The hotel is average. The room is quite big, and the bed is comfortable. I didn't try the breakfast, so I don't know whether the food is good. The shortcoming is that the hotel is a bit far from the subway station. The cost performance is good.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The room had a king bed and a single rollaway bed, was kind of disappointed with the rollaway as it was literally floor level. The room had a small balcony which was a nice touch. It is also equipped with a tv where you can change the language to English and a mini fridge, also an area to store your clothes and suitcases. The bathroom was good stocked with soaps shower gels and shampoos. We arrived here after our check in time so we got checked in straight away and was told the way to our room. The room lock was a little stuck but we managed in the end. The staff were very nice and welcoming. The breakfast was to a good standard including savouries and sweets (more sweet though) However the AC did not work so we slept with the balcony door open. We forgot to ask at reception every time we went down so we compromised and had the door open instead. The hotel is a short bus ride from Milan centrale station. And it is a short walk to Milan nord bovisa train station which has a train that goes directly to Milan Malpensa airport. So that was extremely handy. The nearest supermarket is quite a walk away and I wouldn’t recommend it as the roads were quite scary when it was dark. There is a small little convenience store where you can purchase public travel tickets from. Overall a good hotel, pleasant stay, nice staff, good breakfast and in a good enough location.

After 2 hours of check-in, I requested (very politely - to not cause any inconvenience to the team) to change the room as it smelt smokey(embedded cigarettes & a strong breeze of cigarettes coming from somewhere). Request was ignored (I recorded the staff speaking Italian & used translator to understand what they were saying as the woman turned aggressive). I suffered really bad breathing for 2 nights, severe headache for 2 days due to inhaling the smell both nights. Noise level in the hotel was unbelievable. I requested a 'quiet room' upon booking - BAD MISTAKE! We could hear every footstep - people walking across the landing. People walking and running back and forth the stairs and hallway. Guests in the rooms above and adjacent. There is absolutely NO soundproofing. At one point I woke up in a fright thinking people came into our room - it was so clear & loud. 2nd night guests were running around like as though it was a circus. Screaming, laughing and running around the hotel during the night, smoking wherever they pleased. 3am till 8am guests were smashing stuff in the room above, moving around the furniture non-stop, banging on the walls, having a party with non-guests (bringing in girls), jumping out of the window (onto a flat ceiling which makes it level to our room). The staff were VERY unprofessional (even before arriving to the hotel). New (COVID) curfew & certain closures of shops had been enforced the day before our arrival in Italy/Milan itself. I called the hotel the morning of our check-in to get more details - really unhelpful receptionist who told me everything was normal and to just come and then they will advise us what we can/cannot do. WRONG INFORMATION. Major shopping centres were closed (the only reason we were coming, luckily I got precise information elsewhere which enabled us to rearrange plans) The evening staff do not speak English. Upon check-out staff member didn't acknowledge my complaint, no apology or empathy to the situation. Surprised?

Worst customer service ever - and worst over all experience in my entire life. In association with Agoda, this hotel made a double reservation in our name. We tried to reserve a room at Hotel Corallo. After putting in all of our informations including our credit number, we were told that there had been a mistake and that the reservation had been cancelled. Therefore we tried to book the room again using another credit card, since the reservation had been cancelled the first time. After we put in all of our informations again and used another credit card we were told that we got through and that the reservation was confirmed. However after a couples of minutes we received not one but TWO confirmations on rooms at the hotel in Milan. So the hotel has withdrawn money from both of our accounts which means we now have to pay double the price of the room at the hotel, and we only need one room, which also is exactly what we booked!!! The hotel refuses to do anything about the situation - and the customer service is very rude and keep interrupting whenever we speak over the phone!!! Also he speaks very condescendingly. Stay far away from Hotel Corallo! They will do what ever it takes to scam you from your money!!!
Hotels Near Trattoria Il Caminetto In Milan Review
Fortunately, the waiter helped me carry the luggage. There are two narrow steps into the room, which is quite difficult to cross. The location is very good. There is a subway 200 meters away. It is convenient to travel by subway in Milan. I have been in Italy for ten days and finally visit a big city.
