Recently spent 9 nights at this hotel. This was a last-minute change from a planned Italian trip, so hadn't done much research before booking. I was in room 11, a standard double/twin room. The hotel has clearly been recently renovated, and to my untrained eye tastefully so. Room: by Parisian standards, larger than average. I could actually take 3 steps from end of bed to the bathroom entrance, which I have not been able to do in other Parisian hotels. Besides the bed, room had luggage rack, small desk, TV, and closet. There were plenty of electrical outlets. Wifi was fine--fast enough for a hotel and never dropped. TV had many non-French channels to choose from. My room faced the street, but there was effective sound-proofing so no street noise. You will here some internal noise from the hallway from other guests, but nothing out of the ordinary. Room was cleaned, and cleaned well, daily. Bathroom and shower are what you would expect in Paris (small when compared to some other cities) but functional. Hot water never ran out, shower water pressure was average. They do supply shower items (soap and such) but I did not use any of them. Breakfast: You're paying for convenience, but the selection was good--cereal, milk, yogurt, fruit, various breads, croissants and pain au chocolat, eggs that could be boiled, meat and cheese, juice and a coffee machine. It is the same every day, so no variation if you are there for several days. There was an espresso machine that was available during the rest of the day in the kitchen area, for which there was no cost. This was a nice feature. The small lounge area on the ground floor was inviting. Front desk staff: friendly, helpful, gave good advice for a local cafe (Le Cosy). There is someone at the desk at all hours. They do add to the friendliness of the place. Location: You will probably be taking public transport a lot. However, the hotel is located quite close (5-10 minute walk) to a large Metro/RER stop (Nation) and one smaller Metro stop (Picpus). Except for sites on the left bank, you will be a single quick Metro ride away from most sites using these two stops. As one example, I believe the trip on Metro Line 1 from Nation to either Louvre stop is about 12 minutes. My trip happened to coincide well with the Navigo weekly pass, and I used it extensively. To give you some idea of how much I used public transit, I used the pass for 33 trips during the week the pass was valid, including out and back to Versailles. Getting there: I took the RER B to RER A from CDG to get to the hotel. The connection between these two heading to the hotel from the airport is easy, despite being in the cavernous Chatelet Les Halles station--no stairs, same platform, easiest transfer you'll make while you're in Paris. Don't make the error I did and mistake Rue de Picpus (the wrong street) for Blvd de Picpus. I did some extra walking because of that! It was raining the morning I was going back to CDG, so

This was a lovely place to stay in Paris! The hotel and the location offered everything you needed as a traveller to make our stay comfortable, easy and very enjoyable. I appreciated the reasonable price for Paris and felt that we received a great value . What we loved: -The Location was ideal! Its right off the Place Nation metro station which is a hub station so you are steps away from any place in Paris. I cant tell you how convenient it is to access so many different metro lines without having to transfer, it made getting around the city so easy, this convenience is priceless! Also, Place Nation has so many cafes and restaurants to choose from so you can grab a quick coffee, have a lovely meal or take in the ambiance and the Parisian cafe culture (we recommend DALOU) and the neighborhood always feels safe at any time of night or day. There was a small epicerie open late just around the corner if you needed to pick up any items, a pharmacy and the Printemps department store, so if you forgot anything or needed to do some quick shopping for a last minute rain coat or replacement walking shoes its all right there. -Breakfast is served every morning downstairs, unfortunately it was raining during our stay so we did not have the experience of the lovely courtyard where they normally serve but we ate inside which was just fine. It was really great to have breakfast available, especially the first morning when you wake up jet lagged and hungry and just want some coffee and a croissant right away. The other mornings we had breakfast at the cafes close by and there is also an amazing boulangerie along Place Nation we highly recommend! The wonderful smells from this bakery in the morning is just heaven. -Our room overlooked the small street in front and was really quaint. Considering we were close to Place Nation it was not noisy and we were really comfortable. The neighborhood was really great and I always felt safe walking the streets back to the hotel from the metro even when we returned late at night. -The staff were always friendly and helpful, we had a really enjoyable stay! Things to keep in mind: -This is Europe so everything is a bit smaller than you might be used to, the room, the elevator the hallways, the bathroom...but that is just part of the experience and you should be ready to adjust your expectations accordingly while traveling in Europe. Our room was petite but clean and comfortable and had everything we needed! Merci for a lovely stay!

