We booked to stay here after emailing the owners who were so kind and helpful. We did not get to make the trip due to the pandemic, so we are very upset. I contacted the owners again with another enquiry and I cannot praise them enough. Absolute angels and we will be booking with them when we finally do make our trip

Let’s talk about the location first. It’s a bit far from the central area of Shinjuku. It’s about 1,000 yen to get to Shinjuku Isetan by taxi. Go to Tsukiji Market for 4600 yen. I took the subway once and walked to the subway station for more than 10 minutes. I don't remember the specific station name. Check-in is on the 41st floor. If the weather is good, you can see Mount Fuji. There is nothing to say about the facilities. The bath products are all brand names. The room was cleaned in time. Small snacks or fruits will be delivered the next day, and breakfast is not set so there is no right to speak. However, the restaurant does not have a Chinese menu, and there is no Chinese service. Although some people said that there is Chinese service, I did not catch up. Maybe there are fewer people, so I am a bit embarrassed for an English blind Japanese illiterate... so I am not at all. Hotel eats. There are convenience stores and restaurants on the basement floor of the office building next to the hotel, which is very convenient. When we travel, we can borrow umbrellas at the door instead of deposits. Overall it is very good, if you can increase the number of Chinese service staff, you should choose here next time. After all, the bars and restaurants on the 41st floor haven't tried it yet, let's have a chance next time. By the way, in the park opposite the hotel, you can exercise in the morning.

I was here for 2 stays on this trip, 4 nights + 2 nights, in a single room. It’s a basic business hotel, 850 M from Shinjuku station and the Shinjuku Highway Bus terminal. The room was small but I soon got used to it – it was so precisely functional. The breakfast buffet was range was simple – bakery, rice cakes with a savoury filling, shredded lettuce, meat/pork balls, juice, coffee etc – but it was enough, I was satisfied eating there every day. If you want a change, have a look at the ticket places in the alleys on the western side of Shinjuku station. Wi-Fi was good, no issues.

I’m well travelled in Japan and has stayed in different hotels but never experienced such a comfortability with spacious rooms before. Mimaru Shinjuku has got the most spacious apartments with all the furnitures and amenities. If you want to enjoy a quite time with your partner or family in bustling Shinjuku this is the right place. I enjoyed the night view of lively Shinjuku being in the 11th floor and it was an amazing experience. The kitchen was well equipped where you can prepare a decent meal, bathroom was totally comfy with luxurious bath wear and if you’re taller in height you will never struggle taking a shower like most other hotels in Japan :) Diverse front staff were welcoming and friendly. Check in and check out was smoothly done and they will give you directions either in Japanese or English without making you confusing :) If you need to enjoy your stay in a cozy apartment at a affordable price, this is the best hotel.

This hotel cuts corners in all the right places for a traveler like me, allowing me to afford a stay in a really great location. It’s not full service, but it’s clean, comfortable, and like many say, it’s very nicely designed. The room I stayed in would be a bit impractical for a long stay (no space for clothes, very small) but I would definitely stay here again for a few days.

Great location. Nice places to eat all around. And a market with Sega machines and video games. Lots of convenience stores and cafes. 7 Eleven, Lawson, etc. We are vegetarian and found an authentic Indian restaurant on way to station from hotel. Hotel has shops and restaurants on Ground Floor (called 1F) ie. Family Mart - great for instant food packs etc VERY difficult to locate Reception/ Check-in Counter. Come to the THIRD Floor (3F) and you'll find it! Very secure. Use your hotel key in the lift to go up to your floor. Very small rooms at the hotel - Take one with TWO SINGLE BEDS - then bed size is very decent for 100 kilo women!! Rooms have TV, lots of ports to charge phones etc. Fridge. Electric kettle. Bathrobes. Slippers n shoe horn - See pictures... VERY LITTLE space for bags. Loos are amazing. Electronic pots etc. BEWARE - getting tub is very high - So buy a small ¥400 foldable footstool to step in and out - buy from shop called Daisu in underground passage to station. CARRY your own TEA (Chai) if you are used to it. Only green tea and coffee in room. No milk provided in the room either. So if you took the room with free breakfast, that's good - You can pick up milk and sugar sachets there. See instructions for coffee carefully. Its not simply a sachet. Water has to pass THROUGH it. Response to room service usually VERY prompt 5 restaurant choices for free breakfast (if you took that choice) of which 2 are American and can serve you vegetarian choices. See pictures attached for the Manhattan restaurant view! Very hearty breakfasts! 2 bottles of mineral water provided daily. All linen is changed daily, EXCEPT for bedding. Most staff understand English - else use Google Translate. If you choose to reach this hotel from the airport via Shinkansen, reach Shinjuku JR station, ask where the cab stand is, expect to pay approx ¥650. If you choose to walk with luggage, then take a 4-wheel medium sized suitcase each at the most. 2 choices - walk straight out of South Exit and cross road just once 10 minutes later. OR use the underground path for easier movement of luggage, and walk about 15-20 minutes (if with luggage) towards Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building - plus may have to climb one small flight of stairs in final stretch.

