This was our second stay with the Alexander. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely visit again. The only issue for us was the room service. The food was terrible. We got a pepperoni pizza that was like something from a grade school cafeteria. I mean it was absolutely awful. We also got hummus and grilled pita which was served ice cold for some reason so it was barely edible. Not to mention the menu is incredibly limited. Other than that, it’s a great place !

I just stayed in a train car room - it was dirty & in serious need of updating. The furniture is threadbare & chipped. There is dust in the vents & walls by the vents. Dirty handprints on the walls, carpet felt old, sink got easily clogged and backed up with water. The adjoining door was warped so we couldn’t open it to visit our family in the next room. The AC made a ringing noise every time it ran. The windows look out to interior hallways with very bright interior lights, and the shades didn’t block the light at night. Overall, the room felt like a bad motel. Beware!

We stayed here for the Justin Bieber concert that was right across the street. It’s the perfect location, so close to literally everything and the restaurants ect! Also very SAFE as the valet has to let you into the building by key card after a certain time, and the elevator is only operated by your room key! Very SAFE! Upon arriving, we had a lot of things to carry as well as our children ect. The girl working out at the valet, was amazing. (she was working early evening on 4/21 if their managers read this she had kind of curly/short hair) Anyways, she helped us upto our room carrying things and even waited for us to check in quickly she made us feel so special she was so attentive!!!! Our room looked like there was something sticky on the kitchen floor and I went back to the front desk to tell the woman. She was SO kind and moved us right away, and gave me a Credit for the valet for the trouble, she was so accommodating with all our needs, and moved us right where we wanted! The next room was great. The bed was SO comfortable!! The kitchenette had everything you could want and it was so awesome. Every single employee there is so friendly and helpful. Nick the valet guy who was working the late shift 4/21 was awesome! He had seen us on the sidewalk after the concert, standing in front of the hotel waiting for my husband to come down from the room, and he checked on us to see if we needed anything. We went to walk around the city and we came back some stuff had fallen from our stroller, and he came to help us, and was very friendly and knowledgeable about the city and things going on! There was a lady cleaning the bar area this morning, I didn’t catch her name, but she was so friendly to us and struck up a conversation with us and was the sweetest! She told us about her grand daughter that likes to do cartwheels everywhere and honestly the interactions with these employees made us feel SO WELCOMED and at home, positive vibes and good people. Checking out was great, very easy, valet got our car to us quick and offered to help us with whatever we needed. Alyssa, Shawn, Marcus and Alex were there today in valet and were so helpful! Also making small talk about makes and models of cars ect. I’ll never forget the hospitality and the most friendly employees I have ever seen in my life-I felt so welcome and will be coming back here every time we come to Indy! I felt like I was in a 10star hotel based off the interactions with the employees!!! Round of applause for all of you at this hotel!!!!

When entering the property later at night (around 10pm) I wasn't greeted or anything, asked my name and for ID, given my rooms keys and nothing else (no information on breakfast, bar hours, fitness center or being a Marriott rewards memeber), she wasn't rude or anything but not your typical experience when staying at Marriott properties. My overall stay was fine as my room was nice, clean and a/c worked. Again upon checking out (11am), there wasn't an employee to be seen behind the counter as multiple people were now waiting for someone, a few housekeepers walked by and they didn't address us either, so I just left... Very interesting and uncharacteristic interactions or lack thereof with employees. Definitely made the stay less impressive and average

Great experience I'm always surprised when a visit at any hotel goes as well as this one. The lady who took care of us (Debbie) was wonderful to work with: attentive and helpful, very pleasant. The facility was clean and well-appointed. Breakfast was the right temperature and worth taking advantage of. Check-in and checkout were effortless. The ice machine worked and was in an area that did not disturb other guests. I have only good things to say about this location.

The location is very good and many attractions are within walking distance. The hotel staff is very good at serving. The privacy of the hotel is very good. The pool is nice. The disadvantage is that the parking lot is expensive. Hotel staff suggested that we parked in the opposite shopping garage, which cost less than half of the hotel. There is also a feeling that the paper towels of the five-star hotel are very poor. There was no breakfast at the hotel because there were too many good restaurants to choose from.

