We stayed here on our way from the Keys to Daytona so we just needed an overnight stay. The price was reasonable and the room was comfortable, but if you're going to be staying more than one or two nights, I'd suggest somewhere with a bit more comfort, even if it means a few dollars more per night. The bathroom didn't look to be as clean as it could have been, and the shower chair in the bathroom had a brown stain on it that I truly do NOT want more information about and had cobwebs hanging off of it. There were cobwebs in the corners as well. The beds were soft and I slept well, however, if you're used to a firm bed, you may have trouble here. If you're like me and can sleep wherever and whenever you're still long enough, you'll be fine. There are only four handicap parking spaces and two of them are closer to the lobby/registration area than they are to the room. I have no cartilage in my knees and after eight hours in the car, my knees were shot and I had to park by the lobby and walk across the parking lot to get to my room. Again, small inconvenience, but worth noting in case you have someone with an actual disability that makes it hard to walk. I give this three stars because the room was comfortable and the rates were fine.

This hotel should be very inviting, a beautiful property, good location, great pool and good rooms. That being said the hotel has miles to improve on service including their front of house team and the front desk agents. Mariah (apologies if the spelling is incorrect) is rude, dismissive, and lacks any sort of general customer service skills and not someone you want representing your brand at the front desk. She lacks any loyalty awareness, and has no care in the world if you express any concerns about your stay or experience to her. Really ruins your experience when you get treated by the face of the brand like that on your first experience as you walk in the hotel. After reading many reviews on the property it seems like the response of the hotels is that of, let’s defend ourselves and not addresses anyones concerns so I don’t expect much from the management to try and fix anything. On a side note, hotels have guaranteed check in times however traditionally one may show up before this time and can usually check in if their room is ready or wait for a room to be prepared. This hotel decides in an absurd fashion that even if your room is ready they have a $30 early check in fee. Penny pinching at its finest when you pay hundreds of dollars for your stay. This hotel has a long way to go in terms of learning how to appreciate its customers and train their employees with basics of customer service. Marriott is the way to go. Bonvoy loyalty matters to all of Marriott’s brands and service makes you feel welcome in their property not like you’re a burden for being their like this property does.

The hotel is very user-friendly and we can check in early when we arrive at 5am. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The room was large enough and very comfortable. The wardrobe is large. The bathrooms are large and well kept and neat. There is soap, shampoo, conditioner, shower cap, toothpaste, toothbrush and slippers. Like other hotels abroad, there is no hot water bottle and you need to bring your own. The view from the window is great. Next to the hotel is Publix Supermarket, which has both raw and cooked food, and there are many specialty restaurants nearby. It is also easy to walk to Dadeland Mall and other Plazas.

I never give a negative review but felt compelled to for this hotel. If you can stay anywhere but here, please do! Beds almost gave me vertigo again - woke up at 2.46am and found my mattress had shifted half way off the base. Bed was horrendous, not disability friendly, lots of steps and elevator asks you to select the floor with different elevators for different floors. Absolutely nothing to do in the hotel unless you head to Dadeland Mall which is not as close as you'd think. No view either unless you count the top of a liqour store and the pool on the roof of the hotel next door, the bar didn't open til 3pm and drinks were overpriced ($15 for a basic cocktail, $4.19 for a pepsi) with gratuity already added but bartender gave change back in such a way that there was an expectstion of an additional $5 tip, restaurant says its casual but it looked very posh and we didnt feel comfortable dining there, check in was so slow (had to wait over 3 hours, people who arrived after us got their eooms before us), lots of hidden charges ($75 security deposit PER night!!!) - everyone in our party was charged a different rate even though we were attending an event with a special rate organised. They also charged full valet parking price which was extortionate despite being told by reception that they hadnt charged us. Only good thing is the proximity to Publix across the street for their subs and apparently the metro gets you to the airport in 25 minutes! We attended an event here and you had to leave the hotel and use the attached office elevators to access the function rooms which were closed on the Saturday. Reception staff were friendly and buffet food at event was good.