This was my third stay in this apartment, and I stress again that it is a great apartment that is spacious by Tokyo’s standards and well located. I stayed alone but it would easily fit up to 3 or 4 adults and maybe a family of 6 if they don’t mind being cozy. The apartment had everything I needed for my stay, amenities were provided and WiFi worked perfectly. There is a washing machine and ironing board which is great for longer trips. Location is great - just a 4-minute walk to Tokyo’s Hatagaya station with onward connections to pretty much anywhere from Shinjuku. Plenty of shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood where you can grab a quick bite. If you want to rent a Car there are many parking spots nearby. Make sure you speak with the host for advice on the most cost-effective options to park. The check in and check out very smooth and the host was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our stay. Highly recommend this property for anyone (especially a larger group) considering a centrally located property in Tokyo. Would love to stay here again!

About a 20 minute walk from Shinjuku station and just down the road from another subway stop (can’t recall which one), we had three rooms for two nights at a rate of around £110 per room per night. Nothing wrong with the hotel. Small rooms but that is standard for Tokyo as I understand it. It’s basically a business hotel (and I have previously stayed in the brand on business) and designed to be ‘long stay’. They pack a lot into a small space and room had a (clothes) washing machine (and you are given detergent upon check-in), microwave, kettle and fridge. Comfortable bed, working wifi, decent shower, etc. There was a coffee machine in the lobby which provided drinkable coffee. Breakfast was included in our rate and fairly basic but staff kept everything topped up and, if it was empty, were happy to top up things upon request. There were a few western options including scrambled egg and bread. I’m not sure why this hotel has had so many negative reviews. We found the staff friendly and had reasonable English, were happy with the location and the facilities in the area (there is a MacDonalds next door, a convenience store across the road and several local restaurants within a couple of minutes walk! When we researched it, it seemed reasonable value and we were happy.

If you loves omakase breakfast at Toyosu market, shopping at Venus Fort, Diver City, Aqua City, visiting the TeamLab Borderless and TeamLab Planets, and hot-spring at Ooedo Onsen, that's the perfect location. Even gives you quick access to Disney resort and Haneda Airport! Small rooms as usual but the one with twin double beds is excellent for parents with two young children. The only downside is no car-rental nearby.

this hotel is always my favourite. the location is very convenient for shopping, for food & for transport. However, it took me over 45minutes to check in hotel because they couldn't find my booking although I provided the's confirmation number but I had no hotel confirmation number. Owing to the super typhoon which I must stay in the hotel, the hotel staff provided quality services & very good food. Overall, I enjoyed the stay.

Check in was a breeze, efficient and high tech. Godzilla head is an interesting feature of the hotel (esp. for fans), and location is great, right in the middle of the happening area. room size is good, can even be bigger if the toilet is joined with the bathing area. can bring the 2 single beds together to form a large bed.

Their service is nothing short of excellent. They have staff who are fluent in English (and other languages as well, I suspect). Me and my friend came thinking that we would be staying in a Single Room with Extra Bed since that was what we booked as we attempted to be more economic. However, to our pleasant surprise, our room was upgraded to a much much bigger room for free. We are very thankful to the helpful staff for making our stay pleasant and extremely comfortable. The location is great as it in located somewhere in between Iidabashi and Suidobashi which is pretty much close to the geographical center of Tokyo. Head east you will be able to visit Akihabara and Asakusa quick. Head west, you will be able to hit Shinjuku, Harajuku, and Shibuya. The neighbourhood is fairly quiet and the Tokyo Dome is just a 10-15 minute stroll away. If I am coming back to visit Japan, this hotel will be a clear top choice for me. Haven't had the opportunity to have the breakfast at this hotel, but I will certainly try it out on my next stay here.

Good hotel. Location is great and convenient, pretty much inside Sunshine city mall. There’s also a 24/7 family mart as well. Didn’t encounter any elevator problems in regards to having to wait long queue times.
