The location of the hotel is very good, it is very small, two boxes can not be opened flat in the house. Going to the surname bridge, murals, museums and supermarkets are very close. There is a net red coffee outside the hotel, you must try it. The hotel started to take off your shoes from the door and it was clean. The black brother at the front desk is very enthusiastic. I will give you an introduction to the game. It will not be Chinese or English. Hotel breakfast is average, very small variety, coffee bread slices. Overall praise.

I saw that this hotel had a high score before departure and it was very new. Let me talk about the advantages and location. It is opposite to the top of Penang high-rise building, and there is Shantou Street Mural Street nearby, but there is a concentrated place for eating, drinking, and fun. It can be reached on foot The view is also very good, the top floor of the hotel is a bar, the consumption is not expensive, the view is good and the band However, the sound insulation is really poor, and the shading is not very good. The downstairs just happens to be a traffic light intersection. As long as a motorcycle passes by in the middle of the night, it is noisy, and it is even more terrible. You can feel the volume of the alarm Then health is also average The room is not equipped with slippers and a hairdryer. You can call the front desk to get them delivered. So, I could n’t sleep well for three nights

The Magazine Vista Hotel in Penang is more cost-effective. When choosing this hotel, I consulted for a long time, such as booking (more reviews, good or bad), Ctrip (only a simple review). Because it only opened in 2018, the hardware is very new, and the hygiene is good. I especially like to have a washing machine, but I have to find a place to dry the clothes indoors. The location of the apartment is very good. On the left is the GAMA supermarket, and on the right is the landmark of Everbright. Fruits and snacks have their own favorites! Call the front desk before arriving at the hotel, because the front desk is not here, so call in advance and the hotel will send staff to wait at the door. When you call, you need to speak English. There is a Chinese-speaking waiter. India borrowed "Di Li" (transliteration)-Figure 6 this one. If you call him, you will have no difficulty in communication. He will come to collect a tax of MYR 10 per night, introduce room facilities, and even help you set up a taxi app on your phone. The network is poor and it can't be connected for a few days, so it is important to buy a local phone card. On the second floor facing the street, the noise of motorcycles on the street is loud, which will affect the rest. These problems are not big, this hotel is worth recommending.

Stay again for one night because of the price and comfortable room. This time room 214. Cleanliness was good. Aircond a lil bit sound but no problem for me. The bed was good as usual but the pillow was too soft this time. Tv got many channels to choose. The room price was lower than yesterday. It is suitable for short stay to have a rest. The surrounding area dont have any shops. You have to walk 5 minutes towards the main road.

Clean, well organized, and the waiters were friendly and friendly, these all met my needs. Located in the city center, very close to the Everbright Building. The appearance of this hotel is also very obvious. You can see this tall building from a distance. It is very convenient to find the hotel. There is a large supermarket around, and Parkson Shopping Center is very convenient for shopping. There is also a small supermarket downstairs for shopping. I think it feels very good to live here. The swimming pool on the top floor is also very clean, and it is pleasing to swim. I live in this room with more than 20 square meters. I think it is very spacious and very comfortable for me. Blackout curtains are very tight. If you want to sleep late during the day, you can completely block the light. The central air conditioning is also very powerful, and the noise is not very loud, I think I chose the right place to live here.

Very Disappointed with the hotel. Firstly i did get the room that I booked. I booked for a king size bedroom n i gt 2 single bedroom. My room was only available at 9pm due to lack of housekeeping staff and turn over of pillow case and bedspread but i was compensated with breakfast since i did not book the room with breakfast as everyone know penang is known for its food. When i checked in thr room i realize that there was no towel provided hence i called for room service n i only got the towel only after 40mins. Then when i was taking my bath i realize the soap grill had remaining of soap sticked to it which was not cleaned. Even there was a thick layer of dust on the tv on my assumption it was not wiped for more than a week. There were cup stains too on the dressing table. Many guest was complaining abt the room availability n one of the guest’s room was cancelled without informing him and he drove all the way from Malacca. IM *NOT SURE BASED ON WHAT THIS HOTEL WAS RATED 4 STARS*