I’ve stayed at this property numerous times over the last couple years and never had an issue until this stay. To start with I was charged a $40 fee on 2 separate credit cards for incidentals ($80 total). My first morning after arrival I discovered ants in my bathroom and kitchenette. I notified the front desk about the double charge on my card and about the ants in my room. They assured me the ants would be taken care of and that my one card would be credited back the $40 in 24 hours. (It’s been almost 72 hours now). Upon returning that night to my room I noticed there were still some ants. I assumed they had treated and that all would be fine by the morning. When I woke up Sunday morning I found ants all over my belongings in the bathroom on the counter and in the kitchenette all throughout the sink. I was departing that day so I packed my things, went downstairs, notified the young lady about the ants again and she didn’t seem overly concerned but acknowledged me as she did the day before. I got home a few states away and when unpacking my belongings low and behold I have ants in my stuff. (As a side note I don’t have any food items packed with my belongings.) I then began looking through my credit card statement and found another pending charge for $10 on top of the 2 separate $40 pending charges on my 2 separate cards. I contacted the hotel and they assured me again this would be removed within 24 hours. I also let the lady who I spoke with know that I was very displeased with the ants in my room and the fact that I brought ants home. Her response to me was “you should have reported it when you were here and we could have moved your room”. At this point I told her that I did report it twice and was told the room would be “sprayed”. The lady on the phone then said “oh I so sorry the girl who was working on Saturday is new and still training and maybe she did not know that we cannot spray the room when you are there because you could maybe have an allergy to the spray or something and that you should have been moved to another room.” She said she would have the manager contact me Monday morning. It is Monday afternoon as I write this review and the manager has yet to call me. I also messaged Marriott regarding the issue and they also have not gotten back to me. It’s a shame because this is a really nice property and I would stay again if they would have the decency to make it right for my last trip. I have attached some photos of the ants but these were taken after I cleaned off the counters so I could get ready to leave the room

      Homestead

Compendium: Customer oriented staff. Simple and comfortable rooms. Decent amenities. Well maintained. Very short distance to shopping sites. “So, why would you stay all the way out in Homestead, which is sort of like in the middle of nowhere?” That’s what a friend asked me after a few stays at this hotel at the tip of Florida. I informed the individual that this TownePlace was definitely a hidden gem in my eyes. It is definitely a distance from the major cities like Miami, Doral and FLL but it is still a great choice for many reasons. If you are fond of shopping then there is a shopping plaza ~ 5 minutes driving distance, with off-price retail stores like Ross, Marshalls, and TJ Max, and brands like Old Navy, Kohls and the must try ‘Its Fashion’ for fashionista females who might love trendy or urban clothing(I found myself wanting to either pick out some items for friends or just bring them and watch them find multiple beautiful items at a great price.) There isn’t much of a view but there is a Wendys in walking distance, and you can make a quick dash to Publix or Mcdonalds across the street. The front desk staff to the housekeeping and maintenance workers are always friendly, personable, and some staff like Sasha and Maria - definitely my favorite front desk staff and housekeeper, respectively - will always ensure you are comfortable and have everything you need during your stay. Maria would often ask if there is anything I need without being prompted or asked. Their personalities and work ethic are both awesome and perfect for their positions. The hotel also seems to uphold safety and privacy standards rather well as I’ve always observed them asking for identification in a polite manner. Even Jesus, one of the maintenance workers whom I constantly ran into, was very friendly and would greet me with a “hey” and smile even when I wasn’t aware he was nearby. But if you arrive at night you will possibly be greeted by Emory and Elias who are also very likable and amiable. As I’ve stayed at this location a few times, I can say that the rooms are well maintained for a hotel built in 2016. Maintenance ensures the hotel is well kept and preserved. The rooms are simple with no bells and whistles but you’ll feel relaxed and comfortable. The TVs are a decent size, maybe 47', and there is the basic selection of channels . They do come with a full kitchen setup. Utensils are provided. The showers have always felt clean and hot water is always available. The gym is a decent size(maybe borderline spacious) with an adequate selection of equipment. I once grilled at 2am in the morning and was even able to get an oven mitt upon request. The hotel does offer complimentary breakfast and it is a decent selection. There is often yogurt, milk, Belgian waffles, cereal, and veggie frittatas. The breakfast staff is very friendly so if you do not see something you like do not hesitate to ask, as I’ve seen about two people ask for something specific and the kitchen

Choice properties are kinda hit or miss. This one is a home run. Nicely located, reasonable high season rates, large rooms, competent front desk and good housekeeping. This is an older property but very well maintained. The franchisee knows how to run a hotel. About 15 minutes from Miami International Airport. There is a Publix supermarket and a vibrant shopping ***** with a couple of sit down restaurants right next store. Ample parking. I'm checking out now but thought I'd leave a review because I was impressed.

The staff is what makes this place amazing. Nora is always friendly, accommodating, and extremely helpful with my requests. She was my ”recreation director” during my stay, and trill took care of me and my son while we were there. Juan, one of the managers, answered all my questions, and made me feel comfortable and ”at home”. Yeilly addressed every issue I brought to her attention. Angelo promptly fixed a jammed window shade in my room. Lisette, the other manager was always friendly and helpful. Andres and Vincent were my breakfasts hosts that I enjoyed my morning coffee with.

