We loved our stay at the Sweet and will for sure come back next time we visit Oslo. Located in a beautifully restored building from 1916. The apartments are fresh and new and decorated with care and love for the history of the building. It felt like walking into the past, but with all the modern facilities included. It had all you could wish for in an apartment, dishwasher, stove, fridge etc. Well equiped kitchen, generous sized rooms & lovely bed. We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment in the 2. Floor with 2 small balconies. Sound proof windows and AC. Area is quiet and safe, everything you need of shops and restaurants is just around the corner & there is easy access to the sights of Oslo. 5 min walk from the Royal Castle. Situated in a quiet street off the main street, but still with bus and trams on the doorstep. Top service both with the booking, key collection via sms instructions and check-out. No issues and swift replies both on email and sms. Bathroom was a bit on the small side, but fresh, and with all amenites needed. Highly recommended and this is a great alternative to hotel rooms if you need some more space and options for your stay, and the price range is approx the same as for the hotels in the area. Stay somewhere with an era and history included, to make your stay in Oslo special.

The Apartment was absolutely lovely. We had as a family communication of a change of accommodation 24 hours before our visit but this was not a problem at all. Checking in was simple and the service was excellent. We arrived at Odins Gate 10 and were thrilled with our accommodation. It was perfect for a family of four (two adults, two children) A lounge area, kitchen, two comfortable bedrooms and a good size shower room. This was ideal for our visit as we were busy being tourists during the day and relaxed in the evening. The accommodation was spacious for us all and extremely comfortable. the locality was excellent. A beautiful area of Frogner, Oslo with accessibility to the excellent transport system (bus and tram) within 100 metres of the building. Furthermore, a twenty minute walk into the centre of Oslo for the more energetic. A beautiful safe area to stroll around with a family. The service from Frogner House Apartments was excellent. Very welcoming, professional and courteous throughout our stay. Looking forward to staying again on our next trip to Oslo.

Myself and my girlfriend stayed for 2 nights on the 19/09/19. We arrived late and was allocated room 511. Room was very clean but basic, the maids work really hard it appears to keep this prototype so clean. Hair dryer was available but had to go to reception (no charge) and then return after use. The beds were very comfortable but we were given to single beds and had to push them together, also the room had no head rest rest so my pillows would sometimes fall off the bed. We had a big balcony which looked on to the Main Street outside the front of the hotel, we had great weather and the view was great. The bathroom was very clean and was more than enough of what we wanted for 2 nights. There is a hob which you can use to cook food but we did not do this but accessories are free to use from reception. The street that the hotel is on is a busy street and street noise is as expected especially on a Saturday night. The location is central. Turn right out of the hotel and go through the park and you can access the city centre there along with train stations and make your way down to the water and the trendy aryker Bruge (excuse the spelling) area. Would recommend and stay again.

I chose this hotel to consider that the second day of the tour was at the Sculpture Park, and it was only a ten minute walk. The hotel self-service is also very convenient. If you have any questions, you can call to communicate with the hotel. The hotel is very clean and the surroundings are very good.

We Oslo Apartments for three nights in late June 2018. The apartment we had was on the ground floor and was accessed from the carpark behind the apartments. (Apartment 111) The apartment had: 1. two good sized bedrooms (both with windows opening on to the street outside), 2. big kitchen (with all cooking and eating requirements (plates, cutlery, etc), coffee making facilities and small refrigerator. 3. large lounge room with TV with relaxing lounge and coffee table 4. reasonable sized bathroom with washing machine and 5. good storage areas. with ironing board and iron 6. Parking area ($) All up a good apartment for the three people we had in our party. That said, the rooms could do with a clean and a paint to pick it up. Note that the pick up place for keys is not in no. 1 Wergelandsveien but is in Holsberg Gate (opposite the convenience store which is in the Radisson Blu building). It took us an hour to find this!!!!! Why couldn't they get this right in the email??????

I stayed here for about a week in December for a work trip. The property has a convenient location for mass transit, food and shopping. The room was a little dated, but the bed was comfortable and I was pleasantly surprised by the heated floor in the bathroom. The bedroom floor is hardwood so everything has a tendency to slide around. I had a quiet (interior facing room) on the top floor of the property. While my room was right against the elevator I never heard it running. I was a little surprised that there was no iron in the room, but that there was an ironing room on the 5th floor. It was not a big deal and probably helped keep my room from feeling cluttered. The room had a large TV and a desk for working at -the lighting at the desk was not as bright as I would've liked. Breakfast in the morning was a great spread. The hotel is also very close to two 7-11's and when returning late at night it was convenient for a bottle of water.

