The hotel is practically in front of the Five Points station which allows you to get there very easily from the airport. The reception service is excellent. The room is very nice and practical. The price seemed very adequate. Breakfast is good and varied The only bad thing to note and it's not the hotel's fault is the number of homeless people around the Five Points station that makes the area feel a bit unsafe at night.

Oh my gosh this building is so beautiful. With one exception the staff were kind and professional. We got a city view corner room, 1704. It was a birthday splurge. Elegant swanky color scheme, clean. Huge old timey windows on two sides, great view. Shut your bathroom shades in rooms facing east or west, or you'll wake up to a sauna. Easy walk to MARTA train stations, huge plus. We arrived about 8.45 on Saturday night. I think any problem we experienced can be blamed on it being a busy Saturday night, understaffed post COVID19. We were tired. We couldn't figure out where to pull up for valet parking (45/ night, but it is the best safest thing to do). Someone possibly a manager at the valet podium was in a yelling match with a customer. This was scary. The young man who helped with our luggage seemed anxious too, but every young man working valet throughout our stay was very helpful and kind. Give them a raise! Tip well! Front desk staff looked like they were putting out many customer dissatisfaction fires. They did seem stressed. I commend their consistent calm and kind demeanor. We missed the last building tour by minutes which made me so sad. An employee did offer an impromptu tour the 2nd night but we came in too late to enjoy that. So... arriving earlier would have made a big difference to the quality of our stay. I'll review the bar / restaurant By George separately.

I must say when I travel, I do not always go in with great expectations but by far I was blown away by the experience I had this weekend. I chose this hotel because I knew it was within walking distance of America's Mart as I was in town on business to meet with a few vendors. After a long day of traveling, I was greeted by the smiling front desk agent, Olivia! She was informative and made me feel welcome. I also witnessed another guest that checked in in front of me being VERY rude and disrespectful but she held her composure and remained nice throughout the whole exchange. She was knowledgeable about her surroundings and informed me of how to navigate downtown which was extremely helpful not being familiar with the area. In staying in hotels, sometimes you will get to experience just 1 great guest agent but during my stay, EVERYONE was amazing! Upon me checking out of my room the next day, I was greeted by Tennille, Tonya, and Quentin. They all had big smiles as I walked to the desk. Quentin so kindly helped me with storing my bags so that I did not have to lug them around with me to the America's Mart and the ladies inquired about my work and helped me navigate in the right direction to the building. Customer service is to me one of the most important aspects in life because we should treat others right and guest agents see hundreds of people all the time and of course you should not expect them to remember you but guess what?? Dayssss later when I returned to the hotel to stay another night, each of these guest agents remembered me by NAME! They even inquired about how my meetings went and wished me well on the connections I made! I cannot make up how amazing this made me feel and I cannot wait until my next trip to Atlanta because I definitely know where I am staying! Shout out to Lavonta as well for assisting me with my bags to my airport transportation.

Hotels Near Town Restaurant In Atlanta Review

We have stayed here for years for an annual conference at Georgia Tech and this year was terrible. The biggest issue was that we parked 1 day, @ $45/per day because we got in late and moved the car to the G-Tech garage for $25/day. When we left there was a line at the check in/out kiosk so I checked out on the mobile app. When we got home and looked at the bill they charged us for 2 more nights. $90! We immediately called and was told that they would contact accounting, give them 7 – 10 days to adjust. Did Not Happen. Called again after 11 days and got the same line. No one ever contacted us. So we are out $90 and paid another $50 for the other parking. I am Lifetime Titanium, so good luck to others who have no status. VERY disappointing. Pros: • Location • Some staff members • Room layout/upgrade Cons: • We understand the new cleaning rules and are okay with it BUT when you don’t get the towels you requested, they NEVER emptied the garbage, as requested, and basically didn’t listen to the few requests we had, like wanting more toilet paper. • Complimentary breakfast one day because the restaurant was closed was terrible. • Restaurant breakfast, that reopened, which used to be really good, was not and we only went one time, even though I get it for free. We will be staying at the Georgia Tech hotel as we attend the conference in the future.

