0.24km from Ton HonDuring this difficult time (covid) I had the chance to spend 2 days in this really cool & cosy hotel. The staff here are exceptionally friendly and helpful, Big thanks to the whole French Theory team, espacially Aurélien, owner of the place. Both rooms I had the chance to sleep in were really great, original furniture, it really made me comfortable. Moreover, first time I have had Turntable and Video Projector in my own room. :) It fits really well with the ambiance of the hotel: Cosy breakfast/coffee place (Australian inspiration), lots of original decorations, you feel the french touch in every step you make in the hotel. (see pictures below) I would totally recommend spending your stay in French Theory, a wonderful experience

0.25km from Ton HonHandy little hotel, basic but very reasonable priced. The room was very small but clean. This is very much a base for people in the city to see the sights - you won't spend much time lounging in your room. The staff were very courteous and helpful, and the location means you're right off the Boul' Mich and five mins from the lively spots around Notre-Dame. If you're booking a romantic stay see if you can get one of the rooms at the front of the hotel - room 63 for example has great views and is bigger. We guessed that every floor's front room is similarly numbered - 23/33/43/53 - will all look out on the Sorbonne (but also might be a bit noisier). Many thanks to all the team at the Hotel - we had a great time in the city.

0.26km from Ton HonI had a great stay at Hotel Design Sorbonne. The room was small, but well appointed. Very comfortable. There was a problem with the seal at the bottom of the shower door, so at times water would flow through to the floor. It could be avoided by angling the shower head away from the door. We noted this to the hotel staff, and they were very appreciative of the feedback. Otherwise, the shower stream was strong and the water very warm, which was wonderful! Toiletries were very nice. The towels were a bit thin, but nice enough. This hotel is very close to everything. Great location, a short walk from the Luxembourg metro stop. Everyone on staff was super friendly and helpful! I liked that there was free WiFi, but Secure WiFi would be preferred. We mentioned this to the staff. Overall, I definitely would stay here again!
0.29km from Ton HonThe hotel was chosen for the last two nights in Paris. The big reason is transportation. It took a minute to get out of the subway. When I first came, I was a little disappointed. My wife was too young, and there were so many tramps on the street. There was no such thing as the Lafayette that I lived in before. But on the night of the stay, I felt full of enthusiasm and kindness. In the evening, I went to the hotel door and there was a glass security door. The security guard inside must open the door to enter, and suddenly feel very safe. Then the front desk service was also very enthusiastic, and the young lady took the initiative. Breakfast is also good, and it is a glass room facing the street, quite a feeling. But the room was really small, and it was a bit difficult to put the two boxes. Going back one day, I just met the big sister who cleaned and gave her the prepared 2 euro tip. She was very happy. Well, the whole is good. The picture is the breakfast environment.

0.3km from Ton HonJ have stayed in Paris six times, but j would always return because j love this city and in this hotel j felt at home. In this hotel j loved the cleaneless and the disponibilità of the staff, the room perhaps too small, but very clean and silent
0.32km from Ton HonWe stayed five nights at this hotel and if I could give it more than 5 stars, I would. The hotel is elegant and understated, which I loved. Our room was beautifully appointed with a fabulous view of the Pantheon. The staff was attentive and helpful; in particular, Camille went out of her way to help us locate a patisserie I was looking for, and to try and get us a reservation at a restaurant I couldn't reach. She was amazing. I also loved the fact that we could have coffee delivered to the room each morning without there being a 'room service' charge. Very smart of them. In all ways, they made us feel welcomed, including a gift of a half bottle of wine as we were celebrating a birthday. And let's not forget the location! The Latin Quarter is filled with wonderful restaurants and a great place to stroll, and we were an easy walk to so many of the sights we wanted to see. Stop reading and go ahead and book a room - you won't be disappointed!
