Positives: Front desk staff are friendly. The rooms are very spacious, modern and bright. Amenities galore: full kitchenette, tons of storage space, luggage rack, toiletries and a large flat screen television. Ample parking, never had an issue parking right up front. Peet's Coffee right next to the hotel, as well as a Noah's Bagels. Location is excellent. Nice, clean, safe area. The immediate area also has every store and eatery you could possibly need within a five minute driving radius. Negatives: The major flaw are the paper thin walls. You can certainly hear neighbors and people in the hallways. The hotel is only a year or two old, so it seems odd that such a new structure would be built with transparent walls. The AC doesn't stay on, it constantly turns on and off. The cleaning staff are not very friendly or accommodating.

This truly was a scary place. We thought if the room was clean we'd be fine for 1 night. BUT you might think I'm exaggerating but I'm to. The door locked but it was a flip lock. You could see the outside of the room through the space in the door. The bathroom door had been sort of patched but the hole was the size of a dinner plate. It had also been broken from the other side of the door. I went to the office to ask for towels and washcloths and the girl working there was very pleasant. She ask how the room was, and I said we were disappointed but could make do, it was late when we checked in. Another man was in the office and he he ask me if I was expecting a 5 star Marriott, Needless to say I didn't answer him. The walls and door were painted white but were sticky black all over them. The TV got 2 channels. The bathtub was sunken, explain that! Then the next morning we went for the breakfast. OMG the homeless people were coming in a side door loading cereal, english muffins and juice by the arm load. One of them also took a gallon of milk out of the refrigerator. The picture of the room on TripAdvisor really should come down.

We made a reservation here because of the price and location, in spite of the recent bad reviews. Our room was fine, the grab/go breakfast was lacking attention, and the staff was busy but friendly. That said, if you make a reservation here, check in early because they frequently overbook. I don't know if it's a local policy, ESA policy, the booking service or because it was busy time because of fires, but they said they get overbooked. Check in as soon as you can and call the hotel front desk directly if you have concerns. In the morning, one person is in charge of the breakfast bar and front desk, so the bar usually ran out of coffee, cups, muffins, and oatmeal. They need another person to work the breakfast hours. There's a Trader Joe's not far away, FYI. Our room had a hard floor so we didn't worry about dirty carpets, but they could have done a better job sweeping. The bedspread was light weight and washable. The bath had a wall to wall counter, giving us plenty of space. Shower was a light rain-shower type. TV was OK with just a few channels. Internet worked OK. It's a no smoking place but I could smell smoke in the hallway. We probably would stay here again because of location and price, but are aware of the caveats.

Stayed here this past Saturday night to attend an event nearby on Sunday. It was just 3 of us traveling, but I reserved a room with 2 queen beds and a pull-out sofa. The room was very spacious. The front area has the sofa, desk, table mini refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The bed area has a tv which you could turn towards the sofa and 2 doorless closets. One closet was fairly large and there was a lot of empty space between the beds and the window. If it is allowed, your party can easily fit 2 rollaway beds in the room. I liked how the sink was outside the toilet/shower room. The hotel property and room were very clean. I always appreciate the ice water offered in the lobby. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was free and plenty. WiFi was free and needed no password. The hotel is close to stores and restaurants. The cons would be: 1) The included breakfast. My husband and son ate the breakfast and rated it as average. 2) Our key cards which had to be reprogrammed. 3) Only one of two elevators was working. These were minor issues, and we would definitely stay here again.

We (myself, my husband and 13 year old) stayed for 2 nights in a one bedroom suite in February 2020 Very pleasantly surprised. It was more spacious than I imagined, king bed in bedroom and a very comfortable queen sofa bed in lounge room. There was a TV in both rooms and a kitchenette with everything you need and a small dining area. The suite was incredibly clean, great heating and the water pressure in the shower was fantastic (and very hot) Also they provided a free continental breakfast that was much more than most continental breakfasts. The staff were all very friendly and efficient and went out of their way to help and for you to enjoy your stay. This included everyone from the lady on reception to the cleaning and room service staff. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Great value 5/5

So for the price I didn't really care for this place. Right when I arrived at the counter with my mom the lady was rude and didn't make us feel welcome. I asked what the deposit was she told me and when I wentvto grab a few snack from the snack area she made a comment that was insinuating that I couldn't afford them...yes they were way over priced and expensive but that's not the piont. She profiled me.

Our stay was for one night. We were warmly greeted by Tabitha at the front desk and check-in went smoothly. She was kind enough to connect my family’s separate bookings and get us connecting rooms. The rooms were well appointed and offer a coffeemaker. I didn’t notice a safe box however. Shower water pressure was on point and shampoo and conditioner offered below the shower head. A nice touch to save on mini-plastic bottles. Complimentary breakfast in the main lobby opposite the front desk, offers both warm and cold options. The mini-cheese omelettes and pork sausage patties were yummy. They also had scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, and turkey sausage patties. Fresh cut fruit included watermelon, honey dew, and cantaloupe, in addition to apples, oranges and bananas. There was an assortment of bread including English muffins and bagels with cream cheese. Other items included juice, milk, yogurt, oatmeal, and a waffle maker with maple syrup. Complimentary parking is available. You’ll receive a parking slip to display on your dashboard. A swimming pool and free wifi are also on the premises. Overall a quick, but very pleasant stay. The staff were super friendly, from the front desk to the housekeepers, and the breakfast attendant.

