10/10 כוכבים!!!! The place is located in the heart of Tel Aviv's night life, the room was great and Slomi's (the host) hospitality was beyond anything I've ever encountered It was an amazing experience and one I would love to have again in the future המקום נמצא בלב חיי הלילה של תל אביב, החדר היה מדהים והאירוח של שלומי היה מעל לכל מה שחוויתי בעבר. זו הייתה חוויה מדהימה שאשמח לחוות שוב בעתיד.

I picked this hotel on the day of arrival, a spontaneous last minute beach trip. Booking easy, conversation back and forth about arrival time and taxi rules per mail and phone pretty uncomplicated -straightforward service and attitude I could tell. I was greeted by a sweet and helpful receptionist called Sharon and she remained interested throughout the stay in my well-being. So nice, friendly, professional ! So were all other staff members in FO, housekeeping, restaurant and bar -courteous and professional. I wondered what the bad reviews were about -but I really was served by many different people during the stay and all was ok. I could maybe explain it by the situation at the hotel: when you enter through the day and in particular in the evening, you do feel more of a focus on the very trendy and chic restaurant and bar business. The reception is rather small in the back of the entrance area and they focus on getting guests checked in and sorting out issues. It's a boutique hotel without an atrium lobby and grand stairs. Focus is on getting guests what they need and sending them out into Tel Aviv's fun. The Rooms: I booked the smallest and economic option and that's what I got: a small room without any view. The small window was looking into another building courtyard, but there was enough light and even sunshine coming in. There was a small coffee desk, a very comfy bed, and enough closet space. The room was really small but as single traveller I did not mind. It was very clean, nicely bright and had an Nespresso machine and a bottle of wine as a welcome -what more you need. Bathroom clean and with nice amenities. A perfect room to sleep and get really good rest (and I even managed to get a longer telco done from the tiny desk). Internet is good and fast. The highlight was, as mentioned by many other the breakfast. It is finest Israeli cuisine, combined with exotic elements. It is fresh, delicious, exciting food to start the day. It gets busy during the morning so coming early is a good idea. The hotel is located in the middle of Tel Aviv's hot district, thousands of food, drink, fun and relax options around. Beach is a few meters away. Location can't be more perfect. Just beware that Ben Yehuda street is next door and normally the finest walking street in town, but now all under construction and a dusty affair. It will end hopefully soon. I really had a nice time and could not find anything to really complain about, but need to tell them something which really bothered me: the housekeeping staff, probably without realizing it mostly, is incredibly loud in the morning while refreshing the rooms. And the room doors are poorly isolated and you feel that they are standing in the room while talking outside. Sleeping after 8am is impossible, I don't know if it was only with my room area, but it was really loud. I'll leave that with the hotel, if they can do something about it. Other than that detail, a supernice stay in a very hip place in

I stayed here for five nights and had an amazing experience. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful (no requests were too difficult for them). The room was modern and clean. Air conditioning fantastic (very much needed). Location was perfect. 1 minute walk to the beach or 5 minute walk to Gordon public pool. Hotel provided fresh beach towels each morning. I had breakfast a few times and was very nice. Basic but always fresh and just what you needed. The restaurant had a beautiful terrace overlooking the beach and sea, as well as a peaceful terrace in reception with sea view. This will be my place of stay for future trips to Israel!

After my parents surprising myself wife and young son with a vacation to the Dan panorama, I was very excited after having great experiences in other dan hotels in Eilat. This all went downhill once we arrived into the lobby, where the staff were clearly not used to serving tourists who were not Covid patients, for some reason a simple request to have a baby cot or dressing gowns inside my bedroom felt like I had to beg for it to be done. Moving down to the pool where it has been nicely done up, however, reality struck how badly maintained the hotel is when you go to the pool bar where the menu is about a mile long with some impressive choices, where after deciding with the wife what to go for we were informed by a clearly miserable staff member behind the till that the only thing available was drinks. what a waste of time, that was until I requested a big plastic cup to which I was denied due to it only being given out with beers, not bad after spending a couple of thousand shekels in a so-called five-star hotel. I reassured my wife that the breakfast would make up for it all, coming down early in the morning as the Dan is world renowned for their breakfasts. To be very short it was a disaster, lack of choice, unhelpful waiters, A hot drink counter that could only pump out one type of coffee and the look on theor faces when I asked for a Hot chocolate they thought I fell off Mars. the last point which I did not like was the Bar in the lobby where the staff member Ruth was very pleasant however having a Bar without the ability to serve any form of cocktail but knowing how to charge fifty shekel for a orange vodka is beggars belief. Leaving off, this hotel needs a lot for it to be done in order for it to be considered a hotspot for people to come and to justify the huge price tag. A basic courtesy from the Dan hotel would give some sort of reason or compensation for this shocking experience.