0.33km from Ton HonWe chose this hotel as had previously stayed at the sister hotel a number of years ago and loved the area and ambience. On arrival we were offered an upgrade to a suite. The suite had paint peeling off the wall, beside the lift and an internal view. On swapping rooms, we had an adjoining room where we could hear everything the couple in the next room were doing not to mention it smelled of damp and the shower door was hanging off and the heat/air conditioner squeaked the whole night. Having been out all day, when we arrived back at the hotel looking for a night cap, there was no white/rose wine only red and were directed across the street to the local shop. We raised these issues with the day reception staff the following morning and were informed the chief would discuss with us the following day, this did not happen! We were also assured that there was plenty wine available and therefore the following evening we attempted to acquire some wine, this time there was only one white wine available (though no price could be given) and they also seemed to have run out if ice “come back in 3 hours and we will have more”. The hotel information states these facilities are available 24/24. The reception staff were aware of the issues with the heat/ air con in 306 - but sadly not a solution to fix it. None of the issues we raised were resolved ... so in short if you are looking to stay in this area - I recommend you look for a different hotel.
0.34km from Ton HonIt can be said that 10,000 baht is set for five nights. It is imaginable to live in the first night without a window. ? Later, at my strong request, I finally changed. The room couldn’t turn around, and there was a big box that couldn’t be eaten. The Paris room is generally small, but the price is too expensive. This environment is not acceptable for more than 1,201 nights. If it is high, it will lose the price. Let's take a look.
0.36km from Ton HonThe location is very good, just on the street of Saint Michel, just walk to the Seine, and there is nothing missing from the convenience store. We went to the Louvre, Notre Dame, and the Pantheon. Facilities are new and complete, design is good, slippers, capsule coffee machine and macarons are good
There is no big flaw in hygiene, that is, the pillow was a little dusty on the first day of stay. Fortunately, we brought a pillowcase and used it.
But the service I want to say is not very comfortable. Although the front desk is also greeted with a smile, there is still a difference in the kind of smile from the heart of a four-star front desk that follows. There was no help other than general guidance. The questions were also indifferent. The English question and answer were not asked. There was no effective help. The next day because of the operation of the house change, we said that we did n’t send any luggage. We dragged it up by ourselves. When we first arrived in Paris, we thought that the Parisians were so unenthusiastic and lacked service. Only when we arrived at the second hotel did we find that it was not. In addition, I don't know if we are more attentive. We were cold and indifferent to the front desk, and we were talking and laughing at a few white-speaking French customers. We could not see the indifferent face just now.
Overall it is recommended to stay, location is too good, rooms are good, suitable for travelers
0.4km from Ton HonI love Paris and the Hotel Saint Paul Rive Gauche is my favorite hotel there. Since 1990, I have been to Paris 13 times and have stayed at this delightful hotel 5 times since discovering it in 2011. I fondly think of the hotel as my Paris home. The hotel, its location, amenities, and staff are nothing less than superb. The location is excellent - close to many attractions and fine restaurants. Located in the heart of the city in the 6th arrondissement on the Left Bank, near the Latin Quarter, Luxembourg Gardens, and Saint-Germain-des-Prés, the hotel is on a quiet, narrow one-way street. It is easy to reach from Charles de Gaulle Airport by taking the RER B train. There is no need to change train lines. Simply exit at the Luxembourg station and the hotel is an easy 5-minute walk away. The 31-room boutique hotel is very charming, lovely, and well maintained. And everyone who works at the hotel is courteous, professional, helpful, and friendly. I have stayed in rooms at both the front and back of the hotel. The rooms at the front face the pleasant rue Monsieur le Prince. I am a light sleeper and slept well in a front room, given the street’s light traffic and double-pane windows. The rooms at the back face the prestigious Lycée Saint-Louis. After a full day of playing tourist, I often have been entertained watching the students playing football (soccer in the U.S.). Every room I have stayed in was very attractive and pleasant. All rooms were completely renovated recently. The beds are very comfortable and I have always slept well each evening. Bathrooms are all updated. In the past I have always enjoyed a wonderful breakfast each morning in the breakfast room with a great selection of food and beverages. Because of Covid-19, I don’t know what the options may be now. I had scheduled another visit for this past April but sadly was not able to go because of the travel restrictions. I cannot wait to go back. If you are lucky enough to be able to travel to Paris, you would be hard pressed to find a better place to stay than the Hotel Saint Paul Rive Gauche. Book now...and enjoy your visit. P.S. My last visit was in April 2019, not Oct. 2019 as shown in the description.
