stayed 2nights. Good service, good meals, good location (10 min to the Shrine, a few min to The shopping street) and good hot spring. Rooms are not huge but comfortable. You can have ice lollipop, small rice balls, light breakfast, Yogi drinks and Ramien noodle all for free!! no extra charge. Wonderful! All staff are young and very good hospitality. Everyone say "Konichiwah " to us with big smile. Our waitress Marina was very kind girl. She can speak English well. She must be a receptionist! coz there is no English speaker at the reception. Hope to come back hotel ikyu again.

This was one of the better hotels/houses that we stayed at. Check in latest was 11pm which was good because we drove from Koyasan and it gave us enough time to explore a bit before we arrived in Ise. They have warm showers and tooth paste. Towels are available to rent for ¥300 but I always suggest bringing your own. The location is 10 mins from the train station and restaurants, as well as food stores. They have a kitchen with complimentary tea (English breakfast), coffee, microwave and fridge. The hosts speak great English and they have booklets that show what to do in ise and the surrounding areas.

We stayed in the end of June,2017. It was very hot and humid day, needed more air conditioner! I felt the air conditioner didn't work or it was very old so that couldn't send cold air. Anyway, this accommodation is very good! nice location! easy to get to The GEKU. And friendly staffs! I forgot the name but Hiro?Yos? was very nice! He helped us a lot. for sure We are coming back again!

Because I am going to Ise Jingu, I didn't care too much about the hotel. But it turns out that although the store is a little smaller, there is absolutely no problem with hygiene and service. Although the hardware is not comparable to those big hotels, it is also on average. The only downside is that there are very few foreigners staying in Ise. Only one aunt can communicate smoothly in English. But if you stay away from these basic exchanges, there will be no problem in Japanese. In addition, the location is very close to the tram stop. I don't know the room during the day, but I can hardly hear the sound of the tram passing at night.

We were a family of four (all adults) and stayed in the 'Hinode' room for three nights. The room was clean and tidy, and is located on the second floor (first floor for Western countries' definition). It is so spacious with more than enough space for four futons fully laid out and space to sit around the Japanese (short) living table and watch tv. Note that we only had our overnight bags as our large bags were sent from our previous accommodation to the next accommodation. We could only booked a room with shared bath and toilet. I was worried that my family would not be used to the shared bathroom and toilet arrangement (as I'm used to this arrangement in one of my past Japan travels), but they were perfectly fine with it. The bath, toilet and sink area are always clean throughout our stay. To get to the ryokan from Iseshi station, make sure to take the JR station exit if you get to Ise by Kintetsu train. As you exit the JR station building, turn left and walk on the road next to the train line. There is a shrine on the opposite side of the road. You will see that the ryokan is opposite this shrine. We didn't have any problem with noise from the trains, cars, etc. It is a quiet area with lots of restaurants nearby. Ise Geku shrine is within short walking distance and it is easy to get on a bus that takes you to Ise Naiku shrine. The ryokan staff doesn't speak much of English but we didn't have problem with that as I can speak some Japanese. They are really nice and helpful, and gave us recommendations for breakfast and dinner around the ryokan. I am pretty sure if you can't speak Japanese, they will go out of their way to help you. I'm sure anyone would worry about the comfort level of the futon. Out of all my numerous Japan trips and ryokan stays, this ryokan, honestly, has the thickest futon mattress that I have ever slept on. You won't even feel like you are sleeping on a futon (i.e. on tatami mat/floor). I didn't have any issue with sleeping throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend this ryokan to anyone coming to Ise and wanting to stay near Iseshi station.

Family trip arriving at 3:30 pm. I left the Kintetsu Iseshi station ticket gate and arrived in a few minutes. There is a large bath, a delicious breakfast, a safe and comfortable non-smoking connect room (two twins can be moved inside), air conditioning and an air purifier. The bed was very comfortable, and there were two types of pillows, hard and fluffy, which were also kind to the tired body, so I walked 18,000 steps without feeling tired. Also, I was impressed with this because I didn't mind the smell at all in the hotel. This alone is fine, but there is a convenience store nearby and transportation is convenient. It takes 6 to 7 minutes to walk to the outer shrine in the hot weather. I also picked up an empty taxi at the intersection nearby. I ate dinner late at the store on the JR Iseshi station side, but when I return to the hotel, I can enter from the ticket gate of JR Iseshi station with the Kintetsu admission ticket, so it only takes about 5 minutes if I go through the connecting passage. did. The large bathhouse was open until 24:00, which was also very helpful. It was really nice to stay here and I was very satisfied. I am deeply grateful for supporting the most comfortable trip to Ise.