The hotel gave us a sea view room and the room rate is really cheap. It also has a double breakfast. It is very convenient to go around. Overall, the experience is really good! The missing items in the room can be called to check out. It is also very convenient. The fly in the ointment is that the site has to pay taxes, but in fact it does not have much impact. I hope I can live in a cheap hotel next time. Hahahahahaha

When we arrived at Liber apartments, we came to a simple lobby with very friendly staff who wanted to help us. Check-in was easy. There was no lift but the staff carried the bags up. Airco did not work completely but the room was fire-soiled. Room for 4 people booked and beds were spacious, 2x kingsize and so no sleeping sofa. Also it was in a super location! All could with foot. If I come back to Tel-Aviv, I know where I stay.

Really disappointed. The hotel has a lot of historical “good reviews” but the reviews posted over the last couple of months give a true reflection of how poor this hotel is, especially through the eyes of a Business traveller. Major Cons - No breakfast service at the hotel (breakfast served outside of the hotel property in another property which is a 5Min walk from the hotel - No MiniBar or Complimentary Water in the room - TV in the room, but no English Channels (half the channels do not work) - No Room Service (in-room Dinning) at the hotel - No concierge Service or Front Desk Support - A/C is a disaster (AC ducts haven’t been cleared in a while > I was I’ll for 2 -Days and in the end end decided to turn it off before I got more I’ll). - No Taxi service available from the Hotel (unless your heading to the airport) - customer service is non existent - the walls are wafer thin. I was in room 29 and when laying in bed could here the room next door showering through the walls. Major Benefits - Good location (That’s it).

It is totally impossible to park your rental car in the surrounding streets. There is a rental parking some 10 minutes walking away though. The hotel is on a busy street and the windows are not isolating so even if the room is not giving to Dizengoff Avenue it will be a trial to sleep through the night, even with earplugs, at least that was the case for us. The hotel is really easy going with a happy hour with local red wines which really brings people together: we had a nice chat with Brazil, US and Israeli guests. The free coffee is delicious and you can get good pastries from the mini market across the street and eat them while reading your free NYT on the hotel terrace ! Marvelous. The easygoingness also shows in the way the rooms are kept, which is a bit on the brink but still ok. The hotel’s location is fantastic, you can reach pretty much every place in Central TA walking. No breakfast room but you get a voucher for some of the cool places in the neighborhood. We had ours in Sidewalk and recommend that.

We had no reservations on a busy Thurs night and the staff helped us arrange room service from the excellent hotel restaurant. Yum! Breakfast was also wonderful. I can't recommend it. Rooms are OK and large, but TV are old, and music machine even older. The hotel is very far from city center and there is nothing around, even not restaurants. Only 2 very very expensive in a building beside. If you need to go somewhere you will need a taxi, and when we asked for one with Visa payment system,, the concierge called one who wants cash and asked for 20 eur more than agreed, be care. Also they have not contactless Visa system. There is only a restaurant for breakfast, closed for dinner several days and there is any bar to take any snack or coffee in the lobby. I stayed here for 7 nights in October. Every staff member was friendly, helpful, & kind. As a single woman, I felt safe knowing that there was someone on staff 24/7. Everyone spoke very good English & assisted with a wide variety of questions. Kyle, Rodrigo, Angela, and David were all attentive. I was in room 106 and had excellent WIFI connection all day and night. Shower had HOT water all the time and the AirCon worked just fine. The beds were comfortable, sheets & towels were clean. I liked the location very close to the beach. I selected this hotel because of its moderate price and central location. The hotel provided me with a hospitality room after check out so that I could take a shower before I got on the airplane. Caution to USA travelers - do not drink the tap water. Do not brush your teeth with the water. Treat it like Mexico. You can get multipacks of bottled water very close to the hotel. However, boiled hot water is perfectly safe. And I was very pleased that the hotel lobby had an ample supply of mugs and hot beverages stocked all the time. Downside: This hotel is showing its wear. Although it may have been renovated in 2015, there are some rooms that still need attention and the rooms don't really look just like the photos anymore. If you aren't satisfied with your room, you should request to see if there is anything else available before you get settled in. Again, treat it like Mexico. Thanks to all staff for a successful visit.

New restaurant - all the elements to become a really great restaurant - only opened a week or so and finding their feet - wine list still to be printed Food was top notch on a par with other top kosher dairy restaurants in Tel Aviv - flavours really came out in the food and dishes were well composed by a chef who really understands food. Novel ideas like Fish Cigars with a curry sauce, excellent Tuna Tataki (portion was quite small), great cheese ravioli with each ravioli filled with different cheese, great fish - sushi which we did not order looked amazing with the chef’s own slant. Only one desert - an amazing millefeuille - with crime brûlée style filling - a work of genius. Still work in progress - good now - but it is going to be great

Was in Tel Aviv on business and pleasure trip, meaning that the location on this hotel was very good! Close walk to bars and restaurants, the beach and to all the areas you want to explore! The room itself was nothing ordinary, a regular hotel room. Got a jar of candy and some water bottles + coffee which was nice. Also nice schampoo, conditioner, bodywash. The room contained no iron + board from the beginning, but had to ask the reception - which worked out fine. Could be good to know in advance since the lobby in Townhouse is not staffed 24/7. The check in was at another hotel(Hobo by Brown) approx. 50-100m away, went smooth and all staff on both hotels were very nice and friendly. Breakfast at the other hotel, bit unconvenient but very managable, good to know however. The breakfast id say is better than most hotels. Freshly made and lots of options, + they hade a barista which made fresh coffees, very nice! Wifi reception in room 7 was very unstable and not good, needs to be improved.

