Myself and my husband stayed Friday to Monday at the beginning of May . Hotel is in a great location with the beach and a lot of attractions only 10/15 minute walk. Hotel was very comfortable and clean, breakfast was amazing. We had dinner on one evening in the hotel restaurant , food was very good but felt there could have been more choices. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially Max on reception. Hope to return in the near future. John and Geraldine

The customer service is young, friendly and lively like Barcelona. The lobby, first floor bar and roof terrace are all modern and comfortable. The rooms are very small but small and are designed to be easy to use. The bedding and chairs are of good quality and very comfortable. The quality of the bedding and furniture is higher than the five-star hotel we stayed in Dubai, and it seems that we are considering the comfort of our customers. There is also a city bus right next to the hotel to Park Guell. It's a shame that the kettle and tea aren't there, but it wasn't a problem as it was about a 10-minute walk to the Bole district where delicious bars and cafes are open until midnight.
As a solo 58 year old traveller who had never stayed in a hostel before I was surprised how much I enjoyed my 5 night stay here. I stayed in an 8 bed female dorm and found it to be spacious enough for us all and very clean in all areas. The chill out room on floor 2 was very relaxing and a cool space away from the heat of the day. I used the kitchen area and again it met my needs. Particularly liked the roof terrace and enjoyed meeting travellers from all over. The bus stop is a few yards from the hostel and although I didn't use the metro it was also close by. There are lots of cafes and shops and a large supermarket near the hostel and the beach is 2 minutes away. The hostel has cctv and security staff and I felt very safe there and the area where it is located is really nice. I would thoroughly recommend the hostel and would definitely stay there again if I was visiting Barcelona. Don't be put off by the negative reviews.
The modern fashion sense of the room layout of the ibis Styles hotel is indeed better than the ordinary Ibis! The room is not big, but the living is very comfortable, overall praise! The design of the bathroom is not very clean, and the water is easy to reach the majority of the bathroom when taking a bath! The hotel is not in the city center, it will not be next to the Sagrada Familia Cathedral. It can be walked for more than ten minutes from the hotel, and it is only by the sea. It is only seen in the car when you go. Unfortunately, it is not going. ! The booked room contains breakfast, it is quite rich, and the taste is not bad, especially the doughnut, really super delicious! However, I found that the local breakfast was eaten as a brunch. From the morning, I had to eat at 11:00 in the morning. When we arrived on the first day, it was 10:00, and I found that the restaurant on the first floor was in full swing! The next day we ate around at 8 o'clock to go out to visit the sights. It was already 11 o'clock when we came back. It felt a bit hungry. I saw a lot of people still eating there, so we went to the point where we had to eat again. Ha Haha!
Breakfast can be eaten in the open-air restaurant. From time to time, there are pigeons flying to meet you. It is no stranger to them, and they are determined to be frequent guests here. The view is good, the coconut tree stands up against the sea breeze. There is also the hotel's iconic landscape - Conch, which is blowing the horn of the departure!
What a perfect place to stay and explore this amazing city! Just walking up to the doors of the K+K is already lovely with the giant columns, tree-lined street, and a clean appearance. The receptionists were more than friendly and the interior is gorgeous with a fancy bar area, comfortable seating, an outdoor terrace, and the breakfast buffet. We had the Picasso’s Corner room with 2 balconies looking different directions and we loved the fresh air. Also, the doors really help keep any sound out at night and the bed was excellent. We enjoyed wearing our bathrobes up to the rooftop to swim in the pool and sunbathe. The views are best from up top! Lastly, the location is hard to beat. Directly next to Ciutadella Park, 20 minute walk to the best beach in Barcelona, 12 minute walk to the cathedral, and so much more. I even walked to Sagrada Familia from here. Would LOVE to come back here in the future!
