In German terms a larger size business hotel. Breakfast range OK but the breakfast room is rather dark and so its a bit of a depressing start in the day. Restaurant Menu is a giod mix and nice ideas for specials. The standard rooms might have looked like this before the German wall was removed... they are on the lower floors. However when you take the better level they are real good in size, nice TV and a big table for working with a nice views of the city. Negative: The coin system to exit the car park is very uncomfortable as you need to collect your coin every day again which results daily in waiting time.

Very good hotel with modern rooms. Unfortunately there was no airconditioning in the room and it was too hot to sleep. Room was located on the 4rd level, directly under the roof. Restaurant was also good, but high prices.

The NorthApartments Chemnitz provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The NorthApartments Chemnitz offers a pleasant stay in Chemnitz for those traveling for business or leisure. The hotel is just 2km away from Chemnitz Central Station. With Jakobikirche, Staatliches Museum fur Archaologie Chemnitz and Schlossteich all within a short distance, there is no shortage of things to do in the area. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing.

The Biendo hotel is in the perfect location. Right in the center of the main city center. Located above many restaurants, grocery store, pharmacy and shopping. My parents and I walked everywhere. The breakfast buffet is a typical euro breakfast, great to start the day. My only negative is that the bathroom is small, when you take a shower the whole thing gets wet. But that’s really the only problem. Would 100% recommend !

We stayed here in early September - room 201 overlooking the square and corner. Our room was actually 2 rooms in one - the bathroom was separated from the bedroom by a small hallway Our room was air conditioned and the AC worked well. Our room had: tea/coffee making facilities Large TV - with international channels fridge phone but we did not have a safe. The bed was a king bed and extremely comfortable. We were lucky during our stay - on Saturday night there was a classical concert in the Opera Square opposite the hotel - which we thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were OK - helpful but nothing special. All in all - highly recommended - you will not be disappointed. A great place to stay

Stayed for one night on business. I was offered one of the newly renovated rooms. I was really smart and a good size. Bath in the bathroom too which was great. The breakfast on the top floor had great food, friendly staff and had a great choice. Location of hotel is also great for the city.

I just spent a week at the Chemnitzer Hof and enjoyed it very much. First, the good things: * Excellent breakfast buffet. It doesn't look all that big when you first walk in, but it has a great variety of appetizing foods. * Perfect location for the Chemnitz Oper. I was there for the Wagner Ring Cycle and the hotel is right across the plaza. * Pleasant, comfortable rooms. I had a single but, unlike some singles in some hotels, it was not cramped at all. ***And the best part of all: Wonderful and helpful service from the staff. I had some sudden medical issues and had to change my travel plans and find a driver to take me all the way to Vienna. I did find a travel agent who found some drivers but the prices were very high. I spoke with the hotel manager and before i knew it, he and staff members were doing everything they could to find a driver for me. After a few days they did--at a much lower price. And the driver turned out to be a fun and interesting guy. Thanks again to all who helped. Now for the negatives: * Not only is the hotel right next to the opera house (good) but also it is right next to a church whose loud bells ring seemingly at all hours (bad). The hotel does provide earplugs, which help, but this is a definite problem. * There is no a/c. This can be a major problem as it can get quite warm in Chemnitz. I was there in April and we did have some very warm days then--it will only get worse as summer comes. The hotel will kindly bring you a little fan but i was doing a lot of work in my room and even with the fan, it got quite warm. It did cool down in the nights and you can open the windows so that is nice. But if the hotel wants to be a truly fine hotel, it will have to bite the bullet and pay for a/c. In fact, I would not give it the 4-star rating it claims because of this alone. You have been warned if you will have a summer stay!

Stayed here twice this month with my wife and 2 year old daughter. The place tries to emulate a typical 50s style US motel. And it does it so well! The rooms are furnished in style (see pictures), though everything is very modern and clean. There are 6 regular motel rooms where you can park just in front of your room door and two rooms in water towers. We stayed in the regular rooms, once on the ground floor and once on the first floor. Both rooms were clean, big enough for our family (including a complimentary crib), had a nice bathroom with shower and a well equipped mini bar. There are tram tracks just next to the motel (between the motel and the very nice American restaurant, where they also serve you great breakfast), but there was no noise at all. Overall, highly recommended!

Very pleasant stay, good communication when booking, friendly staff, superior breakfast in a nice environment. he advantage is the possibility of parking in the free zone near the hotel, access from the hotel to the center leads through a narrow street between beautiful historic buildings with restaurants. The hotel is not entirely in the center, but the walking to the center is very pleasant. Chemnitz is known for its high-quality public transport and three tram-train systems that connect the entire area.

Quality - Price relation of this hotel is good. The price level is fair for the quality you get. The rooms are clean, confortable and have all you need. Parking for car is spacious, and free of cost. Hotel location excellent. on outskirts city I save 10 minutes every morning to go out from Chemnitz, for other alternatives like Opera or Alexanders (hotels are better, but more inside city and more expensive). Staff is friendly. I will return for several times, if price keeps same level. Recommend for who is at work, and want to sleep in confortable hotel.
