The overall stay at this hotel was good, the staff was kind and we were promptly seen to check in. The hotel was a bit dated and could use a few upgrades, some of the furniture also still had the plastic covers on some parts of it which should be taken off by now I'd think, but the room was clean and had all the necessities. It is off of a highway so you will hear some cars but that's expected as it's right off of the street. We did feel rushed to check out in the morning as twice we had staff knocking at the door before the 11am checkout asking if we would be checking out. Overall nice hotel and decent stay( we did not get the breakfast so not sure how that was) good for just 1 overnight stay.

We have stayed here several times. It is a great value in a nice area of the city. The property is newer and clean. The staff is friendly. They have a nice lobby with lounge and breakfast area. This has become our new accommodation of choice when we stay in San Angelo.

we stayed one night during our recent road trip through Texas and New Mexico. We checked in with K'Lee who was a one woman show, very Friendly and gave us a great recommendation for dinner. The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. Next morning we checked out with Selena who went above and beyond to assist us with some technical difficulties. I stay in lots of HIE locations but this is the first time I have stayed in this location. I am a frequent traveler. Mixed bag, some good and some bad at this hotel. Front desk staff were not friendly and they failed to acknowledge my top level status which usually occurs in all HIE hotels. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Room appears to have fairly new carpet but there are issues--rotted wall by the shower, towel rack loose and ready to fall off the wall, light fixture on the wall was slanted down on one end and appears to be ready to fall off the wall. The soap dispenser was worn out--when you pumped soap, you had to pull the pump device up manually to pump a second time. The elevator floor was filthy. The hallway on the 2nd floor needed to be vacuumed pronto. The breakfast was good for a free breakfast but the two rooms needed a good cleaning. I stay in IHG/HIEs in multiple states many times each year and stay in 30-40 hotels every year with about half of those stays at HIE hotels. This experience was clearly one of my worst experiences in an HIE hotel in many years and I won't ever return to this hotel. This hotel's 4 star rating on TripAdvisor is clearly incorrect--this hotel is a 3 star quality hotel.
