs 22 dirham (£5). The hotel does not sell alcohol so it might be an idea to pick up a bottle of duty free to take with you to lace the hotel mock tails. The hotel does not have a bar. It has a coffee/snack shop located off the reception. The hotel has a rectangle shaped pool on the roof. The area keeps the sun, and the water is heated which is very nice. It opens until 9pm, we went at after 8pm one night and swimming in the warm water was lovely. We booked with love holidays, adding on the evening meal cost very little at the time of booking. The whole package including Emirates flights cost only a little more than a European break and in February we so appreciated the mid 20s sunshine. The evening food in the Fusion buffet restaurant was beautifully cooked, also it included water and fruit juice teas and coffee. Remember this hotel is aimed more to please Arab business/ tourists so no full English for breakfast. I embraced the curry dishes which were great, but cereals, porridge, cooked to order omelettes, toast, croissants or pancakes for the rest of you. Also fresh chopped fruit. Two apps that were good were groupon ae, and entertainer. Look on eBay uk for the entertainer at bargain price. There is a shopping mall less that a five minute walk straight out the hotel, it doesn’t look much from the outside but you can get everything. Restaurants, macDonalds, supermarket, Pharmacy and more. See attached photo of the mall taken from inside the hotel. On some of the English web sites it says you can’t check in this hotel after midnight. This simply isn’t true. We checked in at 2am. If you have any queries the email contact address is email@example.com The area round the hotel is scrub and sand, lots of half built hotels etc. If romantic views from your room are required you won’t get them. But as the other reviews mention it is a very stylish hotel inside. There is good free WiFi everywhere, free safe in every room. I didn’t like the pillows ( two puffy) or the shower. The staff were lovely, so polite and kind. I down loaded an app called careem, it was very good ,a bit like Uber but you can pay cash and tip. To Atlantis palm it was 72 dirhams (£16) rush hour. The hotel isn’t perfect, I would have preferred to be able to walk to a metro station but it is awarded five stars for value.
