|3.5km from city centerSpent one night at GT Résidence. This hotel is a real deal for the price. The main building is quite new. The standard room was big, clean and even with a little balcony, a large window which makes the room bright and a nice sofa. Nice swimming pool and pool bar restaurant. Although it’s close to the city center, the residence doesn’t seem to be at a walkable distance of shops or restaurants. But everything can be find at the hotel. Really recommend this place.

|1.29km from city centerThe resort has a beautiful and maintained garden facility. There are various ways to live. I had the Deluxe room, which n.m.M. is nothing special, but you realize it is higher quality than usual (except for the bathroom). The swimming pool shown on photos belongs to the neighbouring Ray Hotel, but could be used by me without any extra charge. Breakfast, which was part of the offer or booking*, is limited to a coffee, water, rice soup, toast and two kinds of marmelade and would cost THB 50,-- per person on site. Butter/magarine I couldn't discover. The breakfast buffet in the Ray Hotel looks more attractive.
* The confirmed online reservation of Trip.com was not arrived in the resort, but the staff member responded very well and gave me the booked room. Later I had been calling a Trip.com employee because the cost was cleared because I booked by credit card in advance. I was and still am surprised that a online booking system confirms a booking, but the hotel doesn't get anything from it. I had the luck that I got the sweet room, because the resort is apparently well booked despite C measures.

We were not disappointed with our choice of Hotel, from the moment we arrived for Check In. An earlier Check In was allowed - easy with no cash deposit required. Rooms are large, clean, modern and everything was in 'as new' working condition. Every staff encounter was pleasurable, with smiles all around. Buffet Breakfast was a sumptous feast.. Many choices, enough for everyone and the hot Thai foods very tasty. We would go out of our way to stay here again and certainly look to book and stay at a Fortune Hotel brand again..... AAA+++++

Staff is really friendly especaily the Night Security Officer.He is very helpful and polite.I always stay on4th Floor big room with private balcony and bed is so king size, but there no phone set up in room.The elevator not available for this hotel.However overall it looks great.I will always stay here.

In the middle for all destinations - football stadium, race track, bus station. Food street in the evening few steps from the hotel. 7-11 next building. Best location to explore Phanom Rung Historical Park and Phimai Historical Park. Fantastic breakfast with real Thai food and different recipes every day. Staff is extremely helpful. During the race days always fully booked. One of the best choice in Buriram.

|0.88km from city centerIn 2020 I was locked down for six months in Thailand and I made a trip to Buriram to visit a sick friend for a week, and this hotel was recommend by his son. Everything about our stay was so wonderful, and would come back in a minute. In fact we extended our stay for a whole week. Great location, parking a charm, off the main road so quiet, and the hosts were so nice and welcoming as well as the rest of the staff. The room was clean and neat and a wonderful bathroom with tons of hot water. And breakfast included was excellent with good choices. And so nice to eat there in the afternoon and evenings too for a nice selection of different dishes. The coffee was outstanding too. While Buriram might not be a major tourist destination, we found lots to do. Had a fun day at a fishing park, touring and looking over the Buriram United stadium and discovering a down to earth Hungarian-Thai Restaurant. When Thailand opens again for tourism, when doing another road trip, the Green Hotel would be on my list of top choices. I thank the so nice husband and wife hosts for their kind reception and our lovely stay. Jim at Maplelag in a snowy and cold winter wonderland in Minnesota USA

It is near the bus station and not far from the railway station, although these are not relevant to many tourists. The whole city is not big, and it feels that most of the merchants are not facing tourists. The hotel is fully equipped with a swimming pool. The gym is divided into an aerobic zone and a strength zone. On both sides of the pool, the restaurant is also next to the pool. Breakfast and dinner are good. I don't think there is anything interesting around it. Many foreigners, some families, may be foreigners working in Thailand on vacation. The room is large, bright, simple and comfortable. My room looks at the pasture in the back(?). I went for a horse race. I ran cross country in another part of Thailand the previous weekend. This hotel is a good place to recover. 832RMB for 4 nights, but the night before the horse race cannot be booked, you have to change.

The only thing I could have a gripe about was the wifi which wasn't great but apart from that I would definitely stay there again.

Standard rooms with average cleanliness according to Thai standards, higher room categories better.
Fast and mostly stable WLAN in the room and hotel.
Mattress and room furnishings in the standard room partly with visual and functional defects, which hardly ever occur in higher categories.
Hot water in the shower is reliably available with good and constant pressure.
Air conditioning in all inhabited rooms with insufficient cooling capacity. Problem fixed after report by hotel technician.
Swimming pool cleaning not continuous, therefore daily cloudiness and other pollution, is occasionally heavily frequented by local tour groups,
Service staff basically very attentive and nice, many with English language skills.

