Last weekend I went to the Anner with my daughter plus 2 friends and their daughters. Overall we had a wonderful experience. There was a lovely Christmas vibe in the hotel, in particular in the lobby/reception area. We had dinner at the bistro and we had a great night. I must say though that the service could definitely do with improvements. Everyone was friendly but it was more a case of the younger staff ( boys in particular) didn't seem to have a lot of training. They were friendly and couldn't have been nicer but they would definitely benefit from some service training. The food was nice but the portions were huge so I felt bad that there was so much waste. The bedroom was just ok and definitely in need of a makeover. Our view was a wall and the bathroom shower curtain was dirty but otherwise it was more than comfortable and cosy. But overall an enjoyable experience.

We were travelling to Kerry and decided to do one night at the Horse and Jockey hotel on the way to break up the drive, it is a lovely clean hotel, the room we had was huge and very clean, we were very impressed as the nights stay was superb value.. The dinner in the restaurant was fantastic and the breakfast in the morning was good, although not a huge space to move around were the food buffet was, all in all a great stay....

We had an amazing stay. The staff went above and beyond to help us in anyway they could. The spa was really nice, Gloria was fantastic and I'll be recommending her to everyone I know. The bar/breakfast staff were also great especially Chloe who told care of me and my partner. The room was very clean and very comfortable, the food was great to.

I really enjoyed my stay in the lovely quaint hotel. This was my third time staying here. They have renovated the bed rooms since my last visit. The shower in particular was excellent. The staff in the hotel are superb. They are ALL really friendly and helpful and a credit to the venue. The food in the hotel is very good. We had a meal last night in the hotel and the steak was lovely. The service was excellent even though the place was very busy so close to Christmas. The Breakfast was really good this morning which was the icing on the cake of our visit. I really recommend the hotel and I look forward to staying in the hotel again in the future. It really is a gem.

This place was the most beautiful B&B in which I stayed during my time in Ireland. The views are breath taking. Frank was so warm and welcoming and a big thank you to Ed for allowing me to tour the stables and walk around the grounds. Everyone was so lovely! I would absolutely recommend it to anyone, and hope to return one day.