I think this hotel has more slots Advantages: The location is very good. It is a 10-minute drive from the bayside market and a 10-minute drive to the island. The gate is a miami trolley terminal (the bus is free and there are many lines). The welcome is a hot chocolate tart, and free ice water and limited wines are available in the lobby. The waiter was warm. The restaurant 8 and 1/2 downstairs is good, the Italian girl is warm and patient. Disadvantages: Check in at 16:00, which is a little early, so wait until 4:30 to get ready. In addition, if check in is later than required, additional fees will apply. Room facilities are not new. Downstairs is a construction site, as if building a church. It has been more than a year. Workers started work at 7 o'clock on weekdays. Don't expect too much of a room with a park view. It is a street garden with a view of the sea. The other part of the hotel is the superior apartment where you can see various dogs in the lobby. Hotel parking can only be valet parking, a price every 4 hours, 30 dollars a day, and tip. Behind the small chapel is $ 10 during the day and $ 10 overnight (please call me Lei Feng). It's opposite the office building and it won't open on weekends. In addition, it is not recommended to choose a room with breakfast. If you choose, the hotel will provide a $ 10 voucher per person, which is applicable to the 6 restaurants downstairs, it is better to eat it yourself. I booked a room with breakfast, but the breakfast information was not tied to the room number, order number or the person who booked it. It is randomly bound to the person who stays. The hotel didn't find my breakfast, and Ctrip didn't find it. I saw it at check-out and gave a day of vouchers. I went to buy bread for lunch.

Very good five star hotel. Good location, surrounded by high-rise apartments and glass office buildings. If you need to drive in and out of the parking lot multiple times by car, it is recommended to use the hotel's Valet, which costs slightly more than US $ 48 a day, but unlimited access, only need to call 10 minutes before the car. If you only need to go in and out once, you can self-park. There are only a few street parkings around the hotel. The room is large and the facilities are fully functional. The toilet is separated from the wet and dry, which is very user-friendly. The pool area service is in place, you do n’t need to worry about it during the whole process, just enjoy it ~ the food is very delicious, I ordered three dishes, everything was delicious

Stayed here 2 nights post cruise and we simply loved it--5 min walk from the beautiful Brickell shopping center. The best part of this hotel is the pool area without a doubt--its stunning with great service and a gorgeous pool where children are most welcome. The main lobby bar is a slight let down for us and looks a little dated but still nice. Rooms again are nice but in comparison with other 5 star properties in Miami are showing signs of age. Breakfast however in Le Mar is spectacular with simply beautiful food and if you eat outdoors the views are magnificent.

I'm giving my experience a 5 star review because of Peter and his welcoming energy! He was fabulous and super helpful during our entire stay. The only negative experience would be the super thin walls. I could hear conversations (and other activities) from my neighbors on both sides of the wall. I stayed on the 15th floor. Hotel is in great location - walking distance to coffee, convenience stories and great restaurants in Brickell Village. Bed and pillows comfortable. My only suggestion would be to add a rack or shelf in the shower to hold soap, shampoo, etc. Quick and great valet service.

Come out to play alone, thank the hotel for the wonderful enjoyment provided to me. The two brothers at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and there is no problem with the service. The most important thing is the location of the hotel, which is really convenient for downtown Miami, and there are many options for ordering. Miami is not a big place. You can go anywhere you want within 20 dollars by taxi. I especially like the decoration style of the room, and the lobby is also very artistic. highly recommended. Will consider staying next time.

