I stayed there for 2 nights and it is supposed to be the best hotel in town, (I value it at three stars) and despite the issues encountered it's still probably is. The price was not cheap, same as an international hotel in a second tier city in Vietnam, for a room not that large but was OK. The bathroom was simple, a small shower, sink, toilet unit. The breakfast was the issue, although the selection was reasonable for the type of hotel its market and the location, staff do not have in their routine to check if the chafing dishes are empty so arriving in the morning there was no coffee, milk, jam, fruit juice or butter left, although on offer … Side up egg ended in eggs fried both sides, and when a female manager in charge arrived, things did not improve as she started eating behind the restaurant counter. Extending my stay, staff forgot to extend the validity of my key resulting is useless travelling between the room and the lobby, always annoying...Beds are good, no issue with that. The best thing is probably its location just in front of the river, which allows you to see the ballet of the passing boats while cattle egrets and resting on floating leaves and in the evening on the weekend the market is very close by while plenty of street vendors offer local delicacies.

Yes, the first choice for Chinese people, breakfast is average, mainly because the front desk can communicate in Chinese, there are more choices to eat around, the rest is quiet at night, and I live here every time I come

Not bad, but I booked a special room, and told me that there was only one room, but in the end I booked a full-price room again, and another special room appeared later. Twice, the full price room is worse than the special room, just one extra bed
The rooms are clean, the internet is strong and stable, there are many convenience stores around the clock, many underground food cities, bars all over the place, and it is particularly lively at night. very safe.
As long as there are no special circumstances, the room is good, but the navigation address is different from the actual address, breakfast is ok, the room is clean and sanitary, and the hot water is solar, not too hot
When we arrived at the hotel it all seemed fine, the staff seemed friendly and we even booked an excursion through them. The room was a bit dark and didn’t have a window but for what we needed it for was not bad, we felt at $20 per night it was a little expensive, nevertheless in a great central location so we extended the room for a couple more nights. On our last evening we needed to get some more dollars as we were crossing the border to Cambodia the following day. I already had $20 in my wallet which I had put on my bedside table, so we set off for 1 hour to get our dollars and come back. When we had got back and went to the room, I was surprised to see that the room had been made up so late by the staff. Not only that but the $20 we had left there had disappeared. Both my girlfriend and I knew we had left it there as we only popped to get a few more dollars but searched high and low anyway to be sure it hadn’t been misplaced before informing the hotel of what had happened. When we went downstairs to tell the staff they immediately said they needed to call their manager and get the cleaners to come reception. It was awkward as they said they hadn’t seen any money which was clearly not true. When I asked the hotel if they could let me have one free nights stay instead to make up for it they said that it is hotel policy that anything that goes missing in the room is not their responsibility. I said that they don’t provide a safe and that whenever the room has been cleaned before, they asked us if they could come in rather than just helping themselves in such a short window of opportunity. They told me that they always clean the rooms (that’s untrue as they did it twice in 4 nights) and that anyone at the hotel should store all of their valuables at the front desk. So every time I go out the staff expected me to leave my laptop, camera, iPad, passports with them rather than the safety of my own room. I don’t understand why they are even putting locks on the doors when they are allowing staff to enter without consent to take things knowing that the customer has no leg to stand on when they just say “sorry hotel policy”. One of the new hotel ladies who worked behind the desk was also taking sly photographs of my girlfriend behind her back, when I asked her what she was taking them for and if she could show me and delete them, she absolutely lost it. She got up told me she had copies of all my passports anyway so could do what she wanted with my information and was threatening with it, it was disgraceful how she spoke to a customer and even her own colleagues were embarrassed by her actions. All in all it wasn’t resolved, they made me pay my full bill even though I said I’d have to share my experience as other customers need to know about what system they are operating at the hotel. They said they didn’t care, the $20 is more important than the bad review apparently. I’m stupid to have left any money on my bedside table and won’t do it again, but
When I first arrived at a&EM art hotel, staff Sally informed our seven people group that some of the room type we booked are sold out, and they will upgrade us to nicer rooms without extra charge. Also, as an apology of the inconvenience caused, Hotel offered free ride to the airport. The whole process is fast and smooth. We are happy with staff Sally’s professional work for us to have good start in our vacation. Also, the bar upstairs is outstanding, can be a very good place for a drink to relax.
