Price wasn’t bad. As a whole the hotel looks pretty good, lobby area was nice, employees were friendly. But first I booked a double Queen and they moved my family of 4 to a single king and gave me a rollaway. At first glance the room looked ok but upon closer look it was fairly dirty. Dead bugs in all the lights, stains on the bedding, dead bug smashed on the wall, markings and dirty on the walls. Doors have a sizeable gap at the bottom and walls are thin so you hear everything. And during the 3 nights we were here people were very loud and inconsiderate of other guests, slamming doors, running down the hallway. The rollaway was completely stained over most of the bed. Over all very meh stay.

Wonderful location near the airport. The room was very spacious and quite comfortable. The pool is heat year round and was very nice to have available. The on site restaurant breakfast buffet was decent enough for the price. Complimentary cookies upon check-in was also a nice touch. Locked myself out of the room and it was not a hassle to get back in. Also, grabbing sna KS from the self serve kiosk and billing them to the room before swimming was super convenient.

The hotel is clean and the price is relatively cheap, but the breakfast is simple, mainly bread, omelettes, fruit, cakes, etc. Waffles, we won't do it ourselves. In addition, it is best not to live on the first floor. Their hotel is different from our domestic hotel. The first floor has doors in all directions, so guests can come and go at any time. Arranged for me 138 The room was right next to the door. One person who was out in the middle of the night woke up. It was difficult to fall asleep when I was on a business trip, and then I lost sleep all night. The hotel has a self-service laundry room, but don't wash the good clothes. Some of my shirts are not wrinkled. The hotel can pick up and drop off to the airport for free. The location is right next door and opposite the Hilton and Sheraton hotels. There is also a restaurant R+R Bar&Grill. It tastes good, but I don't have a single atmosphere. This hotel does not have a restaurant itself

Spartan, with bad lighting. That's how I'd describe this place. I'm floored this is considered #15 in Tucson. This is my first time in Tucson, but now I'm terrified of what the rest of the hotels in the city look like. Thankfully, I'm only staying for one night. The only saving grace of this place is that the staff is super nice, the beds are relatively comfortable and the rooms are large. Speaking of, I'm pretty sure my room smells like musty feet. So yeah, I'm literally counting the hours until my shuttle picks me up at 8:00 a.m.

On the first evening of my stay while parked in your lot during a storm, a large branch from a tree in front of the entrance fell and damaged my pickup as well as the car next to mine. This same tree had lost a branch on the opposite side a week before and damaged another car. I have pictures that suggest this tree was not healthy and should have been either trimmed or removed. I was held up the next day several hours before the branch was removed which caused a long delay in my schedule and caused me to have to stay another day. The manager never approached me about the situation even though I asked at the desk several times,I was only given a business card. I was surprised that no accommodation was offered. Parking at your own risk should not mitigate a situation where prior knowledge existed.

I am a Platinum Elite member and stay often at Holiday Inn Express (HIE) locations because I know what I am getting each stay. Spent 2 nights Dec 30 - Jan 1 with my teenage daughter. The staff are some of the best I have interacted with in years at a hotel. Friendly and seem to care about the guest experience. Not just 1 or 2 but all of them. Easily ranks top 2 in staff at the properties I have stayed at. The hotel itself is essentially the same as all HIE locations. Rooms are the same across the properties with a 'local' feeling to the lobby and pool. The pool was open and lobby/breakfast area clean and comfortable. The room I was in could use an update but overall I would rate it average across all the properties I have stayed at. HIE offers the same hot breakfast everywhere but does have a rotating menu for some variety on multile night stays. Is is a 5 star meal...no but it will fill you up and keep you going until lunch. I had a small billing issue that I called IHG about when I got home. I tried handling it before departure but I left very early in the morning and the front desk gal couldn't figure out what went wrong. IHG indicated I would get a call from the hotel within 48 hours. Less than 30 minutes later the General Manager of the property called me and we had the issue sorted very quickly. The error was corrected the next day on my credit card statement. I would not hesistate to stay here again.

