I have not had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, but I can't say enough good things about the customer service I recently received. My husband and I booked a night at the Verb hotel through groupon to stay after attending a concert at the House Of Blues. With the recent coronavirus outbreak our show was canceled and many area attractions were shut down. On our groupon it states that no refunds would be made to reservation canceled after the 4 day mark. I call the Verb and spoke to Joey in reservation. He was understanding of the situation and very accommodating. While he was not able to issue us a refund for the money, he was able to provide us with a "gift certificate" good for the amount to be used any time in the next 7 years. With the level of customer service I received, especially from Joey, I look forward to using my gift certificate! Good customer service goes a long way, and the Verb restored my faith in that. Looking forward to my future stay at the Verb!

In the last week I have stayed at Marriot locations in Brookline Coolidge Corner, Quincy, Peabody and right here in the residence inn. Of all the locations this feels the safest, paired with a very friendly and welcoming staff and the rooms are fantastic. Steps to the ballpark, the T and some good eats (though Covid has knocked some of my favorites out of business for now) Great time for a visit and don't forget the roof top bar!!

Hotel Commonwealth provides 5-star quality service and facilities at an affordable rate. It feels like family when you arrive. Front desk staff know your name before you arrive. They are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. Thanks, Myron and Nick! Bell staff always greet with a smile and have doors open and ready for you, again remembering your name. Thanks, Frankie! The rooms are spacious, some of the most spacious in Boston with beautiful views of Fenway or Kenmore. The hotel updates are gorgeous and love the added fitness room and the cozy sweatshirt hoodie robes. HC is sandwiched between two of the best restaurants in Boston (Eastern Standard and Island Creek Oyster Bar) and the subway is literally right below. Lots of hot spots within walking distance. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quality hotel during your stay in Boston or even to celebrate for a fun staycation for locals like we did. Also obsessed with the Malin+Goetz hand soap. Using the coupon right away.

On the day we supposed to arrive at this hotel to attend a concert at Berklee that evening, the ticket holder and host of the event decided that she was too concerned about the possibility of becoming infected with COVID-19 to attend. It was impracticable for us to drive over 3 hours to get the tix from her and then 2 hours back to Boston. I called Oasis, explained the situation, and was granted a full refund. I was pleasantly surprised. It is evident that customer service is of paramount importance to the management. I would not hesitate to stay here next time I need a hotel in the area.

Amidst the Covid virus circumstance, the Inn is clean and staffed. Zach and the staff are pleasant and eager to help out. It was pretty quiet and empty since the adjacent medical center is only performing essential treatments. The beds are comfortable, lots of pillows, reading lamps, refridgerator(no freezer compartment) microwave. There is no fan in the bathroom and the water takes a while to get hot, there is a proper shower head , no hand held, which is a concern of you have to shower and avoid surgical dressing etc. The ADA rooms have handheld but only large queen beds. The HVAC system is true to its readings but there is a fan that blows across the bed closest to the unit, you might prefer to turn the fan off. It is centrally located and walking distance to many local sites. The attached garage is expensive and you can get a meager 15 minutes max for free to unload BUT tell the parking attendant that you will be done in 15 minutes otherwise he will gladly charge you the full hour. You can walk from the hotel room to the galleria food court. There were a few places that remained opened despite covid. There is a small CVS in the food court area.

Our entire stay from arrival to departures was awesome. The doormen were most accommodating, knowledgeable and pleasant. The check-in procedure was easy, safe and quick. The front desk personnel were friendly, outgoing and extremely helpful. The room was very well appointed, and so very comfortable. This was another of our several stays at the Eliot, and each time we leave so very impressed and looking forward to our next stay. Our family lives down the street and the Eliot's location and A+ service and professionalism make staying there very easy and enjoyable. Having Uni downstairs is another great amenity. Staying at the Eliot is the perfect hotel for a visit to a first class city. Cannot wait to return to the Eliot. Thanks for being a great asset to Boston!

We just wanted to thank you for a wonderful weekend at your hotel. I realize we're in a pandemic but your hotel (which was sadly very empty) went above and beyond to help us in any way. We had a great view from the 24th floor and the hotel is just steps away from the back bay, wonderful restaurants and lots of shopping. Our daughter is a student at northeastern and she was a 15 min walk from her campus. We will never stay anywhere else when we are visiting boston. Thank you to all the pleasant staff as they did the best they could to make us feel as comfortable as possible! Keep up the good work and we'll see you in the spring! We even enjoyed the snow and the cold weather since we're from Florida!

