0.12km from Trullo d'OroThis boutique is without a doubt one of the best hotels that I’ve ever stayed in. There’s a total of 7 rooms, and I was traveling with several people. I got to see 5 of the rooms and each was unique and luxurious. Usually rooms in hotels in Italy are pretty small and sparse. This was the complete opposite. The owner took such care with every detail of the hotel. Also the owner is hands on, checking you in, being a concierge and arranging car service and tours and giving restaurant suggestions and making reservations there. And then to top it all off, he made us box breakfasts because we had to leave for the airport before sunrise. His name is Valario and he’s an amazing hotel owner! This hotel is not to be missed. I hope to go back in the future.
0.14km from Trullo d'OroWhen we planned a trip round Puglia, we thought it wouldn’t be enough to come to Alberobello for a day. To feel the magic of this fairyland you have to stay in an authentic trullo. That is what the company offers – arched ceilings, beams together with air conditioners and all amenities. The best apartment I’ve stayed in! Very spacious, with a sitting zone where two bedrooms are separated by a wall with curtains to add privacy. The kitchen is very well-equipped, including separate plastic storage containers (never saw them, not even in Japanese hotels!). An additional door from the dining room opens onto a small private garden. What’s more, our trullo was in a quiet centre, kind of dead-end street. But what makes it charming are the details, furniture, just look at the pictures I attach. They offer breakfast in a separate building in the square, no luxury like fresh orange juice, but enough. Minuses? The bathroom was a bit cool. All in all, I highly recommend it! You feel like a hobbit or something, exploring this wonderful town and coming back to the comfort of your home.

0.2km from Trullo d'OroVito is an amazing host and so helpful. He reserved a free parking space for us right outside the Trullo. He explained us the vairous tourist and non touristy spots of Alberbello. The Trullo is very beautifully decorated and antique pieces, old family photographs makes it very charming. It is located on the main road (the residential side of town) and at a walking distance from the panoramic view spot and the touristy side of Alberobello. Breakfast is adequate with juices, milk, varieties of coffee, tea, breads, croissants, wafers etc. WIFI is excellent. The only problem we could see is that water stagnated for a while in the shower cubicle, but its not a major problem as such and trust Vito would fix this soon.

0.25km from Trullo d'OroThe bedroom is situated in the original trullo. The accomodation also includes a bathoom, an extra bedroom with 2 beds, and an ample sittingroom with TV and coffee machine. The historial centre is just some minutes' walk away. There are no facilities for preparing your own breakfast, which is a pity. Instead guests are provided with vouchers for breakfast at MyLife, a nearby coffee bar: just orange juice, coffee, and a croissant. Guests have access to a garden. The guest cannot communicate with the host before arrival. Our host had tried to reach us in order to tell that he would be a bit late to hand us our keys, but the number he had got from our organisation proved to be the number of Expedia! The host proved to be a very friendly person on arrival. We had been waiting for him for more than an hour. The rooms are simple but pleasantly decorated. Everything is spic and span.
0.26km from Trullo d'OroCool to stay in a Trulli house. We have slept in all sorts of unique places( yurts, girs, caves and a wine cellar) and this was every bit as unique. Location was perfect right in the center of town ( we were in unit 31), but very quiet as the walls are thick. Very nicely furnished - they make the most of every square inch)but a little tricky for my husband as he is tall. Bathroom is quite modern and very functional. In hindsight we would have preferred one night for a couple of reasons. There was a heat wave while we were there and the A/C worked for the living area but it did not cool the bedroom. Also, again because of the heat we could not open the windows and so there is no natural light which freaks me out a little. Manager is nice and breakfast was good though they did not tell me I could get a capicino or espresso which I quickly ordered after someone else. Otherwise, they have Nescafé as American coffee but it was not hot. One other point- when you get to town park your car and walk to the reception. My GPS messed up and it took us on a street too narrow for our comfort and we walked forever to find the check in as the sign is hard to see.

Hotels Near Trullo D'Oro In Alberobello Review
I stayed here three nights with a group. The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from the Trulli area of Alberobello. My single room and bath were spacious and I had a small balcony overlooking the front of the hotel. There was no street noise. Breakfast buffet was substantial. Free WiFi. The hotel appears to be very environmentally conscientious re lighting in rooms and stairwells, auto shut off of a/c and heat, no actual glasses in rooms but thin plastic throw-aways. Attentive/helpful front desk. Free parking.