We liked the look of the outside and expected the inside to be nicer, especially being a Marriott. The room was spacious and clean, but the beds and pillows were very uncomfortable, leading to not much sleep. The TV was in a spot parallel to the bed making it hard to watch, and we had to rearrange the furniture in order to unfold the sleeper couch (which was completely unmade, and the bedding was stored in a bag in the closet). Seeing as how we paid $300 for the night I was expecting a whole lot more. I've stayed at hotels for less and received a lot more in the way of amenities, convenience and better service (there was no one at the front desk to check out in the morning and I had to walk around looking for an employee, who just told me to leave my key at the desk, and then proceeded to carry on with her conversations with the other employee). I will definitely not be staying here again unless it's the last room in the ENTIRE city of Tucson.

I heard a noise scratching in the mattress, that woke me up. I called to the front desk and the lady did come up right away. She heard the noise twice herself. I was moved to a king suite at 11:00 pm. I was checking out at 11:00 am the next morning. I asked the manager for one night of room comp while checking out. He said that I was moved to a king suite. That was only for a couple of hours. I didn't get the full benefits of the suite for several reasons. The nightstand in the bedroom didn't have a table lamp nor a ceiling light. The only light was from the main living room or the bathroom outside of the bedroom. I didn't turn the TV on because I had to get back to sleep to be up on time to pack and checkout. I asked did they find out what it was in the mattress? I was told no. Kind of strange you put the room out of services and found nothing. A staff member heard the same noise, hit the mattress and heard the noise again.

I had a wonderful relaxing stay for a week in August when I stayed in Tucson while my son started as a freshman at the University of Arizona. The Inn is just a couple of blocks walk from the University in the Sam Hughes neighbourhood, which I felt very safe walking through by myself. The Inn is a true oasis in the desert, with a beautiful garden, sparkling swimming pool, a magnificent 3 course breakfast cooked by Dina every morning and spacious, immaculately clean bedrooms beautifully decorated with local Arizona crafts and furnishings. I stayed in the Casita room which had a separate lounge room and was separate from the main building so I felt like I had plenty of space to myself but could also chat with the other guests at breakfast. Dina made lovely banana muffins and there were snacks and plenty of bottled water we could enjoy during the day which I really appreciated. The inn felt like my own home in Tucson, with free wifi, a mini fridge, coffee machine, microwave, air conditioning and 2 TVs in my room and Dina was absolutely the best hostess. Not only was she an amazing cook but she gave me great tips on places to visit like Tombstone and the Desert Museum. I stayed at 2 other hotels in Tucson during my stay but neither came even slightly close to the Adobe Rose Inn. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Thank you so much to the Adobe Rose Inn and Dina for such a lovely stay.

Always a fan of the AC hotels, and this one definitely meets the mark. Located in downtown Tucson, short drive from the airport and 1 block away from nightlife, coffee, and restaurants. Hotel parking can be pricey, but luckily there are some decent street parking options around. The hotel is right next to a nightclub so you may hear noises til late night so beware if you value a quiet night's sleep. Lobby is well appointed, not huge but has a decent bar. Check-in was quick and easy, not much of a line. Elevators get you to your room quickly, not much of a wait. Not the tallest hotel but you have a decent view of downtown Tucson with large windows. Bed is nice and comfortable, rooms are large with plenty of outlets and luggage storage. Bathroom is large and comfortable and wifi works perfectly. Overall will try to stay again.