AC is cold quickly and quite. Clean, TV, refer. Would only ding them for dead batteries in remotes and no coffee or kettle in room. Breakfast was good enough had toast, jelly, ham, and eggs with coffee. Guess I just please easily.

|0.89km from city centerI have stayed at the Best Western on several occasions, my last visit was in 2019, I have always seen it as a quality 3* hotel but sadly on my visit during the Christmas period I now see it as average 2* accommodation. Except for the pool most of the standards expected of a worldwide chain hotel have nose dived and sadly the Best Western reputation is being soiled. Within an hour of check in I had to have my room changed for the following:- 1. TV with very few channels all unwatchable and the set so old with no HDMI for gaming or streaming. In short no TV to watch. 2. Bed linen not fresh and with holes. The second room on the other side was just the same, again linen had to be replaced but this time stained but no holes. One one day housekeeping left the room with no towels, I had to ask at 8pm for them and when delivered they were worn out with holes. Finally the breakfast buffet which previously was very good is now barely recognisable, variety has been cut by 50% to the extent there is only one hot choice daily of which every other day is just vegetables. The varied cake, pastry, bread and fruit options are sparce and the new coffee machine has very small cups which are machine filled to halfway!! Laughable!! I was so saddened by the obvious cost cutting measures that are taking the hotel down, the manager should really get a grip on his hotel before customers are lost to the extensive competition in the vicinity. With a minimum cost per night of B1300 plus B200 pp for breakfast currently this hotel is overpriced with poor customer service, at the moment I would steer clear of the Best Western Hotel, Buriram.

|3km from city centerThis was our 8th stay at the Amari Phuket and probably our last. Since previous manager ”Piere” has left the vibe of the resort seems to be cost cutting. Piere new how to make guests welcome and I know the staff respected him. The rooms are clean comfortable but very tied and showing the resorts age. They CERTAINLY ARE NOT A 4 or 5 STAR Standard. 3 AT THE BEST.. The pool is far too small and old, with only a few people in the pool it seemed overcrowded. The timber decking decking is old and cracked, The balustrade fencing is old and damaged in many parts. If you don't take the shuttle to reception area the walk up the stairs is too long. On a positive note the staff are all excellent providing exceptional service. The Breakfast was also exceptional. Meals at the restaurant were good but quite expensive. We ate out often. The location is excellent but probably needs to be bulldozed and replace with a modern more functional layout design. As an overview the Amari Phuket resort is far overpriced for 3 - 4 star.

|0.8km from city centerI was in town to see a football match at the Chang Arena and stayed at the Qoo Hotel for two nights in late November. Firstly, if you book a flight with Nok Air (or Air Asia I believe) their shuttle buses pick up and drop off at The Qoo Hotel, which makes things far more convenient getting from Buriram Airport (which is 30 minutes out of town). As for the hotel itself, it's relatively basic but great value for money. Staff were friendly and helpful and the whole place had a nice vibe. My single room was clean and comfortable, the wi-fi signal was very strong, the shower was hot and the air-conditioning nice and cold (not that I needed it in late November) There is a big 7-11 right on the corner of the street and plenty of restaurants and coffee shops within easy walking distance. The centre of town and night market is a 15-minute stroll. I can't comment on the breakfast because I had read it was only basic so I went to Jimmy's Sports Cafe (10-15 minute walk) and had a full English instead. Would I stay here again? Absolutely!

There are very large trees inside making it shady. Waking up early to the sound of birds singing made the atmosphere even better. The rooms are spotless, the mattresses and blankets are clean and comfortable to sleep on. The bathroom is clean and all the equipment used in the room is complete. There is also a hair dryer. The price is very good.

|1.11km from city centerThis is a very new hotel (only opened in September 2022) and is clean, spacious and looks great. The rooms are really lovely, lots of space, gorgeously soft bed, and a decent bathroom with good hot shower. The only oversight is there's nowhere to turn off the light next to the bed, so perhaps a bedside light on the small table (only on one side) might help. The biggest disappointment is the breakfast, which was terrible. Not only is it up a flight of stairs next to the pool and outside the main building, so this hotel cannot be recommended for anyone with a disability or mobility issues, but the breakfast itself was just minimal and awful. No juice, no fruit, only water, cold fried eggs, and one Thai dish which was very simple stir fried noodles. I did mention the restricted access to the breakfast area so let's hope the place is moved to a more sensible location soon. But they do need to work on the variety and quality. There's a rooftop bar, which does food and expensive drinks (very expensive when you consider the price of the hotel rooms - you wouldn't pay 170 for a small Heineken bottle unless you're in a 5-star hotel) so avoid unless you're feeling flush, or just go for the food. Again, this is inaccessible to anyone with mobility issues. While I don't normally mention these facts, considering this is a brand new hotel that's gone to the trouble of making all other areas accessible (ramp up to the main door, lift, no steps to get there or to the room from the lift) I do think that authorities in Thailand should be making accessibility a fundamental requirement of any new building project that is open for public use. Oh well, it was worth a try but unless the breakfast is revolutionised we won't be staying again.