The hotel is located in District 1, belonging to the more prosperous area of Ho Chi Minh, with convenient transportation. However, many of the hotel infrastructure are bad, such as the shower head in the bathroom and the plug for charging the bed, which is not comparable to domestic hotel chains. The most disturbing thing is that when it rains, the window leaks, and the rain seeps directly to the bed. The hotel attendant took a large towel and sucked water on the ground until the rain stopped.
It is recommended to be in areas other than Zone 1, such as Zone 5, Zone 7, where you can live in a better hotel for the same price
Stayed 3 nights at Kim hotel. The staff are so wonderful, they are smiley, always welcome you and say good night. The room was very clean, the most clean I have ever seen! I would highly recommend staying here. Super close to bùi viện walking street and the side street Kim hotel is on has lots of good cheap food choices. There is a cute wee rooftop area above the hotel for chilling at the end of the night. The staff booked all our tours as well as our bus to the next destination. Happy new year! We will be back for sure 😃
recommend! Hotel location is very good, service is good, facilities are very new! The room is small, with windows but blocked outside. There is no free electric iron. There are fewer types of breakfast, but the service is particularly good. If we have any questions, please find the front desk or waiter. It is about twenty minutes by car from the airport. It's just a few minutes walk to the Central Post Office, Binjiang Market, etc. Although I arrived in Ho Chi Minh on the New Year's Day, I never expected that Vietnam will also have a Lunar New Year, and all places are closed!
Every time I travel nearby, I choose this hotel to stay. Staying on a business trip, the hotel's hygiene is relatively clean, the location is also very good, the neighborhood is relatively prosperous, it is a good choice to have time to stroll around, it is recommended.
Quiet hostel situated in the backpackers’ area of district 1 in an alley full of several other hostels not far from the nightlife of Bui Vien. Originally booked 4 nights at Long Hostel, but after a mistake on Expedia’s part, I arrived at 1am with no confirmed booking. The staff there directed me to Khoi Hostel directly across instead, and I had a pleasant experience with no complaints. I stayed in a private double with en suite bathroom that was clean, larger than expected, and included AC, fan, mini fridge, and reliable hot water for the shower. There was free breakfast every morning and the staff helped me arrange tours for the Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta, both of which I thoroughly enjoyed. Overall I had a great stay at Khoi Hostel and am quite happy I was sent there after my original booking didn’t work out.
Dong Du Hotel is a lovely place. The tiny lobby is clean with welcoming hosts. The entire staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable. And each breakfast is cooked to order. This small place is on a relatively quiet street. The location is lovely too. Just a 10 minute walk leads to Norte Dame Square, the historic post office, and Book Street. For a very special treat, cross the street at the hotel and head to a small food cart. Have the noodles. Absolutely delicious!
I don't revel writing this review. I stayed here with my family for several nights in December 2019. It was an awful experience. Unfortunately, the hosts -- whose names I believe are Ruby, and someone else named Kevin who emailed us -- are just not ready to put in the work and/or expense to host guests at their properties. They were not responsive to our concerns about cleanliness or the lack thereof. The apartment, which had high end fixtures, was dirty. Upon arrival late at night, we were first struck by the beautiful city view. The excitement soon faded when we noted the smell of urine in the front bathroom and that the A/C in the living room did not work. We spent 30 minutes cleaning around the toilet until the smell dissipated. We had to climb up onto a chair to turn off the A/C which was blowing hot air as there was no remote. While daily cleaning services are indicated, the housekeeper did not want to clean. She preferred to drop off towels and bottled water, minimally clean, and depart shortly thereafter. She was annoyed when we asked her to sweep to get rid of the two inches of dust bunnies, hair, and old pills that had accumulated under the beds, dressers, curtains, couch, corners, and tables. There was a pervasive smell of mildew every time we opened a drawer or cabinet. The furniture, which was white laminate, had black scuff and crayon marks on almost every surface. The white kitchen counters were also stained. All of the bathroom vents had black lint in the grates. The shower caulking was black in the bottom corners. The washer/dryer on the balcony wreaked of mildew/mold when opened. When we requested hangers to hang our clothes, we received 10 mismatched dirty plastic hangers. The stove hood was so filthy, that after I swiped it the ensuing black tar-like mark on my finger only came off by scrubbing it with soap and water. Again, we had to clean the hood ourselves since the maid noted she could not reach it. Also: all the glass surfaces were