Preface: I am an airline flight crew member who lives over half of my life in hotels. This is the hotel our airline puts us up. We do not stay in luxury 5 star hotels... Upon check-in we were given a notice that there is no daily housekeeping because the hotel is unable to hire enough housekeepers and their occupancy is up and they are not able to meet demand. Also, to call the front desk if amenities are needed. I cal the front desk anyway? We stay in hotels for about 8 to 10 hours at a time so I never use daily housekeeping. Having said this, the room was clean and the property appears well maintained. The reason for the low rating: The walls are ridiculous thin. One can hear conversation in the adjacent rooms clearly. One can hear TV as well. I'm talking about TV and conversation that is reasonable levels. I don't want to be a whiner, but it's (that) bad. The gym is sp****. A couple of cardio machines. A set of mismatched dumbbells that go to 40 lbs. Some of the weight increments are missing and some are missing one of the dumbbells. I know hotels have a problem with theft of dumbbells from those who steal these to use as weights for flea market tent hold downs. The gym is small as well. In room has a nice TV. Has one of those crappy CV1 coffeemakers. Small refrig. in room and a real bath tub as opposed to walk in shower. A big deal breaker!!! (If I were choosing a hotel) Has one of those motion sensing thermostats which is also controlled remotely! These should be BANNED! No problem with staff. They seemed friendly and attentive.

I moved into this Extended Stay hotel in January, expecting to be here less than a week. As it turned out, the room is just the right size for me and my stuff, and I'm still here for now. It's quiet, the TV has a decent number of channels, the a/c has kept me cool even on our hottest days (I do supplement the a/c with a 20” fan since I like it cool at night), the staff is always available and helpful, friendly. It has a full-sized kitchen with plenty of counter space and cabinets, a full-sized fridge, and they provide everything needed (dishes, silverware, etc.) for eating/cooking, although pretty much all I need is a microwave. There's plenty of hot water for showers, etc., the desk is a good size, large enough for my desktop computer, monitor, and misc. office supplies. I have enjoyed my stay here and will definitely consider Extended Stay for future trips.

Always a good sign when you stay at the same place a second time. We like to get the 2-bedroom suite (with loft) when we come to Tucson because it's a lot of space to spread out for the four of us. Full kitchen, two bathrooms, the works. Breakfast was included in a grab-and-go format. It had a fair amount of choices, though the egg burritos were inedible. Service was fine, and the room was clean. Barking dogs in an adjacent unit, but otherwise quiet. It was a little chilly in the room, and there was no easy way to raise the heat or find thick blankets. Overall, still a great place, and we would likely come back a third time.

We have offered this feedback to corporate and property general management via email with no reply. Sadly, due to the issues that we experienced we probably won't be visiting again. Its a beautiful property but the staff and issues we experienced don't allow us to highly recommend. (+)At check-in my wife had a helpful and excellent experience with Jaime Ortiz. He took the time to help her get our family and our luggage to the room since I had not arrived yet. He is to be commended for his genuine attention and how truly eager he was to help. (-)My wife enjoyed cocktails from the Azul lounge and unfortunately received very aloof service from the female bartender with dark hair and glasses. I also experienced this same level of dissatisfactory service from this particular bartender on a separate occasion on Saturday. (-) Saturday morning our room was covered by black ants. My wife called the front desk and asked that housekeeping or maintenance please come to the room to address the issue. The issue was not taken care of until a few hours later while we were at the pool. (+) Saturday, we spent our breakfast at Azul and Tommy was our server. He was warm, friendly, and very helpful. He made recommendations for entrée selections and interacted with our children in a genuine way. (+) We spent Saturday late morning and early afternoon at the pool and Andrea helped us with our alcohol and food order. She was very sweet and checked on us as she saw us around at the different pools. (+) We booked our 2 children into the Kids Club from 5:50pm-7:50pm on Saturday. Hannah was efficient in the reservation and check in process. Our children detailed that they had fun. (+) We wanted to enjoy some tapas from Contigo while our kids were in the Kids Club but didn’t know how to get there. We went to the front desk and Andrianna actually came around the desk and walked us to the door to ensure we had correct directions. She was the 2nd employee, from Jaime (mentioned earlier) that went above and beyond to help my family. (+) At Contigo our experience was perfection, which we hadn’t experienced at La Paloma up to the point unfortunately. My wife made sure to ask for the manager, Jorge, and share that Erin O and our server Danny V were such great staff members throughout our meal! (-) We returned to our room to see that the ants were still prevalent now having gotten into all of my children’s snacks and a dozen cookies we had delivered to the hotel for our children as a Saturday night surprise. Ants were in my son’s shoes and our carryon bags. It was a mess and my wife had to spend some time on her staycation cleaning our room and hotel furniture, and throwing out so much food! (-) We went to breakfast again at Azul on Sunday morning and Michelle was our server. She forgot to fulfill some of our small requests and our drinks were not refilled in our meal. When she came to bring our bill she open mouthed coughed onto my son and his pancakes. This is appalling! She made n