Paris 12 Hotel is in the 12th district, 200 meters from the entrance is Metro Line 1, and Line 1 is the main route of Paris attractions. There are T3a, T3b two trams around 300 meters, and Metro Line 6 is about 800 meters. Hotel room is relatively small, the bathroom can only be described with a mini, the small no words, the key is no elevator, the little girl luggage can only be called the front desk handsome guy to help, I lived for 8 nights breakfast variety every day, the hotel's health, etc. OK, it is a Samsung hotel, of course, can not compare with the domestic Samsung, from the cost-effective point of view, not pursuing luxury is okay. Said in the train station area of Bessi Lyon, but actually there are three subway stations from Lyon train station. There is a supermarket next to the hotel. It is quite convenient to buy what you eat.

A prepaid disaster ! For fairness, these features are acceptable: Wi-Fi, shower, and inclusive breakfast. For the rest ? Oh dear me ! Booked for a single room. Upon arrival at the bar below, as they are owned by the same person, he demanded I immediately paid the city tax, in advance ! This is the first time this has happened to me in over 50 stays in France in the past 20 years ! It was a sign of what I could expect - virtually nothing ! Given the entry codes for the outside door - as there is NO reception area - and for the 2nd floor room, I struggled up the stairs - no lift - on a very hot, sticky night . . . Room was a shock ! Part of the roof-space, it was an attic room with the ceiling sloping at 30 degrees from the horizontal, and dropping to a height of just 89 cms from the laminated floor, at the external wall ! Worse, a hard edge transverse beam went across the whole bedroom, and above the washbasin and toilet, at a height of just 168 cms from the floor . . ! So, if you are taller than 168 cms, expect to crack your head when using the bathroom, or when standing just halfway into the bedroom from its entrance door ! The next horror was discovering where I could unpack my clothes ? Answer : on a line of 4 coathooks, suspended fom the top of the entrance door ! That was it ! No wardrobe and no shelves ! And to hang anything on said coathooks covers the " In case of fire" emergency notice ! The place was horrifically hot, only one bedroom light and one bathroom light worked ( room 204), and the fan wouldn't work as it needed water in it (!) and there was no utensil in the bathroom with which to pour any water ! The only ventilation came from two ( velux-type) flush fitting roof windows, although in the poor lighting - it was after 10.30pm when I arrived in the room - I was unable to see how to open the bedroom one until morning ! A proper hotel would provide a welcome booklet, or even just a laminated sheet, giving useful information and contact numbers. But Hotel Le Daly's is NOT one of those, so there is no such information provided in the room ! Completely fed up, I called the booking agency, who tried that night, and again the following day, to get a refund from the owner so that I could be re-booked elsewhere. But no, the owner refused that, but promised to buy a hanging-rail for me, and to move me to the only one of five attic rooms to have a (vertical) dormer window ! (He also claimed he couldn't offer me a 1st floor room - called "superior" by him as they actually have standing headroom by all 4 walls - as they were fully booked during the 11 day period of my stay.) On day 3 of my stay, he provided me with a portable hanging-rail, with 5 coat hangers, and on day 4, upon my insistence, he allowed me to move into the ONE attic room with the dormer window ( room 201). Other gripes : although the rooms were serviced most days, mine wasn't for the 72 hours from the Friday until the following Monday. Furthermore, the laminate

The hotel is very close to metro station Porte de Montreuil/Maraichers. I've booked a room with a private bathroom, because they do have some rooms with shared bathroom as well. Unfortunately, the room was located on the 6th floor and they do not have an elevator. So, please, be aware that in case you have huge bags - the way to the room is quite challenging :D The room itself didn't have AC, it was a small one (usual thing in Paris). The room itself looked neat, but I had a feeling like it wasn't clean as it should be. The smell from the nearby cafes is coming into your room in case you are going to open the window for some fresh air. It's worth the money we paid for 1 night.