My wife and I traveled through Indianapolis and we stayed at this hotel. Olivia was working the front desk. She greeted me very nicely and she was happy to accommodate a couple requests I had. It is not the least expensive place but it is well worth the price in my opinion. I knew how much the rate was before going there. Thx to Google maps, there is no charge for hparking and the valet is also no charge. There is lots of places for all your needs. The entire staff that I had contact with was very pleasant and happy to be working there. We were there from Fri until Monday. The room was very clean and comfortable. The beds are also very nice. We didn't have a reservation because we travel on the fly. Olivia gave me a little discount for walking in. We had 2 queen beds because she didn't have any kings left Enjoy your travels everyone and this place doesn't disappoint.

Room 2618 was a beautiful room. A few comments: 1) The room door was slightly misaligned and did not shut. They did fix it very quickly. 2) The internet went out on Thursday for 6+ hours Overall, the experience was great. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. I have never stayed at a Courtyard Marriott that was so filthy in my entire life. We are Marriott rewards members, but since we booked through a third party, I think we got the shaft (hotels don't like that). We were visiting for a family reunion, and upon check-in found out the Starbucks coffee was unavailable because the breakfast area was closed down for COVID. Now, I understand Corona problems, but nowhere on their website did they mention this, however there was a Starbucks 1 mile up the street open??? After visiting with family, we came back to the hotel about 10:30pm. Exhausted I pulled back the sheets to find a stain that looked like blood or jelly. Either way, I did not want to sleep there. (see pics). Therefore, in my nightgown and leggings, I shlepped down to the front desk and asked for another room. We were given a room on the first floor (note: there is smoking in this hotel, so it travels up). After moving all of our belongings, about 11:15 pm, we checked the beds. A ok. However, the bathtub was filthy (see pics). Also, do not plan on house-service...again, was not mentioned on the website. Never, ever, ever, ever, ever again. Keep driving up the highway about a mile for a nicer Marriott.

From the minute I walked to the front desk, Jeff Bobbitt welcomed me as a Platinum Elite member. He was fantastic; warm, helpful, and very professional. It's Marriott employees like him who keep me coming back to Bonvoy properties. I would provide another ”star” in the rating, but the room was a little dated. Also, the Marriott East has several meeting rooms and it was quite a hike to get to my room. Lastly, when Jeff had to provide a map in order for me to get to my room, it's a little too big of a property. I would definitely return to this property! And thanks again to Jeff Bobbitt, a true credit to Marriott

We were in town for a weekend dance competition. The event is all consuming and leaves no time for dinners or visiting with the participants. It was also my daughter’s 16th birthday so I wanted it to be super special. The staff went above and beyond! They arranged a great room, balloons, a card signed by all the staff and a cake to surprise my daughter. She said it was the best part of the weekend. Special shout out to Jermaine the manager, Terra for taking charge to make it all happen and Kyla with the great room hook-up!

The hotel was decent. It seemed clean, free breakfast was fine, staff was friendly. We stayed there as it was a hotel on the list of “Stay to Play” hotels for a baseball tournament in Westfield, IN. Families be warned before you stay here. My son and his teammates were playing wiffle ball in the back parking lot one night while parents were in the lobby. A man wearing a ski mask walked to tree/landscaping line at the back of the parking lot and loitered there to watch the boys. They quickly came inside to alert parents. When we talked with the hotel night staff, they told us that there are “strange” people who stay at the extended stay hotel next door. It was a bit disconcerting how nonchalant they seemed about what to me, as a a parent, is a huge safety concern. I would not want to stay here with my children again, or if it was the only option, I would now be hyper vigilant about my children staying inside the hotel, especially in the evening.

We stayed here unexpectedly for a week during my sorority's conference after a fiasco with an Airbnb that we canceled the day of my arrival. The hotel's reservation person was able to get us into a room immediately. The stay was welcoming and accommodating. The room was clean. The bed was absolutely wonderful. It felt as if I was sleeping on a cloud. The hotel was quiet. As an extremely light sleeper, this was a huge plus. When we needed something, the front desk was timely in connecting with the correct department needed to assist me. The valet was wonderful. I love that the valet service was 24 hours. Hilton saved the day!

This is the second time we stayed here and it is convenient, bright and clean with an airport shuttle. A flight was cancelled and we had to stay overnight for a new flight. This hotel has an excellent r until restaurant open until 10pm and Bar until 11pm. Food and drink were fresh and well prepared. It is a breath of fresh air to stay and have the ability to dine comfortably from a good menu with freshly prepared food. A nice break from pre-packaged junk food. It made an stressful flight cancellation into a pleasant evening.