Checked in around 8pm, hotel and parking lot were quiet. Our room was on the 3rd floor which also seemed quiet. This hotel had some renovations but still needed touch ups. Our door looked as though someone had tried to cut the bottom with a jagged fork, the vanity that the TV sat on had the trim peeling, but the bead was nicely made and comfortable. The refrigerator was old and when it came on my husband could hear it running, I heard nothing. It's conveniently located off of i75, we would stay here again, we checked out at 530am,.the lobby and grounds were quiet, not sure if they serve breakfast because we checked out so early.

They never ran out of anything. The staff was amazing. Our group will defiantly use this hotel again anytime we are in Atlanta even if we have to drive further. Thank you all.

This trip was short but really made me comfortable traveling again. This is a great location. When I pulled up the valet guy was smiling as he greeted me and offered to help with my luggage. The Front Desk Staff was Amazing! I love being acknowledged and appreciated and they did not disappoint! Everything available to me was explained with patience and detail. The room was Perfect! I love when I open the room door and what I see matches what I smell….. Clean!!! The bathroom was fully stocked with towels and shampoo/conditioner and lotion! It’s the little things that make a huge difference as TSA had taken most of my toiletries at the beginning of my travel. The bartender was great! My food and end of the day cocktail were on point. The coffee and breakfast hot and good. The restaurant staff is attentive and friendly. I’m one of those guest who can ask a million and one questions and never once did the front desk staff seem irritated or make me feel like I was being a bother. Some hotels stand out because of their genuine hospitality and customer service. This Hilton delivered both and reminded me why it does matter where you stay. Kudos!

I was at the hotel on a business trip and didn't book my own room, so I can't speak to price/value. The room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast has a great selection and decent food (though the scrambled eggs were very dry my first day there). My toilet paper holder was broken, but that wasn't a big deal to me so I didn't mention it to staff. The linens are on the scratchier side, but that is probably to be expected from a mid-tier hotel - I don't spend a lot of time in hotels.

Almost always leave 5/5 for Hyatt properties but this was disappointing, especially as a globalist. We arrived around 1 am and had to stand out in the chilly weather for a solid 5 minutes before anyone would let us in. Upon checking in, I wasn’t greeted as a globalist, offered water, offered breakfast directions, or given any other direction on the property. When I asked about the self parking the gentleman simply said yes there’s self parking and didn’t give any direction. Our key card didn’t work for the parking garage so we had to print a ticket. When we tried to get our car out, we got stuck on the top level of the garage reserved for the hotel because again the key card wouldn’t work. We had to sit and wait 15 minutes for an employee to open the gate. And of course we couldn’t open the gate at the exit either and had to wait again. We decided to do valet to avoid this disaster again. When we checked in there were no luggage carts and we had to wait 15 minutes for them to track one down. During our stay, I texted the phone number asking for a few items and they only brought about half of what I asked for. Didn’t bother asking again because i kept getting let down by the service. When we checked out, the lady working was extremely nice and the best person we had. When I asked for our water for the day, they somehow didn’t have any water to give. How are you out of water when one of hyatts perks is literally bottled water? When we checked out there wasn’t a valet person working so we had to get our own car. What’s the point of valet if you have to get your own car? I’m usually treated very well at hyatts and have stayed at the centric brand in Denver and have only had great experiences. This was a major letdown.

