Not our first stay here.
Supposed to check-in at 3pm but got our key only at 5pm.
Staff at the lobby could improve on their customer service as guests are paying a premium price for their stay. The way they communicated with the guests was quite unprofessional, which we strongly believe could be improved.
As for their rooms,they did some renovations (toilet door & wallpaper is new. New Smart TV was installed prior to our arrival but with minimal channels to view). We did not use the pool this time but do bring your swim wear if you plan to stay here.
Our premier room was super clean as always, aircon was cold, bed was comfy (wished we were given 2 pillows each instead of one) and overall, we had a comfortable and relaxing stay.
Two Thumbs up to the housekeeping team for keeping the room clean, always providing us with fresh clean towels & making the bed every morning!
Will definitely return for future stays!!!
I planned my proposal during the stay with the warehouse. The room absolutely is a perfect place for proposal. The staff are all so helpful with my proposal. During the stay i enjoy the very superb friendly and wonderful service from both front office and F&B. The foods serve are great, i love the breakfast more than most of the hotels i stayed before. The room is soundproof, you hear nothing in the room even though it is right next to the road. Literally 10 steps from the main road. Is totally out of what i had experience before. I am really glad that i ever experience staycation with the warehouse.

1. Room was ok even though there’s a rug on the 1st floor which we all know which be exactly clean
2. Swimming pool was a mess 🙁 The umbrellas for shades are so dirty and the cushions for the sun beds were all over the floors??

Perfect place. Just that if you are mandarin speaking or elderly couple who only can speak dialect don't recommend because they don't have much chinese/mandarin speaking staff which make communication a bit difficult. So far only meet 1 mandarin speaking staff that can communicate with my mandarin speaking preferance and most of them all speak great english with malay, indian or philipino language where only can see mandarin speaking staff during the day and it makes me hard to bring out my request because english not good sometimes will misunderstood a conversation as sarcastism😅 so if you are english speaker and quite independance person then this hotel is perfect for you but it is not suitable for me even though this is my third time returning back. The hotel is good just that the staff can recruit more mandarin speaking staff so that it can encourage more mandarin speaking people to stay here because communication is the key🙂
Check in early at 12pm. Despite a crowd. It was fast and we got the room keys with little fuss
Big compliments to the dining team at lunch and breakfast. You can tell the staff had good rapport especially Chinese uncle and Malay uncle doing room service. Only improvement suggest to the green polo t trainees. They could be better trained and make more effort in their job.
For hotel fnb. The taste of the Asian dishes were very good! Very worth the use of our dining credits.
Room was basic but fully functional. Water pressure. Bed firmness and tv channels were great. Had a relaxing stay exploring a different side of Singapore from long walk down the river to dining options at Robertson Quay
Nice and spacious family room with sufficient pillows provided. A very dated TV that doesn't work but we didn't really need it. Toilet, beddings and towels were clean, pool was not crowded and had nice shade in the evenings which was very good. My kids liked the balcony. We asked for an extra chair in the room and received it in a jiffy. Breakfast menu is ok, few of the items change on alternate days. Overall, staff are friendly and service is good, lifts are fast and efficient. Toiletries can be improved - the shower foam and shampoo didn't have much of a scent nor foaming effect. Showerhead is a little old but bathtub is clean.
Normal hotel but the security is abit weak as the lift doesn’t have the tapping card access function to all hotel customers. Fridge is not so cold but still working. Toilet is abit small and heater sometimes hot sometimes cold. Quiet hotel , tv is abit old kind. However , overall is quite good for budget hotel and staff all is very friendly!
The only reason I am still staying in this hotel is because of Duty Manager Ismail. He has gone above and beyond to make our family's long term stay a pleasant breeze. We stayed for more than 1 week with what we paid I believe we can be long term vip guests at this hotel. At check in they gave us an early check in which was kind of them. Then as we were starving me and my daughter wanted to eat Ala carte at the Food Capital. There was a very ineffective waitress at Food Capital who told us we couldn't sit there because it was for high tea, and then we couldn't sit here because its a buffet restaurant. We were only allowed to sit at 3 specific tables or the counter. Just so dumb and infuriating. We didn't patronise at Food Capital the whole time.