Me and my wife stayed here for 2 nights over Valentine’s Day. We arrived early at 11am and were allowed to check in! All staff spoke perfect English and were friendly and welcoming. Our room was perfectly fine and overlooked the street. All the main public transport lines are literally across the road so no trouble getting anywhere. The room has a minibar with reasonable prices, fresh towels and toiletries all provided. We didn’t sample the breakfast so cannot comment on that. Oh and a highlight is across the road from the hotel is the Lamborghini showroom!
Convenient location, around 10 minutes from the Milano Centrale Train station. Its inside of a big street with a lot of shops, restaurants and supermarkets. Capsule rooms are decent in size and clean. Heating works properly in the rooms. Expect a fair amount of noise as the capsule is made of thin metal so you can hear banging sounds. Bathrooms are big in size, and clean. If you have your own washing liquid, you can use the washer dryer for free. You also get a welcome drink when you move in. If you are under 27,you dont have to pay the city tax, just to let you know. Overall, it was worth the price and the staff are very helpful.
Hotel location is very good to find, from the Central Railway Station to the hotel walk 7 or 8 minutes, is also very close to the subway station, the hotel is listed four-star standard, unlocked with the key, the key can be stored at the front desk, there is a small elevator. The standard room can accommodate a bed for children and adults. This is the same as the country, the room is very clean, the pillow is very comfortable, and the bathroom has a small yellow duck. The room we stayed in was carrying a small road. The car was not too noisy, it was acceptable, the room was soundproof, and the room where we lived could not stop the sound of the corridor. Hotel breakfast is very rich, if you like Western food, you can definitely satisfy your appetite. Our 7-year-old child has no charge for breakfast. The staple food is cake mousse sliced bread horns can be loose, hot milk, tea, coffee, water, fruit is super rich, red Pomelo, cantaloupe, pineapple, orange, saint fruit, and fruit fishing. Breakfast 6:30-11:00, we eat late in the morning, two meals a day, save time to eat more. Bathing hot water is enough, it is slower in the shower room, but it is okay. There are many restaurants around the hotel that are Western food. There are retail outlets on the train station that can buy water or souvenirs. The water is cheaper than other places, 1.5L 2 Euro. This is really good, cost-effective, it is recommended
Lovely hostel in a terrific location (about 10 minutes by foot from the Duomo of Milan) and very reasonably priced. The room and bathroom were clean and modern. Breakfast was served with social distancing measures, and the staff were really nice and friendly! Grazie mille!
Milan is an expensive city, yet this Hotel is very reasonably priced. A family hotel for more than 100 years, the furniture and art reflects an eclectic collection built over the generations. My daughter and I found it quite charming and delightful. Our twin room was a good size, with excellent air conditioning and chilled sparkling and spring water refreshed in the room each day. Expresso coffees will be made by staff on request at any time, and there is also a bar on site. The bathroom in our room included a full bath and had excellent lighting. The complimentary breakfast provided was a generous spread. We requested soy milk for our coffee on the first morning we attended breakfast (due to allergies) and as none was available we quite happily drank our fresh coffees black. Without requesting, the next day soy milk was on the menu! The hotel is a convenient walk to the metro and the tram stops right outside the door. It took about 20 minutes to get to the Duomo Cathedral. This is not a luxury hotel, nor does it pretend to be. The staff were very friendly, helpful and we will return.
The hotel on a business trip is not bad. There is an Italian restaurant opened by the Chinese. Walk to the pavilion for 10 minutes and walk to Citylife for about 20 minutes. The hotel lobby has a Chinese style, with water and sweets in mind. Breakfast is 19 euros, and the discount is 15 euros, so it is expensive. Check out to 5 euros one person's city tax, the payment still has to pay, a good choice for a special period.
I liked the cozy atmosphere of the decoration and furniture. Really nice idea. The continental breakfast is pretty good. Everything was clean and good managed. The personal i can describe as attentive and polite, that is really important.
This is the most comfortable hotel I have stayed in this week in Europe! The service is very good! Hotel location is also very good! Going out is the famous street! If you still go to Milan, you will still live here! Old building, enthusiastic staff!
