|7.19km from city center I was passing through Tashkent on September 8, 2023. I stayed at this hotel for literally a few hours (between plane flights). I am very grateful to the staff for their attentive and kind attitude, especially the man at the reception (unfortunately, I didn’t ask his name), they not only fed me (although breakfast time was already over), but also helped me call a taxi. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. If I'm ever in Tashkent again, I will definitely stay at this magnificent hotel.

|5.3km from city centerAteca Hotel is a centrally located deluxe hotel. We had booked the Deluxe King Room on the 5th floor, and the room was huge. With floor to ceiling windows and a sort of balcony, the room was luxurious. The hotel is delightfully laid out in a welcoming fashion with lots of space to lounge around in the lobby. Apart from the main restaurant, it has tiny nooks and corners laid out with seating for meals and cafe. The breakfast buffet is wonderful and well laid out, with lots of variety. And the staff are always there to help. The main sights of Tashkent are not too far off. The hotel offers a haven of calm and comfort when you return from your sightseeing tours. More reception staff need to learn English if they are looking to cater to global clients.

It’s is a short walk from the metro station and Chorsu bazaar on one side and a beautiful area called ‘the circus’ on the other. Flanked by many eateries and restaurants, Mirzo is central to a lot of the sights tourists aim to see in Tashkent. They have 15 rooms which means they give each guest the attention and care they deserve. Each of the rooms are clean and well equipped The manager Abdulvali is the most gracious and hospitable person. We were given a beautiful room overlooking their perfectly manicured garden. And Abror and Abdulaziz were most helpful, going out of their way to make us comfortable. If you are looking for a boutique experience hosted by people who really care, and a location that is most convenient- Mirzo is the right choice.

|9.55km from city centerThe Navruz Hotel is in a great location on a side street but close to metro and a few restaurants (can recommend Siesta restaurant!). Rooms are on the small side but have everything you need including kettle, fridge, bottled water, blackout curtains, toiletries, hairdryer. Beds are large and comfortable with lovely bed linen. Bathroom of the room we stayed in was small with shower cubicle only, no bath, but was clean and modern with good water pressure. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool after a hard day's sightseeing and I particularly enjoyed having a cappuccino or two at breakfast. The young male receptionist (sorry I didn't get his name but he seemed to work 24/7) spoke excellent English and was helpful and efficient.

The swimming pool is a blessing at the heat in spring and summer. Filling mid-May, if you ask also something earlier. Location on a very driven street, so rooms forward loudly. I could switch out after a night into a quiet room, no problem, you just have to ask. Location in a few distances from the center. To the next Metro Station at least 20 minutes walk. Buss drive out before the house, but I never tried. Taxi to the center ca.2€. Totally recommended.

|4.68km from city centerFirstly, they didn’t register a reservation for a few days from my colleague, although we can prove that the call was and talked with the administrator! Secondly, the administrator does not know what to do, his colleagues constantly call and consult on every issue, he does not speak Russian and does not understand what he is talking about at all. Thirdly - when talking about the fact that I settled in for 5 days and the payment will be from my Company after the first day of my stay - I was surprised that they put my things out of the room and told me to go up to the laundress myself and collect my things. “Here, go and pick up your own things, they are in the laundress over there.” Fourth, slander, the staff says that I allegedly was in another Velvet Hotel and it turns out that they claimed that I would move out of the Sapphire Hotel to another hotel, threatened with surveillance cameras and claimed that I was there. Fifthly, they talk boorishly to me! I was unhappy with the situation that my things were put out of the room without warning and in any case I was nervous. But you are a hotel management, if you work in the hospitality industry, you should have a different approach to guests. For slander there is an article and the law on my side!

My stay was made extra special because of the helpfulness of Chengris. He works at the front desk. Chengris helped me with room assignment, where to change currency, wake-up calls, and much more. He was very professional and is a gift to all who stay at Inspira-L. I have travelled for 50 years, and Chengris is one of the best. Also, the food was good. Breakfast offered a large assortment of food. The room was large and clean.