I prefer Marriotts whenever their pricing is competitive. This place was one of two offering a special rate for a wedding i was attending .that is the reason I chose it. My room was on third floor as requested but there was no clock radio in the roo, the phone wire was not connected , the device to drain sink was not connected. All were remedied promptly when i notified the front desk...but the room should have had all that in order before i checked in. there was also a broken window pane. never experience any of that in any Marriott i have stayed at. I won't hold it against the chain Minor inconveniences ..but inconveniences.Other than that a really nice place. outdoor sitting area, near I 80, near restaurant. water coffee cookies available (sometimes not)

The biggest advantage of the hotel is that it is close to Lake Tahoe and built next to the lake. The lake is a beach and the lake is super clean. Others have no advantages. The room is small, reference to the size of the country for 7 days; no bathtub; there is a fireplace; when I came, it was not the peak season, the guests were few, the room was thick and gray when I checked in, and there was still gray on the furniture for the next few days; there was no breakfast. If you have to say one more advantage, the coffee provided in the room is a Starbucks bag, but it is not good.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the decoration is quite new, but there is no peculiar smell; although it is not very big, it can be opened completely. When we went there, it was cooling down, but the air conditioner was very warm, so it felt very warm, but the noise was still a bit loud, so I turned it off before going to bed and added a layer of quilt. The bathroom is also very clean, the space is also large, the hot water is very hot, and the bath is very relieved! Parking is also free. The hotel is in the South Lake Tahoe area, you can walk to the lake across the street, and you can see the starry sky at night. In short, it exceeded expectations!

We stayed here on Valentine’s Day weekend. The location is excellent! Walking distance to shops, casinos, restaurants and ski gondola ride to Heavenly. Pros: •Bed is comfortable, comfy sheets and pillow soft •Excellent location •Free hot breakfast (biscuit & gravy, toast, fruit, juice, oatmeal and etc) we didn’t try it...chose to sleep in. •Free parking •Amenities in the room: small bottles of Shampoo, Conditioner, & Lotion, soap bar, hair dryer, iron, iron board, safe, mini refrigerator (no freezer), tv •Dogs allowed •Restaurant on site...X Crows (BBQ this is also the place you get your breakfast) Cons: •Loud!! Bring ear plugs to sleep. You can hear doors closing (more like slamming), dogs barking, people talking outside. Does not have double pain windows •RESTLESS SLEEP!! •Water pressure horrible. Takes a long time for the water to heat. •No pool •No gym •No DVD • Only one outlet by the bed. The nightstand closest to the bathroom did not have an outlet. Had to charge my phone on the desk. •Limited parking even though it is free •No fireplace This place received a cosmetic upgrade but not a construction renovation. There’s a few items that needs to be addressed and can make this place a 5 star. For us if we are waken up every hour of the hour with loud noise, it’s not a hotel we would like to experience again.

My family of 5 (3 kids 11,13,15) stayed here for Spring Break to snowboard at Heavenly. I’ve read the reviews that it is a little dated, and I was a little worried. But this place was awesome! 1) Less than 5 minute walk to the Gondola and Heavenly Village shops and restaurants. I’d say 3, even with kids laden with gear. 2) Free breakfast had tons of yummy choices. Bacon, sausage patties, scrambled and hard boiled eggs, bread (cinnamon raisin toast was a family favorite), bagels, danishes, premade waffles (and syrup of course),fresh fruit, cereals, yogurt, cottage cheese, juices, Starbucks coffee and one “special” - we saw quiche, Belgian waffles with fancy toppings, omelettes and biscuits and gravy. We were warned that things might run out if we got there too late (hours between 6:30 and 8:30). Latest we ate was 7:30, with a big crowd, and everything was plentiful. As a family who has wasted SOOOOO much on hot breakfasts for the kids before we get up on the mountain I cannot rave enough about this great feature! 3) The website and TripAdvisor reviews don’t mention onsite laundry rooms, but they have 3 separate ones in 3 different buildings. Wash was $2. Dry was $1. Hallelujah! 4) Units were spacious - we had a 2 bedroom. Sure, the units and decor are not brand spanking new, but everything is comfortable and functional. Floors are creaky, but REALLY, come on. Kitchen has oven, microwave, full-sized fridge, plenty of dishes and utensils. Grocery store is a 5 minute walk. A little lean on cookware. We had a big pot, small pot, and very small frying pan, but I have no doubt they would have helped us out if we asked for anything else. Also, the beds were REALLY comfortable - and I am very picky. 5) Wine and cheese reception every night from 4-5 was fun FREE! and always well attended. 6) The kids enjoyed foosball and “basketball” in the game room off the lobby. They also have board games and Xbox games. 7) Pool is closed during the winter, but the family enjoyed the hot tub, which was clean and big enough for at least 6. All in all, I would highly recommend this place to anyone - especially families. We’ve stayed at higher end condos at other ski areas, and I would prefer this experience to anything else we’ve encountered. And the price is terrific. Hope to return next year, as long at there is snow at Heavenly!!!!

This hotel is the most cost-effective one since coming to the United States so many times! For skiing friends, this hotel is the best choice. The location is right next to the Heavenly Ski Resort, about 2 minutes' walk. The hotel has a parking service, free of charge, and of course free tip. The price of more than 200 RMB per night is super value, and there is no one and only one! The room is large, at least it can accommodate 4 people, the room is a big bed, the living room is a sofa bed, there is a spa bath between the room and the living room that can accommodate three or four people, the room is clean, the microwave and refrigerator are complete, the lobby front desk also helps me Print documents for free, friendly staff, and take the initiative to introduce how to rent skis. Can I give 10 stars!
