It is one by train to Kyoto, so it is very convenient for sightseeing in Kyoto, and of course, you can also sightseeing in Omihachiman, so I think it is not a bad choice. The rooms (and bathroom) were small. We were happy we only had our backpack with us and that our luggage was sent to the next hotel. As a family of four, we were hosted in two separate rooms (without connectiing doors). There are free soft-drinks, tea and coffee near the reception for free. There were as well massage chairs available for free. The breakfast was decent.

It is just off Yakkaichi station of OMI Railway. I had a job nearby and stayed. It was good to have this hotel here.