Rooms were clean and good security. However, it shouldn't be 4 stars because there were no coffee & tea facilities, no slippers, no robes in the room and you get the basic amenities (bed sheets, soap, towels and free water bottles) though wifi was not too bad. They were happy to give us hot water from their dining area and used our own tea bags. This reminded me of our stay up in Cinque Terre's Hotel Margherita (Monterosso) which was rated as 3-1/2 stars only. I must admit that they were short staffed but friendly and helpful except for one staff during breakfast in their dining area. I didn't get his name but he used the same light cream yellow short sleeves shirt and with eyeglasses on for the 2 mornings we were there. We noticed that he introduced himself to every table and offer their machine made coffees but when it came to us he just told us about the tea & percolated coffee on the table beside the fruit juices. We felt that we were discriminated of cafe style coffees. Also, he was not friendly at all and not smiling at people like us with different country origin. Well, he should not be on the hospitality industry if he has a problem with people of different races. So glad another staff member named Giuseppe came the next breakfast day and introduced himself to us offering us latte machiatto coffee to try. It was a lovely hot drink for breakfast. It does really make a difference if staff are friendly and smiling at you.
We stayed at Grand Hotel La Chiusa di Chietri in Alberobello for a couple of night during our trip to Puglia last September. It was a very nice hotel, actually a "spa and rersort center', very likely the best hotel in Alberobello (We understand that there is only one other.) but it isn't really "in" Alberobello because it was a fifteen minute drive out in the country outside of Alberobello to reach the hotel. There is nothing around the hotel except fields and farms. You would have to have your own private transportation or be on a group tour to stay at the La Chiusa di Chietri; there is no public transport anywhere about. That said, it has lovely grounds and a variety of lodgings, rooms and cabins and condos (I think). Lovely landscaping with extensive trees and shrubberies. The exterior is non-descript and understated without even a name sign on the exterior of the building. The front door/entryway leads to a secondary lobby somewhat removed from the main lobby and desk. The main lobby is located close to the bar and restaurant. Room #123 was on the ground floor and had a view into a narrow courtyard and a raised walkway with more rooms opposite (see photo). The room was down a hallway/wing off the secondary lobby.. The room had two twin beds pushed together European style) to make one large-sized bed with three pillows and a white duvet. The room was good size but appeared to be missing furniture as there was a large open blank space at one end of the bedroom. Was this supposed to have been a sitting area or space for a table and chairs? The room did have night stands and wall sconces above them on either side of the bed, two wall sconces on the wall opposite the bed, (all with switches controlled at bedside.); a desk/counter top with a straight back desk chair; a small TV on the countertop, a mirror, one luggage carrier, and a wardrobe closet. There was a phone in the room and a small refrigerator under the vanity but no coffee urn or fixings. A small safe was in the wardrobe closet. The bathroom had an attractive red granite sink and countertop and a tub/shower combination. But there was only a cloth fabric shower curtain and the shower head and spray pattern were only so-so fair. There was a small selection of basic toiletries, bar soap but no tissues; and a non-heated towel rack with 6 towels, but limited hooks and hanging space in the bathroom. Only one keycard was issued per couple and it was required to keep the room electric on. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant on our first night there and it was good. Breakfast buffets, however were only fair (at best). There was only a limited number of items and selections with a limited selection of pastry, rolls, fruit, and cheeses, and only orange or pineapple juice. There were mostly fried eggs and no omelettes (despite previous advice that omelettes were available). A request for a scrambled egg resulted in a chopped up fried egg. There was only limited bacon and no sausage
The rooms are distributed around Trulli near the hotel reception and breakfast is served in the shop adjacent to the reception. The Trulli whare you stay are amazing and very well presented inside. Ours had a kitchenette with cooking equipment but there are many restaurants close by. Breakfast was very good with a good selection and as usual amazing coffee. Improvements would have been some tea/coffee sachets in the room. Also it appeared the hot water was shared with adjacent Trulli giving insufficient hot water for the shower.
This charming B&B can be found down a meandering road. It has three rooms which all have a lovely view of the surrounding countryside. It is perfectly logistically located to explore the famous villages of Puglia. Only a few mins to Alberobello and Noci, fifteen min to Locorotondo. There is a small table and chairs outside each room to savor this charming area. Each room is carefully decorated. The heating in the bathroom is on a timer which is efficient and simple and reflects the hosts (Liliana and Daniele) concern about the environment. The room has tea and coffee making facilities. There isn’t a fridge but an esky that can be plugged in to keep things cool. Unfortunately we found this was a little noisy so we chose not to use it. The bed was comfortable and the room was cozy. It was immaculately cleaned and tidied every day. Breakfast is a feast for the senses. Daniele baked a different cake each day and nothing was too much trouble for the couple. The table was set with fresh cheeses, sliced meats, fresh breads, individually prepared fruit salads, juices and eggs. There were also home made preserves and locally sourced honey. We were thoroughly spoilt. Breakfast took place in a Trulli which is part of their home. It was beautifully decorated. We thoroughly recommend this B&B and wouldn’t hesitate to return.