The front desk “manager”, Sylvia, was extremely rude. I tried explaining, offering solutions, or just speaking in general, but she is just such a poorly trained and rude employee that she would not allow me to say more than a few words without speaking over me. The thought occurred to me that perhaps she couldn’t hear me very well and I started speaking more loudly and not stopping when she would interrupt me. That resulted in her claiming that I was yelling, screaming and insulting her. She declared that she was cancelling my husband’s reservation and wanted my people (because my brother in law that was there in the lobby doesn’t speak English…Hispanics…my people) out of HER hotel and then she hung up on me. I called back and asked if she hung up on me and she admitted that she did and that she was not going to tolerate being yelled and cursed at. I never yelled and I certainly never cursed. She just kept repeating herself and hung up again. My brother in law said that he spoke with her at length before I called and she was very rude to him as well and made comments with racist tones to him as well. I looked at the reviews just now before posting and was so shocked (or maybe I should have expected it) to see that many others had almost identical experiences to mine. How does she still work there? The manager Paul called me at one point after Wyndham customer service reached out to him, but I think he did so without realizing I was a customer and once he realized he disconnected and blocked my number (really weird). I’ve seen Paul’s cookie cutter responses on several of the bad reviews on here, so I’m not sure if anyone will take this complaint seriously. Bottom line: Sylvia is rude, argumentative, should never work in any form of customer service, called me “horrible” because I asked her to *please* allow me to speak, and she is probably racist. Knowing all this, management still allows her to work there. Beware.

Security is protective. Maintenance is on the ball and if something needs to be fixed they come and fix it right away. The ladies at the front desk are friendly and courteous and will help you with what we you need. If you need a quick cheap stay then this is it. If you want to stay longer then that can happen too but no it is not a extended stay, though for $280 will get you a weeks stay! It isn't the most fancy upper class it has caring and chill vibes.

Initially, we booked just one night to check the hotel out but ended up staying 5 nights!! We loved the accommodations. The suite-style room was great, the bed was very comfortable, and it was super quiet. Parts of the hotel are still being refurnished so the hallway carpeting is in need of replacement but our room was in good shape. The hot breakfast buffet is also very good with scrambled eggs, beans, potatoes, meat, & pancakes. The location was also great as we were close to the Huckleberry Loop & biked different sections of it everyday. What awesome network of trails!! There were only a couple of negatives, the room temperature was hard to control & there were limited TV channels available but that definitely wouldn’t stop us from staying here again! It was a great stay!

The hotel is nice, except that it is expensive. It seems that all hotels in Arizona are expensive.

Excellent hotel. Felt closer to a 4 star hotel. Very good value. Room was large with separate bedroom and living room. Modern bathroom. Large complex with rooms opening to outdoor corridors overlooking a central pool area. Pool area looked very inviting, but it was too cold when I stayed in late February. Plenty of free parking surrounding the complex so never a long walk to the car. Complimentary breakfast which included freshly made to order omelets. A bit of a wait to get one but still a nice touch. Located on the Northeast side of Tucson which made it easy to get out to Sabino Canyon but still not too far from downtown.

The room is large and the bathroom is large. Clean and tidy, staying is not bad. Located in the University of Arizona campus. At 6 o'clock in the morning, the sound of construction work began to come, with a little noise. . 20 minutes drive from Tucson Airport, no traffic jam, very convenient. There is a lively dining street and supermarket behind the hotel.
