Loved this hotel. It’s minutes walk to all great restaurants, train station and shopping area - Alexandraplatz. 10 min walk to the TV Tower and all our local tours meeting are nearby! And it’s not expensive too! We stayed in room 112 a studio with kitchenette for 3 people. We had the entire garden balcony accessible to us! They provided luxurious feeling slippers & bathrobe too! And the coffee maker and coffee were fantastic! We didn’t include breakfast to our room rate so that we can try the various lively places around that area - which turned out to be a good decision! Loved everything about the place!! Oh only caveat is that the shower is kinda see through so only a small inconvenience! Oh and we needed to make sure we put the sign at the door for the room to be serviced & cleaned before noon. Highly recommend this place if you were ever to visit Berlin !

Our room on the 13th floor was standard category. Spartan in decor, purely functional in layout, the room was clean, the tv worked and it had a minibar plus good view . No tea or coffee making facilities but that might just be a Radisson feature. However, when I needed help in checking in on line for a flight home, the wonderful lady at the Customer Relations desk was just amazing. I never established her name, but think her surname was 'Williti'. She is absolutely a gem and patiently managed to get us check-in with EasyJet, and printed out our boarding cards. Thank you so much. My wife and I were then treated to a trip to the 37th floor to enjoy the magnificent views. It was a very kind gesture and one we won't forget. I hope Radisson Alexanderplatz management appreciate they have a star on their team.

Not like just another nice 4-star hotel, this a mini-experience in itself. I’ll come back here for sure. Love the interior of the room and of course all the magnificent art! This hotel has just about everything for making your stay efficient, comfortable and very nice. Great location in the Mitte, great serviceminded personnel and, one of the best things, a wonderful bed (which should definitely not be underestimated if, for example, you intend to walk and see a lot. Who doesn't have to sleep comfortably to cope with whatever the coming day has in her mind). See you again soon Weinmaster!

This place is fine, but not great. You can certainly do better, but I also wouldn't advise against it. I personally would stay somewhere else next time. Pros: Good location, lots of good food and drink in the area. Good transit connections. Clean Reasonably priced Good use of space, some clever designs for the kitchen area. Nespresso machine and water boiler are provided, but you have to provide your own capsules, which are available at reception, though probalby cheaper to just buy on your own. Cons: Ironically, we chose this place because having AC was important to us, knowing that it can get quite hot in the summer. However, it was barely functional. The reception never responded regarding the issue. We mostly slept with the windows open, which leads to the next con. The street is extremely loud. Constant sirens. Lots of traffic. There is also a hostel across the street with loud people outside well into the night. The couch was uncomfortable as well as the pull out bed. The bed was pretty comfortable but something about the mattress protector felt not very breathable, so that was uncomfortable for temperature regulation. The rug did not add anything to the room and it also didn't fit the space so was folded up along the wall. I would have preferred it to not be there. There were no bowls in the cabinet. We asked reception for some, but they never gave us any. There were also no clear instructions about who is responsible for cleaning dishes. No sponges, dish soap, dishwasher soap, etc. Housekeeping did load the dishwasher on the days that they serviced, but we didn't have our room serviced every day. If you are working normal hours, that interferes with the hours that housekeeping will service the room, so you have to plan to leave for some time, but it is unpredictable. The laundry room was kind of disgusting. It smelled strongly of mildew and there is only one washing machine. It takes forever as well, assuming the machines are even available. Waschsalon down the street was a much better experience. Reception was not particularly friendly or helpful. Every interaction I had was disappointing in some way. No table/desk for eating/working.

