0.06km from tirami suHotel Condor is a fantastic family run B&B in the heart of Taormina. You could not ask for a better location; less than a 5 minute walk from Corso Umberto l. And only 10 minutes to the bus terminal. If arriving via bus you can easily walk to the hotel, though bare in mind that it is slightly uphill and if you have a lot of luggage, or are not particularly fit, I’d definitely recommend that you take a taxi. The train station is quite a way out of Taormina, and you would need to take a bus or taxi from there to reach the hotel. The hotel itself is wonderfully charming. Because of the location, and the way properties there are built, a lot of the rooms are ‘downstairs.’ Mine was on floor -2 but it didn’t feel like I was in a cellar. My room was light and airy with lots of natural light, and its own compact balcony. I’ve visited various parts of Italy in the past, and my room at Hotel Condor was probably one of the most spacious I’ve stayed in. There was lots of room for storage, and plenty of space to move around. My bed was comfortable, and the room was very clean. Breakfast was vast with a really good selection. There’s something for everyone, and I thoroughly enjoyed indulging each morning! On my last morning, before a super early check out, the hotel owner kindly let me come in early for a cappuccino and some toast before departing, which was very much appreciated. Also I would highly recommend purchasing a drink from their bar of an evening and enjoying the view from the terrace - their Aperol Spritzes were spot on! I loved this hotel, and would recommend it to anyone planning on visiting Taormina. If ever I return, I would rebook here in a heartbeat.
0.18km from tirami suWe stayed here for a week and had a really lovely time. Room could be described as a little dated (Roberto said they are being refurbished in the winter), but they were spotlessly clean with aircon that worked and a balcony overlooking the pool and down to the sea - so all was lovely. The bathroom was HUGE and had been refurbed, so was lovely, with hot water any time of the day, so again, all good. Owner Roberto was keen to help with any taxis, excursions, advice etc. Swimming pool was fine - again, not huge, but never more than 2 or 3 people there, so it was lovely to use at the beginning and end of a day's sightseeing. We had an early bus to the airport, so we were given a takeaway breakfast inc. a flask of hot coffee, to have in our room - really thoughtful. 16mins walk from the bus station, 12mins walk from the busy town. Nice to be a little away from the chaos of the town, but still felt v close. Thank you Roberto and your family, we would definitely go back.

0.28km from tirami suFour of us stayed two nights at B&B Melany. Except for climbing stairs with our luggage (this wasn’t the first and won’t be the last time this happens in Europe), the accommodations, the location, our hosts, and our breakfast were great and positive experiences. You can open the room windows and fully experience the bustle of a small Sicilian resort town (or shut them and hear almost nothing). The location is close to many restaurants, a bakery, taxi stands, and the gates of Taormina. The town is beautiful and very interesting; B&B Melany puts you in the middle of fun. We highly recommend it.

0.32km from tirami suThe location is in the middle of the centre in Taormina. It’s a 1 minute walk to the first restaurant. The bus terminal to go to other towns is nearby (5 minute walk). The view from the balcony of the apartment is beautiful. The pool is clean and very nice, the hot tub/jacuzzi could have been warmer but it was lovely. A little tip: when only staying in Taormina, do not rent a car. It’s not an easy drive from the airport to Taormina because it is in the mountains. Also at the apartment you have to pay 18€ per night for parking. Expensive. The beds were not comfortable and made for small/little people. Only one staff member speaks English. Overall very good stay.
0.34km from tirami suthe good: Dorm room beds clean and comfortable. power outlet by all beds. bathrooms clean. croissant and coffee in the morning cheap (1E). Great slogan (i got a tshirt). amazing views. clean kitchen, with ample space and utensils to cook with, fridge space, locks provided for lockers, each bed had locker, free baggage storage, great location the bad: internet slow or non-existent. many places recommended by staff were not open (this could also be due to low-season)
0.34km from tirami suThe B&B is near the city centre, just walking distance. The room was big and super clean, the bed very comfortable and the staff were very kind and helpful. We stayed in a room on the ground floor, very quiet and with a garden view. They serve breakfast in the garden and it's one of the best ways to wake up and start the day. I definetely recommend it!!