If you are traveling, you may want to stay a bit closer to downtown. The location is good for me as it is close to my office. The room is big and clean. There is a little problem with the door lock but that is hardly a concern for me. The front desk people are very helpful and friendly. Check-in and check-out were quick. The choices of breakfast are quite limited and I think it's just OK, but it seems that's what normally served in Oslo so your mileage may vary. Overall a pleasant stay and would recommend it for everyone.

The location of the hotel is quite partial and it feels like a wilderness. When the North was not found, the locals in Oslo were very enthusiastic to give the road a shortcut, and they saw the hotel through the villa area of a forest park. If it weren't for the hotel in Oslo, Europe's most expensive city, the hotel would be so far away from the hotel! What are the reasons for us to feel free to do in the city? ! Fortunately, the hotel traffic is still convenient, there is a bus stop to go to the city about 50 meters away, but you must buy tickets in advance at the subway station or train station, otherwise you can not buy tickets on the train. The scenery around the hotel is not bad, very close to the sea, the room facilities are also good four-star standard.

Reasonably good hotel. More in tune with a younger customer. Rooms are basic(UK standard would be a Premier Inn). Breakfast is pretty impressive and the area location is good. Good food n drink hall next door. Staff are very helpful.... excellent. Reminder for non Nordics flying in to main airport.....avoid taxis at all cost. 30km cost us 1500 krona! Generally around £5 per mile!!!!!!

Pros: Good location, directly opposite the Central Railway Station. Within 10 minutes on foot. To catch the train in the morning, you can ask the hotel to pack a simple breakfast in advance. Disadvantages: There is a bad experience from the beginning of the booking, reminding everyone to pay attention to the deduction of the room rate, there may be more deductions, I was deducted hundreds of Norwegian kroner, suddenly the impression of the hotel is not good Later, I returned the money from Ctrip through Ctrip, but I lost a lot of dollars due to the exchange rate difference. This is the most expensive hotel in my trip, but the worst experience. The hotel itself is relatively old, there are many hotels near the train station, it is recommended that you can look at it and compare it.

The room won't be big enough to just carry luggage and walk. But it is very clean and tidy. The biggest selling point is actually the buffet breakfast! There are so many varieties, although I don't like to eat, but I can't deny that in the high price of Norway, this is definitely a hotel with high cost performance. In addition, if you go to the train station, take a taxi for 3 minutes, about 169 yuan, and take a taxi carefully. Walk 1.6 kilometers, about 20 minutes. 2 subway stations.

I stayed at the Clarion Hotel Oslo for 6 nights. What can I say? Wow. This was probably the most comfortable stay I have ever had. The room was impeccably clean. The staff were wonderfully polite, and spoke perfect English - which helped a lot. Breakfast was included, and was also multifarious & tasty. The interior design was modern and tasteful, the art was fantastic on the second floor, and the rooms were quiet and felt incredibly homely. 100% recommend, and will stay here again the next time I am in Oslo. BUT: the mini-bar is incredibly expensive. For example, £37 for 400ml of Chablis is TOO MUCH in my opinion! I could buy 4 bottles at home in Waitrose for that cost! Also, my USB charging ports did not work, but that wasn’t an issue as I had wall plugs.

We stayed here for 2 nights in February with my wife and 2 young children. Room space was great with a separate bedroom to the living area with a sofa bed (which is where my wife and I slept so to make the most of some hours to ourselves). Up on the 12th floor we had a great view of Oslo, however the room did get very warm, so we ended up turning the radiator down to zero which was just about ok. Rooms were clean and the team in reception were incredibly friendly, helpful and efficient. Great choice of food at breakfast, self made waffles were a nice touch also. Location of the hotel is very easy from the station and in fact as Oslo is not the hugest place in the world everywhere is walkable. I would be happy to stay at this hotel again in the future.

Hotel location is very good, next to the train station, the service is also very in place, I will set a person's bed is 20m2 big bed room, the result is told that it is a single bed room (the cheapest file only 15m2). Due to the midnight in China, the hotel also helped me upgrade in the spirit of people-oriented. This kind of thing is not the first time on the website. My friend used to have a similar thing overseas. It took a long time to get it done and delayed the trip. If the guest staying in English is not English, it is awful. I don’t know if the agent of the website is doing rough things or using this technique.

