We arrived at 1 in the morning and didn't know what to expect but once we got in to our suite we had two comfortable rooms and great beds. The next morning we were treated to a great breakfast with coffee, tea, muffins eggs and other hot foods ,cereals, yogurts, breads and a few other things all set in a very clean and friendly basement room.the staff is courteous and extremely helpful. I would definitely go back and stay there.

I recently stayed for a month in Hotel Jana in Prague. I found it to be very clean and affordable and the continental breakfast to be quite impressive. It's lovely to sit at a table and eat outside in the gorgeous garden on a summer morning in good weather. Note that part of the affordability comes from sharing washrooms (which are kept scrupulously clean) with others. It is in a good location, being less than a 10 minute walk from the Metro and about 3 minutes walk from a tram line. Including walking time, you can reach the centre of Prague in only about 20 minutes via public transit. There are grocery stores, coffee shops, pubs, restaurants, and banks all within close walking distance. My only complaints are that the house-keeping staff can be somewhat noisy first thing in the morning, and WiFi can be very slow at times. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend Hotel Jana to anyone looking for a budget place to stay in Prague.

I'm not going to lie a big reason I stayed here was because of the amazing name but it's much more than a name this is feels like a hotel but with the prices of a hostel. I stayed here for a week in a 8 bed dorm for an amazing price. The beds were comfy with sockets and a light beside each one, the room was clean and comfy and the bathroom/showers area was top notch. It is over 7 floors with all types of rooms. There is an attached cafe and bar as well. There is also a small kitchen but I do emphasise the word small, I wouldn't bank on making any big meals. 1 thing to note is the WiFi. It is very quick but in the room (and also kitchen weirdly) however in the reception comfy seating area it's really terrible and barely works. I find it so baffling why they don't just add an extra router for reception only. Aside from that a great place to stay as for once comfort really doesn't have to come for a price.

Never again!!! In the room was terribly cold, heating switched off. After switching it on it almost didnot heat as the air was in the radiator. I have asked receptionist to change the room or take the air out from heating - all rejected!!! Absolutely no competent!!! Even the second day they didnot want to resolve it. I had to sleep in my clothes which I had to use at work to keep less cold! I am taking accommodation in Prague for one year almost every week and didnot have such bad experience even in the cheap hostels!!! 4stars is nonsense!

This hotel is not far from city center, located near cosy square Náměstí bratří Synků where you can get whatever you want. Unfortunately, the first impression of the reception hasn’t been that pleasant. I couldn’t find a receptionist and the communication overall was little bit odd. Despite the first experience, the room itself was surpassingly modern and well furnished. Colored to white and light colors gave the visitor calming feelings. I do recommend to visit this hotel, the price/services really worth it.

Many of the items I wanted to highlight have already been covered, however it is a great Hotel for Families/Tourists, down a cobblestone side street yet close to several trams stops which leaves you 10 minutes from the city center. Staff is super friendly and helpful which in Prague is a big plus. Breakfast is good and served in a bright mezzanine atrium. AS you tend to find in Central Europe, pastry and breads are excellent. My room was located at the end of the dark hall off the staircase and I had to climb up a stair inside my door to get to my room. Bathroom very nice with (what I hoped was) a bidet. Room itself was sparsely furnished bu well maintained and very well cleaned. The trains may bother some guests, however they very rarely blew their horns. I was more bothered by noisy residents of the neighborhood .

Me and my mum stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is in a good location and very close to the centre which you can reach by tram (2 mins from hotel). The trams are very frequent and go all over Prague, including the castle and close to the old town. (You can reach the castle in approx 20-30 mins by tram-number 22 takes u about 5 mins walk away from the castle) google maps is so helpful as it shows u which tram goes to your requested destination. The room at the hotel was clean and modern. The beds were very comfy and the shower was also very good. The breakfast was tasty with a lot of choice including hot options such as toast/sausages/eggs and sweet options such as croissants/cereals/fruit as well as tea and coffee facilities. The staff at the hotel were really friendly and polite. Me and my mum both felt safe here and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed in this hotel for three nights. It has good access to public transport (5 min walk to tram or metro station) and there are some bars and restaurants nearby. The room was small and tidy. The bathroom included towels, shower gel and shampoo as well as a hairdryer. The breakfast was in the basement and consisted of a basic buffet which serves a variety of hot and cold dishes/beverages. The staff was friendly and were able to assist with any questions. You are able to buy public transport tickets at the reception which was very convenient. Unfortunately the Wi-Fi is, as many other users have pointed out, atrocious and I had to use mobile data most of the time. Overall we enjoyed our stay and can recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay close to the city centre without paying too much.