From excellent staff members who warmly welcomed me, to comfortable and modern rooms and great amenities, my 7-day stay at this property was truly outstanding. Arriving well before check-in time, I was greeted by friendly and enthusiastic staff members who made it a point to get to know me and the reason of my stay. Since my room wasn't ready, I was able to freshen up in the Spa/Fitness Center and made use of the pool, sauna, showers and other amenities available there. As I was exiting the spa, I was handed my room keys there itself! My Premier Room was appointed with the very comfortable FS signature bed, a huge TV with the xfinity X1 service which I enjoyed exploring and had the option of watching movies on-demand, a Nespresso machine, water bottles, minibar, make-your-own-cocktail kit, standalone tub, in-mirror tv in the bathroom and a separate shower with good water pressure. Robes, slippers and his-and-her umbrellas were also present. All-in-all almost everything you could think of for a perfect stay. And for everything else still there is a tablet with which you can chat with the staff, request/schedule room cleaning and turndown, order in-room dining and request other amenities. (FYI all this can be done through the FS app as well.) Amidst all these positives, though, there is still room for improvement, namely in dining- limited food options and short hours of operations of the on-site restaurant One+One, and housekeeping- inconsistent service. But even so, I can wholeheartedly recommend this property for a stay that won't disappoint and look forward to returning soon!

I was in Boston this past weekend and had the most wonderful time at the hotel. It is a cute, boutique hotel in the Back Bay area of Boston. It is located at a walking distance from Newbury Street, Prudential Center, Northeastern University, Berklee School of Music. The look & feel of the rooms is very modern and very clean. The staff was extremely friendly and the complimentary breakfast of baked goods, bread, cereal, fruits and Nespresso is very nice. They have a complimentary supply of non-alcoholic beverages and yogurt in their dining area and provide 2 complimentary bottles of Fiji Water at check-in and during each cleaning. They also keep complimentary baked goods (croissants, muffins, biscottis, cookies etc.) in the dining area. They have a very cosy common area with a decent stock of reading material. The only downside is lack of adequate car parking nearby. You can do paid parking (pretty reasonable pricing) from 8am to 6pm on the surrounding residential streets, find a spot on one side of the Newbury Street that allows for non-residential overnight parking or you can do overnight parking at the Prudential Center garage for $40, which is a hefty price to pay IMO. We managed to find overnight parking spots on Newbury Street. However, the lady at the front desk did not offer any such options apart from the Prudential Center overnight parking. It would be nice for the hotel to have complimentary permit parking cards for their guests.

We traveled to Boston having decided to leave our rural northern New York "covid bunker" and finally travel somewhere. We wanted to go somewhere within driving distance as we decided to invite our two adult children along. We chose Boston because we lived in the city many years ago. Having some familiarity with hotels in Boston, we chose location first and then searched for "deals"...which we knew there would be plenty. We struck gold with the Colonnade Hotel. Located across from the Prudential Center and in the Back bay as well as at a "T" stop, it was perfect. The staff was extremely friendly upon check-in and throughout our stay. The rooms were well appointed and very clean, spacious and comfortable. The continental breakfast, or "coffee and muffins" was fine first thing in the morning. We were disappointed "Lucie!" the restaurant was not open, but completely understood due to COVID. We took note of the number of pets staying at the hotel, for anyone wanting to travel with pets...they obviously accept pets and are very accommodating. We paid $145 per night in October- over the long weekend 10/10-10/12 and thoroughly enjoyed the city ..thanks to good weather and company! We would definitely recommend this hotel and will return in the future.