streaked, there were finger prints and marks on the white walls, there is no coffee maker, no microwave, and hardly any pots and pans or silverware/kitchen utensils in the kitchen. In addition, the apartment advertises a pool. What they don't tell you is that you will have to give passport copies and finger prints, which will take two days to process with building management (not the hosts). We quickly realized that it was just not worth it. I note that (oddly) there are a number of good reviews for this place on multiple sites with the same canned response from the company. I question their veracity as there is just no way that our apartment was an exception. It was just too neglected. It is my sincere hope that this review will force the company to immediately deep clean their apartments, and if it does not, I would stay away. In conclusion, I would say that Ho Chi Minh is known to have more expensive accommodations. If you are a family who is coming to visit f
Not recommended or find it an ideal hotel to stay if travelling with children (in my personal opinion). We travel in big group size - 2 families with 3 and 4 children respectively. Booked 4 family rooms and all of us stayed on different levels. Total disaster as we had to go to different rooms to settle our kids. There is only 1 family room on each level and no connecting room. Limited big tables for breakfast and you need to be early to get 4 seater table. Food spread is acceptable as able to fill children hungry tummies. Had some unforeseen, bad experiences in hotel: - stay on the last floor, my husband experienced no water supply during his shower and need to call reception for assistance. The water flow (shower head) is small, also we are not able to flush the toilet clean. - no TV connection (the tv box was not setup or found) in one of the rooms. - found ants everywhere on one of the lower floor rooms and requested to chg room. Cons: - Need to cross the busy road in order to reach hotel via coach (due to the side of door opening). - Rooms are not sound-proof. If you are a light sleeper, be prepared to noise such as foot steps or when someone drags the chair above your room; you will be able to hear your neighbours when they close the door; and noisy street "football fever SEA Game" at night. Pros: - Close to Ben Thanh Market, walking distance. - Circle K is just a door away from hotel. - many massage parlours near to hotel
Hotel with design and rooftop bars. Room is clean and spacious. HKD12xx per room per night is a bit pricey for us. Need to walk for 10 minutes to go to the city center or to the church. Will stay again if the room price is less expensive.
Close to Saigon Cathedral and Central Post Office, Vincom Center is in front of you, and it is a hotel facing Don Khoi Street. It is really the best location. Especially the underground food court in Vincom Center is lively and recommended. Please visit it when you are troubled with your meal! (there is also a cafe) Breakfast is recommended to go to １ in the morning. Because the replenishment of the thing that has disappeared is relaxing, it is the worst when you go to the time zone where there is nothing. The hotel itself is old, but it is cleaned properly, so there was no problem. １ １ mini bottle of water is served to people. Amenities are also complete and there is also a small dryer. You can leave your suitcase after check-in. It is usually recommended.
I recently spent a month at the Emerald while between apartments. The staff are amazing. Everyone at the front desk and everyone in housekeeping do a great job and are genuinely sweet and friendly. The location is perfect, close to a lot of places in walking distance, and on a nice quiet street in a very good area of District 7.
PS: This is a super long review but worth reading This was my first ever hostel experience and I am very happy that I chose Long hostel for it. Firstly the rooms are very clean and it entirely has a very homely ambience. The owner lady is very welcoming, ever smiling and warm. The beds are soft and they do maintain cleanliness. The hostel also provides you with toothbrush, towels and body wash so incase you forget any of these you need not worry. You are provided with delicious breakfast and drinks in the morning such as banana pancakes, omlette bread, scrambled eggs etc. (You can choose any one of these/ drinks- tea, coffee, passion fruit squash etc) but banana pancake is a must try over there. There are various books to read, a piano for entertainment and so mostly there are some jammin sessions that happens over the evening. And I couldn't forget to mention that they give you 2 beers and 2 bananas (each person) everyday between 7-9 pm as they have their happy hours then. There is a kitchen on the ground floor where you can cook your stuff if any. The showers have hot water provision, blankets are soft and various charging points given in the room. The owner lady is very helpful and can provide you with useful travel suggestions. They also have a facility of arranging a cab anytime from airport to the hostel and vice-versa. They also allow an early ir late check in case depending on ur flight timings but preferably inform them in advance, that's what I did. I wish I could rate them more than 5 as they deserve it. Truly one of my best experiences!!!