We travel to Berline 1-2 times per year. This was our first stay at Adina and we were very impressed and will be back. The first thing to really get our attention was the size of the room. It was so much more spacious than we were expecting! Wow. The beds were comfortable, with soft bedding and two pillows per person already there. Windows open fairly far (more than in many tall buildings) to allow fresh air to enter. And the air con worked very well in the recent heat wave. The kitchenette was super clean and very usuable. It was right by the front door with a big area behind the work area that was left open, so no tripping over people while cooking. It contained a good sized fridge (that stayed really cold), 2 burner stove stop, microwave, sink and dishwasher. Dish tabs and dish soap as well as a kitchen towel were próvided. There's a good selection of pans and pots, bowls, etc as well as a wine bottle opener, various glasses, plates, etc. The bathroom was pretty averagge, but nothing wrong at all. The walk in shower was decent sized (lookedl ike the area was origianly designed for a basic tub size-wise) and had lots of hot water and good water pressure. The sofa was comfortable. The dining table was bigger than I expected and comfortable for two to dine at family style (we had a studio) or play board games, etc. There is plenty of workspace there as well as at the large desk to spread out a computer and lots of files and papers, etc. The TV was a good size and worked well. Wifi was fast and reliable even when streaming on making video calls. We did have to sign in daily, but that was easy and fast with no passwords required. The location is great, very near the station, lots of shopping and dining options, etc. There is a small Rewe on teh same block, only about a 3 minute walk away which was great for picking up drinks and snacks. Finally the staff were always friendly and professional. We will be back.

Room was lovely, bed was really comfortable and staff were helpful. Went to our room on arrival and the room was hot. Fiddled with the controls of what looked like air conditioning and not much seemed to happen. Took a picture of the control box down to reception to find out what i was doing wrong, and was told the hotel doesn't have air con, as Berlin doesn't get hot enough and this was the heat control. Spent Friday night with broken sleep due to the nearby disco (i guess), as we had to leave the window open all night as it was too warm (and this was with no heating). Saturday was better, but still noisy. Last night quieter but would have been more so if we didn't have to leave the window open. Friends whom we travelled with had the same issue, and the added noise being at the front of the hotel, with the passing trams.. Only for these reasons, I wouldn't stay again. Alexanderplatz is good for travel but not the most attractive place. Loved Berlin as first timers, but would personally look at Ku'damm instead. Obviously, with the benefit of hindsight, I would have checked the listing, which clearly states air conditioning. However, if you do go -From Tegel airport take the airport bus showing Hbf on the front (- to Hauptbahnhof- the biggest railway station in Berlin). At the last stop get off and wait at that stop for a 245 to Alexanderplatz. Total time for the journey about 40 mins. Enter the Alexanderplatz Square, look for the building with something like 'Fit Fx' in orange on the top. Keeping that on your right, the Indigo is just past it. At night, the sign is lit up and easier to see. Lastly, Berlin is really reasonably priced and great transport system.

I booked this hotel the day before my trip to Berlin. I thought the price was very reasonable, but didn’t know what to expect. It was an absolutely gorgeous hotel! Decorated nicely, very friendly staff, and very conveniently located. The S-Bahn is just a couple minutes walk, and the subway is about 8 minutes. The lady that worked at the bar in the evenings (I didn’t catch her name unfortunately) spoke very excellent English and was super helpful. If I come back to Berlin I’d definitely stay here!

My husband and I stayed last week for 4 nights. The room was very small and had little storage space. It was a very dark room with one window and the aircon was useless. As it was hot weather, we had the small window open all night which wasn't ideal as, even though we faced the quieter side with no view, we still heard ambulance sirens that disturbed our sleep. The rest of the stay was ok. We had to decide on checking in what breakfast time slot we wanted. We chose 9.30. The good thing was it was self selection - with disposable gloves provided - and there was a good selection. The area was a bit small and crowded but we always got a table. The coffee was awful. No other complaints - the bed and bathroom fine and location good, but would choose a different hotel next time because of the bad points mentioned.

Stayed at OTA Berlin with my husband and two sons (18 and 16). We booked a studio apartment and it was a perfect base near the city for us. Huge apartment with two single beds and a double, beautiful high ceilings and very light and bright. The kitchen was very well equipped so we were able to cook breakfast every morning. We were at the back of the building, facing into the courtyard so street noise wasn’t an issue for us, although there was a very rowdy crowd staying on our last night, shouting out in the courtyard until all hours and again early in the morning. The apartment is only a 10 minute walk to Alexanderplatz and there is a U Bahn station less than five minutes walk away. There’s also a supermarket, bakery and pharmacy all nearby. We were on the third floor and there is no lift so you really get a workout! There was broken glass in the hallway on the second morning we stayed and it was still there two days later. We had been instructed on check-in to drop the two keys in the letter box in the hall when we were checking out. However as we were leaving we met an elderly man sweeping the stairs who insisted we give him the keys, I tried to explain that we would drop them in the letter box, as instructed, but he wouldn’t take no for an answer so we hesitatingly handed them over, hoping he was an employee!! The only thing that bothered me about the apartment was that there was no sign of any fire safety equipment anywhere in the building, apart from a fire blanket next to the cooker. No sign of a fire extinguisher or fire hose anywhere in the apartment or in the public areas, I was surprised that an apartment could be rented out to the public without stringent fire regulations? Otherwise, it was a very enjoyable stay.