Our family of 4 visited along with another friend so we split apartments. We wanted to cook our evening meals and did so successfully. The apartments we had were very well suited to two people and very comfortable. The property is some distance from the major tourist sites but very accessible through the Metro. If you are happy to trade travelling time for cheaper costs then this is a good option. We felt very safe in this area. Being a new property everything was clean and in great condition although a little more information on how to operate the appliances would have been useful. The staff were super friendly and encouraged me in the use of my incredibly limited French. Breakfast was included with our room rate and was all that we needed each day and left us feeling ready for the day ahead. Plenty of supermarkets and places to eat nearby and handy to the Metro although that line was not running while we were there. We had no problems using taxis etc in the area. This property was value for money in our opinion and we would stay there again as a base for our Paris travels.

Hotel Terre Neuve is located in the 11th Arrondissement. The district is a bustling residential neighborhood featuring many ethnic restaurants as well as four nearby grocery stores (rooms have a refrigerator). It’s a 5 minute walk from the Alexandre Dumas metro stop (the Avron stop is a tad further away) on the number 2 line. The metro and two bus lines make it well connected to just about everything else in Paris. The hotel appears to be recently renovated and the spotless rooms come in three sizes. We chose the intermediate sized room which, while still small, is well thought out with all the amenities correctly placed. That said, you may get annoyed that the bathroom door hits the bed and the door to the relatively large shower stall hits the toilet. That shouldn’t be the case in the largest room size. The beds are comfortable though not the pillows. The air conditioning and WiFi are flawless. The reception is staffed at all times so late check-in is possible. There is no elevator so the only easily accessible rooms are on the ground floor, which I would not recommend due to noise. Rooms facing the away from the street are much quieter and the view is not substantially different than those facing the street. I’ve seen prepaid daily rates as low as 70 USD. We paid 78 USD for a cancellable rate which I consider a steal for a hotel of this caliber in Paris. Hotel Terre Neuve hits all the right notes at a remarkably low price. It’s well worth considering.

We spent three days in the hotel, in a 'family suite' - two separate rooms that share a small hall. Very friendly personnel. The rooms are small, but that's Paris of course. Breakfast buffet is OK, but not a lot of choice. Close to the Porte de Montreuil metro stop on line 9 that brings you to the centre of Paris in 20 minutes or less. There are a lot of nice restaurants in the neighbourhood. Close to the Père Lachaise cemetery. The 20th arrondissement is quickly becoming a bohémien hotspot.

The neighborhood is very filthy I do not recommend walking around for safety reasons. Has 1 dechatlon shop and 1 carrefour very close. The room is big and clean. If you are driving you have plenty of free street parking from 9 am to 8 pm. The cleaning lady came into my room with a sign of no disturbance I did not like this fact because I had money and valuables in the room, everything was there but it was not good !

Stayed here for 2 nights for my wife’s birthday. What a lovely little hotel, the staff are amazing and made us feel very welcome, it is in a great location, if you like walking you can walk all the way in to Paris seeing so many sights along the way, or the metro is literally in your doorstep, 15 mins away on the 9 route to the Eiffel Tower. The rooms were small but very comfortable and it was nice to be welcomed on both evenings to share a nice glass of french wine and nibbles provided by the staff. The staff were always on hand to offer recommendations for places. Thank you for making our stay such a memorable one. Will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Grand Hotel Dore for six nights in September 2019 because it was included in a Groupon package. We were a bit unsure of what to expect, but this hotel far exceeded our expectations and was a charming place to stay. The Grand Dore is not in the historic center, but it takes only a few minutes to ride to the center via two metro lines available at a Metro stop less than a block away from the hotel. The hotel's surrounding neighborhood has the appearance and amenities of central Paris, but without the noise and congestion. The hotel itself is immaculate and up-to-date. The rooms are compact but not tiny, and have comfortable beds, ample armoires, and contemporary bathrooms (ours had a shower). Our continental-style breakfast was included and offered coffee/tea/milk, hard/soft-boiled eggs, fresh fruits, cereals, fresh pastries, bread and preserves, etc., with real plates and silverware (no plastic or paper!). As with many Paris hotel elevators, this one is small; but it's also speedier than any other hotel elevator we've encountered in Paris. The hotel staff was friendly and knowledgeable, spoke English flawlessly, and was patient with us when we tried our inadequate French on them. We've already recommended the Grand Hotel Dore to friends.