We have been in this hotel since 2016. As the hotel has degraded the service and breakfast. In the room the gardens are cut off the lights are very dark we asked for more lights but nothing was done. The room was very clean and the room was very clean and the room was very clean and the room was very clean and the room was very clean and the room was very clean and the room was very clean and the room was very clean and the room was very clean and the room was very clean and the room was very clean and the room was very clean and the room was very clean and the room was very clean and the room was very clean and the room was very clean and the room was very clean and the room was very clean and the room was very clean and the room I disadvise this hotel that declines to the level of clean service and old service of furniture and TV
What a brilliant place! Fantastic location down an alley so minimal noise from the very loud ‘walking street’. Clean. Nice beds. Great pillows! Private bathroom. TV in room with English channels. Air con and fan plus mini fridge with drinks cheaper than Circle K! Mrs Ha and another lady called Nang both speak good English and have lots of excellent recommendations for tours and places in the city. Very helpful and kind. I have stayed here twice and will come back again! Cannot rate highly enough!
Breakfast is relatively simple, bread, eggs, Vietnamese special noodles, rice noodles can be selected, okay, no extra bed, the hotel is in District 7, there are Korean districts, there are many large supermarkets near Korea, there is no parking lot, but You can park on the roadside
The Spring Hotel is definitely not 5 star but if you want to stay 5 minutes away from the city centre and not pay a fortune this hotel is worth considering. The reception staff are fantastic and quick to help with any problems. I had an issue with the aircon remote which was quickly fixed. The decor is a bit mid 1990’s but the bed is very good, reasonable sized bathroom and safe. The breakfast has a very good choice but you need to select the day before. I found the pho to be a very good option. Finally the door staff - the friendliest people you could meet. Every time I left or returned to the hotel it was the most courteous welcome. It’s a little thing but it makes your stay so much better. Besides being close to the Vincom centre, you’ll find some great spas in the area as well as very reasonably prices restaurants. This is my first stay in the Ben Nghe area and I’ll definitely want to return to the Spring Hotel.
Just coming from the big hotel in Nha Trang is a bit uncomfortable, but after a day I feel pretty good. The breakfast was very good and the taste was good. The hotel has a piano, nothing to play a bomb. Walk to the church, post office, museum, art gallery, etc. from the hotel for a long time. In the afternoon, I walked to the plant animal yard next to me. It was a surprise, a lot of animals, and it was very clean. The animals were very healthy, elephants, giraffes, hippos... It’s quite cheap to eat at the cafe on the left hand side downstairs. Turn right on the right hand side and have a beef noodle in the alleyway. Hotel service is good, we check out at the airport at 2 am, please help the hotel to call a taxi, a few minutes to come, 150000d, very convenient and cost-effective.
The hotel located in the central of Saigon. Convenient to most places. Plenty of good restaurants and bars around the area. The hotel staffs are friendly, helpful and always smiling. Their guidance is clear and even provides customers with a paper map. The service is good. The room is spacious and clean. The only issue is the bathtub designed not so well so beware that water will be everywhere on the floor if you take a long shower.
Really like the hotel location and the staff there. I would rate 4.5/5 for their services.
We didn't expect much for the price. However, we were a little surprised. The hotel is in a quiet location and you have 20min to the center. The English language was a little strange for the staff, but it did it in any way, it was also a little sympathetic. Unfortunately, the room had no window and there was a little ne construction atmosphere. But otherwise it was ok for what you paid. for 1-2 nights not bad.
