3.01km from Trattoria FasoloThe hotel is fine although some defects may be observed in it. Its situation is excellent. It lies in a quiet street with hardly any traffic in the center of the city of Padua, therefore at a few steps from the most interesting monuments of that city particularly Sta. Justina church and the church of St. Anthony. The bedroom I was allocated as a whole isn’t in fact very comfortable. It’s too narrow and nowhere in the room there are any sockets at sight into which for example the mobile phone could be plugged for recharging the battery. The only socket available was that in which the TV set was plugged. It’s located at a low level behind the desk so that the latter must be shifted in order to use the mentioned socket, what, given the weight of the desk, implies a considerable effort, the more so if the small size of the room is taken into account. It was therefore rather hard to ascertain the existence of other sockets by the aforesaid one. Besides, there was no table lamp on the desk. Therefore it could just be used at daytime for writing or reading unless one wished to take the risk of getting a hard headache. Apart from those nuisances it must be admitted that the bed was comfortable, the mattress having the perfect hardness to assure a good sleep. That room was, by the way, very peaceful, what no doubt is also essential for sleeping in the best possible conditions. In accordance with what I requested, it’s located at the end of a corridor so that one hardly hears any voices or other noise made by people walking towards their respective bedrooms. The bathroom is also quite proper for the functions one may expect of it. The staff members are kind especially a Brazilian bloke who was working at the front desk upon my arrival. He was very kind and diligent, and even helped me to park the car on the right place and he himself unloaded my baggage off my car luggage rack. The gentleman working at the breakfast room at breakfast time was also helpful. The breakfast was good. There was everything needed in the buffet to eat the sufficient quantity of food so as not to feel hungry until dinner time. Everything there was of a high quality particularly the fruits which were very fresh and savoury as well as the pastry; the croissants for instance being tasty and crunchy on the outside but soft in the middle. The orange juice was also very good. By and large therefore, it’s a hotel where one may have a good stay as long as he doesn’t need any sockets in the bedroom. If it were not the case it would then be advisable to consider carefully aqny possible booking in the hotel concerned before actually proceed in that sense.