It is kind of a guesthouse. Not a hotel. Good for group travellers, students and conference members. Very cheap for Prague with good location (close to metro and town center) and clean single rooms. No Restaurant or bar, but common kitchen.

First top tip - book any apartment at Residence Trafick on their website, free breakfast included and usually cheaper than any other booking website available. We booked for a five night stay, booking for the panoramic apartment with terrace, which on their website is Apartment 43. The pictures on the website match exactly what you get. The apartment is large and spacious, with an open plan living / dining / kitchen area, a separate double bedroom and a separate shower room. Kitchen - it's like being at home - there's a filter coffee machine, a capsule coffee machine (by Tchibo, takes Cafissimo capsules), a toaster, a sandwich maker, a full hob, oven, combination microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, full size fridge and freezer. In the cupboards and drawers you get a full set of crockery and cutlery, glassware and cooking pots/pans. Two Smart TVs - one in the living area, one in the bedroom - both set up to receive Czech digital TV - not satellite, no English channels. Play with settings and you will get the odd US/UK programme with dual language (dubbed Czech and original English). Best thing for us this week on TV - Netflix! The outdoor L-shaped terrace wraps around the apartment, fully decked. Views to the south of Prague and over the houses behind. Getting to/from the apartment - Bohdalec bus stop right outside the door. 24 CZK for a 30 minute ticket to get into the city centre (bus to Zelivskeho, metro to Mustek) or walk down the street to get a tram from Chodovska into the city centre (I'd recommend the 14 tram to Lazarska). Getting to/from the airport is simple - get a 32 CZK 90 minute ticket and get a 119 bus from the airport to Nadrazi Veleslavin, Metro to Zelivskeho and then bus to Bohdalec - time it right, and you get from airport to apartment in 50-55 minutes. Breakfast/cafe - served in the cafe/restaurant area downstairs every morning from 7am to 11am - typical breakfast buffet with cooked items, traditional Continental food, cereals, breads, yoghurts, fruit juice, tea and a decent bean-to-cup coffee machine. The apartment is self-catering and is not set up like a hotel - your linen and towels do not get changed every day (new towels every 3rd day, new bed linen every 5th day) - you can get clean towels and linen more often for a fee - or wash and dry them yourself in the excellent washer/dryer. Grocery shopping tip - the apartment is one bus stop away from Tesco Extra in one direction or a five-minute walk down the street to Kaufland. Walk to Kaufland, unless Tesco is your thing! Capsules for the coffee machine 99 CZK for 10 from Kaufland. Not apartment related but relevant to spending money - most places in Prague accept payment by card, always pay in CZK and use a card that charges 0% or a low commission for foreign currency spending. If you must get cash out, the cash machine inside Kaufland (don't know about the one outside) does not charge commission. If you need to change cash - look for the Ho

Nové Město
We just got back from our 7-day trip to Prague and we had the best hotel experience staying at Park Inn Hotel. The whole staff was very kind and available for any request 24/7. Our room was gorgeous, extremely spacious and cozy, with two walls covered in large windows that faced the Moldava River and the streets of Prague. The bathroom had both a shower and a bathtub, which was very comfortable since I prefer long hot baths and my boyfriend takes quick showers. Moreover we had three different Dove hand-body wash/shampoo dispensers that were free to use. The cleaning service works everyday, but I noticed a few problems, like some dirt on the carpet in a corner behind the entrance door and two or three rose petals under our bed on our very first day (maybe because it was February 15th and we checked-in earlier than we were supposed to, so the cleaning lady didn't have enough time to and they also offer laundry service. There's a restaurant on the ground floor where we had breakfast everyday, and it serves a vast range of dishes and beverages (eggs, bacon, sausages, baked beans, cheese, potato pancakes, butter, bread, pastries, jams, cereal, milk, smoothies, all kinds of coffee and tea and so much more). The restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner, but the prices are a lot higher than in a local restaurant in the city, so we didn't try it. The hotel is 4 minutes away from two different tram stops (Vytón [where there's also a ticket machine with a card reader in case you don't have any change] and Albertov) and just 300mt away from a tiny supermarket named Tesco for any groceries necessity.