I have been to Miami a few times and feel that this hotel is really no.1. Now it's hot season. One day, I grabbed 1200 a night and usually it is 1600, but the swimming pool closed a little earlier. The disadvantage is that there is no fan in the bathroom. My boyfriend's shit stinks. There is also water from Fuji, which is not offered voluntarily every day. In addition, it is full score. I made a reservation online using my credit card. It was a Chime Visa Credit Card, the reservation was confirmed. The card was charged, no problem. We showed up after midnight on a Sunday morning after a long flight. I handed Ricardo - the clerk - my driver’s license and credit card. He told me they don’t accept Chime - no prepaid, no Cashapp, no gift cards. It needs to be a real bank. He said do I have another card? I said no. I reiterated to him it’d already been charged, it’s not any of the categories he mentioned. It’s a seriously legitimate card which had already been charged. Almost as if reading off a script, he kept repeating “No prepaid, no Cashapp, no gift cards. Must be a real bank.” I asked, what can I do? He suggested I get a cash advance from a nearby ATM and there’s be a $100 cash deposit repaid when I check out. So I took an advance at an ATM. I came back with the cash and gave Ricardo the cash and ID. He said, “OK, and the bank card?” I said, “We just had this conversation, and you said to get cash instead!” He just kept repeating the script, “ no prepaid, no Cashapp, no gift cards.” He did reverse the charge that was already on the card…or so I thought. By the way, there is absolutely nothing in the fine print that indicates Chime is not acceptable. Ricardo also lectured me about how it is ridiculous that I don’t have a real bank card - “Everybody else does, what’s wrong with you?” This happened after 1:AM where I had literally called at least 5 other hotels by now with zero availability. And Ricardo had rooms available. People were calling asking for rooms and he’d say yes, and each time the script: “no prepaid, no Cashapp, no gift cards.”. This time he added “No Chime - must be a real bank like Bank of America, Wells Fargo, no fake banks.” I finally found a place nearby. I spoke to my bank to get the charge dropped off, since they claimed they issued a refund. The bank called them to confirm it. The clerk this time, Lydia, kept hanging up on us when we tried to get confirmation of the refund. We kept asking for the refund approval code, she wouldn’t give it over the phone. She finally said she could email it to me. I got the receipt with only internal information - absolutely no actual code from Visa. Numerous requests for the actually code have thus far gone ignored. This hotel appears to be very suspect. The staff is quite rude. I highly recommend not attempting to stay here.

Service from the receptionist was super friendly and efficient and the hotel room was tastefully newly-renovated and exceptionally clean! The hotel is in a good location, and you can participate in a variety of marine sports within a five minute walk. There are many nice and delicious restaurants nearby. The lobby of the hotel is warmly furnished and the apartment-style rooms are fully equipped. Through the window, you can see the sea of sailing boats, and it is a warm and happy holiday with your family! Very good vacation experience. highly recommended!

Had a horrible experience a couple of blocks away at some trashy place… But not only was this hotel the exact opposite of that, but they ACTUALLY got me in the vacation mood right back again. Luis the manager was nothing but a knowledgeable young man of the area and his hospitality is what got me to give this a shot. 10/10

The location is excellent. Next door to the people mover, Freedom Tower, a 3-5 minute walk to Kaseya Center and Bayside Marketplace, and 5 minute drive to PortMiami. The location doesn’t get much better for downtown Miami. Checkin was odd and hostile—the employees didn’t seem to accept mobile checkin despite the app pushing it. They almost acted like I was the first person to use it. The room was small but expected, and packed with some cool technology. I appreciated the free welcome drink, aluminum bottled water and tote bag. The bed was horrific. The worst sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel. It was hard as a rock (I like firm mattresses but this took the cake). I barely slept and woke up numb at times. The drawers under the bed also creaked with every movement made. It was awful. Outside noise wasn’t terrible at the 9th floor, just occasional sirens or motors revving. Room was clean, and was exactly what I expected. If you haven’t looked into them, it’s about the size of a cruise ship cabin and the bed takes the entire width of the room. It’s a cool and different concept. I paid the extra $19.95 for breakfast and it was a letdown—literally just three warm items and then granolas. The fresh fruit and pastries weren’t available. I would pass on this and save the money. The hotels vibes and bars were cool, and definitely made up for some of the shortfalls, but for the bed alone I don’t think I’ll be back.

The hotel itself is very good, there is a literary fan, although there is an airport passing over the head, but the window is still very quiet, every half hour there is shuttle between the airport subway station hotel, 24 hours without stopping, take a few minutes to have the subway and The bus is very convenient. The only bad thing is that there is no food around. The hotel’s restaurants, taxes and tips are extremely high.

The hotel is a short distance from the airport, but it takes twenty minutes to actually take the shuttle bus. And the shuttle to the airport was only one hour before the start of the train. No noise, very quiet. I can't hear the roar of the plane. Small and exquisite, breakfast local buffet no one service, the choice is more limited. The service staff are bilingual English-speaking talents and the service attitude is very good. I went for a walk and came back and sent me two bottles of water. There is no water in the room. If you buy it, you need a bottle of 2.8 dollars. The room is very big, if you value the area, the price is very high. Booked a single bed room, directly gave me a suite of twin beds, plus the sofa can actually live three people. Explain that as long as it is not a busy season, it can still be changed after going. The overall is very good. Very good impression.

The hotel is good in all aspects, but there are two points to draw your attention: First, there is no free parking, using valet parking, 25 knives per day. The second is breakfast, there is no breakfast in the usual sense, but the bread is with you, coffee is with you, no money, all free. So it is good or bad, you can do it yourself.