0.41km from Ton HonI adored this place despite its many, many flaws. It’s like an ageing movie goddess, fading and fraying but still a joy. PROS - Good location - Safe neighborhood - Close to RER train station - Clean bedding - Good air conditioner - Good value - Front counter staff mostly helpful and friendly (A good touch of Manuel in one or two though) - Lift CONS - Very small but adequate rooms - Tiny shower. I’d stand outside, put my legs in one at a time to wash them, then squeeze myself in.... NB I am a bigger guy. - No bar fridge. Staff will keep your stuff in the fridges in ground floor. - No ice. - Train tunnel runs under the building can be heard and felt on lower floors. Didn’t bother us but might some. - NO ICE, sorry got carried away but it amazed me that there was no ice. - Shabby carpet - Dark corridors, you have to turn on the lights. - Could do with a clean in the corners, odd spots, etc. - Towel rack set up is awkward, a rack over the toilet Our issue: We had a broken extractor fan in the bathroom. Made it uncomfortable in the room. Reported it to front counter, checked later.... no record of the report.. reported it again, advised problem would be fixed next day....checked next morning.... advised that they had our report of a broken air conditioner.... explained that it wasn’t the air conditioner it was a broken extractor fan in the bathroom....advised it would take a number of days to fix that.... blah... they offered us the disabled room, which was a good room, but it was on the ground (closer to train line below) and it had no street view.
Hotels Near Ton Hon In Paris Review
The hotel location is very good, very close to the Arc de Triomphe, a five minute walk to the subway station can also take a direct bus to and from Charles de Gaulle and Orly Airport. Facilities breakfast also fully reached the four-star standard, the gym is relatively small. The front desk is more enthusiastic. There is a little brother who can speak Chinese, which makes communication more convenient.
Stayed at the B&B hotel for three nights while visiting Disney. Anyone looking for a cheap place to stay this is perfect. Hotel is spotlessly clean, really friendly staff, good sized rooms with comfortable beds and shower room. The hotel serves a simple dinner of pasta or pizza which is great, easy to order and quick to come. Breakfast is simple but just want you need at the start of the day. Tables were cleared quickly and everything very clean and presented well. We were worried about the shuttle overcrowding but there are a few services which only run from the B&B hotel and others which go to the other four hotels on the complex which makes it easy. We always got on a bus even if it was busy and never had to wait long! Lockers are available to store luggage if your arrive before your room is ready or check out early. We will be back on our next disney trip!
