I chose this hostel because of its proximity to the location of a training course I attended. The hostel has single and double rooms, they are clean, spacious and with very comfortable beds and pillows. Always clean bathrooms. The staff is very kind, nice and very helpful. The room and bed were clean and comfortable, the bathroom spotless. The hotel is located in the outskirts of the city center but it is very convenient if one is traveling by car. To arrive to downtown one needs around 15 minutes on foot. Fine for us. One can see that it had been a very elegant place, unfortunately right now needs renovation. Some things of our room were not in good condition. The heating system was not working properly but fortunately the people from the reception sent someone to fix it. We had too a little inconvenient with some kids that were making a lot of noise making it impossible to sleep. Again the problem was solved. It would say that the most outstanding offer of the hotel is the helpfulness and friendliness of some people in the reception area .There is a guy who is fantastic and I am so sorry that I can’t remember his name. The breakfast was ok. Investing some money to renovating it would be a fantastic idea!!!

Hotel Best western palace inn Ferrara The hotel is located 25 minutes walking from the railway station and around 40 minutes walking from the center of the city.  There is a bus station nearby -bus nr. 6 will help you to reach the town, but is an easy pleasant path to follow to the town. Nearby there is a Lidl and Aldi supermarket. Just you exist the hotel there is a steakhouse, quite crowdy in the evening. The staff and the reception is very helpful. You will find a water machine that you can use for free to fill in your bottle. Coffee and tea will wait you in the room. The breakfast is very good. A lot of fruits, good coffee and a lot of sweets. A vegetarian also has options. The rooms are comfortable. If you do not mind the distance to the center then is definitely a good option.  On the way to the town you will find another steak house Wild west on the left- very close and on the right a all you can eat asiatic restaurant. Parking available at the hotel. Free wi Fi. City tax should be paid extra the room fee.

This is luxury accommodation in a beautifully renovated 16th or 17th C palazzo at very reasonably tariff. The hotel is in a convenient location a 15 minute walk from the Castello Estenese and Duomo. The furniture in the public spaces is high quality antiques. I especially noted the stair landing with three ”grandfather”clocks. The dining rooms for prima colazione are of an elegance that I suspect was carried over from its former life as a palazzo di una famiglia importante. My room on the top floor was done in rather feminine style and had its own little spiral staircase up to it's dormer window with views over gardens behind the hotel. It was extremely comfortable and tranquil. The staff at reception were engaging and charming. They were able to direct me one morning to a are school supply shop where I was able to purchase two of the flattish and spacious briefcases that Italian primary and middle school pupils use for thir books and supplies instead of too heavy back packs. I have only seen these in Italy. The staff had to do some research and they did it quite well. I would not hesitate to recommend Duchessa Usabella Hotel to anyone with discerning taste who is visiting Ferrara

We stayed at the hotel for 1 week. Our experience with Radisson hotels is big, we stayed in different ones but Radisson Ferrara was something special! Clean, light and warm. Relatively close to many destinations like Venice, Bologna, Verona and even San Marino (just 1h 50 min drive). The restaurant positively surprised us with tasty food and a good selection of wines. But I would like to especially mention our waiter - Ionel. He’s a very kind, knowledgeable and positive person who served us all week long. He always knows what to offer us from the wines as an addition to the food, what kind of places to see around the hotel and was always ready to help with everything. Thank you, Ionel! Additional thank you to Amira for the morning coffee to three of us!

Buona sistemazione in questo 4 stelle centrale, con camere silenziose nella bella città di Ferrara. Arrangiamento in letto comodo, con angoli di abbondanza anche se la pianta dell'abitazione non risulta grandissima. Armadio capiente e attrezzato con safetybox e stampelle sufficienti. Angolo ristoro fai da te (caffè, tè, zucchero) e frigobar. Magari una coperta in più, oltre ad un terzo cuscino, non guasterebbe. Ce ne siamo accorti quando ormai eravamo a letto. Buona comunque la climatizzazione in questi rigidi mesi invernali, almeno qui. Il personale attento e gentile. Colazione di buon livello, con la possibilità di un caffè o cappuccino espressi e inclusi. Hall spaziosa con divani e una vasta area libera che conferisce a questa struttura rimembranze da Grand Hotel. Tornerei.

The pleasure of staying in this beautiful city was enhanced by this delightful hotel. It could not be more central. The welcome was always warm and friendly, my single room a very good size with a comfortable bed and the establishment kept at a very cosy temperature during a chilly week. The breakfast was splendid with good gluten-free provision, and over all I felt the stay was exceptional value. It was comforting and relaxing to come back here at the end of a day being a dutiful tourist!

I stayed for several nights and found the room to be very comfortable and spacious, ideal for more than a one night stay. There is an Annex with sofa bed and TV (not HDMI capable) , fridge and hanging space. The bathroom is well equipped and the shower was excellent. Breakfast was basic but standard for Italy. There is no lift so be expected to carry your bags and if you struggle with stairs this isn't for you. The room was cleaned every day and the cleaner provided extra bottled water and cutlery on request, she was very friendly. The hotel location is the best in Ferrara as far as I'm concerned. You are next to 2 excellent restaurants and 30 seconds from the main piazza. Parking is about 5 minutes away and approx € 20 per night. The hotel overall was ideal for my needs and I would recommend to anyone stayin in Ferrara

No one arrived at the hotel during the off-season. I called and came right away. I can speak English. The room was not hot enough (it was actually cold) and the facility was new. It is estimated that all issues are the cause of the off-season. I'm sorry, this city is not very international.

Overall OK, the hotel is located in the city, the staff is very professional and polite. One thing is that the sound insulation effect is really bad, the upstairs room can hear a coin on the floor, not to mention the closing sound, the corridor abnormal noise. Still recommended.
