Staff is super friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Nice location and close to River Walk. Great value for the price. I will definitely stay here again when I visit for leisure and relaxation.

Stayed one night. LIKES: Great location near airport Surprisingly quiet Nice, large, modern room Comfortable bed Accurate HVAC DISLIKES: The main lamp on the long piece of furniture had a bad LED bulb that flickered and finally died. I tried swapping it with the lamp in the corner near to window, but it used a different type of bulb. One of the two bed lamps was also not working. That's 2 of 4 main lights. Bathroom light was similarly awful, even though all of the bulbs were working. Don't expect to get a close shave in the bathroom. The shower looked nice and modern but was a terrible design; the right door slides to the left, in front of a stationary panel. But the water valves were behind the left glass panel. Unless you play for the Spurs or the Lakers, you can't reach the water valves without getting inside of the shower. Nothing like 50 degree water to wake you up in the morning. In addition, the shower pan was exceptionally slippery (without having used any soap or shampoo). I suspect there will be injuries at some point. SUMMARY: My guess is that the 2 malfunctioning lights were limited to this particular room, although I can't believe that housekeeping didn't notice them. As for the shower, enter at your own risk... and wear water sandals.

This property is exempt close to the airport and is very helpful for business travel flying in to SAT. The WiFi is strong and stable and the desk allows for maximum productivity. I had a late flight and checked in after hours and Blanca took the time to greet me warmly and acknowledge me as an Elite member. We picked this hotel for the location was close to an event we attended. My husband also had points available for this IHG brand. The hotel was nicer than I expected, updated and clean. Bed and sheets were very comfortable. I also enjoyed the containers of water w lemon/limes offered in the lobby. The only complaint I have is the hand sanitizer dispensers were all empty (I tried 2 in the lobby) so I went to front desk and the helpful employee gave me some from a bottle she had. Very friendly staff! We went to the bar late night for a nightcap and met Noah. Noah was enthusiastic and engaging w us and his other guests. What an asset he is to this Crown Plaza establishment. Although this hotel is considered ear the airport, we only heard 3 airplanes overhead the next morning. Don’t hesitate staying here!

For starters I would probably give this a 3 1/2 out of five but I couldn’t figure out how to do the half. Very nice pool, Very nice dinning area and breakfast! The only real problem I had was we had to keep our blinds closed and turn the temperature down to 67 to maintain a 73° to 74° temperature. Although it was a record-breaking heat week I still feel like a better AC would’ve handled this no problem. We were there for a week and pretty much had to keep the blinds closed all week because if we didn’t the temperature would get up to about 78. I also wish the bathroom was a little bit bigger if you’re using the bathroom you feel like almost claustrophobic with the tub right there very tight bathroom. The service was great, the staff was very friendly, and they also provide happy hour every day you stay up to three alcoholic beverages and light snacks. If you need a cheap place by the airport I would recommend this.

I was very pleased with the 2 Queen Deluxe beds. The room was very nice and clean. I would definitely recommend staying here. Book non smoking and if you smoke. Smoke in your car or outside. There is a $25.00 per pet fee for pets which is nonrefundable and that's understandable and reasonable. Breakfast is the usual waffles, cereal, etc. At least it's something. If you prefer a grand slam, take yourself to Dennys and buy it. If you purchase the deluxe room you have a coffee pot ( the one in my room was missing a tube so it didn't work), the fridge and microwave worked great and I reported the coffee pot. Guests should always report issues. If you do not report issues then they will not be corrected so instead of writing a nasty review. Report the issue. Give the hotel a chance to correct the problem. That is all have a good day.

First off, the Marriott website describing this hotel as ”Newly Renovated,” which was why I booked here, but this is not true. The rooms are terribly outdated - worn and dirty carpet, the bed was super saggy and uncomfortable, and the TV was really small and looked like old tech. Bathroom was also sub-standard - I found a pubic hair in the wash cloth - gross! They only offer valet ($30). I got in at midnight, left my rental with the valet and came back at 6am to get my car - I was on my way to my daughter's BMT Graduation ceremony at Lackland. When I got into my car, it wreaked with marijana smoke, like someone was having a grand ol time on the midnight shift. I was appalled and extremely worried as I was about to go onto a military base! Who knows what paraphanilia was dropped in there. I also was concerned because after a couple of days, the smell was still present and I am not supposed to smoke in the rental! I brought it to the attention of the valet manager but his response was really lame - he gave me an ”oops” face. I was expecting something with a little more professionalism. No one checked in with me the rest of my stay to apologize or anything. I had to make a deal about it when I checked out - hence this review. The rest of the nights I opted to park my car in a lot next to the Fire Museum across the street ($25). Location wise this hotel is on the outskirts of Downtown. You'll need to walk about 10 min to get to the start of River Walk. I really wish I did not stay here. The crappy room and the marijuana incident (and the hotels lack of concern) - it really dampened my stay in San Antonio and on the occasion. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone!

We stayed July 17-July 18. Picked this location due to it's proximity to Pappadeaux's and Cigars International. There was a large conference and the hotel was sold out. However, the property is large enough not to feel crowded. The elevators are very fast. The facilities are clean and well kept. Free happy hour with snacks from 4 to 6 every evening. The rooms were quite. Really enjoyed our stay. Check in staff were friendly and efficient. Very welcoming