Chic & Basic Zoo is located in El Born, now one of the most fashionable and cosmopolitan districts of central Barcelona. On one side is the Gothic Quarter, to the other is Ciutadella Park, and the port is a few minutes away. From the hotel, you can easily get to the historic city centre, the Gothic Quarter (Barrio Gótico) where the Cathedral, Santa Maria del Mar, Plaza Sant Jaume and Santa Anna are located. The hotel is also very close to the zoo, the Ciutadella Park, beaches and the Olympic Port. In the neighborhood you will also find nightlife, bars, restaurants (the area of El Born is where you′ll find the most typical ‘tapas’) and museums, such as the Picasso Museum.
This time, the room booked by a friend had a little bit of a small situation. The itinerary was temporarily adjusted, resulting in an extra night. I wanted to leave the store early, let the hotel change, and retired the room for one day. A little depressed. However, the hotel's unique location is still worth recommending, business travel preferred.
The hotel is centrally located, minutes walk from Passeig de Gracia, in close proximity of the main shopping belt and restaurants. Hotel is reasonably new and rooms are decent size and nicely renovated. However, I have two MAJOR issues:
1. I was sleepless 4 out of 5 nights because of mosquitoes in the room. I have kept the windows closed and can only assume that the cleaners might have opened the windows.
2. I keep having an issue with the key card, having to go back to the reception EVERY time I wanted to open the door. I have kept the card separate from my phone and credit cards.
The location is a bit biased, and it is quite convenient if there is a car! But the price is acceptable. Suitable for business trips, please note that a hot pot is required to stay in a superior room! I believe the importance of hot water for Chinese business trips! Don't be cheap and save 10 euros without hot water service!
Very convenient to walk to Plaza Catalunya, La Rambla, and shopping like Zara, Lefties, El Corte, etc. Hotel is new and very clean. However not so flexible with late checkout with the reason that housekeeping ends her shift early afternoon. You will need to book for another night to secure the room. At least they provide you with luggage storage and bathroom to freshen up before going to the airport.
The hotel, despite being quite far away from the city centre, is located in a very pleasant, beautiful and quiet area of Barcelona. There are a subway station and a lot of shops a few minutes away. The view from our room (3rd floor, hill side) was stunning. The rooms themselves are comfortable, clean and well decorated. The only drawback in my opinion is the fact that the bathroom isn’t isolated enough from the bedroom. Last but not least, the staff is adorable, helpful in many ways and fully dedicated to customer’s satisfaction. We had a wonderful stay here and there is no doubt we will come back !
Ive had the best stay ever - I can recommend this hotel to everyone! It is very clean and the workers are the most friendly staff I have ever experienced! Me and my boyfriend shared the ‘Patio-Room’, which was very large. The bed is very soft and big too. The bar in the lobby is very cosy and the cocktails look and tasty amazing, hence the pricing.
Our first Superior room was in the 6th floor. When the door was locked there was a gap where I could see right through to the hallway. Obviously not soundproof. The second room was ok. No resuplying the coffe/ tea tray. The coffe cups/ glasses were not changed. They only cleaned them somehow in the bathroom. Probably using their fingers. Not impressed. I told the front desk but they acted like this was totally normal for this hotell. The pool was ok but the bar was closed . Breakfast was ok but the same course all week. Not coming back for this...oh and the pics from the booking site did not represent the reality...
Unassuming entrance off Calle de Aragon with lift to first floor, where another unassuming door opened into this amazing little B & B. Staff, Noelia & Michelle, were both wonderful ladies and made us feel at home straightaway. Room was fantastic, even had a little surprise of chocolates on bed to welcome us. Bathroom was large and very modern. Good selection of food for breakfast which was included, and an added bonus was tapas and wine every day after 4pm included. The guest lounge was available 24 hours a day to chill out with good selection of coffees and teas available for guests. Busy road, but The 8 was so quiet. Central location made it easy to navigate the city and the Metro system. Named the 8 as it only has 8 rooms. Will definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it.
Hotel location is very good, very close to Barcelona Cathedral, go out and turn right about 100 meters. The interior of the hotel is very tasteful and you can see Barcelona Cathedral in the room. Going to the Sagrada Família, the Mila House and other places are all within 10 euros. 5-6 minutes walk from Plaza Catalunya, it is also very convenient to take the airport bus. Personally prefer this hotel to the Grand Hotel in Cologne.