1. It is more than 2 kilometers from Milan Cathedral, you can walk to see the street view all the way. 7,800 meters from the nearest subway station, more than 1 km from the car rental point, there is a supermarket nearby, about 200 meters, in short the hotel location is OK, outside the ZTL traffic restricted area
2. There is a parking space at the door, which can be temporarily parked to unload luggage;
3. Breakfast is average, Italian standard;
Insufficient: The room was small.
Generally speaking, the first day of the trip to Italy landed in Milan. If you want to live comfortably, we don't recommend this.
Breakfast is good. The location is ok, 5 minutes walk from the subway station, 15 minutes by subway to the center of Milan Cathedral. The hotel's room reservation department and lobby reception gave zero points, bad reviews! Due to the wrong date of a room, I contacted the hotel before Ctrip and wanted to change the time. No refund was required, but the hotel kicked the ball to Ctrip several times. After the hotel, I continued to fool, saying that Ctrip had not contacted the hotel for changes. The date of stay. However, I am willing to believe that Ctrip, Ctrip's communication service and attitude are very satisfactory, and I would like to give special praise to the customer service. I feel that this hotel has a completely different attitude towards Booking and Ctrip. I hope Ctrip is more powerful in international status! When people say that they are different through Ctrip's attitude, this feeling is super unhappy, I want to continue to support Ctrip! Never stay in this hotel in the future
The best hotel to stay in Italy, although not the momentum and standards of five-star hotels, but the service facilities are good, very satisfied. [Location] 10 minutes walk from the Central Railway Station, 5 minutes walk from the nearest subway line 1 station, there are some restaurant bars downstairs, and Carrefour walks in 5 minutes. [Room] is a lot bigger than the 16 flats I imagined. I don't feel forced, and the hot water in the bathroom is very stable. [Breakfast] is very rich, and you can have a meal until the afternoon. [Service] The front desk is free to help print the documents, and check-out at 12 o'clock is great!
Hotel muito bom por um preço justo! Atendimento excelente. Muito limpo. Local do estacionamento um pouco distante caso haja necessidade. Cafe da manha acima da media de hotéis da mesma categoria. Banheiro do quarto padrão é muito bom. Em minha opinião, é um hotel altamente recomendável.
Breakfast was on the first floor, not on the top of the building. During the stay, the hotel was renovated. Work started at 8 am. It was very noisy. The hotel apologized for giving a bottle of champagne. Very quiet at night!
it was a very pleasant stay. The staff was super friendly and were 24/7 available to help or guide in any way. Also, breakfast was a very nice and affordable option you could have! Definitely, a good choice! Grazie a tutti!
Hotel location is good, very close to the Milan Central Railway Station, but the hotel is relatively old, the soundproofing is very poor, knocking on the door opposite to knocking on the door, was awakened in the middle of the night. Travel is more suitable, travel is convenient, there is a Chinese restaurant next to it, it tastes good
The hotel is outside the ZTL restricted area, but close to the subway, convenient to travel, the surrounding supermarkets, restaurants are very close, in fact, there is time to walk slowly to the Finzi Museum, Milan Cathedral, all the way to see the sights, but also feel For a local life, there is free parking and it is suitable for self-driving travel.
Firstly excellent location a 10 minute walk from Romolo metro station. Hotel is immaculate in all areas, very generous single room and a shower that would drown you it is so good. Slept well in a quiet room with good ventilation. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and a nice top floor location overlooking the rooftops. Also only a 20 minute walk to canal side restaurants and bars. Finally, amazing staff - helpful and really friendly. Very pleased and would not hesitate to recommend.
Hotel location is good, 1-2 minutes walk to subway station. The service was super good: the brother at the front desk was very enthusiastic and gave us roses; when we returned to the room at night, we put slippers by the bed and gave us small sweets. Clean and sanitary, but the facilities are a bit dated, and the rooms on the side of the road are a bit noisy, but it did not affect my staying experience. Recommended!
Great hotel, but definitely not the best. Compared to ***darin Oriental Milan we stayed last year, this hotel really has a long way to go. Especially the service of the lounge cafe and the restaurant need to be improved a lot.
The hotel is average. The room is quite big, and the bed is comfortable. I didn't try the breakfast, so I don't know whether the food is good. The shortcoming is that the hotel is a bit far from the subway station. The cost performance is good.