It can be said that it is a pleasant full of youth travel, very good! The four people are mixed with a private bathroom, the room is not small, the bunk bed, the bed is very comfortable, there is a desk, and each person has a separate small iron cabinet. The bathroom is also very spacious, the shower head can be taken down, very satisfied. It is cleaned every morning and it is very clean. The most important thing is that the breakfast is very rich. At night, the lobby turns into a clear bar. There is a lot of location, the atmosphere is very good, and there is free hot water. The hotel also has a laundry room, which is about 3 Euros, and a laundry soap vending machine. The few ladies at the front desk were very nice and very enthusiastic. The location is also very good, there are versatile bus lines 100 and 200 at the entrance, there are many different lines of tram, walking to Alexanderplatz (TV tower) is less than 10 minutes, walking around the museum island is 20 minutes . The surrounding environment is very safe and clean. The opposite is Benz bank. In short, this is the best experience in the trip to Europe. It is easy to stay for four or five days and it will not be inconvenient.

Hampton by Hilton, Alexander Platz in Berlin is an awesome choice for stay if you happen to be here in Berlin. I was on a holiday and made the most of my stay while here, both in the city and at the property. During my check-in I was offered a twin bed. However, on request I was immediately switched to a double bed room – It seem there was a glitch in my advance booking- Nonetheless the team quickly helped me out and I am glad it was fuss free. The rooms were pretty average in size (smaller than their property in Chicago & Providence but obviously bigger than the one in Manhattan) Sleep was good, proximity to all the happening places were just around the corner. Bus stops and Underground trains were just 5 mins walk away. The biggest plus point for me was the breakfast – It was lip-smacking. There’s always a tourist desk on the ground floor where you can plan a lot of things with the help of the concierge. I chose to do the hop-on, hop-off which departs from the Alexander Platz itself. Overall, my stay was amazing – Would I stay here again – Of course I would.

Breakfast is okay, but it is still more monotonous than the domestic hotel. The location is very good, the entrance is the Potsdamer Platz, there is also a subway station, the Brandenburg Gate, the Parliament Building, the Berlin Shopping Center are very close, and there is a Mobai at the door, very convenient. There are also other companies sharing bicycles with children's seats, but the QR code can't be scanned. I don't know how to use them, but the hotel has a bicycle with a child seat for rent, 30 euros a day, 15 euros a day. To the northwest of the hotel is a large Tiergarten park, which is in a good environment with trees, grass and water.

Stayed here back in December last year, for a long weekend for the christmas markets before all the covid stuff had kicked off. We had hoped to return this year but due to the ongoing pandemic, its probably going to be 2022 now. The hotel is located in the East of the city. We flew in Tegel and found it a long , inconvenient journey but our return flight wasout of SXF which was much more convenient so the hotel will be pretty convenient for the new Berlin airport which opens soon. The lobby was spacious, trendy and contemporary as were the guest rooms. Our room was quiet though 2 of the lads we were travelling with had rooms overlooking a trainline, so request rooms away from trains. Beds were exceptionally comfortable and we slept well . Everything felt very clean. We booked a hotel with spa facilities so had been expecting an indoor pool! disappointed that there was not one in the hotel however they did have a really relaxing spa area that had a hot whirlpool aswell as the usual saunas , so that was a nice way to chill out in the evenings after a long, cold day in Berlin! Please note however, its strictly trunks off. You have to use the area completely naked , which they say is for hygiene reasons. Although this was a little out of my comfort zone it did not detract us from enjoying the facility, I felt more embarrassed about my friends who i was travelling with having to see me naked though since we were sharing rooms we all owned up to sleeping naked anyway which no longer made it a big deal but for some guests particularly ladies it might be out of your comfort zone, so just making you aware, as its a mixed sex facility though was mainly men the two occasions that we used it which made it a little less awkward!. Breakfast was an extensive buffet which is free and had a great selection of hot and cold food that we thought was above average for a hotel buffet. Its very accesible for getting into alexanderplatz on the tram. Berlin is one of our favorate European cities, its cool, quirky and there is so much to see and do at anytime of the year. This is a great hotel and we look forward to another long weekend once all this horrible covid stuff is over. Staying safe and positive for now because we know that one day we will travel again!!!