Breakfast was good and the room was quite new. There were a lot of small lights in the room and it was interesting to find the switch. There is a mosque and an Indian temple in front of the hotel. There is a night market street downstairs at night. There is a Hongxiang Bak Kut Teh opposite the hotel intersection! If I need to summarize my stay at Noordin Mews into one single descriptive, that word would be SENSATIONAL. But one sentence does not do justice to the experience we had so it is only fair that I elaborate further to accurately capture my experience on this marvelous property with my fiancé and golden retriever pet. Noordin Mews is situated within a cluster of heritage buildings that likely have a history of at least half a century if not more. Its exact location is sandwiched between shop lots and its outside appearance does not give off that distinctive vibe of a traditional hotel. However, upon our entrance into the reception area, we were transcended into the colonial time of Old Malaya. The bygone interior was maintained in its most virtuous state. Equally praiseworthy is the common dining space, pool area, and room interior where the antique elements and modern decorations seamlessly fused to define a modern Peranakan building. However, it is not the building that made our stay memorable. It was the staff and excellent customer service that we received that distinguished Noordin Mews from other hotels. The noble yet pleasant treatment provided by Belinda, Edric and Anung manifests the familiar warmth which I can metaphorically relate as close family members or friends visiting over Christmas and New Years. In addition, their attention to details and ability to anticipate our needs as pet owners on vacation exceeded all our expectations. With limited resources as a boutique hotel, the staff had gone above and beyond to ensure every aspect of our stay is taken care of. One example I could recall was when Edric would give his best effort to provide us a lengthy recommendation of the best street food or restaurant in town even though he was occupied with serving guests of another private event. At the end of the stay, the staff of Noordin Mews had not only become a family to us but also to our dog. This has to be a bespoke customer service of the highest standard, representative of the Malaysian hospitality that make connections between places and between hearts.

The staff here are polite, but thats where it stops. Not at all welcoming, and even less hospitable. The mood here is, frankly, depressing, so much so that I noticed the other guests walked around on tiptoe and conversed in whispers. Occasionally they played some tasteful music in the lobby, which brightened up the mood, but most the time it was silent. Primarily a hostel, but with a few budget private rooms, the property is located on Carnarvon street, half a block from Chulia. The location is prime, right in the geographic centre of the historic part of the city. A short walk from from hundreds of restaurants, pubs and stores. Two blocks from the free CAT bus stop, two minutes to the stop on the corner at Chulia, and a five ringgit grab ride from the ferry dock at the Weld pier. My room, on the second floor, was not overly clean, and neither was the ensuite shower/WC, which was borderline unacceptable. The bed, not very comfortable, took up most of the room. There was room for a desk and chair, but the only other furniture was an ugly mirror cum bedside stand, an uncomfortable stool and an IKEA style drawer set for clothing, but nothing else. Housekeeping here appears to be be pretty lax, with overflowing ashtrays and trash receptacles throughout the public areas. The A/C worked well, although the wifi was very slow, with frequent “brownouts”, even in the lobby. Breakfast was included in my rate, every day the same: Instant coffee/tea, chocolate sugar cereal, DIY toast and jam, and cold rubbery scrambled eggs. Pretty much the priciest, and least pleasing, of all my stays during a month in Malaysia. I’m sure there are better options in Georgetown, within a couple of blocks of this location. There is no shortage of competition in the neighbourhood.

I checked this hotel on Booking.com and all look nice. Actually, I got surprise when I saw it in Penang. The main gate is really small and we almost could not find it. Inside the hotel was a little bit old but it was still lovely with vintage decoration. A big inconvenience is the elevator could not run and we had to bring the luggage to the 4th floor by our hands. But fortunately, the staffs were reallt nice and helped us a lot (actually there's only one man helped us). The rooms are small and have no windows but all furnitures inside were great. Cool ac, soft bed and warm shower. From this hotel, you can move to other highlight points of Penang easily 😉

My check in was late at night. They had me booked in for the wrong dates despite my confirmation and they wanted full payment on arrival plus a cash deposit over and above the room cost. I insisted on seeing the room as the reception area was less than charming. The room was awful but it was now past mid night so I had no choice to stay for the one night. The room was dirty, there was grime on all the touchable surfaces, black in places. The level of cleaning was as if it had been done with the same filthy cloth for months on end. The paint was flaking off the walls and every panel of the built in furniture was worn out and damaged. The breakfast provided looked nothing like the pictures on the info cards, it was really poor quality and the dinning room was dingy and rather ugly. In fact the web site is totally misleading in representing the reality of the poor standard of the whole place. Seriously, give this hotel a miss.

The former residence of Zhang Shishi is a little far from the attractions in the center of Georgetown, but it is acceptable. When I wandered around the door, I also met the cats who had been wearing the Elizabeth Circle. The hotel is very quaint, the decoration of the hotel room is quite a combination of ancient and modern, even the keys are old-fashioned bronze. The living experience is good. The three-person room we set is very large, but there is no need to live simply because we want to visit, because the place to visit is not particularly attractive, it is a typical Nanyang style building. There are not many breakfast styles and the taste is just as good. The reception staff's service attitude is not bad, only English communication, but the other one is just like the general, I feel very impatient.