My friend and I stayed three nights at Hotel Clermont while visiting Atlanta. Great experience! The hotel served as an intriguing backdrop to our visit, enhanced by its decor, history, and, most importantly, its staff. First, Patrick (cafe barista) greeted us every morning with a beautiful smile, great conversation, and much-welcomed, early morning exuberance. What a great way to start the day! We felt as though we had our own guide to Atlanta with informed recommendations he provided for breakfast (Home Grown Restaurant), nightlife, and caveats. I gave it two stars because of proximity and at least the rooms were clean...when we were finally able to check in. Check in was listed at 4 pm. When they finally started letting people check in, it was 4:45...the girl at the front desk even commented, ”I don't know why everyone wants to check in at 4”. Really??? One couple had an email confirming an early check in at 3 pm. She basically blew them off and told them there is no early check in. My friend had booked one of the two bedroom suites for us. She was so excited about sharing this experience with us because she had stayed at the Artmore in the past. Again, what a disappointment. There was a full kitchen, but no glasses, plates, cups, wine glasses - well, you get the picture. There was a Keurig with one paper cup and two coffee pods. There was also a small sitting room with a love seat and a table with two chairs. Upstairs, there were two bedrooms - one was quite large with a king sized bed. The other one barely fit a queen bed and both had sloping ceilings. There was a shared bathroom- again, there were two towels, hand towels and washcloths. For a two bedroom suite! And they knew that yhere were three people staying there. The front desk was not responsive. The housekeeping staff was trying their best to get everything done, and we really felt sorry for them. Management's attitude was not accommodating at all. They acted like we should be grateful they were letting us stay there. After we went out to dinner and a concert, we came back and went to bed...only to be awakened by our smoke detector going off in the king sized bed room where my husband and I were sleeping. We called the front desk...around 2 am...and my husband spoke to someone who told him to take out the battery. He had already climbed on a chair and done that. They sent up two gentlemen, a security guard and a maintenance worker. The smoke detector was still beeping because it was hard wired as well. It actually quit after a few minutes, so they went back downstairs. We went back to bed only for it to start back up. We called the front desk again, and they said they didn't have a battery to replace it! Around four in the morning, we finally were so exhausted that we slept even though it was still intermittently beeping. It was a rough night! The next morning, my husband went down to get a diet coke, and they didn't have anything, so he had to walk up to the Hampton inn (where we should've stayed) to get one. When my friend checked out, we just wanted to get out of there. She called later to express our disappointment and speak to the manager...apparently, the same person at the front desk who checked us in. The same disdain and lack of caring we felt upon check in was exactly what this person displayed to my friend on the phone. I WOULD NOT, IN GOOD CONSCIENCE, RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL UNDER THE CURRENT MANAGEMENT AND/OR OWNERSHIP.

As a Marriott Bonvoy member for over 25 years, I’ve visited many lounges and interacted with many lounge managers…but never have I had as wonderful an experience as here at the Marriott in Buckhead. Ms. Keisha and her daughter Asiah were there bright and early working hard to keep everything hit, fresh well stocked, squeaky clean and ALL with a beautiful sweet smile on their faces. Life is hard - and even harder when you have to report to work at the wee hours of the morning. What a delight it has been to interact with them this week. This was the absolute worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in! After switching rooms three times, the conditions were still absolutely deplorable! Unfortunately, we were stuck here since we were out of town celebrating a friend’s birthday and all other hotels were booked to capacity since it was so last-minute. I have never been more appalled in my life as I was speaking to the general manager who made it seem as though the dirtiness of the hotel was a form of normalcy post Covid. All I received was excuses as to why things were dirty and that they were short-staffed and do not have the personnel to ensure cleanliness amongst all of the rooms. The attached pictures show the couch in a lounge area which I was told the spring breakers come and ruin everything and then leave. This may be true, however when you damage a hotel, I know for a fact you are charged an additional fee. It appears as though they would like to pocket the fee rather than clean and sterilize the areas that are badly stained and damaged. Also, there was a nicotine gum wrapper on the floor as we walked in, a dirty toilet and hair in the toilet as well as the tub which I attached some of the pictures. . The sink was stopped up the entire stay and the electric went off for a period of time. The air conditioner unit seem to make some weird noise every time we turn the unit off and would not stop until the unit was turned back on. There was a stain on the ceiling and the ceiling was a popcorn ceiling which should’ve been a hint and a half that this hotel did not care about esthetics and was dated. As you walk into the lobby, it smelled of pool water and chlorine. It was a terrible and very offputting smell. I cannot say enough about how terrible this stay was in addition to everything else that we experienced, from around 12 AM to 4 AM in the morning, teenagers were running up and down the hallway playing around and chasing each other unsupervised. When I called up to the front lobby so that they could rectify this matter, they did absolutely nothing even though they told me they would send someone out to correct it. They never did and the teens continued to reek havoc throughout the night. My best advice to any customer considering this hotel is to stay far far away and never stay here!!! They do offer a free breakfast but it’s absolutely terrible and inedible. I was so distraught about this stay that I want to make other potential guests to please stay away! Additionally, you will not be receiving a refund if you do encounter these terrible and unfortunate circumstances so do yourself a favor and book elsewhere! If you don’t mind these type of conditions, you might as well stay at $25 a night motel! I have attempted to reach out to the manager, Sal and was advised I would get a call back but never have. I opted to even email him at the same email address he reached out to me with, still nothing! I’m confused as to why he would reach out to me if he had no intentions of actually he