Myself and my husband stayed here for three nights as part of BA package. The hotel was only a short transfer from the hotel and is right next to Metro and Tram transport links. The hotel is very modern, clean, and quiet - at times we felt like we were the only people staying there! The reception staff were always very polite. We were able to get into our room as soon as we arrived and they were able to always help us - we bought transport tickets from them at reception, changed money from notes to coins and also used the luggage storage service upon checking out. The only slight disappointment is that there were a range of items provided in the fridge in the room (water, beer, pepsi and cholocate) and we were only aware that these were chargeable upon checkout when we were billed for them! We have stayed in many hotels around the world were obviously items in the mini bar are chargable, however this has always been made clear on a sign in the room, but we have also stayed in hotels were the items are complimentary. Also don't forget you will get billed a nightly tax at the end of your stay. We did however have a lovely stay at the Diplomat and nothing was too much trouble. We would return here if ever returning to Prague.

Witt Kopf
This hotel is located on the edge of Prague's Old Town. It takes 20 minutes to walk to Prague Square, which is a long way. Uber is recommended (Uber in Czech is very convenient and cheap). The hotel facilities are a bit old and had to be renovated about 5-8 years ago. The lobby downstairs is very bright, the afternoon tea in the lobby bar is delicious, and there is a small casino on the ground floor (Prague has many such small casinos, this is considered regular). There is a small shopping mall downstairs and a supermarket inside (not 24 hours, it closes at about 20:00)

My husband booked this as a surprise 18th Wedding Anniversary get away. The hotel is beautiful. Comfortable and immaculately clean. A stone's throw from the metro which was so easy to navigate. We went all over. The Architecture is just stunning. We were lucky with the weather....not too cold, but all courtyard bars have blankets to snuggle under with heaters. Be prepared to walk alot if sightseeing is your thing. And no high heels. All the streets and roads are cobbled. Food and drink are so cheap and the beer is crazy cheap. We lived our time away. The breakfast was a huge selection. And although there isn't tea or coffee making in the rooms, it's available all around the hotel complimentary. We loved the little linen bag you hang out every day for a little surprise. Easy check in and out. Definately recommend.

Old Town
I am a frequent traveler to the Czech Republic, so I am frequently coming and going through Prague. I have stayed at many hotels in Prague ... and The Emblem is absolutely the best. I stay nowhere else now. #1 ... is the SERVICE. Absolutely stellar staff ... Erika, Teresa, et. al. have gone over the top many times to make my visit the best. #2 ... LOCATION. Right near Old Town Square ... near Charles Bridge ... near the trams. Perfect location. #3 ... SPA ... massage ... fitness .... #4 ... FOOD ... the attached Michelin-star'd dining restaraunt is spectacular. I recommend The Emblem ...without reservation. It is the best.

Thanks to BA cancelling my flight, i ended up with a night here at the Grandior. Centrally located for the Metro, trams and only a one stop metro ride from the Main railway station. I have stayed in Na Porici before and there are loads of good bars & restaurants close by. The hotel public areas and rooms are immaculate. Service was some of the best that i have had in the Czech republic, that can sometimes be a little surly at other locations. At breakfast time, guests are asked to wear masks to the buffet breakfast, however once at the table these can obviously be removed. On the subject of the breakfast it was more than adequate. If i was a little picky, i would like to see the selection of cold meat and fresh fruit expanded. The only pain for me at the hotel was that the lifts are operated by the room cards and these could be a little temperamental. Thought being so close to the road would be noisy but shouldn't have worried. Would definitely stay here again.