Sounds like home away from home. Super cosy, yummy food and really warm welcome. The spaces are extra clean, plus it looks amazing! We had a great night at the karaoke night as well. Everything had exceeded our expectations.
Very good very good! Convenient location, suitable for children to play, suitable for couples to travel, breakfast is very good! There is a parking lot! It is a hotel worth living again! Continue next time!
My daughter and I visited Hotel Oro Blu for the first time last October. Since then we have been back three times. We chose this hotel because it is located right at the metro station to go downtown to the city center/Duomo and has parking in the building attached to the hotel. The first time we stayed at a hotel closer to the center but it is a nightmare to drive in the center and it is forbidden to drive on some of the streets. So for us it is better to have easy access to parking and the metro and not have to deal with the crazy driving in the center. Hotel Oro Blu also has larger than average rooms for hotels in Milan so there is plenty of room for luggage, The beds and pillows are very comfortable. There is cute bar next door. But the main reason we keep returning is the staff at Hotel Oro Blu. Everyone from the front desk managers to the maids have been kind and helpful. Especially one front desk manager Matteo who makes us feel welcome every time we arrive welcoming us back and helping us with our luggage. They really make an extra effort to help make your stay as comfortable as possible. For example, one time the ice maker was out of ice so they ran next door to the bar and filled up an ice bucket for me. We are already looking forward to our next trip to Milan and Hotel Oro Blu!
We were picked up directly from the airport to the hotel at about 8 pm. The door was very small. The front desk was very enthusiastic after entering. The hotel felt that the equipment was very old. That machine was broken ... and then I kept repairing the machine until it took me 30 minutes! Because I wasn't sure if the card could be used, I asked a little brother to accompany me, and said that if it wasn't available, let the little brother come down and change it for me. Sure enough, I couldn't open it.
This card is a big bug. I returned to the hotel late the next night. This card has been unable to open the door. We live on the 3rd floor. Go down and get the magnetic card strip to open the door again. No, go downstairs, just back and forth 4 times! The last time I asked her to accompany me directly! If not, I won't go on! It's okay to drive!
Breakfast at this hotel is OK Eggs Bacon, Fruit Bread! Both yogurt! The fruit is the same for three days! There are only two coffee machines, and one is always broken! As many people arrive, the coffee machine lined up! The place to eat breakfast is a bit small. It is crowded after 8:30, and many people have nowhere to sit! My mother and I rushed to eat to give up seats!
Very close to the subway purple line, 6-8 minutes walk away!
There are also some pizza shops and small supermarkets opened by individuals, and there are also pharmacies opposite!
The hotel room is small, the beds are small and too soft, but the air conditioning is nice and warm! We arrived at the end of November, it was raining, it was cold, and the hot water was good!
This hotel is very poorly soundproofed. My mother and I were able to sleep well, even if the sound of the corridor was very loud in the middle of the night!
The hotel is in a typical old Milanese house, which is quite unusual and therefore interesting for tourists. The reception is at the first floor (there are about 10 steps you can't avoid at the very entrance, so careful if you have very heavy luggage. no clue if there's a system for wheelchairs or strollers). The elevator is a bit small (again, old Milanese style!), but without luggage you don't have to wait for it all the time, since the stairs run just around it. The location is fairly handy, the street quiet and the room (4th floor) was surprisingly silent. A bit small, and the bathroom, without the window, was slightly stinking. Not pretty, but handy terrace facing the main road. We had a good room service with new toiletries and clean towels every morning. The reception is open 24/7. If the prices were lower, it would gain a 4th star.
Service is okay, there is a bit of desolation around. Breakfast is average! There is parking. There is a small outdoor swimming pool and a small gym! There is a piece of grass where children can run and play. The location is a bit off. The most important thing is that the cleaning staff came in without knocking on the door and swiping the card. Two times in two days! Be sure to hang the Do Not Disturb sign outside! Door lock in room
Useless! You can come in even if locked! There is no sense of security without chain locks!
The front desk staff is very welcoming. The equipment is very complete, although it is a little small but basically can meet the space requirements. Clean and very good.