0.35km from tirami suThe good thing first: the hotel is located very good in taomina BUT it is not worth at all to pay 100€ for one night broom closet with a too short metal bed. Invest more for Toamina city or go outside.
0.36km from tirami suStaff were lovely. So friendly, helpful and welcoming. Patricia, the breakfast lady, couldn't do enough for you. She made lovely cakes which we tried every morning with breakfast. Continental breakfast.....good selection to choose from and Patricia replenished the display when required. Breakfast is eaten by the lovely swimming pool. The pool is cleaned every day. There are many stairs leading down to dining room and pool.....not sure if there is a lift as we didn't need it. The hotel is situated in a quiet residential area about 10 mins walk from the town. Some good views on the way. The hotel room we had was big with good sized bathroom and balcony. The view from balcony was excellent. You can borrow a hairdryer from reception (the hairdryer in bathroom is one of the long hose things attached to wall which I find not convenient). We loved this hotel and would definitely recommend.....and even return to at some stage. Taormina is lovely with lots to see and do. Good bus service from the bus station. Fab!!!

0.36km from tirami suAlthough you can't enjoy a private beach in winter (the winter beach is closed), you can feel the Christmas atmosphere everywhere on the street. The location of the hotel is very good, just walk around the town to eat and walk. The balcony of the room faces the street view and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of TAORMINA every morning. The hotel staff is also very enthusiastic and will assist with various issues. The next visit will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Taormina City Center
First the good points Excellent location 3 mins from the main street,Corso Umberto. Also our room(223)had a fantastic view across to Mount Etna.Staff on the desk were polite,Guiseppe being more friendly. The cleaning ladies were extremely friendly, our own and the ones we passed in the corridors. Now the not so good. The staff in the dining room were the most miserable we have ever encountered anywhere in Italy, not one eye contact, not one buongiorno or ciao all week. They all seemed to walk about like zombies refilling trays etc but no smiles with anybody. There were no condiments on the tables ,so the first day I found the one and only salt cellar for the whole dining room, day 2 there were 2 and there always seemed to be a shortage of cutlery and having to get up and go and search for them as quite often all staff seemed to disappear back into the kitchen. It just all added up to a feeling of frustration and made breakfast a chore. Our room although it had a good view was very dated, mustard yellow walls and red curtains, although the bathroom had been renewed, but the shower screen had not been sealed properly causing a flood every time we showered. One morning we had use the towels to mop up it was that bad. The public rooms and corridors are also in need of updating and we had to report a stair handrail that came loose and a water leak dripping from a corridor ceiling. The pool does have a wonderful view you access it through the gardens but it is down many steps and a bit of a trek which was too much for us. This hotel could be so much better than it is.It has a prime position in Taormina and many rooms have wonderful views of Etna but as it is we would never return to this hotel. However we are planning a return to Taormina.
Before I came here, I saw comments that the money was stolen and the problem of non-sea-view rooms. I was very anxious. I was worried about whether to cancel the reservation and change to another hotel. After I checked in, I found the hotel was good! First of all, I did n’t have anything stolen, including jewelry and cosmetics placed on the outside. Secondly, this hotel is mountain side, so you ca n’t avoid seeing the mountains and the sea. No matter which room you stay in, there is no 360-degree sea view Room, balcony view can refer to the picture below, I think the view is very good; in the end, in fact, there is no saying that the Chinese are arranged in a room with a poor view, because my left side (closer to the mountain side is disadvantageous) Location) Two people live in Italy. I live in the United States with Americans on the right. I threw my pajamas on the sofa before going out, and when I came back, I saw that they were neatly stacked on the bed. Haha, I felt very intimate at once ~ If I come to Taormina next time, I will definitely choose this hotel ， Because it has an excellent location, you can walk down to the Love Island and up to the left to the main road of the town, and there are all delicious restaurants around the hotel. It ’s almost ～ ️⚠ ： Ctrip's prepayment City tax is not included, and an additional tax of 3.5 Euro / night will be charged when checking out
The Hotel is built on a peninsula and is ‘upside down’- you enter at ground level and the floors descend to sea level. Take the lift to the bottom and it opens onto an underground tunnel leading to a private beach in one direction and, in the other, a saltwater pool, bar and open-air restaurant, all with a panoramic view of the bay and..... excitement builds... Mount Etna! We were lucky enough to have a huge room with a separate dressing room, well-appointed bathroom and really spacious balcony directly facing the volcano across the water, so we were able to keep an eye on the activity levels. The breakfast room and hotel restaurant both had fabulous views and helpful staff, although we found the restaurant menu a bit limited, with only one non-fish dish and nothing for the vegetarian diner. This could have been Covid-related as the pandemic had obviously impacted in a number of other ways- sanitising stations, temperature checks and strict mask policy were all evident and most reassuring throughout the hotel. We were well looked-after by housekeeping, who showed a really personal touch in not just tidying the room every day, but making it comfortable and homely with nice little touches. Probably the only minus would be the lack if tea and coffee-making facilities in the room, although they managed to find us a kettle when we asked. It was definitely worth the extra 7 euros a day to be able to have an early morning cuppa in bed! Great hotel, great location, great views 👍
Stayed here for 7 nights and what a great time we had. Mario and staff (Laura, Veronica reception, Alessandro x2 Armando irish coffee!!! Guiseppi and Costantino Chef) were so helpful and made us feel at ease. Food excellent clean rooms fresh towels everyday. Only 2 minutes walk to cable car. Ideal hotel for couples who want to explore Sicily. Highly recommend.