Then Housekeeping - Housekeeping at level 16 can afford to be cleaner and more attention to detail. My experience is never hire men from the Chinese mainland to be Housekeeping as they take no pride in aesthetic and cleanliness. The club level which we stayed in 2908 for 2 nights was much better in Housekeeping but the lady receptionist/waitress Jennifer can afford to have more PR skills. She is absolutely a robotic and unwarm human. Shirley who took over during Sunday was much better, special mention to her service.
Finally overall, this hotel can still maintain its 5 stars if they manage these areas for improvement. Keep good people like Ismail and promote him for he will take the hotel far 👍🏻
It was fuss free check in. Service was great and staff were efficient. Room is clean. I love the roof top infinity pool and jacuzzi. Breakfast was okay. Will definitely book this hotel again. Thank you for the good hospitality.
Check in was smooth. Location is great, walking distance to clarke quay & chinatown. Special mention to one of their staff, Rajini, thank you for the free upgrade to Grand Room on the 9th floor with a superb view for my anniversary!!! Room although a bit old still looks quite good and spacious. There is quite a big pool and 24hr gym.
The aircon is superb and you can connect to your Netflix account on the tv! For the price for the type of hotel you getting, its one of the best bang for your buck in Singapore.
Will definitely recommend to my friends and will come back in future!
Service is very good, very warm, enthusiasm, the environment is more general, older, but the price is similar, the location is not bad, close to the subway, travel is still convenient, durian can be eaten near the hotel at night, this is very Nice
I am impressed with Far East's business plan to brand Oasia Sentosa resort as a place for people to refresh, restore and relax. Guests can join the programmes at the resort such as aqua zumba, morning qigong, evening yoga and workshops. The hotel lobby has a nice scent and the signature massage at Oasia Spa make my tensed muscle relax. The close proximity to Palawan beach and Imbiah Station makes it convenient to explore the island. I would come back for another spa & stay.
The hotel is being renovated so facilities like swimming pool is unavailable. There is a makeshift gym I tried which cannot compare to the original set up. The previous gym was huge and well equipped; I hope after the renovation the gym will be just as good.
Room size was decent and clean. Love the monogram tea provided and even the mini bar was complimentary which I find was a nice touch. Overall a very enjoyable stay and hope to come back again soon!
I first stayed at the SEA Hotel back in 2014 as it was recommended by my aunt and uncle who always stay here when in Singapore. I love the place. It’s old and rustic (a throwback to another time) but for $100 SGD a night with a fabulous vegetarian buffet breakfast included (Kwan Im restaurant) and prime location in Bugis you couldn’t ask for anything more. Also when booking the staff are excellent in replying to queries and give very detailed information about getting to the hotel and airport transport options and nearby attractions. Free wifi was included and it was fast and reliable. The staff on the front desk were friendly especially the girl who checked me in. Bugis+ shopping mall (10 levels with cinemas, food/retail options galore and taxi rank) is less than 5 mins walk. I use this as a taxi pick up/drop off point to various attractions from the hotel. Bugis MRT Station is 5-10 mins walk and is on the airport line (10th station from the airport, with 1 change at Tanah Merah, cost only SGD 2.50) The Kwan Im Temple is right next door and worth checking out (it gets very busy with local worshippers). Directly outside is a pedestrian mall with a flurry of activity with market stalls and street vendors. The hotel is simple and rooms unadorned with only the basics but it’s all there and excellent value for money. They do request you leave your key if you go out and recollect (24 hour reception) but I conveniently forgot to do this most of the time and it was never a problem. Oh and don’t even think about bringing durians to the hotel!
We just loved the boutique and high class feel of the hostel whilst it also maintained that communal feel which we love too. The rooms were really comfortable and the mattresses perfect for us. The pods had great curtains which blocked out light and added privacy whilst staying in a shared room. Also loved the touches like two sets of lights one brighter and one a bit dimmer as well as the plug and slippers too. Location was ideal for exploring the city being a short walk from public transport, varied places to eat, a 7/11 below and not far to walk to the marina too.