I wish that I could give this hotel 2.5 stars, I was really torn between poor and average, but I think due to some customer service issues, I would have to come down on poor. There were good aspects of the stay, but overall, I could not really recommend this property in good conscience. The Good: There were a lot of factors that influenced us to choose this hotel. For one, I really loved the apartment-style feel of the one-bedroom suite. I loved having a separated living space from the bedroom, and also loved that the bedroom would not be right next to another person's bedroom. I also thought the kitchenette was charming, and outfitted (as promised) with cooking supplies and plates/utensils/etc. Also, the location was great, near many South End restaurants, but not too close to the hustle and bustle of Copley and Back Bay. I also thought (initially), the price was very fair. The Bad: This hotel could use just a bit of an update. There were a few elements that were a little dated or rough around the edges, which competed with the styling of the overall room. This was not too much of a damper on the trip, but just not the most aesthetically pleasing. Additionally, a huge problem was that at no point were we given or able to find any information about how to reach the front desk or what the hours were. We went based off of the information circulated online, but twice throughout this process (once when trying to book, which might have prevented the problem below in regards to fireplaces), we called before 10p and were directed straight to voicemail. Additionally, there was no in-room phone, and so when we had to call the front desk, we had to look up the phone number online to call. I think that if a hotel has non-standard staffing, then there should just be clarity about what that means for the establishment. The Ugly: These were the elements that really knocked this hotel down: 1. The Fireplaces: We booked this hotel specifically because they boasted about their rooms being outfitted with gas fireplaces. Unfortunately, nowhere was it mentioned that these fireplaces do not turn on until October 15th. Therefore, we ended up paying more for a room that we would not have booked at all if we had known about this. This should be made clear before booking, especially since the cancellation policy at this establishment is so rigid. This was a major disappointment for us. 2. The Customer Service: When we arrived, our bathroom had about half a roll of toilet paper and no back up. When we started to run out our second day, we attempted to call the front desk at around 8p. We were sent straight to voicemail, where we left a message hoping for a call back. We then ended up calling the sister hotel, XV Beacon, and were told that they would call us back with more information. Eventually, they did call us back, only to tell us that because of several changes in staffing, they did not have any staff contacts. They then put us on hold for sev

Boston City Center
One of the cheapest, if not the cheapest centrally located Marriott, it’s good if you’re budget conscious but certainly a get what you pay for situation. Water in the room is $5 a carton and not an ideal set up if you plan on doing work. In house food options are limited but at least they’re serving right now. Location was great for my personal needs in the theatre district type area. The room was also quiet as I had requested so I was very pleased about this. It’s fine in a pinch but there are much better options in Boston and given they’re only slightly more expensive right now, I’d select another option. Not as good as my experience at the DC property which I thought was overall excellent.

This was my second stay at this hotel. It always amazes me how magnificent (large) it is. It is really conveniently located. Very centrally located in between very touristy streets of Boylston and Park Plaza and walking distance to CBD area, while tucked away in a relatively quiet street one block away. I did not use the facilities other than the bar and coffee shop, which were great. The room I stayed in this time, a king size bed, was a bit small; the bottom of the bed was too squished close to the TV and wall. It should be okay for one person, but it would have been a bit difficult for two people. The air con was cranked to high and I couldn't find room temp controller. It was a hot summer stay and I did not mind it too much, except for one day when I stayed in my room to do a bit of work.

When I checked in at the hotel, she told the front desk that she wanted a quiet room. She saw that I liked the upper floors and arranged for me to the 17th floor. After entering the room, it was okay overall, but when I saw the sand-like marks in the sink and the sink when I went to the bathroom, it looked a bit uncomfortable. After returning the next day, the room was cleaned. Although the sink and the pond were not completely cleaned, the traces were almost gone. After staying there are many privileges, free soup or something. But daily fruits are not seen at the front desk every day. I have been to the gym but one of the bicycles failed to start. But the rest of the equipment is good, although the personal yoga space is a bit small outside. Overall, nearby activities are very convenient. Service attitude is also very correct.

The male staff in the evening shift is very friendly, very patient, always smiling, and the service is very good! It rained outside and I also borrowed an umbrella for me. The room was great, my room was on the top floor, there was a balcony in the room and the bed was very comfortable! The location is very good, just in the city center, to various attractions, shopping and shopping, the surrounding restaurants are very convenient, it should be the best hotel I have ever stayed on this trip! If you have the chance to go to Berlin again, you have to choose this hotel!

I had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. The rooms are medium sized but I was upgraded due to Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite status. The in-room amenities were excellent and included bathtub, work desk and a flat screen TV. Beds were large and comfortable and blankets were really good. My main complaint is with the air-conditioning unit. It was noisy and placed on the ground, thereby leading to inconvenience and vibrations. Not to mention that the angle of the vent was also odd. There is a nice restaurant on site which is open till late night. Food is good and value for money. The hotel has a pool table, outdoor game area and many conference rooms. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely consider going there again especially for the views of the Boston Seaport and reasonably priced rooms.