What a lovely hotel! For the price I was paying, I was not expecting much. But everything, from the hospitality to the room, was amazing! The room itself is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and wonderful to come back to after a long day of wandering. The air conditioner works great, the shower has actual hot water (not a given in Malaysia, I've found), and the bed is comfortable. The hotel provides extra little touches, like fantastic, thick, large towels for the bathroom and daily water bottles. Netflix and Youtube are connected through the tv, so you always have options. And I was thoroughly impressed by the housekeeping staff, who seemed to do a deep-deep clean every morning. The location is excellent. It's not in the center of downtown, so you don't have the noise and craziness, but it's only a short walk away. Even better, it's super close to Komtar, the main bus terminal. If you are going anywhere too far to walk (or if you don't want to walk far when it's 90 degrees outside!) the free CAT bus and all of the other intracity buses are only a couple of blocks away. It was perfect for coming in on the ferry - I hopped on the free CAT bus, got off at Komtar and walked 5 minutes. I understand as well that the hotel will lend out bikes for use of the guests, but that's not my thing. Something that won't matter to a lot of people, but I loved, was that there are 3 incredible vegan restaurants within a 5-minute walk of the place and great coffee places only a block or two away. Wifi was good. Other than a blip one night when it was slow (I think it was a provider thing, not the hotel), I was getting 15mbps download speed. If I return to Penang, this will definitely be where I stay. Highly recommend!

I've been travelling in se Asia for 3 months, and this hostel has been one of, or the best, hostels I've visited. The location is perfect. Its on a quiet street just off from the centre of town. It takes only a couple of minutes to get to love Lane for drinks, little India for food or chowrasta Market for art- each in different directions. The service here is outstanding. Rayson, the owner, is one of the most welcoming people I've met- he takes such good care of everyone who checks in. The facilities are all clean, tidy and in good order. The social space is only small- but that means you're always sitting down next to another traveller and starting a conversation. It's a very relaxed setting, so perfect chilled vibe. In the evenings, it's easy to kick back with a beer here and find people to explore with- either for an adventure the next day or to find more beer later that evening! Rayson will sort you our with everything you need to make the most of penang- which was an amazing city to spend time in. I've reccomended many, many people to stay at house of Journey. I want to go back.

Phenomenal, Fantabulous, Splendid Exclusivity Stayed At The 15th Floor - Executive Suite. Had a remarkable phenomenal, exclusivity treatment and first class stay at the 15th floor executive suite. Booked the executive room, however we wanted the the high floor room with sea facing view, we were then offered an upgrade to executive suite with additional 150RM/ per night for upgrade. And we agreed to it. No regrets, every penny spend is worth more than the money paid. At this executive suite, we are offered not only experiential exceptional phenomenal service by the staff, were also given exclusivity Pampering Indulgence at the executive lounge for cocktail and free flow of drinks from 6pm - 8pm everyday. They served wide range of wine white or red, even champagne free flows, beers and other alcohols. They have light bites serve like beef stew, lamb stew, chicken wrap, shrimps and even oysters. Cakes and fruits platters was fantabulous awesome. The experience was superb here. Quietness and exclusivity is indescribable. The rooms was amazingly superb huge, with sofa and kind size bed that is so soft, comfy and very relaxing. The mini bar is free flow usage for those staying at the executive suite. The view on this floor is amazingly splendid. We were offered to either have breakfast at the executive floor or the “taste cafe” downstairs at the hotel. We tried both, tough downstairs cafe for breakfast have more choices, however we prefer the breakfast upstairs where the eggs and coffee were served to us like a first class by the waitress, and it’s exclusivity was phenomenal like king and Queen. The room is big and beautiful. It’s not the hotel’s problem. Although it’s quiet during the day except for bird calls, I really can’t stand singing K loudly around two or three in the evening until midnight. I want to cry without tears! I don’t know if it’s only on weekends/holidays. We happened to be staying in the New Year’s Eve and the first and second day of the new year. It’s best to wear earplugs! In addition to the constant firecrackers, how could Jay Chou's song in the first and second grades of the first and second grades be so unpleasant? Although this quaint heritage hotel is beautiful and distinctive, it is basically not soundproof at all. People upstairs can hear every step of their walk. Those who are afraid of noise are best to choose the room upstairs.