I was upgraded to the king size bed room which was slightly bigger. Despite that, the room is still considered smaller than an average room. The hotel and room are nicely designed with a cosy theme but there are not many storage space, no cupboard and limited charging points in the room. More ideal for 1-2 pax short term stay. The toilet sliding door can’t close well too and there’s no lock to hold it. Despite that the room is still pretty comfortable and cosy.
Location wise is ideal with lots or eatery, MRT, buses and malls nearby.
I arrived at Hotel about 03:35 AM. It was the time that all the people are sleeping. I was a little bit confused about my check-in because when I arrived at the counter he didn't ask me about my check in information.He just only asked me that I was paid or not and I said I've paid already then he showed me my room without asking to show my passport or check in information. Did he know me that I'm the girl who booked at 19th and arrived at 20th?? Maybe!!!🧐🧐
Never mind! The room is very fantastic and comfortable. I felt like I was in an spaceship🚀😅🥰. Since I was travel alone in Singapore I was afraid of sleeping at room alone.But the hotel is very safe .I really loved this place and next time when I come to Singapore, I promised that I'll book this hotel again ❤❤❤❤❤
Second time back here! this time round we booked their Loft. It’s my partner’s birthday and they were kind enough to decorate the room and gave my partner a nice gift set. The staff that were doing the night shift was really good. We had a guest in our room so she came up to our room to inform us that she Has to go to the washroom for awhile so if we were to call the recep to open the door there might be nobody to pick up the phone. She took the extra effort to come up to inform us when she didn’t have to. Truly appreciate it a lot it’s the little things that makes their service impeccable. I forgot to take down her name but it was a petite Indian lady.This is one of my partner’s fav hotel and so we will definitely be back!
Booked for the Hellokitty staycation on 2 March . At first Fairmont did not provide the customised wooden box amenity for the staycation , afterwhich when they announce it on their Instagram page , we messaged Fairmont to ask . End up they ask us to collect at their hotel concierge counter , but did not customised for us even though we upgraded to the signature king suite !
The windows are unable to open. Carpet in the room smell stench. There is no hair dryer provided.
Service was tip top, when we requested for an extra pillow.
Need to improve with the room facilities and cleaniness.
We were a group of 12 and opted to stay in this hostel booking the whole 12 beds room, which we were very glad to have as it was the room at the top floor of the hostel, meaning the less noisy and more isolated one from the rest of the chaos. Let's start with the room: we had bunk beds with everything you may need: sheets, pillows, curtains to close them at night (great stuff for privacy this!) and personal lockers (you need to bring your own padlock). In the 12 beds room there was a private bathroom too with 2 toilets and a shower, which was very handy as it gave us some privacy. There are also more showers and toilets in the other floors that we could use. Breakfast was provided in a weird way: the first night we arrived we noticed a big plastic box in the room. The surprise was they have left us "the breakfast" for the following 2 days in there, which consisted of bread, jam, tea and coffee. Not what we expected, but it did the job. And now let's move to the worse bit of the hostel: the common areas. There is way too much people hosted in the hostel for the size of the common living space they have. The kitchen is tiny, and there is a sofa at the entrance that is always busy and with lots of people sleeping on it, so you can't really use it. The people staying in the common areas (not sure if they were guests of the hostel or not) was a bit peculiar, so we were glad to have our own space. The front desk is not very friendly but the check-in and out was smooth and easy (beware check-in is not allowed before 3pm). Overall it's a very basic hostel but the location is good.
Booked the single room as a quick 2N getaway for the long Vesak Day weekend. Added breakfast at the restaurant for each day.
- Room was very clean. No visible stains. Standard room amenities were present.
- Business nature of hotel is apparent - solid desk for work, and Wi-Fi is fast and stable. Plenty of sockets available for devices.
- Breakfast at the restaurant was solid. Was a bit disappointed that the selection didn't change on the second day, though.
- Location meant easy access to food at Bugis Street area. Was able to walk to Rochor station within 3 minutes.
- Mini-fridge was damaged, and blanket was missing at first. Replacements arrived after around 20 minutes from call to housekeeping.
- Television was rather grainy in quality, and channel selection was limited.