The hotel is approximately 8 minutes walk from the vicinity of Kintetsu. Although it looks simple and simple, the rooms are clean and tidy. The front desk and room service staff are very polite and polite. The Matsusaka beef downstairs is also very good, walking to the surrounding restaurants is very convenient and fast. It is a good place to stay for Toba and Sang. There is a supermarket next to it, and there is a big cosmeceutical on the opposite side. There are no shopping malls around, and the short stay left me with a good impression of comfort and comfort!

Our first time in Ise. City was full, no acomodations available downtown. I ended up booking Hotel Hane on “Booking”. At a very beat rate of one forty US per night. When we arrived in Ise central station by train, we realized we needed to take another bus-or train to go the 5 miles hane is from dowtown. Arriving at the hotel huge signs advertise the room for fifty US a night. I felt bad...hotel is like I always imagined a hotel would be in north Korea. 5 story building. From the fifties. Pink paperwalls. Yellowish plastic bathrooms. Old, old carpet used to the floor. Our room on the second floor has one window that opens in the basement of another building. Zero sunlight. Never. Spooky hotel. Nownthere are some positives, beds are comfortable, water is hot and flows strong. Japanese breakfast is good. All said the most expensive one star motel I ever booked.

Sanco inn has a nice location as there is railway station, convenient shop and restaurants nearby. You can walk 5 minutes to all the above facilities. I think this is a new hotel as its lights are bright and the interior design is fashionable. I appreciate it has a spa for guest but I was to tired to experience. Also, there is a small “bar” near lobby for the guest taking the consumptions like lotion, toothbrush, combs, base on the guest own needs. One of the reason is it is near the spa. And also, I think it can reduce waste as not everyone need the consumptions. The staff are nice. I can communicate with them in English easily. The tourist information is clear too. The room is clean and comfortable. The multi-hub for different electronic devices surprises me! This is a very caring arrangement!

We stayed for two nights. Our room is at the end of the corridor, facing a main road. We heard police car/ fire engine siren several times during the night. Also, it was a rainy night, and we could hear the dripping sound of raindrops through the wall. Hardly sleep at all as I am a light sleeper. Our room had an outdoor onsen in the balcony. It would be much better if there are clear instructions on how to use the onsen as there is a panel with only Japanese words on it. The hotel did provide a very simple manual in English but it did not explain well enough. The breakfast provided at the hotel was the traditional Japanese style. The food was delicious and the portion was quite big. It came with my hotel package, and I think the hotel is expensive and not worth the price.

My only complaint about this place was that I had to leave after only one night. First of all, the price was very reasonable for a Japanese Ryokan. I was greeted as I pulled into the lot by a smiling, English speaking staff member who took my bags immediately. Check in was swift and comfortable. I was shown to my room. I had taken the cheapest room since I was traveling alone and Just wanted some R&R. Despite the rate, I still had a full view of the mountains and some of the sea, it was lovely! The onsen was clean, and had amazing views. The next morning I had it entirely to myself. I ate in the Izayaka for dinner and had some of the best sushi I've had since living in Japan. And in the morning I strolled around the property enjoying the incredible views. I have had some very bad experiences at far more expensive Ryokan's since moving here. This one had everything I wanted and needed. Friendly staff, large rooms, beautiful onsen, great food and scenery. I will definately return the next time I need a recharge!

I stay in Asahikan for one night (breakfast and dinner included) - am very pleased with their nice, clean and spacious room. And most importantly so impressed with their services. We forgot to request a no meat meal, and only let them know on arrival. They were very flexible and accommodate our needs immediately. The staff were very proactive: 1) Help us a lot in finding out how to get to our next stop, gave us advice on place to visit... 2) When I found out that I forgot my water proof jacket in the room and called them, they immediately said they were expecting my call and helped me to send it to the next hotel that I am staying. The food was very nice too! And their staff made us feel at home! So appreciate their friendliness and effectiveness. And it’s a nice stroll of about 10-15 min to the husband/ wife rock on the water promenade... really nice stay.