My family and I stayed at the Casa Adele in July 2020. As someone who has travelled the world and stayed at countless hotels, bed and breakfasts, resorts, etc., it was ONE OF THE MOST SPECIAL hospitality experiences I’ve had. We communicated about our stay with the owner, Guissepe. The hotel is located in the center of the small town of Taormina. If driving, it can be a daunting drive up the small, winding roads; however, the hotel offers parking at a daily rate in their garage, which is directly attached to the hotel. We were greeted at the door and given directions to park. The incredible hospitality experience began as soon as we pulled up to the door of the home. HOTEL: STUNNING. It is a small hotel, with only 9 rooms. It has a bed and breakfast vibe, but with hotel level accommodations. The rooms are spacious and PRISTINELY clean. The floors are a beautiful marble, the decor neutral and aesthetically exceptional. The attention to detail throughout is breathtaking. The original wooden archways, iron light fixtures, marble fireplace place, and antique furniture juxtaposed with the modern renovations create a perfect harmony between old Casa Adele and new Casa Adele. Breakfast is included and is served in a beautiful dining room and features produce and eggs picked daily from their garden and hens, as well as pastries homemade by family and friends. Breakfast is cooked by a staff member, Gina, who cooked the best omelette I’ve had in my life. The hotel also features a terrace with outdoor furniture and views of the Ionian Sea and the city of Taormina. HISTORY: Guissepe told us the beautiful history of the hotel our first morning at breakfast. The hotel first opened in 1949. His grandmother, Adele, opened it after her husband and his grandfather was diagnosed with a terminal illness and given three years to live. Wanting to ensure that she would be able to care for her two sons after her husband’s passing, she converted her own home into a restaurant and small hotel. She served home cooked meals with ingredients she bought daily, fresh. She hired an all female staff, with the exception of a male security guard, in the hopes of giving women a chance to work at a time when this was uncommon, particularly in Italy, and especially in Taormina. He told the story of a young woman whose husband physically abused her and then left her with a baby. Adele hired this woman, despite the woman’s hesitation that she would not be able to care for her baby while working. Adele assured her that the staff would take turns taking care of the baby and that she could bring the baby to work every day. This woman, Giuseppe recounted, went on to live a joyful life until 102, always grateful for the opportunity provided to her by Adele. The hotel closed in the 1970s, after Adele passed away. Her sons went on to careers outside the hospitality business. Two years ago, Adele’s grandson, Guissepe, made the decision to reopen Hotel Casa Adele, hoping to revive
Taormina City Center
Loved our stay at Relais 147! On the main road, behind the door you'll find a private oasis. Everything is well decorated - from the outdoor space to the shared space on the main floor, to our room. Though it appeared small (Master Suite Jonio) - you have a walk in closet to store your luggage, and a large outdoor private balcony which significantly adds room, and is a great place to relax after traipsing around town! Rosj and her husband are lovely - very friendly and helpful. For those who love smaller places to stay vs large, impersonal hotels - do not hesitate to stay here, you won't regret it!