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights on a city break. The hotel itself was ok, it was clean it was functional without being anything special. It was a little dull is how I would describe it without anything being really wrong. The staff were fine without being friendly. The lobby is poorly planned and the staff are locked away being big columns which are terribly placed. Two criticisms, one was that the lift was out of order and hence left one lift to cater for 4 floors and during Covid times the lift was always busy and long waits were standard. The second was that the bathroom had a glass panel from the room which let light in but overlooked the toilet and I thought it a little inappropriate that someone in the room could easily watch you doing a number 2 the other side of the glass. Not ideal. For these two reasons I gave it a 3 out of 5. Poorly designed. But the location was 10/10. 100m from Checkpoint Charlie and the Topography of Terrors. Lovely pub opposite side of the road.

We had a lovely stay. The rooms were stylish and very clean and quiet. The only thing missing was a tea/coffee making facility. We were impressed with the environmentally sensitive touches. We were happy to pass on the room service each day and were rewarded with a drink voucher each day. We used these for a delicious hot chocolate at bedtime on our last night. The breakfast selection was varied and of good quality. So much choice you couldn't fail to find things you wanted and there were plenty of healthy options. Our favourite was the automatic pancake maker. Gluten free options are available. There were plenty of tables and the restauraunt staff are helpful, friendly and efficient. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful. We purchased our travel day ticket each day from the reception (validate it as you get on the tram each day). The hotel is well located to access the transport system and we used the trams, underground, rural train system and buses using our ticket. We would definitely stay again. The only reason we are not awarding 5 stars is the lack of tea/ coffee making facilities. Thank you for making our time so enjoyable.

The Riu Plaza is a 4-star place owned by the Spanish Riu chain, obviously aimed primarily at business and conference people. But it's a good place to stay for holidaymakers too. - Very well located in Schöneberg, 150 metres from Wittenbergplatz (and a little further to Nollendorfplatz in the other direction), so pretty easy access on the U-bahn to almost everywhere, and only 1 stop from Zoo Garden terminal for airport buses. - large, airy rooms, with good views (we were on 16th floor), comfortable bed, excellent and spacious shower and good bathroom in general, fast lifts - a good bar, with friendly bar and wait staff, and not overpriced, just off the reception desk area - generally friendly and efficient front desk staff (but see further on) - not expensive, at least in winter; we paid only just over 100 euros a night, which is good value Its flaws are minimal, but...: - Breakfast is too expensive. Sure, it has all the usual breakfast buffet stuff, but it significantly adds to the cost of the holiday to cough up 19 euros pp each day (we stayed 4 nights). Having just come from an excellent central hotel in Lisbon, where we had an excellent breakfast for 12 euros pp each morning, it seemed excessive, so we settled for a nearby cafe each day. - Make sure you put the 'do not disturb' sign on your door each day if you don't want to get up early. The first day we were there, Monday, having arrived in Berlin at half past midnight, we were woken up at 8.45 am by a cleaner banging on the door. Happened again at the same time a couple of days later when we forgot to put the sign out. Sorry, when you're staying for 4 days, there's no reason to clean the room that early - and I blame the management, not the cleaners, who just do what they're told. - Some of the staff are a little slapdash. E.g., the kettle in our room had been ruined by an idiot previous occupant trying to use it as a coffee perculator, so there was a baked-on layer of coffee on the bottom of it. On our way out the next morning, we took it down to the front desk - the guy there actually asked us to take it back up to our room on the 16th floor, and assured us it would be replaced by the cleaners. When we returned from sightseeing 6 hours later, guess what - the ruined kettle was still there in our room. Fail! I know this is a 1st-world problem, but the original front desk guy should have just taken the kettle and organised to get it replaced. When we took it down again, this time the woman on the front desk took it from us, and a short time later a new kettle was in our room. I don't want to criticise the place too much, as it was pretty good overall and we'd stay there again. But it felt a little impersonal, and while most of the staff were excellent, some were not well-trained or motivated enough to deal properly with issues, relatively minor though our's were. Thus, it gets 4 stars, not 5.