The plane was early the next morning, so I chose this one.
The uncle at the front desk had a very good attitude. He called the front desk after landing T2 and told him in detail where to wait for the hotel shuttle. We landed at about eleven and the shuttle at eleven thirty
Booked the shuttle bus early in the morning the next day, very punctual, about ten minutes drive to the airport
Absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! The service was both friendly and professional...from the staff up front (perfect English), to the doorman, and cleaning staff. Everything was perfect. Very clean and great amenities. It was also my boyfriend’s birthday and they brought him a really wonderful surprise!! I was very happy with the stay and I will come again. Please note the pool is small, so don’t except much swimming.
The hotel is about 300 meters away from the Clinic Hospital station of Metro Line 5. You can go to the Sagrada Familia on Line 5, transfer to Plaza Catalunya, and visit La Rambla and Gracia. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby, good choices. The buffet breakfast is 9 euros, which is cheap, and the meals are plentiful and not bad.
Hotel location is very good, a few minutes walk from the subway station. It is also convenient to the main attractions in the city. Compared with other similar hotels in the surrounding area, this house is very good in all aspects, it is recommended
The breakfast is rich and the location is excellent. It is right by the sea, and there is convenient transportation in the mall near the sea view. The mobile phone has been changed, and the next photo is added.
The Hostalin placed in the middle of the main streets of Barcelona named Passeg De Garcia. It is near all the famous fashion stores for those of you who look for Gucci, Tommy Hilfiger, Luis Vouton etc. Near by lots of restaurants - I recommend Bella Italia & Ciudad Conda. And in five minutes more or less you can reach the metro. It also placed exactly in the middle of Gaudi's well known buildings - Casa Balio & Casa Mila. The Hostalin has no breakfast or any other extra accessories so in case you are looking for a pool or launge that's not the place for you. Fit for those who wish to sleep and stay out of the room most of their vacation period. Price was decent compared to other hotels/hostels in the same area.
The location is good. It is very close to L3/L5 metro station, and an easy walk from Barcelona Snats. The breakfast was pretty good. Staff was efficient and friendly. I would definitely stay at Abba Sants Hotel again. Recommeded.
This hotel is still in a very good location. It only takes five minutes to walk to the Sagrada Familia, and the subway is next to the Sagrada Familia, and it is ten minutes to walk to the Holy Cross Saint Paul Hospital.
From here, no matter if you take the subway to Camp Nou, Casa Mila, Casa Batllo, Gracia Avenue is very convenient.
The room is also spacious.
The reason why I beat the four stars for hygiene was that the first night I noticed that there was a curved black hair under the pillow, which was a bit disgusting.
But in fact, they are cleaned every day. It is estimated that they are sticky? ? ?
Hygiene in the next few days is still OK.
Of course, even if you check in after 2pm, you can leave your luggage at the front desk if you arrive early.
Stayed here for one night before getting on a cruise. We've been to Barcelona several times before and chose this Hotel because of it's great location. It's at one of the main roads with all the action. Only a 10' ride from the port and only a 10' walk from our most favourite place in town: Quimet & Quimet. So for us it has the perfect location. There's a bakery / coffee shop just around the corner as well and several mini-marts. The room was very nice. Modern, really clean and also very quiet. TV, aircon/heater, free WiFi and all the usual stuff. Had a very good night here, very comfy bed. We really have to point out that it's a very very clean place and for this price a great value. Front desk were really nice and friendly folks. A quick and easy check-in and check-out. Organised a taxi for us as well, very convenient and on time. It's great for a night before cruising or also for a city-trip. Becaus of the central location you can walk to many sights easily or the the subway, which is near. A great place to stay.
The hotel is located in the Barcelona development area. About 25 minutes walk from the hotel, you can reach attractions such as Mira House and big-name shopping streets. The rooms are generally sanitary, small in size, and the facilities are relatively simple, but there is a kettle.