The Jacob Samuel hotel was a great choice! we got a very nice welcome despite the late arrival at 2.30 in the morning ! my friend and I had separate rooms and the manager made sure we stayed on the same floor .the very first night I got a super small room and I was not so happy but after one day I changed to a very nice room -it was really very nice - the feeling of being in the middle of the buzzing city was great. the bar on the lower floor was very nice ,we had some great food and drinks -the bar keepers are good too. the Nespresso coffee in the morning helped me get started . I did struggle with the dashboard which controls the curtains and all lights I must admit. but the shower was fantastic- there is no guarantee , no matter in which category of hotel you stay -it was exceptional ! Yaniv - the front desk manager does a great job -he seems to work around the clock and never gets tired of helping one for example finding a taxi which could become a challenge sometimes in Tel Aviv . the location of the hotel is also great! its about a max. 10 minute walk to the Hilton Tel Aviv beach -so really perfect . so many restaurants and bars on Dizengoff are reachable within Minutes - Thank you Yaniv and Team !

There is no toothbrush in the room. I called and said that the hotel toothbrush was used up tomorrow. I was really speechless. At any rate, a four-star hotel didn’t even have a toothbrush. What’s more speechless was that I had an important meeting early in the morning on the last day. Check out at 6:30, not to mention that I called the morning service the night before, and no one called at 6 in the morning. I went to the front desk at 6:30 and no one checked out. The security said he didn’t get up and asked me to wait until 8 o’clock. In the end, I was the only one who returned to handle the deposit refund after the meeting, so I didn’t get on the last bus to return to Jerusalem on Friday Sabbath. The location is good, close to the sea and the bus station but the hotel is hidden in a dilapidated building, the room facilities are OK, the balcony is booked to see the sea, the bath water is also very good, but to be honest, the service and software facilities are really good It’s not worth the price and the four-star title. It’s better to add some money to stay in the five-star hotel Dan next door or simply stay in Abraham at least cheap and you can make many friends. In short, spending a few thousand dollars to stay in this hotel is not enough. Also delayed

There are very few things to cook, just a little bread, salad, and eggs. Plus a little watermelon or something. Cheese and sauce are a little more. But there is a big kitchen that you can do yourself. There are also two large refrigerators in the kitchen, and the endless ingredients can be placed in the refrigerator. There is still some distance from the beach. When you go over, if a market can buy some fruits and vegetables or something. Prices are more expensive. No way, Israel is like this. Family room with children is very comfortable and clean!

best feature is the location which’s a close proximity to TLV’s classic attractions. Gordon beach is right there. must nicely credit the fine room service. breakfast has minuses but is diverse. the all&all atmosphere & staff conduct at the lobby is no more than that of a youth hostel. besides a morning male receptionist who’s polite, attentive, professional European who mastered Hebrew impressively, the rest are ‘giving their dues’ ok, without *any* sense of hospitality. some clearly try not to look at you on the way in/out,shall you need to bother them with anything.. the few small dining tables weren’t cleaned after use, & i had to actually ask daily for a garbage-free table. the hallways carpets are unsightly to put it mildly. the whole accommodation should cost 1/3 of what it is. you literally pay 4-5 star rate of any great world city (TLV is lovable, but NOT up to par) in return for a hostel. as simple.

Business trip, the hotel is quite big, but every layer seems to have a black dog inside, because the night lights are dark, watching scared, a little infiltrating. About 20km from Tel Aviv airport. Taxi uniform price 180 shekel

Royal Beach was the perfect hotel to end our two weeks in Israel. Situated across from the beach and within walking distance of some of the great neighborhoods it was just what we were looking for. Our room on the 11th floor was lovely with a little balcony overlooking the Mediterranean. Our last day in Tel Aviv was spent across the street at the beach. The hotel will give you towels. I loved the high energy buzz of this hotel. The staff was friendly and professional. I highly recommend the Royal Beach

The staff at reception were terrible! From the very second we arrived, throughout our stay, everything we had to do with them was annoying and difficult. Partly probably due to some very strange rules (e.g we were asked to pay in advance for the rooms and not allowed to give a credit card number as security until we leave and pay with another card, which was not with us at check in, they also charged our card a security amount of €200 without even telling, let alone asking us before doing so). We’ve asked for a few things they might have for the children, and never heard back, including when we needed a thermometer for one of the children I called because I was alone with them and couldn’t go down to reception. I never heard back from them for over an hour and had to go buy one when my husband got back later on. These are just examples, it was like that with everything we needed or asked and they were generally unpleasant. Perhaps it was the overload of the second part of August? The concierge was on his mobile on a private call and we stood there for 5 minutes until deciding we better go out and get a taxi on our own. The list goes on and on....