We recently stayed 3 nights at Le General Hotel (Mar 9-12, 2020). We were warmly greeted by Gaëlle as soon as the doors opened and we’re very impressed by the hospitality through the check in process (take a seat, would you like tea or coffee, enjoy some baked goods). It was the most pleasant experience after a very long day of travel & so nice compared to the typical wait in line at a cold desk waiting for your room key! Gaëlle who welcomed us, also took some time to answer some questions my husband and I had, including giving us some maps (of the local area, and of the Paris city centre/transit map) and offered some suggestions on where to eat and what to visit. She spoke English well, made us laugh & was a great first impression for the hotel (she also didn’t make us feel like were were putting her out)! Our room was very clean, comfortable and well styled for such a small room (which seems common in Paris) - we even had a balcony which was a very nice surprise! I’m not easily pleased at hotels - typically because of the bathrooms, but everything was clean, and no visible Mold in the shower/tub combo and in the corners of the bathroom floors. Great shower pressure & hot hot water, and the (Skinjay) essential oil shower pods were a very nice touch. We slept great - nice comfortable bed & pillows. We had 1 large suitcase, and 2 small wheeled carry on suitcases. The space was tight (we managed to get our large suitcase opened on the floor between the door, bathroom and bed when we needed to access it) but it was enough space for 2 people. Complements to your cleaning staff, the level of clean remained consistent on each day we stayed (fresh bedding/towels), the coffee station (Nespresso!) & complementary bottled water was restocked every day. We were thankful for the small safe in the room (something that wasn’t offered in other hotels I considered). As first time visitors in Paris, we were unsure of the location, but having the Metro station so close (Republique) we were able to take the train in time to see the sunset at the Eiffel Tower on our 1st night, during our sightseeing & took it back to Charles De Gaulle Airport (CDG) instead of a taxi to save ourselves (30€) on our way home. We were impressed how easy and clear the metro was to use (we never got lost or confused) and bought t+ tickets (carnet de 10 - 16,90€) for travelling around Paris sightseeing. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel, as there were many places we wanted to eat at on our short trip, so we cannot comment on that aspect of our stay. We used the free wifi in the evenings and didn’t have any issues with it, fast & no interruptions in service. On our last day Rachelle, upon checked out, offered to keep our luggage so we could enjoy our last hour in the city before heading to the airport. We had asked about where we could go to buy macarons as we had forgot & ran out of time. Rachelle & Morgane saved the day and offered us a complementary box - talk
For the first time in a hotel model, the century-old building is said to be a historical cultural relics protection unit in Paris, so it is completely banned. My old cigarette can only smoke in a small yard. Miss Luo is very enthusiastic, let us have the feeling of going home. There is a black guy in night shift who speaks Chinese very well. He said that he read a book in Guangzhou. In the morning, the girl named Marty also speaks Chinese. There is no problem at all, and at the same time give us a lot of advice on the tour, much stronger than those that are not reliable. It is very convenient to exit the subway 50 meters away. This area is a safe place for French people to live in. The room is big enough to be the floor-to-ceiling glass window in Europe. Our bedroom is very close to the yard, so the living room is a bit noisy. It is highly recommended to add a Chinese breakfast. It is really not suitable for those cheese breads, and it is better to have Chinese TV. If you have the opportunity to come back to Paris, you will still come to the Paris Residence.
Good location, nearby Carrefour, franprix and other supermarkets! I live on the 2nd floor facing the street, and it is very quiet at night, but the sound insulation between the room and the room is really average. The room is not large and has a balcony (not every room, so it is best to leave a message to tell the room with a balcony when booking) ), There is also a door in the bathroom sharing a balcony with the room, so the balcony is quite large. The hotel only provides shampoo, shower gel and hair dryer. Slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, so it is recommended to bring your own toiletries. Lines 7 and 10 are only 5 minutes' walk from the surrounding area. Line 4 is about 15 minutes away. The 5th district is a Latin area, surrounded by universities, so it is safe! The hotel has access control locks, staff need to help open the door to enter! Breakfast is an ordinary western-style breakfast, bread, milk, eggs, oatmeal, sausage and cheese. A tax of 1.88 euros per person per night, which must be paid to the front desk when checking out. This Ctrip will also call you when you are in China to inform you that this tax must be paid to the hotel separately! The hotel provides free wlan, but the Internet speed is average, the room has air conditioning and heating. In short, the price is high!
We got a beautiful Junior Suite with Balcony, even in the city and on a street with traffic located, it was very quiet and you couldnt hear anything from outside while the doors are closed. It is very spacious and with a very pretty bathroom with luxury amenities from Hermés! And of course full equipped mini bar with Nespresso coffee machine. The breakfast is delicious and a mix from a la carte and buffet, what I love. So you can have everything what your heart desire. The best is the amazing Akasha Spa!! It is so big and has everything, big indoor pool, big sauna, big steam bath, big jacuzzi and a cold bath. Even if they are many relax beds to lay on, sometimes you are just alone and its like you have a private spa. Friendly and helpful staff all around the hotel! I definitely will return!