The one with a kitchen was booked, and it had a balcony, and it cost me 25 dollars. In the end, I added 40 dollars to Fudge. It was said that it was a bay room. When I entered the room, I got a city view. I just stood on the balcony. There was a little shadow of the sea far away. After more than half a month, I found that the upgrade fee was credited to US$101. After processing by Ctrip, the hotel refunded US$56, which should be US$61. Very satisfied with Ctrip.

The lobby is small, the rooms are very nice and the service is warm. The roof has a swimming pool with heating, and the water is warm. There is a public parking lot 100 meters away, 10 yuan a day. There is 711 next to it for convenience.

I only stayed here a night because it was right next door to the famous Gold Rush gentleman's club, which made it easy to walk on over instead of worrying about driving home after drinking alcohol or dealing with the hassles of ride-sharing. However, being next door to a great strip club is about the only upside to this place. First of all, being charged $112 on a weeknight is too much for a really small room with just a bed and night light. The mattress was really squishy and the bed frame is really low off the floor. The entire bed just felt rickety and cheap. There is no fridge or microwave, and no TV in the room. There is fast WiFi, though. Seemed like a somewhat shady part of town but there is an electronic gate which makes you and your vehicle seem more secure, and they also have a security guard sitting in the parking lot all night (felt kinda bad for him). There is also a pool which looks clean but I didn't try it out. The front desk clerks seem a little odd, maybe baked from too many drugs? They just seemed spacey and kinda out of it when talking to them. Overall, I would only stay here if you wanna visit the Gold Rush strip club and like the idea of walking to it. Otherwise, there are better motels in the area.

Stayed here on an over night lay over with my family of four (two adults, two older teens). After a delayed arrival at around 7:30pm, all we wanted to do was get to our hotel. Waited for 10 minutes no shuttle. Called the hotel, told them where we were standing and was instructed to move to pick up station 7 and shuttle would be on the way. 20 minutes later. No shuttle. Called again and same front desk employee told me ”I don't know what to tell you, he's on the way should be there in less than 10 minutes. Just as we were about to give up and take a cab, along came the shuttle. Driver was nice, I”m guessing busy doing something else when we needed him to pick us up. Here is your pro tip: 1: Don't assume the shuttle runs non stop. It doesn't. 2: Call the hotel and make sure its on the way. 3. If you have an early AM flight, don't stay here unless you want to UBER or Cab to the airport. The shuttle does not start running to the airport until 7AM. Our flight left at 7:30, so a 12 dollar UBER it was. The rest of our experience was fine. This is nice property. Had the two bedroom unit and had great space for our family. Used the washer and dryer on second floor (bring your quarters 1.75 per wash, 1.00 per dry). They have a full service bar that stays open until 9pm. Until they improve their Airport shuttle service (remember, they are an AIRPORT HOTEL). I would stay someplace else.

I booked for one night at this hotel/apartment building. Check in was easy and communication was smooth and quick over text. Room is well appointed and clean. It was a nice surprise to find a bottle of wine for my enjoyment as well as tea and coffee. Plenty of closet space and a mini fridge for keeping things cold although I was there one night so didn't use it. Good flat screen TV with premium channels. Really liked the quiet location but still had access to many amenities and food choices. Highly recommend for longer stays as well.

After departing from our cruise, we arrived early (10 am) of our check-in time. We had booked the room through Chase Ultimate Rewards using points and received confirmation from Chase. I am also a Gold Elite Bonvoy member. When we arrived, our reservation was not in the system. After going back and forth with management, the manager, Karen, basically told us (at 3pm) that they would not be able to accommodate us that night as they were overbooked and had no rooms available. ”Chase” had not paid the hotel for the room, so we do not have a reservation in the system. I was asked to contact chase to get the hotel a virtual credit card to keep my reservation. We talked to Chase and they had to work with the hotel directly. According to the Chase Rep, Chase had to pay for a new booking and pay extra fees for us to stay that evening, so the hotel did have availability. We eventually checked in at 4pm. Mind you we are a family traveling with a 6 and 2 yo, at risk of not having a place to stay. We were not the only guests in that position, there were at minimum four other groups with their 3rd party reservations not being recognized. I believe they have a system error that they refuse to recognize. Or maybe it's on purpose to have customers book a lower cost room to end up charging the booking company more money for the reservation. Either way it was a poor experience all around. This was my first time experiencing this with travel to six continents and 25+ countries. The hotel itself was ok. The pros were complimentary breakfast, free airport shuttle, and large lobby which we regrettably had to wait at for 6+ hours. The cons were check-in process, dirty room floor, and a sticky deadbolt that caused us to be stuck in our room until maintenance was able to let us out. The location is only convenient for the airport, no where to eat at or walk to nearby. Kind of shady area with run down business around.