The hotel location is very good, very close to the Arc de Triomphe, a five minute walk to the subway station can also take a direct bus to and from Charles de Gaulle and Orly Airport. Facilities breakfast also fully reached the four-star standard, the gym is relatively small. The front desk is more enthusiastic. There is a little brother who can speak Chinese, which makes communication more convenient.

Stayed at the B&B hotel for three nights while visiting Disney. Anyone looking for a cheap place to stay this is perfect. Hotel is spotlessly clean, really friendly staff, good sized rooms with comfortable beds and shower room. The hotel serves a simple dinner of pasta or pizza which is great, easy to order and quick to come. Breakfast is simple but just want you need at the start of the day. Tables were cleared quickly and everything very clean and presented well. We were worried about the shuttle overcrowding but there are a few services which only run from the B&B hotel and others which go to the other four hotels on the complex which makes it easy. We always got on a bus even if it was busy and never had to wait long! Lockers are available to store luggage if your arrive before your room is ready or check out early. We will be back on our next disney trip!

For the first time in a hotel model, the century-old building is said to be a historical cultural relics protection unit in Paris, so it is completely banned. My old cigarette can only smoke in a small yard. Miss Luo is very enthusiastic, let us have the feeling of going home. There is a black guy in night shift who speaks Chinese very well. He said that he read a book in Guangzhou. In the morning, the girl named Marty also speaks Chinese. There is no problem at all, and at the same time give us a lot of advice on the tour, much stronger than those that are not reliable. It is very convenient to exit the subway 50 meters away. This area is a safe place for French people to live in. The room is big enough to be the floor-to-ceiling glass window in Europe. Our bedroom is very close to the yard, so the living room is a bit noisy. It is highly recommended to add a Chinese breakfast. It is really not suitable for those cheese breads, and it is better to have Chinese TV. If you have the opportunity to come back to Paris, you will still come to the Paris Residence.

Good location, nearby Carrefour, franprix and other supermarkets! I live on the 2nd floor facing the street, and it is very quiet at night, but the sound insulation between the room and the room is really average. The room is not large and has a balcony (not every room, so it is best to leave a message to tell the room with a balcony when booking) ), There is also a door in the bathroom sharing a balcony with the room, so the balcony is quite large. The hotel only provides shampoo, shower gel and hair dryer. Slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, so it is recommended to bring your own toiletries. Lines 7 and 10 are only 5 minutes' walk from the surrounding area. Line 4 is about 15 minutes away. The 5th district is a Latin area, surrounded by universities, so it is safe! The hotel has access control locks, staff need to help open the door to enter! Breakfast is an ordinary western-style breakfast, bread, milk, eggs, oatmeal, sausage and cheese. A tax of 1.88 euros per person per night, which must be paid to the front desk when checking out. This Ctrip will also call you when you are in China to inform you that this tax must be paid to the hotel separately! The hotel provides free wlan, but the Internet speed is average, the room has air conditioning and heating. In short, the price is high!

We got a beautiful Junior Suite with Balcony, even in the city and on a street with traffic located, it was very quiet and you couldnt hear anything from outside while the doors are closed. It is very spacious and with a very pretty bathroom with luxury amenities from Hermés! And of course full equipped mini bar with Nespresso coffee machine. The breakfast is delicious and a mix from a la carte and buffet, what I love. So you can have everything what your heart desire. The best is the amazing Akasha Spa!! It is so big and has everything, big indoor pool, big sauna, big steam bath, big jacuzzi and a cold bath. Even if they are many relax beds to lay on, sometimes you are just alone and its like you have a private spa. Friendly and helpful staff all around the hotel! I definitely will return!