It is far from the city and all major attractions, but the price is moderate, the conditions are very good, there is a big supermarket to buy things very convenient downstairs, there is a Chinese-run grocery store. Although I only changed to a hotel in the city for one night, this hotel left a good impression on me.
The hotel is very close to the subway, there is a relatively large shopping mall in the east, and the facilities are relatively new and not bad. Because I had to catch a plane in the morning, I didn't have breakfast. I told the front desk and packed a simple breakfast and took it away. Service is still very good ~
The environment is the feel of an old European hotel. The toilet space is particularly large, the hygiene is good, the pillows are a bit dirty, and the overall is OK, but the door of the bathtub fell several times, almost smashing my feet. Irregularities, and the buttons are often sprayed with water, the sound insulation is very poor, the sound outside the door and the next room may be clear, it may be too long, but the sunlight scattered into the room is good, and the service attitude is very kind Very nice.
The location is very close to the subway station, the hotel reception is very warm, knowing that I was the first time I went to Barcelona and enthusiastically introduced the place worth visiting. There is no charging adapter, you can find the front desk to borrow.
The hotel has been shortly re-furnished! Boutique Hotel in de center of BCN, 5 min walking from Plaza Catalunya! Very calm ambience and super helpful staff. Rooms are spacious and very clean, they also include all necessary amenities. All in all, highly highly recommended!
Seeing that the hotel is much more beautiful than expected, the old building shape, the front desk is very warm, we arrived at 8 o'clock in the morning, check in in the afternoon, and helped us to store our luggage. The room was small but the bed was very comfortable and there was a nice little balcony that was very comfortable. Very good location, walking to the home of Barth and Mila, Passeig Avenue is half an hour away. There are many restaurants downstairs and the supermarket is very convenient.
The breakfast is very rich and has local specialties. I live in this hotel every time I come. I like it very much. The transportation is also very convenient. It is close to the Gaudí building and there are many network popular Spanish tapas bars around.
Nice hotel,10 minute walk to Las Ramblas, great for us as didn't want to be in centre Quite central, theatres on doorstep, plenty of food options around, the hotel room was basic and clean, hairdryer, kettle and shampoo, shower gel etc, staff very friendly and helpful, we were at back of hotel which was great as on a very busy main road, people at front of hotel struggled to sleep,I would return to hotel again,we had B and B food was ample, cooked breakfast, toast, croissants, fruit cooked meats, nice variety of drinks and very clean, enjoyed our stay
The hotel is next to Plaza de Espana. From Barcelona T1 Airport, follow the signs to find the A1 airport bus stop 1 to Plaza Espana, then walk for 5 minutes to reach the hotel! Downstairs is a celebrity restaurant, not bad! There are also shopping malls and supermarkets around! The subway L1 and L3 lines are also 5 minutes walk to the attractions, which is very convenient! The environment and service of the hotel is also very good, the rooms are cleaned every day! The hotel provides shampoo, shower gel, hair dryer, electric kettle, but no teeth and slippers! Therefore, it is recommended to bring your own toiletries when traveling!
We drove into Barcelona and found the hotel perfectly thanks to Gmaps, driving into the carpark was quite amusing as the entrance/lobby area is also where the cars go through when entering the underground carpark. Staff were very friendly and welcomed our arrival. After showing us where we could park we made adventurous drive down two levels as prepared by other reviews.... it is tight but manageable. Staff were full of great advice and information at check in. Giving reassurance that absolutely nothing was too much trouble! The room was well sized and very clean. A huge bath in the centre of the room and plenty of toiletries that were refreshed daily. Thanks again for a great stay.
Nice hotel, good location, with friendly staff, very clean and a nice view from the Jacuzzi on the roof. The only negative part was the noise from the hallway that you could hear from the room. Other than that, excellent service 😊 As a suggestion for the Hotel, it would be nice to have some maps of the places to visit in Barcelona.