- Ended up being given a wheelchair accessible room. While the room was a bit more spacious than normal, the curtained off washroom area made it feel a bit like a hospital ward.
- Great place if you're here for a business trip, or if you want to explore the area for a day or two. You might want to consider somewhere more luxurious if you want a relax-cation for longer.
I requested for a high level room for two ago but turn out I have to stay at the 1 level. I have been requested two weeks ago for room 307 or other big room but there give me a 3 level room which is small and with a wardrobe.i have no choice to excpect the level one room.

Had an amazing staycation! It’s meant for babymoon and birthday celebration. The receptionist is very attentive , including the cleaning staff whom noticed that I am preg and offered a pregnancy pillow and anti slip bathroom mats. The hotel also provided a birthday cake. Evening tea, breakfast and even in room dining food are absolutely delicious! Still having withdrawal symptoms after leaving the hotel, definitely will book again!
As an Ascott group member, there are decent expectations of an Ascott experience in all the properties in which I had once stayed (Ascott, Somerset, Citadines). Citadines Rocher (recently opened in 2020) was one of my top choices in having a local staycation because of its location and price range. However, it was an overall disappointing experience, and here’s why: 1. No daily housekeeping service 2. Our bathroom door could not close. It was completely off the ledge. 3. Reception is busy all the time. Phone calls are often not answered 4. This hotel was most probably a designated hotel used for both Malaysian citizens who were unable to return home due to locked borders, as well as returning Singaporeans to serve their mandatory 14-day Stay-Home Notice (SHN). There were confirmed COVID-19 cases within my period of stay. We were notified by a letter from the management. The least the management could do was to provide a mask or sanitizers to guests. We also chanced upon 2 medical workers fully donned in PPE escorted a guest to the ambulance. Scary stuff. 5. We took our own trash out of the room since day 1 of check-in. It was not cleared even upon checking out. Dear Citadines Rocher, please review your services. I had absolute faith and would like to continue giving my support to Ascott despite this awful stay.
check in and check out was fuss free, quick, smooth, good service from them. 5/5 for the whole stay but the toilet was cramped and the toilet bowl has very small space. overall, stay was amazing, aircon was cold, the bed is comfortable, lots of food stall nearby, 711 and shell select was nearby too. would definitely come back. good job!
it wasn’t very very nice but it was okay— normal, aircon is very cold for sure which is appreciated so 10/10 for aircon, counter staff is sweet and deserves a raise, wifi is rather slow tbh — tv is okay and shower gets a little cold after awhile
The location of this hotel is definitely not as accessible as all other hotels I went before. It is only easier if you go via car for the first time. Subsequently when you explore the area a bit more, then you can try the path via the UBS building itself. This information perhaps should be made known on the hotel's website. In terms of cleanliness, one of the cups in my room was not washed cleanly. I can see the lipstick mark of a previous user, with some coffee dripping down that lip mark. Had to manually wash it. I would have been more prepared if I brought some detergent along. In terms of service, you must know that they do not provide additional towels for you, even upon request. You can only go and exchange with what you already have. Example, if you need an extra towel to wrap your hair, it is not possible. One room, if 2 pax, they will only give u 2 towels and one floor carpet. I think this is not a good point. The cafe lodge is nicely decorated, just that food have to wait at least 30mins, even if it is a simple set. And not all food are available. But can just chitchat while waiting, or maybe next time just order in advance. The good thing is that at least there is no insect in the room and bed sheets are pretty clean.
Service was warm and the restaurant staff remembered our preferences and even room number. The room was spacious and well thought out. Only I would have loved a bathtub over a steam bath but it was still good. There is a lounge area in the room with a view of peninsula and the esplanade in the distance. The gym was small but the pool was gorgeous and super relaxing. The afternoon tea that comes with the package is nothing to shout about. Breakfast was not too bad. It was overall a really good stay. They even surprised me with a slice of cake on the table when I came back from afternoon tea.
Little to what I know, there is no TV channels available in the room. Checked with reception, due to upgrading works, no channels are available. A little disappointed. As currently have to take away and dine in, there is no extra big bins to throw rubbish. Toilet is not equipped with bidets, so use toilet paper only.