This hotel offered one of the weirdest experiences I have had with regard to holidays. I have never stayed anywhere like it and the experience was fantastic. This is a place that I will be rebooking for next year. Yes, it is sporty and the internal décor of the halls and public room make you feel that you are staying in a gymnasium or fitness club -but that should not be any surprise as even the name tells you this. The rooms are as they appear in the pictures: clean, tidy and although bit 'regimental' they are also comfortable, quiet and relaxing. The shower is superb and the rooms kept at a reasonable temperature. I would not change a thing - they have got it exactly right. Breakfast is served between 7 and 9 in a canteen style room. The buffet has a limited choice but a lot of what is on offer is vegetable and fruit based - ideal for vegans like myself. Coffee is excellent and free all day at any time. Almost everyone entering the canteen was younger and thinner than me by a long way but the atmosphere was positive and civil. The hallway down to the bedrooms is 'littered' with bicycles and sports shoes in the evenings but these only serve to enhance the 'sporty' ambience. You also have access to a gymnasium if you wish to make use of it. The place is set near a loch with wonderful walks around it and from there paths lead further into the hills and to other lochs. The loch itself has many runners, joggers, walkers and swimmers of all ages, shapes and sizes - some even wider than myself. The countryside around is stunning and the air fresh and water clear. The T-ban station is almost at the door of the hotel and takes only about 25 minutes to get you to town but I would recommend that you also take the walk into town (only about 1hr 20mins) as you get a good chance to see the local suburbs and the different ways people live in Norway. It is also good exercise!”

Norway is the country with the highest GDP per capita in the world, but this trip to Northern Europe is the most boring country in the city center. The location of the hotel is very good, right in the center of the old city, but the facilities are very simple. Not as good as a county hotel in China. The breakfast did not even have hot meals, and there was no water heater in the room. A plastic bag is hung on the door every morning, containing 2 ice-cold sandwiches and 2 bottles of orange juice. If you don't bring your own water heater, breakfast for guests with stomach problems will become the source of the disease. The TV in the room only has 2 Norwegian channels and there is no international news in English. I hardly believe that this is a hotel in the center of the capital where the Nobel Peace Prize was awarded. Oslo has many advertisements welcoming Chinese people to use UnionPay cards, and maps in Chinese. However, the arrangement of hotel facilities to cater to the habits of Chinese tourists is the worst in the Nordic countries, far inferior to Finland and Sweden. It makes people doubt the Viking countries, where are their competitive advantages today?

The hotel windows are very non-soundproof, as if lying on the street at night listening to others. The voices of cars and people were clearly heard. The room, especially the toilet, was too small. I felt that my face was buried in the sink while sitting on the toilet ... It couldn't stretch at all. It is also difficult to leave two suitcases in the room. This is an excellent property if you need a great central location whether for business or pleasure. It is economy level, but the kitchen is nicely furnished and the bed very comfortable. The biggest problem right now is the very heavy construction right in front of the entrance which prevents cars from pulling up. You should plan on bringing your own shower/hair toiletries as there is only one hotel-size bottle of shampoo and shower gel, and no routine resupply. The airport taxi service and grocery add-on services are recommended, and the billing handled effortlessly. Also, the on-line chat via their website is very good. We booked through VRBO and couldn't get a response through that channel. In general, an excellent location, but just don't expect the usual VRBO type stocked apartment.

You may come to experience, as we did, the breakfast- and evening meal- buffet out of food, sticky buffet floors, juice machines out of juice, spilled food and drinks onto the buffet (and more) without the staff tending to it. A snack on the floor of your hotel room may compensate for the lack of a hot evening meal as promised in the hotel advertising, but then again maybe not. However, if you enjoy a tomato-sauce based fish stew, there will be ample for you, as few others do. No vegetarian/vegan hot meal options for neither morning nor evening. How about a shower that also showers the whole bathroom? After which you can dry off with a brown-stained towel.. No towel provided for the wet and slippery floor, though. And of course; no complementary toiletries in this hotel. Note that upper-level staff do not wear the assigned face mask in the buffet-area nor otherwise. Guests have to provide their own masks or buy it at the reception although there's no information preparing guests for this. If you hang the 'Do not disturb' sign on your door chances are the hotel-room telephone will ring off the hook the whole day as the receptionist will want to know what you mean by that. If you cannot answer the phone because you're in an online meeting and thus must not be disturbed, it will be to no avail to turn the sign to 'please, clean my room' the next day as you were too busy to answer the phone the previous day about the 'do not disturb' sign pertaining to that day when the sign was out. If course, if you decide to say anything non-complimentary about any of this the hotel manager willingly regrets your perception of it all. Enjoy your stay somewhere else.