|7.21km from city centerChecking in was a nightmare I booked the hotel to stay 2 night before flying back to London. I checked in with my new wife as we just got married and the hotel reception demanded that we need a marriage certificate to stay at their hotel as my wife was Uzbekistan citizens and me being Uk. The reception was very rude unhelpful and even I was telling them that I am with my wife they didn’t want to check me in I found this very upsetting as I said if my girlfriend or female friend, wife was another nationality they won’t ask me for anything after talking to some fake managers that came to the reception they had to make so many phone calls to some places and after 45 minutes of waiting at the reception desk finally they checked us in was terrible no apologies was offered from 4-5 staff that had dealt with us 2 we’re supposed to be management which am not sure I feel they lied. I wasn’t happy at all with this from such a large hotel chain which I have used them in other locations. Room was good sized clean but service in general was poor for such a new hotel. Even morning breakfast staff no one ever said good morning or anything. There was no security at the front door ever when we came in or left the hotel to see local tourists attractions. Avoid the bar too expensive and cocktails weren’t great head to local restaurants for cheaper drinks. It’s a shame I can’t rate the service less than 1 stars if I could I would rate the service 0 stars. We stayed at the Wyndham in Tashkent as well with my wife didn’t have issues and staff there were fantastic.

В гостинице также имеется места для фотосесий и проведения романтического ужина для влюблённых пар и для тех кто желает быть связанными узами брака. Обязательно вернусь в Shaxjahon hotel.

|4.97km from city centerPositive : - comfortable room - in quiet district - the man at the front desk on morning of departure was really nice, it made up a little for the others - see below Issues : - the man at the reception on the day of our arrival was extremely unpleasant, almost rude. He clearly does not think much of serving clients. - he first tried to sell us a more expensive room because it was noon and check out was 2pm, and ”it was not yet ready”. We showed a copy of the email where the hotel had accepted we could get into our room early for no charge, but he still refused. After insisting again, he gave us the room which was fully ready, so he had lied to us. - when we came in the evening to settle our account, he asked us to pay for the full room. I told him we had already been debited a month before and showed him my bank account statement. He said this was only a guarantee and that we would be reimbursed of that. - a month later, we have not been reimbursed and they tell us to deal with Booking - the staff at the restaurant is not taking care of clients : you have to get up and fetch the menu yourself, and look for them all the time as they are not available. Same for breakfast where staff was grim looking. Service is very long. - breakfast was of lower quality and choice than all the others we had in the country - hotel equipment not on par with the price (no swimming pool, no fitness etc)

In addition, the hotel has a very nice swimming pool, including bathrobes and comfortable showers. The breakfast service was good, also the breakfast rich and tasty. The bar was the focal point of the entrance hall and offered the opportunity to buy snacks and drinks throughout the day. I would happily stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is very much a hotel, a new building, a lot of cafes and restaurants (french, Italian, Japanese cuisine), but not cheap as for Uzbekistan. The hotel itself is a Turkish network, the interior in the appropriate style is luxurious. Everything new, rooms are spacious, there is everything you need. Hotel without stars, but the best of some 4-stars. White machronous coats, slippers, bathroom all the necessary facilities. Very high beds with mattresses, even for my 175 cm growth, people of small growth will have to jump:) Breakfasts are beautiful, dishes changed every day. Moreover, you can order eggs in any form, cashua. Good coffee from the coffee machine that is not in every hotel in Uzbekistan. I would like to celebrate the staff of the hotel. And the staff are receptive, and the restaurant. Very kind, immediately respond to any request. I will definitely recommend this hotel. P. S. On the side of the hotel the construction of a residential complex began, but if you don't stay in the hotel for all days, you won't mind.

|2.3km from city centerMy choice for this hotel at the end of my Uzbekistan trip had been its closeness to the domestic and international airports. For my stay in Tashkent at the beginning of my tour I selected a hotel closer to the centre. The surroundings of the Royal Mezbon are not very pleasant: a very busy street, almost impossible to cross and nowhere to go on foot. Out the window, in fact a whole glass wall, which I like, one only saw ugly apartment blocks from Soviet days. Taxis are the only way to get out from here. The hotel recommends itself also as a spa, but my time here was so limited, that I could not test it. Nor did I have a chance to try the breakfast due to an early flight. Instead I went for dinner, where there were hardly any other guests. There is a bar and a big list of cocktails in the menu card, but the barman seemed to be a total beginner and he didn't even know what brand their only draught beer is. For dinner I had an arugula salad to start, but it consisted mainly of pieces of beef, not mentioned in the menu card. After that I had a 'Traditional Lagman', made with Spaghetti instead of typical Uzbek noodles and again mainly full of meat, the same kind as in the salad before. The whole hotel is full of kitsch with a porch consisting of Corinthian columns and a rather overloaded interior decoration. At least the room was comfortable with a good bed and shower. Unlike most other hotels I stayed in Uzbekistan here one doesn't get an old-fashioned key, but a key card.