What i like about here is the rain shower and shampoo is provided. Towel and toothbrush is provided too. Complimentary mini-bar for drinks and consumables. Aircon is cold enough to let me wanting to stay indoor than going outdoor. Bed is comfortable with 2 pillow. Location wise is close to any eateries. Middle of 3 MRT station (Bugis, Lavender, Nicoll Highway).
Definitely recommend for a stay. Most importantly, strong wifi. So no TV its okay. Too bad your home Chromecast doesn't work here.
Room can be cleaner. It was dusty and there were spiders, cobwebs and ants. Housekeeping staffs attitude could be better. Housekeeping staffs are throwing/slamming their equipments after cleaning, this happens at around 7pm onwards which is a nuisance, causing so much noise.
Bilingual receptionist is really a plus point. Adding on, she is polite and well-mannered! Great stay! :) Only downside is that I have to wait for half an hour although the checkin time is way earlier than the time I arrive. Was told that an intern is cleaning the room and the intern will take slightly longer as he/she just started interning.
Love the location - near to Chinatown and Tanjong Pagar! Only one regret is that I do not have the suitable outfit for photo taking...Cheongsam/Peranakan style. View from balcony is gooood and also great for photo taking.

Shiok to shower with strong water flow. Hairdryer provided - great for ladies. Toothbrush & toothpaste, big towel & all-in-one body soap/shampoo provided. They have tissue box, safe, flask & coffee/tea. WiFi connection is good so can surf Internet / Facebook.
Big space in front of bed so can put big luggage. Bed is King/ Queen type. Have small chairs and table. Bigger TV.
Near to lift. Security here is better as guests can enter by tapping with key card.
Fridge is mouldy. Not sure when it was last cleaned. 😅
At night, music from pubs nearby can be heard.

Booked a 2 night stay here for a Valentine's getaway.
Initially thought we definitely had a tub, but found out upon entering the room that not all rooms had tubs. Front desk offered free breakfast throughout the stay as there was no available room for a switch. Breakfast was provided for by Kith Cafe and was delicious.
The kitchen was fully functional, and we utilised it, even the washing machine and dishwasher. Air conditioning system was a bit faulty so the bedroom was quite warm. The bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever slept in. Extra pillows were provided as well.
The bathroom was huge with a large shower area (rainfall) and luxury toiletries.
Service was awesome and staff members would always greet us. Pool was beautiful though there were only 2 sunbeds.

Because of pandemic this hostel is full of migrant workers.a lot of curry smell on cloths washing machine.floors and dining table sticky with curry residues.got one rude Chinese uncle at front office pick problem with stayers.if you dont mind all these good luck!
I just loved this hostel. I read the great reviews of this place and booked to stay for 3 nights. As this was my first hostel stay, I was a little skeptic. This is the reason I booked this hostel for only 3 nights out of the 5 that I was in Singapore. My experience- Staff was extremely helpful, when I checked in I asked the kind lady on the counter for veg restaurant suggestions, she looked up Google and wrote me a list of 5 nearby places. I was early and requested for early check in but unfortunately no room was available and I had to wait but that was ok because my overall experience was great.
Room/bed- I am not sure if this is the general case but my roommates were very polite and didn't disturb when someone was sleeping in the room, I reciprocated this gesture. It was so quiet and cozy that I slept like a baby. Washrooms- there were plenty and separate for men and women. I never had to wait in line, there was hair dryer and it was clean overall. Breakfast- there was one freshly made dish like fried rice and cornflake cereals, milk, bread, butter, Nutella, jam etc available. it was all great. Location- hostel was very near to Chinatown as well as mrt(which is in Chinatown) Chinatown is a great location for shopping btw. hostel had mainly Chinese ppl because of the location and I am not Chinese ,so I really like this , after all, you want to meet ppl from different backgrounds when traveling alone. Staff- staff was so polite and helpful. Linda, Daffany were such sweet people.. There was another girl I forgot her name. Thanks to them for my great experience. I highly recommend this place. I also stayed in space capsule pod for next 2 nights and so I think I am in a good position to review this hostel in Singapore.