My sister and I stayed at this quaint little hotel it’s right in the middle of the hustle and the bustle in a great area that suits anyone’s tastes many local bars restaurants and a easy walk to the markets We had a room on the floor 4 th floor looking down on the street below The room was spotless clean king bed great aircon It’s not a big room but it’s all you need as your not here to spend all your time in the room Breakfast is across the little lane way to its sister hotel as well as the pool Breakfast was delicious lots of Choice with friendly staff Binh the manger at urban lodge is a asset to this hotel and made our stay even more enjoyable He was full of information and nothing was too much trouble Each time we returned to the hotel after a day out he greeted as with a smile and was interested in what we had been up too His service was far and beyond.. we would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning again in the future... 😃
We enjoyed our stay at Diamond Luxury. There are some really posh apartments with a similar name 50 yards away, which can be confusing, ironically it is where the breakfast is served which is included in the price. The taxi dropped us off there but its a short walk. The apartments are tucked down a little alley but it meant the apartment was quiet, the family owners are very helpful and friendly. The collection of items on display in reception are quite eccentric-stuffed animals to best China sets and everything inbetween. There's a bottle of whisky and shot glasses, "do you like it?" my wife asked after I had a shot "no" laughed the night porter! Room was good, two beds, kitchen and good bathroom with large shower. Lots of traditional? wood furniture. TV with Netflix etc The old market and centre are within walking distance. The mini bus for the tour to the Cu chi tunnels found the apartment which we were concerned about, we booked the tour at a agency near the market. Breakfast starts at 8am which we thought was relatively late if you have tours booked for the day. Basically the owner walks you to the posh apartment's restaurant, allows you to choose from the menu (all massive Vietnamese options which were more like evening meals!) and he pays for it with the teller. The restaurant and meals were good, we would have preferred a lighter/western option possibly. We planned to take our son to the Buddha theme park, the owner highlighted it was far out of town and suggested another water park closer - which we enjoyed for a few hours. The hotel has a rooftop, with a washing machine and racks for drying. We used a local laundry place but dry a few items we hand washed. Nice view of sunset from the terrace. Would recommend and stay again if in the city.
In order to catch the early flight the next day, I chose this hotel that is close to the airport. The impression of Ibis in China is the Express Hotel. Looking at the reviews before, everyone's evaluation of the hotel was not the best, and I was very satisfied after going through it myself.
Room: First of all, let's talk about the room. Although the square room is not large, it has everything and it is very reasonable. There are two people sitting on the sofa and a small writing desk. The bed was very comfortable, and a comfortable large bed was made in a small space, with a modern and clean layout. The bathroom is small but clean and does not look cramped, everything is just fine.
Airport Shuttle: Because it is a hotel near the airport, the main customer group is the guests who transfer to or from the airport or the early flight. Therefore, the hotel is very considerate to prepare a shuttle bus that runs every half an hour for the guests. In fact, it is only five minutes by car from the hotel. , Even walk on your own, but this arrangement makes guests feel very attentive.
Surrounding environment: Although it is near the airport, there are still some choices to eat and drink. There is a local Vietnamese Starbucks-Highland Coffee at the door, and a Starbucks downstairs. It is open at 6:30 in the morning. Next to it is a shopping mall with puffs and tea The restaurant looks like it doesn't. If you don't mind the roadside stalls, sooner or later, there will be some small vendors selling stalls opposite the hotel, selling some local food.
Facilities: On the top floor of the hotel, rooftop has an infinity pool and bar gym. The infinity pool view is very good, overlooking the airport. It seems that the plane going to swim in the pool must be very comfortable. The bar atmosphere is also good at night.
1. Accurate positioning. In an alley, there is an iron gate at the entrance of the alley. It will be closed at 11pm (the key was given at the front desk, but it is basically useless), which is safer.
2. The environment of the room is OK, and all of them have (safe, refrigerator, TV, air conditioning, separate shower room, hairdryer, slippers).
3. The equipment is relatively old, the headlights in the room where I live are broken, I called the front desk and said that I would contact the master and leave it alone; there is a nest of ants in the bathroom, and the toilet cover is broken; At night, when it was close to 30 degrees, he was directly turned into a monkey and could not sleep at all.
4. The highlight is the window, the view is wide and not depressed, which is more praiseworthy.
5. The MM at the front desk was very good. I gave a lot of suggestions for eating and drinking.
In summary, you can consider stepping points for tourism. Attachments include parks and churches. It is a little far away from Fan Lao Fifth Street. Take a taxi for about 20-30 yuan.
Overall, a good hotel with helpful and friendly staff. However, their communication and marketing is a little misleading.
1) There is no gym/fitness center as per their marketing.
2) They charge $15 extra for any guests of guests visiting after 10PM, and yet don't disclose this upfront to their guests. Customer service in this regards is ridiculous and argumentative. My Guest visited for 40 minutes and yet they made a big fuss about it. It would have been acceptable if they let us know upfront. There is no staff after 10 PM and only a security guard who says okay to everything and then makes a fuss later.
3) Their restaurant has dining hours but you need to book at reception in advance in order to eat during their stated hours. And yet, they have their own families eating in their restaurant all the time and don't make the same menu available to their guests.