This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had and we only stopped here for one night on the way home to TN from the beach. At first we only noticed the weird black stain on the wall, which was really not worth complaining about. Then we noticed BOTH of the phones in the rooms didn’t work. Fine, we’ll use our cellphone to call and ask where to get ice. Went to bed early and the real disaster was in the morning when I woke up with bed bug bites on my arm and then found a hair in the sink that most certainly does not belong to us. Then, I opened up the shower curtain to find an absolutely filthy shower with hairs stuck to the wall. We also found a bud of ********* on the brown/green carpet (yes, it was a family vacation), so we know they don’t vacuum. We left the clothes we wore that night in the trash. We were told Management would call us and they haven’t bothered. It really doesn’t get much worse than this.

It's VERY close to Phipps Plaza...like pretty much connected. The hotel actually shares it's parking with the shopping plaza so it's definitely close. There's quite a few food options in the area too. The sleep quality was good- beds were comfy, room atmosphere was nice- as was the hotel overall. The hotel was clean, it even smelled clean, and was sleek and modern. It fit in well with the the ”upscale” feel of Buckhead and we enjoyed it. We'd stay again.

Upon arrival, they upgraded us to a 2 bedroom loft space with a kitchen...located in the back of the property, so it was quiet. As others have reported, the property is older but well maintained and clean. BUT the really star of the property is the STAFF!! Every single person we interacted with...whether to borrow a marker, request extra towels, replenish the free coffee, or speaking with the maintenance personnel...were so polite, so helpful and so nice to deal with. I would come back here to stay literally just for the STAFF. Not sure how they were able to hire an entire staff of pleasant people!

We spent 8 days in the hotel and it was wonderful. There is so much to do for everyone, in walking distance. The Aquarium, centennial park, civil rights museum, coca cola museum, restaurants and shopping. Its the best hotel breakfast Ive had in years. The hotel is clean and the staff is amazing. Ms. Ruby has the best hospitality I've seen. She knows you by name and always checks in to make sureyou have what you need. Ms Rhonda and Ms. Shamon do an awesome job with breakfast. The security guards and vallet are very friendly and attentive. The only downfall was slightly low water pressure in the bathrooms. Excellent overall experience and I would stay here again.

Go to Atlanta for the first time and attend the imaging USA conference. At that time, the hotel was chosen for the location, in the city center. From the hotel to CNN, Olympic Park, Ferris Wheel, Coca-Cola World, Aquarium, and the panoramic revolving restaurant sun dial, all within a few minutes walk, very convenient! The service attitude in the hotel is also very good, when you check in, you will also get 2 bottles of water and chocolate. Then, the room was better than I thought, although one person traveled, but because the double room was cheaper, it was booked in a double room. 😄 There is a big desk, it is very convenient to use a computer or something. Then open the window and just see the Ferris wheel outside, great. The whole room was clean and the bed was very comfortable! I am a very picky bed, but their beds are really good, and the quality of sleep is high these days. I have to praise that the original location shooting on the 21st, but because the day is super cold, I have to change to indoor shooting, and the hotel decoration is quite good, so I asked the hotel people can take pictures, they not only agree, but also bring I went to some high-level meeting rooms to assist us in shooting. And I lost an earring in the room and returned to the hotel. I found that the earrings on the table were in pairs. It can be seen that their cleaning staff is very responsible and careful. Very touched, I really feel that the service of this hotel is very friendly! highly recommended!
